From the first second of game play every step is separated by ads, UI elements are blocked/cut off by ad banner, some parts of the UI are intentionally designed to be small and hard to click right next to ad buttons. ✓ Good but needs improvement in some placesThe game itself is great but there are two main problems and one smaller one Issue 1: You can’t play it offline for some reason despite the fact that none of it is online ( The rivals are bots ) and this was done on purpose because there’s an error that tells you to connect to the internet. Please make it playable offline Issue 2: The game is filled to the brim with ads, I understand one per round I mean you have to make money somehow but in reality it’s four per round. Also almost all of the progression either requires grinding which isn’t reasonable since its a mobile game, or watching tons of unstoppable ads. Reduce the ad count to at the very most two per round. My third and final issue, which is just a bug, the part at the end where it’s a pinyata type thing has a bug in the power meter where the further from the green the more powerful when it’s meant to be the opposite. However, this game, and pretty much every other Kwalee game, over do it. There’s about 5 very short and easy to complete stages to each level on this game, so you would think that you get an advert after completing each level. But no. They have made it so you get an advert after every stage. I dunked a sword in some water which was one touch of the screen and straight away ad. They have even made it so you can get an ad in the middle of a stage! Like I said I understand there needs to be ads but this is too much. I get an ad about every 10-20 seconds depending on what’s happening. You also can’t play without WiFi, because you need it to play with fake opponents. ✓ Nice Money GrabThe gameplay can be a little fun although it’s pretty bare bones and basic, the little bit of enjoyment you can get from the game is entirely taken away do to the constant spamming of ads. As you progress you get different types of weapons that you can forge from different materials as well as new tools to further refine the weapon and make its attack rating higher. The problem is you are forced to watch ads to receive the new tools and materials leaving the only thing you can actually progress to and buy is the type of weapon itself. I found that getting more tools to craft and perfect your weapon actually becomes more of burden than it is fun because almost every time you go to the next stage to refine the weapon your forces to watch and ad. If you only had to watch one ad before and after you work on the weapon the game wouldn’t be as terrible as it is. Although this could be just speculation on my end, almost all the positive reviews for the game seem so basic and redundant that they are almost certainly botted ratings by the app creators..Version: 1.2.2

I downloaded this game and was promised the ability to sharpen my weapon…. BUT ALAS all I could do was feebly poor my metal over the mold and suddenly My weapon was sharp and ready for testing. I will not sit down and act like the blacksmithing is this easy. NO. I understand this is a game, but it mocks an age old profession that deserves more respect. ✓ Overall kind of boringWhile the process of making the various weapons can be somewhat mesmerizing, it tends to dangle things in front of you that ruins the experience. Not in a way of money, but in a way of bugs. It shoves an ad down your throat every five seconds, and when i said “dangle things in front of you”, i mean a lot of the various stuff in the game can sometimes be unlocked for free by watching an ad, then most of the time it just fails to load one which is pretty baffling for how much it tends to show you ads. That’s where it should end, but what made me drop this in a heartbeat was when i came across a challenge that gives you 2x the coins after forging better than your opponent. Sometimes it challenges you with a “gold knight” with better stuff than you have. Beat it, bought a weapon mold better than his, built it to perfection more or less and left him in the dust. Then, it just crashes, i come back, no coins, no 2x boost, but it did register that i had bought the mold... so i completely demolish the challenge and then get less than what i started it with because the app just crashes and i don’t get anything after.
