✓ A good little rompEnjoyable game so far just started playing today, yeah the traditional annoying mobile tropes are there… energy based play, and ads for revives or premium currency but the gameplay is good, slight bullet hell style auto fire too down shooter. ✓ Would be five stars if it wasn’t for this problem.There can be miscommunication - I can’t tell what’s the foreground and the playground, like the Imps shooting explosives are in the foreground and I’m meant to dodge the red circles, but the Soldiers bullets are in the playground and I have to dodge them in real time. They’re both at the same saturation and are quite detailed so it’s hard to focus on what to dodge because I keep mistaken on what’s the foreground and what’s the playground! In fact that’s a big factor for this game: The UI is hard to look at and feels crowded, the environments, enemies and pretty much everything are at the same level of detail, hue, saturation, and brightness so it all makes things feel very disorienting to me. This could just be a me-thing, but remember, the screen isn’t big so I shouldn’t have to squint or put it so close to my face to make it easier. I’m not asking for a complete art-style change or anything major, just make things clearer..Version: 1.9.0
✓ Fun little gameThere seems to be a bug where if you have a Super-shotgun with a meat hook upgrade and a fully charged BFG, and if you press the button to fire the BFG while still in the middle of the meat hook movement animation, the rest of the game (or maybe just the area, I’m not sure, it was a hell priest boss fight) is permanently in slow motion. That’s my bug report, someone pass it on to QA, hopefully it was helpful :D Ps.: make the keys drop more often, Progression is really slow!.Version: 1.0.1

✓ I never get the upgrades I actually needI enjoy the game, and the well thought out idea that you can dismantle weapons you’re not happy with. Oh yeah, having some demons appear during the boss fights is a great idea too. You have the opportunity to replenish your health from glory kills. Excellent idea. I do wish there were other weapons. It’s forever and a day to get things you need to fuse. For those who are stuck and having trouble with bosses, I suggest trying different weapons combos, use things you might not like. It may seem counterintuitive but don’t move around so much. Wait a second and observe the time it takes for the demons to engage their weapons. Also the bosses with what seems like an unfair barrage of fireballs, just stand further away and you’ll see how easy it can be to step left or right and avoid being hit. Literally just a step or two. The guy that fires those pink thingys that fly erratically… just stand still and they will go right around you. lol seriously. Thanks.Version: 1.12.0

✓ Only thing missing is full controller supportThis is a very good game that in a nice way feeds off the nostalgia of doom I love it a lunch and will give it a five star anyways because of how much fun I’m having with it. The only thing missing in this game is full controller support. You can link your controller up and move your character around and shoot, but if you could please make a Way so I never have to touch the screen while my controller is connected someway so I can get my upgrades in a match with a button instead of reaching all the way over to tap the screen. I like to connect my phone to the TV to play, but I constantly have to keep looking over and tapping the screen when an upgrade pops up or to navigate the dashboard PLEASE give us full controller support, so we do not have to touch the screen at all while the controller is connected.Version: 1.0.1
✓ Great, but needs a few fixesI’m a pretty big fan of the DOOM franchise, so when I learnt that there was a mobile version, I knew I had to get it. It’s a fun and addicting game and I highly recommended it, however it has some issues. It’s very difficult, which I’m fine with because it’s a DOOM game, but because of some bugs, sometimes it’s unplayable. For example, sometimes once I’m almost done clearing the enemies, a new round will start even though the map isn’t fully cleared. Now idk if that’s a feature in the game or if it’s a glitch, but it’s really annoying and sometimes can cost a run. Another bug I have that is really annoying, is if there’s an enemy along a wall and I need to shoot them and I’m against the same wall using a rocket launcher or a gauss cannon, sometimes the rocket will just hit the wall. Neither of these things happen that often, but when they do it’s extremely annoying. And idk if these are glitches or if I’m just really bad, but still these things do mess up the game a little bit. ✓ Love it butI really love this game as it is currently I’m afraid that in app purchases may ruin this game tho…There’s already two slayers that you have too use money on so maybe p2w no idea how op they may be. Just started playing today and I can tell it has potential a lot of it and it’s addictive, I hope that it doesn’t fall into the trap most mobile games have nowadays being ads everywhere and tons of p2w in app purchases, I hope there’s a port to consoles one day as it would be fun to play on my Xbox, the controls would feel a little weird at first tho, I would do it left stick move LT for stuff like rocket launcher, and LB for ultimates or just have custom key binds so yeah console port would be just as good as this no idea why they didn’t do that to begin with..Version: 1.0.0
✓ Nice, simple shooter. Not keen on the gambling mechanicsA nice quick, simple shooter. Looks clean and crisp. Main gameplay works brilliantly. The levelling up mechanics spoil things. They’re very obviously built to trigger your gambling response. The just one more go isn’t because you like the game, it’s to drip feed that ‘I almost did it’ feeling. This means the game is NEVER going to feel satisfying. It’s literally designed not be so that you pay for upgrades in an extremely convulsed system of upgrades, in the hope the game gets better. I’m not keen on this. It means I can’t let my children play it and it means I’ll be constantly encouraged to feel under powered or a little frustrated. There’s a the potential for a great game underneath all the slot machine random spins though so if you don’t mind that kind of thing, add a star. ✓ I’m enjoying myself, more than I should.This is a rather fun game. Great for the F2P crowd or those looking to throw their cash around . People who have joined the slayer’s club, will receive a skin and an uncommon crucible weapon after logging in their info. Though helpful starting out, your free weapon can be replaced rather quickly - either by completing missions/quests or by purchasing the helpful weapon packs. The free stuff could have been done better. Doom slayer skins are expensive, between 5$ - 10$, and include a minor ability. I’d rather have cosmetic choices. I love the recycle mechanic, where you can take out the coin and materials from an item you’ve upgraded, and apply the to better items. Something every game spp should have. I love the chibi characters on the maps representing the Doom Eternal game..Version: 1.4.1

✓ Great game, but still needs a little balancing workTo start off, I love this game. It’s a mighty little shooter with doom guy slapping demon cheeks. However, I’m dying terribly fast in unfair scenarios on the main levels. I’ve been playing the daily missions everyday since the game came out (and I’m guilty of purchasing a couple packs), but yet I feel like my guy is improving at a terribly slow rate compared to how much damage the enemies dish out, especially the bosses. The game started out so fun, but the steep incline in the upgrade cost compared to the damage output of bosses and the normal demons, make it very difficult to progress after a certain point, even with paying with your hard earned money. Overall, it’s an awesome game to pass the time! With a little work on tuning these roided out demons, it’s a near perfect mobile shooter..Version: 1.2.0
✓ Good quality considering the platform (edited)Being a fan of doom I’d say this is a good game for what it’s worth. Its just an arena shooter on your phone, not too much content which Is understandable considering it’s platform, but if you need a minute or two to pass time in a satisfying way just play this lol (Edit): Been playing the game for a few days now and even got the notification of the announcement of season 1 coming April 1’st. I was wrong about the amount of content for the platform. the content is vast and seemed to have a change in the arena working around the middle arenas of the game. ✓ HAVING A BLAST!!!As a huge fan of the doom franchise I was super excited when this was first announced to hear that we would have a doom game to play in our pockets at all times, and it so far DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! It’s honestly very fun and smooth with only optional ads and minimal bugs. at first I thought there was a lack of stages to play but then I realized just how difficult they get the more you do, and how time consuming they are in a good way, AND how replayable they are cuz you get rewards every single time you beat the same stage, you get more rewards the higher the difficulty but you could just go back to the first stage after beating all of them and you WILL get rewards for beating that stage again. Also the fact that they are adding seasons makes me really excited for the long term enjoyment of this game, cuz I bet ima be playing for a while. HIGHLY RECOMMEND..Version: 1.0.1

✓ Addictive game with a few minor flawsI love this game. It is so addictive that I find myself playing it a few times a day. The soundtrack is awesome, graphics are great, and it runs smoothly on my iPhone 14 pro. First levels are easy enough to get you hooked and wanting more. Eventually the game gets more difficult and you need to improve your tactics and upgrade your gear and weapons. The flaw I find very annoying is when the spinning wheel lands on the same spot every time: minor ability boost. Upgrading weapons and gear is also kind of annoying because you will need to gain the same stuff over and over in order to upgrade. Exchanging crystals, coins, or even gear or weapons you don’t use would we fantastic, but I’m sure the idea is to purchase packages to -surprise!- get the same stuff you don’t need..Version: 1.2.1
✓ Great game, just a very suggestionsI’ve played for a little bit. Really enjoy it. I’ll definitely play it more in the future. I will say that the first boss is a bit too hard. Might be because I’m not the best on mobile controls, but the wavy attacks are kinda too hard to dodge. Maybe if it was a later boss, after the regular Cacodemon has already been introduced? Secondly, I’d like to see my abilities synergies a bit more. Don’t know if it would be too overpowered, but I’d like to see my Spread and Side shot work with the ricochet ability, so all my bullets can bounce off enemies. Aside from that, great stuff. ✓ Almost amazingFor starters, I’m absolutely loving this game. It’s easy to jump in and play. Simple and fun gameplay with loads of weapon/equipment loadouts to experiment with. However, once you get hooked and can’t stop playing, you’ll quickly realize that you are now trapped in an endless cycle of RNG. It is insanely annoying to get weapon and equipment drops that don’t align with my playstyle. I get it, it’s a grind to master this game, but I wish there were a couple options to choose from when claiming rewards or opening loot crates. I get excited every time I unlock one only to find yet another common pair of boots waiting for me. Most players will most likely give up on the game because the grind for garbage loot drops makes the game stale. I wouldn’t mind the grind as much if it weren’t for the……you guessed it! The ADs. They are solely responsible for the loss of a star. Especially now with a recent update, the ads force you to click to open the App Store so you can close it and then wait ANOTHER 5 seconds to finally get back to the game. I would gladly pay for an ad free version instead of watching ads about royal match. I’m pretty sure the doom franchise could do without the extra cash from the ads..Version: 1.8.0
✓ What a game!I was hooked for hours! Great game, haven’t seen any forceful ads yet, super interesting progression, loads of fun. Big fan of a Doom Eternal, finished it long time ago and this brings back good memories:) was looking for something that can be as addictive as subway surfers and I found it. It’s a bit challenging in the beginning but later when I get a rip of it, it’s just pure fun. ✓ Bethesda Rules!!Playing Starfield on the Xbox and this on my mobile plus played most of their titles from Skyrim to Fallout and Prey to Dishonoured. This is a very addictive game. Looks identical to Archero if anyone has played it but prefer this over it. Contains all the beasties from the Doom and Doom Eternal titles. Not so sure the Imp should of been an end boss for chapter 1 tho seeings it's the basic enemy in the Doom titles. Definitely worthy of a download if your a Bethesda or Doom fan..Version: 1.7.1
✓ I don’t leave a lot of app reviews but……this is a pretty fun game. The greatest thing I have to say about this game is it has NO ADS! No ads, and it runs smoothly, granted it takes a lot of battery life. Mighty Doom is basically the same game as something like Archero. I didn’t realize this going into the app, so it felt somewhat unoriginal starting out. I like the gear upgrade system, easy to understand, easy to upgrade. One thing I will say is I wished there was an option to smelt trash gear down into coins. All in all it’s a doom rendition of games of similar playstyle. ✓ Great game but not very originalI feel that this is a great game especially for fans of the doom franchise or anyone who just likes quick and fun mobile games. The game itself is very well done in my opinion and the different armor customization and abilities is unique from other similar games like archer io. My biggest critique is that the gameplay is not very original and ends up playing a lot like the aforementioned archer io. The reason I gave this game five stars is because of the unique armor and weapon customization paired with the armor and weapon skins. I also like how they incorporated glory kills into the game. From what I have played so far everything seems fairly balanced and the music is not to shabby. ✓ Could easily be made betterI’ve been playing this for a couple weeks now and have some strong opinions on the game. Starting with what I like about Mighty Doom, the controls and overlay are quite simple and easy to use, I like the system for upgrading gear (you can downgrade your current gear in exchange for the coins you spent on it), the graphics are nice and it mostly runs smoothly. The overall gameplay and mechanics are enjoyable and entertaining. The theme is instantly recognizable as Doom. Now for the drawbacks, the biggest issue is the lack of glory kills (the main way you get health) in the campaign mode. This isn’t an issue for event modes but I’ve noticed in the main levels you can go for multiple stages without a single glory kill which gets incredibly frustrating, and the in game upgrades that say they increase glory kill chances don’t show any change to this infrequency. The game is also quite pay to win but I expect that with mobile games. It’s not a huge issue because there’s no multiplayer. One final issue I have is with the amount of annoying stage components that deal damage such as spikes and shooters that shoot projectiles. These are just a nuisance and don’t add anything to the level. In conclusion, I probably wouldn’t play this game if it wasn’t Doom themed and I hope the developers fix some of the most annoying mechanics (glory kills). ✓ Good game but nekravol is so hard for no reasonI’ve been enjoying this game so far it’s been a mildly infuriating game but that’s what’s doom games are about. Nekravol on the other hand, is extremely difficult. From being dead in five hits to too many things on screen to even dodge. I have been spending every in game penny on upgrading my gear and still can’t get past this level. Update: 2 days after writing this review I completed nekravol but I would still make this level a tad easier for new players to not have the same problem..Version: 1.0.1
✓ Needs more daily events and pvpI really like this game. Reminds me of a almost better version of a game I used to play. Only you could do a lot more on the other game. Here is a few things I would like to know about. If still in updating process of other game modes. Or if it’s just a play 20 minute and be done for 5 hours😂 First, it’s hard to upgrade gear. Maybe let commons drop on normal runs? Can only get in chests. 2. Needs more daily event levels. And possibly pvp, endless dungeon for armor weapons money or gems. Maybe even a cooperative dungeon. All in all, it’s a fun game but I am done with quests after 20 mins😂 can’t beat my current level which is 6 without upgrading tier on my weapons. ✓ My Fav Mobile Game of 2023When I first saw the teaser trailer, I didn’t think it would work but it did. Mighty DOOM is a blast! The game works great, the UI is easy to navigate, and the challenges are tough but fair. The ads don’t get in the way and neither does the microtransaction. I love it. The only criticism I have is the inventory system. Having too many of the same weapons in the inventory slot can be messy and confusing to look at. It’s hard to tell which one you have upgraded and which one are still level 1. The team at Alpha Dog Games need to figure out a better way to present the weapons more efficiently. Aside from that, great job! Looking forward to more updates. May I suggest adding some elements from DOOM 3? That’s my fav in the series..Version: 1.1.1

Like I mean the controller works but devs need to make away to change orientation to fit the iPhone screen or change the direction of the physical analog so it can be played in portrait mode I hope this review does not go unnoticed please update that to the game. I would love to used actual thumb stick. Like also change orientation to run portrait mode side ways with controller support. That would be great also if that’s possible. Oh I really like how the game covers the screen. Just need a more controller option where you could move the digital analog to bottom right in portrait mode that way, the game would easily be played in landscape and during landscape, you can see further ahead. With out a controller. Or if you attach a physical controller and play in portrait mode The left analog stick can be use to move doom guy around and maybe the d-pad is for switching weapons (secondary button) or in landscape, the secondary button becomes (A) button..Version: 1.0.1
✓ (Generic good Review name!)I think Mighty Doom is fun (even if it’s mostly archerio) because you don’t need to buy stuff to play it and while I am stuck at exultia as of now, I’ve been upgrading my gear and doing events to get coins and all those goodies. I wish you could do more challenges a day but it’s alright. It seems some people have gotten glitched but I haven’t gotten any. I have enjoyed the season 1 battle pass and if I complete it I might maybe buy the full pass to get the other rewards since I’ll get lots of gear and equipment. On the topic of that, even when you play the game a lot equipment is hard to get. You never really get from anything but the crates or very rarely events. So fusing is a very uncommon thing. The battle pass and seasonal challenges add another thing to do in the game which is nice. If the devs see this (Bethesda or the other people (i forgor name sorry)) could you add some multiplayer aspect? Like you could have accounts and friends where you can team up and take on DUO EVENTS that are like 60 stages long and need 2 players. And if you don’t have friends you can tackle it solo with a robo slayer to help! That’s just an idea. Good game!.Version: 1.0.1
✓ Great fun… but…I’ve been really enjoying this for about a month now, even bought the season pass and one of the mini slayers. As much as I love the game, the loot table is a bit too broad and weapon/armour drops are so infrequent. I’ve reached level 9, where the difficulty spikes, and I don’t have a single epic piece of equipment or weapon, it all just takes too long to improve. If they can tweak a few things with progress and equipment, this would be a great, 5* game. Also, I maxed out the 35-stage season pass and was told that getting go 36 onwards I’d receive “prestige awards”… got to 36 and received…. 15 gems. Woo. :-(.Version: 1.0.1
✓ Fantastic game!This is actually my second review, that’s how much I love this game. I very rarely write reviews for games. It is disappointing to see bad reviews on this game just because people want to be at the top when they first play but they actually have to put some effort in. Also the game is new! Less than a week old. There are going to be some bugs to fix but this game is a great way to kill time. I will stick with Mighty Doom for quite a while and can’t wait to see new updates. I have said in my previous review that the energy system needs to be worked on. It takes too long to recharge in my opinion and you don’t get enough. Maybe give us more or reduce recharge time. ✓ Some tips on how to make the game more funThis game is fun i do love it as its doom and i get to still kill demons but i would like to add somethings that may make it better 1- more glory kills: it would be fun to get different glory kills on each enemy like on doom eternal and 2016 2- balancing: i recently beated doom hutner base part 2 and it took me 1-2 months to beat it because i constantly had to do events and grind a bit maybe yall could nerf the enemies? or make the doom hunter do less damage it would help alot of players 3- cheaper weapon and equipment crates/0.99$ products: if you could please make weapon and equipment crates cheaper that would be the best of help to like 50 crystals for equipment and 70 for weapon? and last but not least 4-more energy: honestly we should have more energy and maybe you can do a system like every 5 levels you get 1 extra energy and you would have to change the levels to 75 but we souls get 3 extra games and that would be great as those 3 extra games could go into events and the rest could go into the main game but thats all just ideas that may could be added but its whatever anyways great game just need balancing i wasnt joking about that..Version: 1.2.1
✓ A great game with some weirdnessA very good mobile doom spinoff. There are a few other games with the same base gameplay however Mighty Doom adds extra layers of complexity with damage types, secondary and ultimate weapon slots to name the most notable. This doesn’t mean the game is PERFECT however, there are a few noticeable difficulty jumps that can be difficult to overcome at first until you learn how each enemy works (the first of these being level 3, where the mecha demons’ attacks feel slightly off at first) as well as a few odd things that I’ve noticed such as the rocket launcher instantly exploding in some corners of the maps (not often mind you but it means you have to wait for the cool-down before you can use it again), a weird orange mis coloured polygon on one of the default skins shoulders, as well as the Cacodemon’s blood NOT BEING BLUE like it is in every other doom title (Aracnotron’s blood is blue though as seen on the loading screen) most of these issues can most likely be easily fixed in future updates Overall great game with not a whole lot wrong with it outside of some developer oversights! ✓ Good fun but no endgame challengeTheres much fun to enjoy with the game until you’ve finished the current content. After you’ve beaten the current stages all you can do is replay them or the daily missions. Theres no way to adjust the difficulty level, so your gear just gets better and the levels become less challenging. Would be great if there was something like horde mode on pc, or some sort of endless wave mode. Some fan favorite enemies aren’t in there yet either eg Arachnotrons and Cyberdemons but would be cool additions at some point. Also would love if I could just pay a dollar or two to get rid of ads..Version: 0.14.2

✓ Pretty fun for a whileThis game is pretty fun for a while. Sadly, there is too much useless equipment and drop rates are too low. And you need 3 identical items to get one of the next level - totally of 81 commons for a legendary. I have completed every daily and seasonal mission and every daily event for 2 months and am barely 1/3 of the way to any legendary (I have 7 epics, one bought with cash, 2 with 2400 gems via chests. none duplicated) Level scaling is so high that it’s hard to get anywhere without spending money to guarantee useful equipment. ✓ Violent silly brutality - a fun little romp so far!Let’s get this out of the way: Yes. This game wants your money. It’s a typical free to play mobile experience with all the trappings. Once you accept that and just have fun with what it offers, it’s actually delightful. I love Doom. I’ve played it since I was a kid back in the nineties and all kinds of .wads and mods and it’s just a big part of my gaming history. So for me, this is basically a fun time spender, that I have not payed a dime for, wrapped in a comforting and very familiar package. You run around little rooms, avoid traps and shots, and your little slayer murders all those disturbingly adorable little demons. Its got a bit of that autofiring roguelite thing that I love, so you get to upgrade your stats and do crazy things to your weapons until the demons are all thoroughly dead. Or you are. As long as you accept it for what it brings, you’ll have fun. So far it hasn’t felt like I’ve needed to spend money to win. They do give you free things for achievements or daily things, so even if you’re like me and have no money to spare, you’ll do fine. If you love doom, give it a shot. ✓ Enemy Targeting Logics (my honest suggestion please read)It’s a great game and I love it, but I hope there is a firing logic toggle for weapons. Since this is an auto-firing game play, there is not much we can do to intervene the slayer’s targeting choices. I figure the current logic is “whoever closer to the slayer will be fired upon first”. This logic works great with close range weapons like shotguns, but it’s kinda annoying for ranged weapons like rifles; there are times that we wish to take out sniper enemies at distance before others, but we cannot do that under such fixed logic. Some times we would have a long range main weapon plus a short range secondary weapon such as “heavy cannon + super shotgun”, or the other way around like “combat shotgun + gauss cannon”. So you can see the targeting logic could work differently for different types of weapons I just wish there could be a button to toggle the firing options like “low health enemy first” or “sniper enemies first” or “small enemies first” or “large enemy first” etc and etc..Version: 1.0.1
✓ Amazing!This game is amazing! I have not found a single issue yet. One of my favorite features is the perks. One game I had bullets coming out of all of the sides of my gun bounce through enemies and of the walls making about 15 bullets parading through the room! I have 1 suggestion. I would add a story mode or a multiplayer mode where you either team up for tougher battle or brawl it out in a 1v1! Naturally I think that would have to come with a friends system. Was a bit dubious when I first saw Mighty Doom, with it being a top shooter format on mobile, whether it would be true to the Doom franchise I have spent many a happy and challenging hours playing. I was not disappointed when I decided to download it and give it a try. First of all it was free to get and even better no adverts playing every time you die or do upgrade etc. There is something things in the game which you can purchase if you wish to speed certain aspects of the game for upgrading weapons and other things but you are not forced to do this to progress through game if you are willing to persevere and spend a little time replaying the levels and game, which is no great loss. Superb graphics, great gameplay and a ton of items, weapons to unlock and upgrade to progress you through this levels and bosses. If you are fan of the Doom franchise, or even if you are not. Download it now and give it a try, you will not be disappointed. Well done Bethesda and ID you really have done the franchise justice with this beautiful produce top shooter Mighty Doom. ✓ Stupidly simple, Addictively fun.While the pitfalls of a mobile game are readily apparent, Mighty DOOM’s simple one handed control scheme makes it easier for your mighty Mini Slayer to run past attacks, laying increasingly frenetic and powerful attacks of his own on the hordes of demons standing in his way. The hardcore soundtrack and demon killing gameplay still ring true to the DOOM you probably know and love, but Mighty DOOM offers a different experience, but one that doesn’t desecrate the core experience too much. Whether it’s worth your money, that’s for you to decide… but it’s at the very least worth a try. In general, as a video game, I’d give it an 8/10, only really knocked down by microtransactions and some time limits on the amount you can play before you have to either refill your counter with real money, or just wait it out. On the plus side, at least that wait timer gives you some ample time to hop back into DOOM Eternal, or one of the mobile DOOM ports, or even just boot up your dinosaur of a DOS PC or 90s console and indulge in the classic demon killing goodness that brings us to this wonderful series in the first place. ✓ Pretty great mobile doom spinoffAs a huge fan of all of the doom games, this was a must for me to download. The gameplay is great, and is exactly as advertised. So far I haven’t had any ad forced onto me and I have completed chapter 1, so that is a hug positive. The only complaint I have about it is the music. The songs are remixed versions of the songs we know and love from doom 2016 and eternal, but they have a big focus on electronic sounds. ✓ HELPI’m actually really enjoying the game, until I got to nekroval, I have been stuck on this level for a week and a half now, I’ve played every day for said week and a half just to upgrade my gear constantly, bought the battle pass, have done every event, been grinding constantly, changed weapons and seems absolutely impossible to beat. The first 2 boss battles I can get past but once you get to the prowler it’s impossible to get past his multiple attacks with his clones without either losing all health and having to reboot or having very little health, then the next 10 stages are basically a rat race just to survive, and even if you survive that good luck with the last boss the mancubus. ✓ Keeps me coming backThis is my go to game on mobile. I find the pace and run times are finely tuned to not get dull. The artwork and animations are morbid, satisfying and captivating to view while I’m stomping all over hellspawn. Updates and themes constantly change to keep it fresh and up to date with whatever holiday is happening. Alpha Dog was the right studio to take doom mobile and make gameplay intuitive enough that my 3 year old is able to figure out how to navigate the controls if I leave my phone out while keeping it fun enough that I keep coming back. Gameplay, Audio, Level design all mix well. Microtransactions come at you from all over but does not seem to hinder gameplay or the grind for gear, although gear sets that come in 3 are hard to come by and level up. I’m sure Carmack and especially Romero are pleased to see a variation of Doom succeeding on mobile..Version: 1.7.1
✓ Decent game lacks the rewarding sense of the grind at timesTl;dr this game is decent but needs quality upgrades to survive I find myself at need of materials very often and with the energy count being what it is I can sometimes only get one or two upgrades per a session which is a little slow when I haven’t been able to complete stage five for quite some time. There isn’t a lot of availability with fire damage when it comes to countering certain boss enemies (the wraith I believe is what I’m having trouble with) Also I do believe that we should have career quests with rewards, like hitting level 25 gives you 100 gems or something Leveling up a shotgun to 40 gives you the same color rarity type of thing The log in rewards are a little stale I would almost prefer just mass amounts of the upgrade tokens that you use for everything or more doom guy upgrade tokens would be nice. Giving us more rounds on the bonus levels would be nice. I also experience bugs sometimes when I try to use ads to revive It’ll say ad not received and then won’t let me use my crystals afterwards which leads to a loss of a level which is frustrating when there was a chance of preventing it Maybe a grade system like you get an S rank for only getting hit a few times and finishing quickly with descaling ranks that impact rewards/loot.Version: 1.0.1
✓ Enjoying it so far!I really enjoy the DOOM series so I was stoked to hear they were releasing Mighty DOOM. So far, I really enjoy it. The gameplay is fast-paced and pretty challenging! Unlike most mobile games, Mighty DOOM does not have annoying pop up ads and you can choose to watch ads to revive, or for crates and coins. I love the art style and models for this game! The cacodemon and the mini Slayer are so adorable!!! I love how they used the toys from DOOM Eternal and even added some demons and weapons from 2016!!! I do have some complaints though. One, there is an annoying glitch where the Slayer gets stuck in an arena after finishing it, you can’t move him at all so you can teleport to the next arena. This has been happening to me in the events. Closing the games solves this because you can continue where you left off but it’s REALLY aggravating. Pls fix!!! Second, the energy system is not the best… It is too limited. 10 minutes for 1 energy is a bit ridiculous!!!! Maybe limit to >5 minutes per energy? The seraphim offers are a bit… trash though. ✓ Great game!..butOnly thing is the bosses need better scaling and on iOS when you minimize the game and go back to resume your session there’s a really annoying thing that happens. If you don’t pass the level by advancing to the next area BEFORE you minimize the game (even if you kill all the enemies) when you resume your session it will make your redo that level. However, if the same thing happens except rather than killing all the enemies, you die, quickly minimize the game then try to relaunch to see if it does the same it doesn’t. Your game ends. This happened to me on the final raid boss of level 4-30. I killed him but didn't advance to the next area before I minimized the game and went back to a fully healed boss and died the second go ruining my run. That’s very annoying and makes someone want to quit when there’s load/ save issues..Version: 1.2.1

✓ Rip and Tear!I’ve not been a huge fan of ‘Top down’ games but, having played Doom since it first emerged in the 90s, I had to give this one a go… and I have to say I’m not disappointed. There are some reviews that complain about the difficult game play. All I can say is they’re not playing the game right! To those that are complaining about it being a cash cow… you’re not playing it right! I haven’t spent a penny on this… just been patient with the daily rewards, replayed levels to earn more currency and crystalsin order to upgrade. It’s a welcome change not to be bombarded with adverts after every stage of a level or in order to progress. Yes, the options are there for you to choose, but it’s not a requirement and it certainly doesn’t hinder gameplay. The variety of weapons and gear is awesome and its a question of upgrading the right gear that gets results. I’ve played it every day from launch and have only just got to Level 7 through perseverance and determination! Personally I’m finding the Plasma Rifle, Rocket Launcher and Crucible Sword give the best results, but the trick is to upgrade as and when you can. Beating Bosses is best performed by keeping behind them and throwing everything at them, swapping between all weapons as and when available. Looking forward to the next three levels and game completion. Well done Bethesda and iD - I hope there will be other incarnations of this to come!.Version: 1.0.1
✓ Fun mobile Doom rompIt’s fun, but a couple of gripes: The final level difficulty is turned up too much compared to second last level. I understand the impetus to try and make people buy things with MTX, but this won’t make me buy things. Rocket launcher has an annoying bug where the projectile explodes on the corner of brick immediately after it’s discharged. Especially prevalent if fired from the starting position of each level. The best part is there’s no pay to win aspect. Perhaps you could implement better explanations of upgrades when you press the “i” button. Currently, all they do is say the name of the upgrade with extra words. I think adding some numbers into it would really help with understanding what upgrades are actually worth it. Some of them like bounce obviously don’t need them, but ones like the attack speed bonus or glory kill rage don’t give any numbers which could absolutely help. Plus it’d help with deciding which seraphim offers are good for you or not. Besides all that, it’s still an utterly fantastic game, with a lot of fun throughout..Version: 1.0.1
✓ Amazing, please fix energy system5 stars because the game itself is incredible. Really sticks true to the doom franchise and the whole idea of rip and tear action and constant movement being critical for survival. I just think the energy system is stupid. I hope upgrading and leveling up rewards with enough crystals that the game doesn’t become pay to play, because that would ruin it. If I could point out one thing, it would be to please get rid of the limited energy system. Bethesda has never been about pay to play, they always create honest and fulfilling game experiences. ✓ RIP and TEAR !!!!That feeling of sweating and destroying demons in doom 2016 and doom eternal you get that feeling when playing this ! I loved playing this game from the beginning it just makes you wanna play more and more . Haven’t spent a single penny and I don’t feel like I need to so long as you play enough . It’s not a game of upgrading stuff enough to beat the level there is genuine skill needed such as avoiding attacks , traps and how to beat defeat each boss. Only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is largely cus of energy , I think the capacity should be higher in some context or at least the cool-down is reduced . Maybe energy is replenished if you level up for example . This game is fantastic . BTW loved the boss on the event , shooting ketchup and mustard , tasty XD.Version: 1.2.1

✓ Pleasantly Surprised!I wasn’t thinking much when I was following the release date of this game as usually the mobile versions of games are not great but I was surprised that I really enjoyed my first time playing mighty DOOM. The gameplay is very simple for beginners and great to see yourself get better when learning the bosses attack patterns etc. I hate using joy stick controls but I would say it’s not too bad in this game as the joy stick is not static to one place to give you more visuals. Levelling your slayer is cool, different skins with added abilities and the usual guns from the DOOM series. The problem I have is the pay to win factor (I know this is in EVERY mobile game). Buying packs to level your slayer, guns etc which is where I can see the more you get further into the game the more pay to win it will become as difficulty increases. ✓ Great game but could be betterAfter playing this game for a while I have to say that I love it. I have a few criticisms though. Having only 20 energy with every mission, including events cost 5 energy to play is a bit much. 30 gems to get only 5 energy with few ways to get good amounts of gems without paying is also annoying for someone who is going f2p. 15 gems for a single revive is also a bit costly. For a game like this, energy refills on level up is a MUST and I think it should be implemented asap. I also think that every 5 level ups or so, you should get a max energy increase. Every 5 character levels you get 5 additional energy. I also think that more missions need to be added because I want to be able to play more once I finish the main missions currently available in the game. Outside of that, other complaints about the game getting old once you get past the doom ip are just opinions. ✓ Absolute treat on IPad ProNew to the games on iPads and phones, needed something to pass the time while I move from the UK to America, a long time fan and customer of Doom games in general and the Wolfenstein franchise. If you want a quick pick up and go fun game I definitely recommend, was pleasantly surprised at the visuals and ease of use on the iPad wether you’re a noob or seasoned player, the game is easy to pick up. Seeing the different enemies in the art style they’ve done is really something. If they’ve taken their time to create something for not only myself but for others to enjoy, leaving a review is the least I can do. For the devs I would love to see a multiplayer even if it’s local between iPads and phones or a horde mode as marine or low level demon as I know doom guy is the main character. ✓ Another solid entry in the doom franchiseOnce again doom releases another solid game but this time on iPhone it’s got solid gameplay which is incredibly smooth it also works perfectly with a ps4 or ps5 controller very few and non invasive advertisements and it doesn’t force micro transactions on you whilst also looking great. The only minuscule issue I can think of is still needing to use energy for each run after I’ve spent £25 on in game items I think needing to use energy to do another run should be removed after spending money in game.Version: 1.0.1

✓ Glitching RecentlyStill giving it a five star review cuz I’m loving this game. But recently been getting a couple game breaking glitches. In the middle of a game I go to switch to my RPG, the game glitches and it won’t fire, I can’t switch back to my shotgun and I just wander around until I die. It’s happened about three or four times in the past few days. Also in a one time occurrence, I went to the next level and the screen turned black. The game was still running and I could still hear the sound effects and music. I closed the game, restarted, and resumed where I left off and still had the black screen. ✓ BaldingI have a problem. My Dad really like this game. He like it so much that he gets no sleep. One time he was playing this on the toilet but he got so distracted that he forgot to pull down his pants, and in doing so he pooped his pants. But those are nothing compared to what is happening now. For the past two months he has been balding from playing this game. When we first noticed this balding problem, we went to the docter to check it out. Apparently if you are on a screen for more then 76 hours a week you can get a rare dissease called “Screen Balding”. This diseasse is so rare that only 4% of the human population has this diseasse. The only way to stop this balding issue is to not look at a single screen for 5 months. ✓ Dangerously AddictiveNormally i dont write reviews on mobile games, but this game deserves all the praise. I am surprised by the quality of the game, everything you need in a casual time killer is in this game. there’s so many options for playing, and there’s a ton of weapons from the real Doom game that it makes every run a little different from your last. Not only is it packed with content, but its also surprisingly balanced so far, there isn’t really much of a pay to win system that you see in many other games. There is equipment and power ups that you can buy, but the game supplies you with enough “gems” that if you play consistently enough, you dont really need to pay. Another thing is that there is no ads in between gameplay or every 5 minutes, there are occasional ads which the game gives as optional for the player to choose in order to gain some Xp or get a respawn, its such a breath of relief. Overall this game was crafted almost perfectly, my only gripe is that it needs a constant online connection, which is mostly just a nitpick if we’re being honest..Version: 1.0.0
