Needs workI installed this app on my Mini hoping that it would behave better than the web version, but ran into the same issues. The volume level I select while playing a card tends to set lower than the system volume, but is not stored in cookies or remembered for future cards, so that every card starts out BOOMing music at me as I scramble for the mute button and apologize to otheres nearby. Even worse is the app's ability to continue playing music long after the card is closed with the X button and the back arrow is clicked. No way to find the pause or stop button, if it still exists. I even tried to play another card, but the music would not stop until I closed the app. It's outta here!.Version: 1.0.2

WARNING!!! App does not work properly!Problem with ecard display on Apple devices running iOS 15 or above We are aware of a problem with ecards not displaying correctly on Apple devices running iOS version 15 and above. On these devices the audio plays correctly but the video does not display at all. The card will play normally if you do one of the following: fast forward the video then replay the card skip to end, then replay the card Our technical team are working to find a solution. However we understand that this error is affecting many other websites which use video, and it appears to have been caused by the recent iOS update, so we are hopeful that a further iOS update will fix the error quickly. THIS PROBLEM FIRST APPEARED IN SEPTEMBER! Apple will not issue refunds if your app is over 3 months old! I purchased my app in May and this problem occurred 4 months later! DO NOT PURCHASE! Apple does not stand behind their apps!.Version: 1.0.2

Website problemsHave just recently renewed my subscription and on the JL website I have used for years I have have having failures in sending e-cards. Once the message has been done I go to send expecting the page for selecting the address however it defaults back to the blank message page. Message lost. Several times so frustrating. I downloaded the App and seems to work although I do prefer the website with which I am familiar. Disappointing after all these years of use. RMA.Version: 1.0.4

Christmas cardsThe cards are lovely but I had great difficulties in including a message. A simple sentence, “Hugs, Anne & John only shows as”Hugs, Anne”. This has never happened before. Anne.Version: 1.0.6

Message cardI am very disappointed in the way the message is printed. Where one is addressing the message to two people, you have separated one of the names and pushed it down to the beginning of the message, you have omitted an apostrophe and also a space . I rewrote the message 3 times , but it kept coming back the same way. If these errors continue, I will be cancelling my account..Version: 1.0.6

Old fashionedI have subscribed to JL for several years, but I don’t think I’m going to renew. I’m finding the cards old fashioned and uninspiring now. It’s rare that anything new comes along and the collection is looking dated and rooted in the 1990’s. This is compounded by videos that are slow to load in the app and don’t play correctly. JL say this was fixed in IOS 15.1. It wasn’t. And where is my address book?! I’ve searched everywhere without success, and their help pages don’t allow me to search for the topic. It’s all a bit early days of the internet. Get yourselves a decent IT person!.Version: 1.0.2

JL e-cards keep on getting betterAfter years of relying heavily on JL e-cards for my greeting card needs, I am happy to report that the e-cards are not only as good as always, they are getting better eg the new Canadian Thanksgiving one. With so many changes lately which are not for the better, it’s nice to have Jacquie’s artists still at it..Version: 1.0.4

Don’t know what they are doingDon’t touch this e-card site unfortunately they’re unable to get their subscriptions right you can’t cancel you have to contact them and write them a snotty message on help question which I am still waiting for an answer from to cancel my account the site will not allow you to cancel your subscription and neither will the app on updated phone there is no cancellation button on Subscriptions which they try and tell you there is in the helpdesk just watch yourself beautiful cards but they’re not worth The hassle.Version: 1.0.4

Love Nature !Loving the different natures and designs of these e-cards. Especially, the Birds of Paradise. I wish you can have something more like this soon. Also appreciate the classical music. Perhaps you can include Toselli Serenade and Lake Como by Richard Abel. Their wonderful relaxing music. Or even the theme from Somewhere in Time by John Barry..Version: 1.0.6

MisleadingI was looking for a simple notecard to send to a friend. I remembered that online companies like Blue Mountain would offer a limited collection of assorted cards/notecards in hopes that you’d join. At this time I am not looking to spend $30+ a month for e-cards. I don’t send enough cards in a year with the expectation of the Holidays. Which brings me to another issue. There were no cards in any categories that I could find celebrating Jewish Holidays?? I was very disappointed. I have been on the receiving end of these cards/notes and I can say wholeheartedly that they are beautiful! I felt like the person sending the card really cared about me to be sending something so different than what I have seen before..Version: 1.0.6

Writing a messageWhat happened to the ability to write a message an edit it for appearance? I tried to write messages on 2 cards just now and I couldn’t get a new line to start. Everything ran together and it didn’t look nice. I like to space my writing out, centred in the message space, and with new lines where I choose to put them, not where the software decides the lines should begin. I think things changed when you upgraded your system. I loved the Advent Calendar (my 5 year old grandson played every day) but I’m not very happy with writing cards now. I used to spend time editing and previewing my messages, but now I don’t think it’s worth it. I’m sorry to see such a great product changed for the worse..Version: 1.0.6

InputI find all ur cards are beautiful but frustrated you dony have a category just for weddings and just showers etc. lumping all sorts of cards together is time consuming and awful. Also there is nothing funny/humorous with ur cards and a lot of US stuff. What about Canadian stuff?? Also everything is overly feminine. It would b nice to see stuff without girlyness oozing from it. Sometimes florals and teas are perfect but throw in more humour pleaaaase. Thank you for listening..Version: 1.0.6

Bad serviceThere is no support team to reach with a problem. I sent about 7 today. People I’ve sent to before. NONE have arrived. Same thing yesterday. I want to reach real people, not faq. I love the cards but that means nothing if no one gets them..Version: 1.0.6

The cards are wonderful, the website is clunkyI am in the UK on Apple equipment and I find it very frustrating to use this website because it just doesn't work the way it's supposed to work. Today I am getting an audio description with each card. I can find no mention of why this is happening. The questions and answers section does not address it and there seems to be no way to access a live chat or which is not helpful since today is the birthday. My current strategy is to try sending the card to myself to see if the audio description turns off when the card is received. I hope that Jackie Lawson will think of their UK customers and their Apple customers and sort the website out..Version: 1.0.4

Part PreviewThe ‘Preview Card’ feature shows only part of the message. I didn’t want to send only part messages yesterday so I didn’t send out these cards. Today my husband got me to send a card with a complete message from me. Again the Preview only showed part of my message BUT he received the whole message. The Preview Feature needs to be sorted to show the whole message..Version: 1.0.6
