✓ Jewel 😵‍💫Items too hard to find and this became frustrating instead of fun. Constantly being asked to buy stuff to progress is annoying and hate the jewel match parts of the game which sadly you can’t avoid. Game makers stop adding the “ jewel “ match into games! ✓ PriceyI like the conceptual design, set in the time of the Golden Age of France, musketeers, peasants and aristocracy. I enjoy this game but find it is forever flashing signs and asking me to buy game aids is really irritating. It’s an expensive game, help items can only be purchased with crystals you have to buy with real money. The puzzles are challenging, and keep me on my toes, but what I also find frustrating is the flashing items, it distracts me and I lose momentum and time and don’t succeed in solving a puzzle. I play other games by G5, and prefer the option of earning game coins to purchase tools to help solve problems, rather than having to spend real money all the time. The puzzles are good, finding objects. Finding differences between 2 pictures, jumbled words, and disappearing words.my main problem is I take the exception that some of the graphics look nothing like what they are supposed to represent. The outline shapes bear no relation to the actual object and it’s so obvious that the game designers have no English or such a rudimentary basis for naming objects, I have to work through the puzzle and usually end paying to find out what an object is.. It’s so easy to run out of time and money. Could be great but still some bugs to sort out. The story line is quite simplistic as well, I often ignore this as it doesn’t really drive the game. Also there are few guides to finding tools and being able to use them. An introduction to using some of the problem solving tools would be extremely helpful. I play on an iPad Pro and find the scenes do not fit on my screen, I have to slide either sideways or vertically to see the scene, which is a pain..InverdonVersion: 1.7.600

✓ OverviewI agree with a lot of the comments in the reviews. Some objects are so small they are very hard to find in the time allowed. My particular gripe, at the moment, is with the game centred on the ‘Tavern’. To complete a ‘set’ I need one more drum and I have played the scene 27 times without getting one. I understand that some pieces are harder to find than others but that is ridiculous. Also I need one more piece to be able to unlock the observatory. When I click on search it sends me to the ‘other world’ and then tells me to go back again but doesn’t offer a scene to do to get the piece. ✓ Potential for great game, but p2p(pay to play)This is another creative and challenging hidden object game by G5. Unfortunately, the market scene is match-3 and impossible to make any real progress in it without boosters. It’s also rather obvious that the coded algorithms for it decide when you will win (which I loathe and is common in other games I play-Homescapes and their newer manor matters). When they decide that you’ve spent real money and can afford the in-game currency for purchase of boosters for the match-3, and actually use at least one booster, “magically” other boosters appear from other pieces finding their places (eyeroll lol!) However, when no booster is used, the pieces align with near impossible matching options to actually beat the level. I also do NOT like that boosters are NOT created whenever other pieces are in chains! Wth??!! And I’m quite sure that each level of the market scene only allots 25 moves no matter the objective(s) indicated! Wth??!! The market level also cannot be accessed in the ‘other world!’ Wth??!! So any supposedly special items that one is led to believe will be found in the other world is off limits for this scene (I haven’t seem to find many significant special items in searching the other world, but I’m only on level 18) There’s also the issue of only one search location having a required item for creating the whole of a quest collection. And of course the market has at least one of these that must be obtained. Granted G5 does give quite a lot of in-game currency at first in hopes of getting one ‘addicted’ to the game that they ultimately resort to spend real money to keep playing at a reasonable pace for the duration of a lifetime lol. I used this in-game currency to buy boosters for the market level but won’t be buying anymore with real money. Also, compared to the few other games I play by different creators, G5 does NOT have what I would consider ‘good deals’ for purchase options. I’m also currently playing their match-3 Hawaii mansion renovation game and the same applies for these so-called deals. They must be doing something right though to keep offering them at the same ridiculous prices, and not that I can justify a $0.99 or $1.99 purchase that I make occasionally, but these $5 and $10 offers are ludicrous for a handful of in-game tools imo. Anyways, I’ll probably play occasionally here and there because the energy does replenish somewhat quickly at least compared to their Hidden City game which is like days long! Oh and I also don’t like that the majority of in-game items for purchase with in-game currency are only available for rubies, not coins (which of course this is what one has the most of without spending real money!) And the market scene alone will prevent me from progressing and hence continuing to play. I do NOT like it that much because it’s not challenging but impossible and just not fun. And for G5, I do love most of your games and wish I had more time to play them. The graphics are superb and the stories are very creative overall. I’d love to see you come out with an undersea or underwater game perhaps mer-people based or mythical or intertwined!!! ✓ Another money sucking gameAs soon as I realized that this is another object seeking game where you can’t get helpful items from gathering collection (like you can do in Secret Society), I lost my interest and stopped playing. In my opinion this is the worst game, where only 1 out of 100 collection has one magnified glass, and that’s all. You have to buy everything in this game, or you will be stuck forever on Level 6. ✓ Good game but…UPDATE to previous: Developers keep replying the game can be won with no expenditures but if they think trying 25 times just to complete one game and then only if you use the one free gift you get daily is fun they have a different definition of fun. I am deleting and going back to Empires, Sherlock, and Wild West - they are fun and generous with freebies. Gameplay is enjoyable but this is one of the more stingy games of it's genre. It gets hard fast and they don't give anything away. What they charge for what they you give you back in the way of help items is extraordinary. I usually play these games and buy a few charge ups here and there to say thanks for the game, but in this case it will just be play and if I lose go onto the next game and come back another day.
