✓ :(The games fun and all but I kept losing my progress no matter how far I got and when I did lose my progress it took me back to the very beginning. And the 1 builder team makes the game go slower and more difficult to upgrade your university so when you lose your progress it adds onto the anger and disappointment I felt.Version: 1.1.6

✓ It’s okay…At first I really enjoyed this game… but now I’m bored of it. 1. My students don’t even classify for competitions anymore because the highest my humanilities student can’t get over 200 - and this is the same with arts and social studies too! 2. You said in this latest version there would be more class rooms upgrades but I don’t see any. 3. The buildings / classrooms take too long to build/upgrade. 4. My students never have enough time to eat! It takes them forever to get to cafeteria and by the time they get there they are turned away because all the counters are full! They are also always late to classes. 5. There’s no new tasks! I’ve completed all of them. 6. ✓ Do they want you to play the game?I love the tycoon games and really enjoyed this one...at first. But as others have mentioned, once you get to a certain point the game becomes annoying. It takes literally DAYS to upgrade the deans office to increase the amount of money you can make. Then it takes DAYS to do research in order to access new buildings. Then it takes DAYS to build the buildings, and 4-12 HOURS to build one classroom. You get to a point where all you can do is log in for 1 minute a day to do research or start construction...unless you want to spend all of your money trying to hurry things along. What gets me the most is I am someone who will actually pay for games if I think it’s worth it. But paying for gems on this game is pointless because you’ll never have enough of them to make a difference. Sometimes research or building can take days, and you’ll need 500 gems to complete it early. The developers really cheated themselves on this one. Btw, I completed all research and building upgrades but I did not have the patience to upgrade every single classroom too. This is the most pointlessly drawn out game I’ve ever played. ✓ Needs more gardensI have been enjoying this game. Nice mechanics and so on, but all of a sudden my students have gone from really motivated most of the year, to dropping out by droves, even though I lowered course difficulty. I seem to have hit a point where there are not enough gardens and benches for students to rest. I would love to see more leisure spaces added. Perhaps one per additional faculty the player builds? Or one for every two faculties? There does seem to be room on the map..Version: 1.0.4

✓ Needs a lot of changesI’ve completed the game at this point and it’s not worth playing. #1 problem is Competitions and Weekend Book Fair Event - I gave up on competitions because they no longer earn any money. You can have one graduate with 700+ level then the other subjects are only 80 or below.. making the competitions not winnable. Also the book fair has tasks that are about a certain level of graduate and block up the tasks if you’re unable to complete them. I’ve built every upgrade possible and researched everything. There’s nothing left to do but competitions, which earns nothing, and the weekend book fair. So the game is pretty pointless. If you’re looking to waste your time, go ahead and play this game. I wouldn’t give them $1 for how low quality this game play is. The law tycoon game is worse than this one though, so there’s something..Version: 1.1.8.1

And there’s a bug!!!!!!!I have only just downloaded this game but I had it a few years ago so I remembered a little bit of it, but I got into it skipped through the talking at the start, and then it asks you to to assign someone for a competition! So I assigned a person so I tried to click the button that said assign £230 but it didn’t work and it didn’t let me go back! ✓ Time framesI like the idea of this game and it has good game play in the beginning when you have to initially start up; but like the other review, the time it takes to level up buildings and rooms is far far faaaar too long. I’m currently getting waits of 20+ hours to upgrade buildings and it stops game play. Unless you’re willing to spend real money to buy gems…endlessly you are in for a very slow game and progression of your campus. ✓ Great game but glitched outI’ve really enjoyed this game and it’s fun to check on and build up during the day. However, I’m maxing out most of the building and class, also have high level professors, but I’m still getting less than a 100 graduates except for technology and science. I’m not sure if there’s some secret to having high level graduates or just the game not working properly. The event is also glitched out because I can only pick technology and one science student so I can’t even try to complete the other tasks. The last thing that needs to be worked on are the competitions. I’m winning zero competitions even with the high level graduates. I used to win all the time, now none of my students even classify. I’m thinking most of these issues are software problems since I’m maxed on almost everything and can’t do much else..Version: 1.1.5

I found it very fun at the beginning so I purchased the “no ads pack” and expected more fun to come. However, same as what other players reflected, I started to lose interest after I upgraded the dean building to level 3, and found out it’s just a “upgrade one building - wait couple hours - then upgrade another building - wait another couple of hours” cycle. ✓ Horrible tutorialThe tutorial has a significant crack that you can fall thru. I’ve seen other reviews about it dating back and they haven’t fixed it yet. If you don’t maintain 400 you can’t make it though the tutorial. ✓ Brilliant GameHi, I first got this game on my iPad, until it broke (I strongly suspect it was my sister) and I couldn’t play it on my phone (my stupid dad never let me.) I love it, and I managed to get it on my phone (take that, Dad!) But then I couldn’t get on, because I would go in, and then it would just kick me out without loading. This has happened for another game that I like that is made and developed by the same makers of this game. I love both of them, and I was wondering if you could take a look. ✓ Good game EDIT not very good after allEnjoyable game to build stuff BUT I have to ask what’s the point? Even with a fully developed university with teachers in the high 800s/900s I’m lucky to get fourth in a competition. The underlying logic is fatally flawed if you can unassign all the teachers at half your faculties and it makes no difference to your student scores. In fact, nothing does - top library, top teachers, varying the schedule, making the curriculum harder or easier - not a jot of difference does it make. After having played this for 4+ months have deleted it when the same bugs kept re-emerging too (and yes, I have the latest version). Really feel like I’ve wasted my time. The fact that there is no way to create a second build team (I.e. work on more than one task simultaneously) without spending real money means that it quickly becomes unbearably slow—it seems like a deliberate tactic to force committed players to make in-game purchases. As other reviewers have noted, there’s also a glitch in the build-timers, meaning that if you leave the game for short periods of time, builds often don’t progress. ✓ It needs improvementOverall the game is fun. I personally enjoy games that are more long term than games that you can finish in a week. That said, this game is VERY long term, too much in my opinion. The requirement of construction crews for everything really slows down progress in an annoying way. You basically play the waiting game for everything. It would be great if we’re were able to buy at least one more crew for gems or in game cash so you could progress a little faster. Also there are some quality of life things that are annoying too. For example you have to tap on the building and then the room in order to upgrade it then go back in order to tap on another room. You should be able to tap on a different room from the room screen. Also the research tree layout is hard to navigate with having to scroll through branches to get to the ones you can buy. It’s also in a weird order so the subsequent upgrades are in different branches. There are positives though. The graphics are cute and the mechanics in the game are complex without being too complicated.Version: 1.0.1
✓ A great game save for one major bugFor the most part I love this game. I’ve invested money into it and it’s addicting, however, there’s one major bug that I keep running into, and it’s how the timer won’t always move forward if you turn the game off for long periods of time. I set up an eight hour upgrade on the dean’s building, went to sleep by turning off the phone without turning off the app, and when I woke up eight hours later I still had the eight hours remaining, and the same goes for a three hour upgrade I also set up on another building. I have no idea how this could’ve happened, since the game did still deduct eight hours from the remaining time for the current book fair event, but it also didn’t earn any category points! Once again, I love this game, but this bug has prevented me on more than one occasion from playing for a whole day due to long upgrades not processing. Please fix this ASAP! EDIT: After another week of playing, I’ve run into another bug. I tried to use the headhunter to get “the best” professor, but when I pressed the button the game crashed, and upon returning I was still charged 120 gems without getting anything. Again, I love this game, but these bugs are ridiculous. Additionally, this game can get pretty laggy (though it has slightly improved once I turned off all unused apps)..Version: 1.1.3

✓ It’s a good game but...I have played this game for some time but it’s just boring now. Over 2 days to upgrade anything and I forget to even go on it now. That’s far too long to progress in a game. Also for weeks now I haven’t won a single competition for reasons unbeknownst to me. I’ve tried EVERYTHING! I found the very best teachers but because there’s a limit to the building learning limit, their skills don’t make a difference. My students are 100% happy and yet I still don’t win a thing. ✓ Nice app, crappy timersThe gameplay is nice and all but the timers are really bugging me off. I updated the gym into level 2 which costs me 2 hours, I levelled it up at 8PM, I woke up at 4:25 only to find out that my supposed 2hours has 16 minutes left. That is truly bad. It also happened along with the 6 hours that has 10 minutes left for some reason. I hope it will be fixed. (The timers did work nicely during my first day tho). ✓ Good game but has its flawsI really enjoy this game, as I have previous CodiGames. This one just seems to fall behind the others in terms of things to do. I spend about 5 minutes in the game and then have nothing I can do for the next 12 hours while things are upgrading and researching. ✓ Waiting time ruins itI’ve been playing a couple of days and was hooked although it didn’t feel like a typical “idle” game as there seemed lots to do. However like nearly every other review on here I’m at a point where I can’t do anything as I’m upgrading buildings and the wait time is ridiculous! Plus you only get 1 builder unless you’re willing to pay for more. The idle part now seems to be forget the game for a couple of days and then log on to see where construction/research is at. Also, I would add that the ad for this game is quite misleading, as the ad shows the player marking students work which definitely doesn’t happen. It’s a shame really as this started out as a 5* game and I have no issue paying for games I love but I’ve only been playing a couple of days and if I need to pay to progress now what will it be like later on! ✓ Constantly Crashes, Lengthy UpgradesI really enjoyed this game when I first started playing, but like a lot of others have mentioned, as you progress things take forever to build. Some of my upgrades now take more than 3 days to complete, and as there is nothing else to do in the game during this time, there’s no point even opening it. It’s become a game that I spend a few minutes playing, once or maybe twice a week, just so that I can start the next building upgrade. Also, the game constantly crashes - and I mean constantly. Often I can’t open the game for days on end as it crashes every single time I try and open it. I once tried to open the game in excess of 30 times and it crashed every single time. My game is the latest version and my IOS is up to date, so not sure what’s causing this. I often just get fed up and ignore the game for a week or two then try again - usually with the same outcome of constant crashes. Overall, I like the concept of this game, but it’s very buggy and has become boring as there is so little to do unless you are prepared to part with vast amounts of real money. Developers - please fix the crashing so I can actually play the game and give me something to do when I actually do manage to get the game to load!!!.Version: 1.1.7

✓ Wasted opportunityThis game has so much potential to be a really great game but the greed for money is a huge hinderance. This game is nothing but a build, upgrade and wait game. You use the game money to build/upgrade and then you wait for it to finish. There is no other substantive gameplay outside of that. It’s ridiculous that a game based around building things to make progress will only allow players 1 builder. That means you can only build one thing at time unless you use gold. Three builders will cost you real money. Getting better professors will cost you real money unless you wait practically a whole real day (can hinder your school’s progress). The winning formula for any successful game is that if players have fun and enjoy the game, they will be more than willing to pay reasonable prices with real money. It shouldn’t be the other way around in that players have to spend real money in order to have fun playing a game. I have had this game less than 2 days and I’ve already decided to uninstall it. I thought this game was going to be absolutely exciting because I’ve always wanted a tycoon-like university game that I can truly design/customize and not feel limited. ✓ Stuck, can’t do anything and can’t start overI can’t play it anymore. I had started playing it and ran out of money, now when I open it it guides me to participate in a competition which costs money- it won’t let me select anything else on the screen, so I’m just stuck with it not letting me do anything and there’s no way to reset the game to start over, I can’t even access the shop in the game. I first played it for a couple of weeks about a year ago, got stuck with what I described before, tried to offload it and redownload it was still stuck. Now it’s been about a year since and I was thinking that maybe there’d been some kind of an update that would give me the opportunity to fix this and move on playing the game, but it’s still stuck on where it was a year ago. As there is no way I can actually play this game, I cannot give it more than 1 star- I do really enjoy some of the companies other games tho, just wish there was an option to restart progress in this game or at least be able to go to shop to buy something or let me delay the thing it’s wanting me to do right away so I can make some money in the game- but since none of this is possible the game has become unplayable. ✓ Such a DisappointmentPhenomenal game. Love the graphics, easy to understand, and very addictive in the beginning. Like a LOT of other comments the game glitched out which forced me to delete and restart the game. And it is true, I have had the game three days and I can only “upgrade” once or twice a day which makes it a rather boring game. I have found better games that are more rewarding. If you are looking for ways to make the game more engaging. Reduce the “free money” from Ads and allow players to add additional builders for A. Cheaper (not that I pay to play games) B. Using jewels (300 for the first builder increasing by fifty jewels for each additional builder) C. By accomplishing tasks (building the Department of Art, then Department of Sports and so on). I have never had an issue paying for upgrades as the cash is too abundant which increases the frustration of having one builder. And please stop copying and pasting the 1 response you have given. At least have two or three that kinda relate to the review. Otherwise people will not review your product (which you need for improvements). ✓ I’m Stuck in Hot Glue!I began the game and it was fun. Then I couldn’t figure out how do upgrade the generator, so I went bankrupt, and this wasn’t what stopped me. What stopped me was that it was forcing me to enroll in the competition, but I was broke so I couldn’t pay the fee, but it was forcing me to tap it, with no other way out. ✓ Great game, let down by waiting timeI have really enjoyed playing this game, and have done ever since I downloaded it. However, the further I progress and the longer the waiting times get, the more and more put off I become. The format of the game; the competition system and upgrading system is extremely fun to play and this does not make me want to stop playing - the waiting times is what makes me want to stop playing. Anything over 2 hours to me seems excessive and extremely disappointing. I have paid real money for gems a couple of times, however, it is getting to the point where the amount of gems I am buying will not suffice for all of the individual waiting times. If it hadn’t been for the disappointing waiting times I would most definitely rate higher. It is the waiting times that severely disappoint and let this game down. A tutorial usually makes or breaks the game…. and this one sucked. dude stuck around for 10 sentences and then dipped, leaving you to figure everything else out on your own. I’ve found myself multiple times getting super frustrated with the lack of knowledge on how to do certain things, what to do, etc. and then running to the internet for answers. There’s a reason this game has so many links to click on when you google!! Second, game is super glitchy. I have a max capacity of 50 students right? ✓ Good up to a pointIt’s a fun game at the start but once you get to a certain level the game won’t load and crashes. I have almost completed all the buildings but I am lucky if it will load once a day. You might regret spending money on the game if you can’t play. Aside from not being able to play it is a fun game that feels like it is a bit limited and features are missing some upgrades. The wages of works can’t be raised or lowered. Rubbish and broken items in campus should affect reputation. Angry students could hold protests. There could be security guards. Once you get robotics you should be able to upgrade workers to robots. ✓ Agree with the other reviewsI have to agree with the other lower star reviews. I’m a fan of Codigames and have probably played every one of their games but this one... is not it. There really is no strategy other than keeping a balance between building classrooms and leisure activities. This is the type of game where you log in, build and research something that probably takes 3 hours, log out and then log back in later in the day to do it all over again. There’s seriously no point to spend more than 2-4 mins in the game at any given time unless you plan to spend all your gold to upgrade everything and eventually real money to keep it going. If the point of this game is to play the “long game,” then it has succeeded. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a terrible game. Since when was it a good idea to charge real money for construction staff?! ✓ NOT maintained, multiple serious bugsI enjoyed this game for a little bit but it hasn’t been updated in months. I’ve reported multiple bugs that PREVENT PLAY with NO response except “we know” for one bug 8 months ago. First, you cannot do much for the weekend contests anymore because no grads show when you try to assign them to tasks. Thus tasks run slow and you can’t get any meaningful awards because you can’t assign anyone. You cannot do the competitions. Used to be I’d enter grads, pay the fee, and lose because my grads “didn’t qualify” tho they clearly did. Now, I show grads when I look at the contest but NONE when I try to compete. This “no grads showing” for contests and competition started a few weeks ago when they started rotating contest details (instead of bookstore, it was research, etc.). This wasn’t an app update. Lastly, the contests were useful because you could earn points toward mastery faculty search. But most of the prizes like boosts to subjects, do nothing in the game. Building updates and research are really slow (a week for high levels). There’s no rhyme or reason behind schedule changes. There’s no way to increase very low “max learning” levels in sports, humanities, arts. After you reach faculty levels of 800+, Master Search is the only way to get better faculty (happiness, learning level, or reputation). DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS OR OTHER GAMES BY THIS DEVELOPER! ✓ Enjoyable to an ExtentStarting off, this game is great because you get to expand your campus with buildings and other decoration items, but after a while it stagnates and quickly becomes something you check once or twice a day with little noticeable change made. Research and building starts to take multiple days to finish, and when you can only build one thing at a time (without paying extra for additional ‘teams’), interest is lost quickly. Obviously, it’s an idle player game so I do not expect to have constant engagement, but when I can go days without looking at it and then come back feeling as if nothing has changed, it loses appeal. I have also noticed that once you hit a certain milestone in the competitions, you can’t win anymore. Regardless of how good my students are and how low the competition ‘difficulty’ is, I only ever seem to place 4th, if I place at all. Is this a glitch or intentional? ✓ Building Takes FOREVERI kept seeing ads for this game and finally decided to download it. It was really enjoyable for the first few hours of game play, then it just became a waiting game. I open it once, maybe twice a day, upgrade or build something, then I have to wait HOURS before it’s done. They’ve completely rigged this game to where you either wait hours and hours to do literally anything or you spend real money. You can only make a certain amount unless you “research safety cash box” and that takes many hours to complete. You can only upgrade the classrooms and bathrooms so far until you have to wait hours for the whole building to upgrade. And some of the classrooms can take 45 minutes to upgrade. The developers were just extremely greedy with this game. Construction takes way too much time and if you want more than 1 construction worker you have to pay real money for it. Each building has to have new construction to advance any classrooms or bathrooms inside and that can take anywhere from 1-8 hours. ✓ Promising, but a shame.I loved what I could play of this game. It’s promising and I saw it as a portable version of Two Point Campus, in brutal honesty, HOWEVER I got completely and utterly stuck in the tutorial when they ask you to send a student to a competition. For context, I had no money since I was trying to complete objectives before realising there’s an electricity system. I tried to fix it but nothing I did worked. When it came time to do it, I tried to exit the tutorial, click the money to buy but nothing worked. While partially my fault, I wish I’d been introduced to the mechanic sooner and was aware. So essentially, my cash reserves are always full, and I can only play for 5-10 mins at a time because there’s nothing else I can do while an upgrade is in progress. ✓ Really want to enjoy this gameAs a concept, this game is fun! I like being able to set up a university, hire worker, and professors. As others have mentioned the amount of time it takes to upgrade different things makes it frustrating if you aren’t purchasing other workers because you can’t do anything during the time your one thing is upgrading. I must be at the point in the game where there are no new updates because I’ve maxed out nearly everything except the the items that requires the tokens because they are hard to get. Also there are some glitches where it says an upgrade can be purchases but there is no dollar amount. If you click on it, it immediately closes. More recently I can’t even update the game because it immediate crashes when it opens. It will also say I’m operating at a deficit, however a minute later it’s making a profit with no changes. ✓ AverageNow that I’ve played for quite a long time, I’ll update my review. Artwork is nice and there are lots of things that you can upgrade. An added bonus is that almost all of the upgrades have a visual impact. The one issue I have is that you earn cash so fast and you can’t use it half the time because you only have 1 builder. It makes your cash/hr income feel useless. I’d like to have the ability to unlock a 2nd builder by completing a task or researching it. ✓ I’ve been softlocked (edit)I downloaded this game a week or so ago, maybe. I completed the first little tutorial bit and then used all my money on another classroom and teacher. I then closed out of the app and never ended up opening it again until today. Phillipe introduces a new feature to me, competitions, in a tutorial I cannot click out of. The problem is that I have no money to enter the competition and thus cannot proceed. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, thinking I could just redo that bit of progress I lost, but it saved my data. I think the best course of action would be to fix the things that lead up to this (whether by Philippe handing over the money to enter the competition or by making the player able to click out of the tutorial), but I’ll also settle with instructions on how to delete my data. Edit: I keep getting a notification that says “You have money to spend!” and I find that quite funny because no, I do not. Makes me a little more peeved at this app..Version: 1.1.8.1
✓ Great game, small issue…As you know, there are guides that show you what to do and how to get through the game. But when a guide is pointing you on a specific detail, or giving you instructions for something specific, you cannot press on anything or do anything that the guide is not instructing you about. When the guide shows you the competition page, you have to press on it. And it also takes away your money. Although I had at least 4-5k. And it forces you to press it although you don’t have any money, and you can’t move on until you press it. So it is stuck in this loophole and dead end because it takes away your money, you can’t focus on it later, and I can’t gain my money back to enter the competition. Please fix this. ✓ Great Game for ManagementI enjoy this game with all the different buildings, staff, grounds, etc. that you have to manage. I truly appreciate the different ways you can how build up the income for the university. The downfall of the game which is a big turn off in my eyes is the lack of ability to gain the gold gems which are needed for research and to expedite building departments and updating them. I would appreciate it if the developers would strongly consider changing this area of the game and provide multiple ways to earn this form of income to make the game flow better without all the delays of waiting for the buildings and spaces within the buildings to be updated. This includes the research section. To support my request, after reading other reviews the complaint across the board was about needing to wait unreasonable amount of time for updates to be completed as you go up in levels..Version: 1.0.4
