Takes your money and then customer service never responds!I have been living at my townhouse for 3 years, and they have always used this faulty system. I usually only put what I need, but now that my son is helpful I decided to put the max amount ($50) on there a few months ago so that he could put the clothes in the dryer for me. I got a new phone and tried to log in and it showed no purchase history. Emailed and they said they would look into it, but I received no update. Messaged a week later and all I got was a “when I get an update I will respond” message. Like what???. I have the bank statement ready where it shows I paid $50 but when I responded that I was ready with the evidence, I received an automated email. That was 2 MONTHS AGO. Now I have filled out their survey for a $10 credit…received the email from David Caldwell saying that the $10 was credited and guess what….NO PURCHASE HISTORY, AND NO CREDIT Literally a joke. If my apartment complex gave the option to use my debit/credit card like their partner apartments then I would never even consider using CSC. Save yourselves, I would rather wash at a laundromat..Version: 1.15.1

$5 minimum limit 👎🏽I Don’t like that the lowest amount you can add on the account is $5, I don’t like this at all it should be any amount to to add, constantly adding $5 to this account leaves me with cash left over on my account and i don’t want this to happen, right now i have $2 on my account but I just need to to add $3, but I can’t cause the minimum limit is 5 dollars 🤦🏽, so if I keep adding 5 more dollars every time it’s just going to keep giving me a remaining balance which is what I don’t want, I should be able pay with EXACT change not just stupidly adding extra cash into this app for no reason.Version: 1.16.0

SpamGood app if they just kept it to the service being provided. Just after signing up to use the app to do my laundry on vacation, I was hit with a barrage of spam emails from a variety of companies. You cannot unsubscribe from the companies as the ads in the emails are images and no links. When I drilled down further into the privacy policy about three links away from the actual CSC URL, I was able to locate and unsubscribe from about 2 dozen websites. So I did that and guess what, the spamming of 20-30 additional emails a day generated from me using this app, continue to come. If I knew this, I would have just gotten $5 in quarters to do my laundry. Shame on you CSC. I have never experienced something so bad..Version: 1.15.1

It took money and I cannot get my money backI lost some money due to the app signing itself out which also erased the amount of money that I placed into my account. There is not a request refund for app taking money and erasing all my funds placed into the account. Do not place more than five dollars into this app at a time. I have made the mistake and I believe I will not get it back all because of this bug or thievery. I am also very sure that the update involving the delete my account option has also automatically deleted my account, funds, and transaction history. Be careful of using this app because it does steal money. Judging by how it took ten dollars from me, it seems that it would have taken more if I put more into it. I hope this is read, so people can understand the risk of being forced to have to pay at least five dollars to have five dollars worth of funds into the app as laundry money..Version: 1.13.0

My 1 and only thing I hate about this app….Thank you guys for switching to the whole digital era. Had so many problems with the card not reading with money still on it and that jazz. My 1 and only complaint is that you add an option to let use know “machine has been stopped, opened” and with that only the purchaser can restart the machine as an extra precaution. I just had 3 loads of my laundry stolen. Most of which were my daughters clothing. Such a disgusting thing to have happened when I’m the closest to the laundry mat. Fix this please…. Let us know with an alert that the machine was opened! I’ve had so much of my laundry stolen in the past and I feel like you guys can make it right!.Version: 1.11.1

Sometimes it works!Don’t stop saving your quarters, because the CSC Go app often will have washers hanging, thinking that they have 25 minutes left, even though they’ve been done with a load for hours. With the machines in our apartment building you can sometimes get the washers to get over being hung up in the app by using quarters, and then after 1 or 2 loads run that way the CSC Go app will recover and work with the washers again….but if the quarter intake is near or completely full this won’t work. I’ve let the csc go online service know about this bug repeatedly. Sometimes they seem to reset the machines, but the bug seems unsolvable and always comes back — often the app will be unusable, or at least hit or miss. Adding insult to injury BTW they never issue refunds on lost quarters. But weirdly enough the app usually works with the dryers. I wish csc go would spend less money on advertising and more on getting the app and washing machines to work well, at least at this stage of development. Apartment dwellers are a captive audience anyway, if the app was reliable we’d use it - if it was working. I’ve tried keeping the mindset that this is like flying cars, fusion, and moon colonies — maybe someday it will all work great, in our rosy technological future!.Version: 1.17.0

Buggy and eats your moneyThis app is a disappointment. At times it works but it is often buggy and it will randomly log you out. It has charged me multiple times for one machine when I did not get a notification that I got charged, and to make matters worse it only allows you to submit one refund request at a time. Today my account was at $19, I was trying to pay for a load and it was taking forever to load, but I guess in the interim it charged me like $10??? It makes no sense. I tried everything to get the app to work, even uninstalled and reinstalled and we I logged back in my $19 had gone down to $9.75 or so, how did that happen? It makes no sense. I very much dislike this app, but mostly do not like that this is the only payment method available. I would far prefer quarters..Version: 1.15.1

Issues with machines workingI’m not sure if it’s the app that is failing or the machines at the apartments but there’s definitely no issue in taking my money when a machine fails. Las CAs apartments machines give me an issue more than half of my time when washing or drying. Usually it’s the washers but today it was the dryers. It’ll take my money but won’t start. It says on the app it’s drying but of course it is not. I open and close the door a few times to see if that’ll work and nothing . I will be going to a normal laundromat after this. Oh and I just hate how I have to pay in increments. I’d much rather just pay what I have to for the load than have my money sitting in some useless washer app..Version: 1.17.1

Do NOT add more than $5 at a time!!First of all you may be forced to use this app if your apartment is using this for their washer and dryer. But also there is a big problem with the app. Once you add money to your account, there is no way to get that money back. So in my situation I put money into my account and then my apparent decided to replace the washer and dryer. But instead of using the same company they chose someone else. So now I have to download a different app to do laundry. Which means this app is now useless to me and my money is stuck inside the wallet with absolutely no way of getting that money back. DO NOT ADD MORE THAN $5 at a time so in case this happens to you then you won’t lose a lot of money..Version: 1.15.1

Just like the service, mediocre at bestEdit 2023: Never improved, no attempt to. Still the worst service and worst app :) The only useful feature is seeing which washers or dryers are open, which is right only about 70% of the time. Half the time the washers or dryers are broken anyway. You have to force close and reopen the app every time you want to use it - you can’t switch to another app and switch back, or you just stare at the loading screen forever. The payment options are a hit or miss, especially if you want to run a washer on hot, or anything other than its default options. Overall, my apartment building getting CSC was the dumbest decision ever..Version: 1.17.1

Overcharges/Have not received refundI loaded my wallet with $6 and then used two washing machines for 1 load each (this should have cost $4). When I went to dry my clothes, I saw it had charged me twice for each load in the washers and said I had a -$2.00 balance. I had to load my wallet again to dry my clothes. When I used the app to submit a complaint, no one ever followed up with me. I called their 800 number and the main menu prompts didn’t work. I went to their website and emailed their customer service, who asked for my address and said they’d send me a check. It’s been a month and I haven’t received anything. The $2.00 isn’t a big deal if I never get it back. But their customer service is absolutely terrible..Version: 1.14.0

Needs some workI like not having to have a stock of quarters on hand so was happy when my management company switched to the ePay option. However, half the time it doesn't show laundry cycles that I have running. Also, our machines are set to dry for 45 minutes but that will only fully dry a medium load (& heaven forbid you add some towels or a blanket), so I have to add time. But about half of the time, the option to do so doesn't pop up (which is where my handy stock of quarters comes in handy). I like the convenience of the app but they need to work on these glitches..Version: 1.5.0

Great when it works, but when it doesn’tIt makes something as simple as laundry so aggravating. Just today it had so much trouble to connect to servers it took FOREVER, and then it was repeatedly telling me a machine was in use when it wasn’t. I’m standing there in my gross building basement with my clothes loaded waiting for an imaginary load to finish before I can pay and start mine. So annoying. And my building won’t let us go back to old fashioned quarters so I have no choice but to deal with this stupid app. You need a manual override if the app is not synching properly with the machines, it shouldn’t take an entire afternoon for me to do my laundry.Version: 1.11.1

Nice concept, but has bugsThe issues I have with this app: recently under “my laundry” it no longer registers if you have machines in use. It has the blanket statement “you have no active or recent finished laundry” so unless I know which machine(s) I am using I have no idea how much time I’d left or if the machine has finished (even though the timers aren’t very accurate anyway). I’ve also encountered an empty machine that the app won’t let me use because it says it is in use. And I’ve had a lot of difficulty recharging my account due to unknown errors. I’ve had to attempt to use multiple credit cards and been completely out of luck when the app acts up. So the concept is nice, but if the app isn’t working seamlessly there’s absolutely no way to do laundry in a perfectly usable machine. I miss hoarding quarters..Version: 1.15.1

A lot of work still to be doneThe app is really hard to use. The app and machines error out constantly, the app locks machines and won’t update (so a wash cycle is complete and the washer empty and ready to be used, but the app has the machine stuck at 15 minutes left, and there is no way to override to use the machine, the machine is dead). Whole rooms go offline and apparently it takes 6 months or longer to have the machines “in the system” so I cannot even send a simple service request through the app; I have to send an email and explain EVERY TIME that we are not in the system yet but need service. Overall, I have had more problems than I think the updated machines are worth. I hope they fix all the problems soon..Version: 1.9.2

Your company stucks!!!Your company never comes out and checks on our machines in our apartments we write requests and they never get fulfilled since I’ve been here a year and a half at these apartments The Crossing in Denver Colorado. Your company has never fixed any of our machines fully we have five machines if we’re lucky two of them work at a time now we’re having problems with the router and it’s not sending signals to the machines. I have personally written this up at least two times and nothing is ever done. We’ve had a couple machines are completely turned off and we have almost all her drivers not even dry correctly. Our management team keeps using excuse it’s a third-party contact you guys and you do nothing about it..Version: 1.13.0

Great when it works… which isn’t oftenGreat app in theory. I have lived in this apartment building for about four months and have had about five successful loads of laundry completed. However, it’s an absolute nightmare the rest of the time. There are two main issues: - If the app glitches and takes your money without starting the machine, you have to fill out an excessively long form to get a refund… which is send via a check in the mail. - If anything goes wrong with the connection, the machines STOP WORKING ALTOGETHER. There’s no way to override the app’s and device’s control with coins or any other method. I’m only aware of a single week where the machines worked. This is an 18 story building and the laundry machines are almost constantly out of order, not because of broken machines but because they can’t be started without the app’s integration working properly. I’m literally doing laundry in my sink and drying them with a box fan. Repair delays may be longer than usual due to COVID-19 and I sympathize with that, but for the love of everything, give a way for management to override needing this app..Version: 1.5.0

Payment did not get applied to my accountI recently transferred about $100 to my account through various payment methods including credit card, debt card, and Apple Pay which were never applied to my account. I contacted customer service via email and received no response. Two days later I contacted customer service via telephone and was told that my email had been received but no representative had been assigned to solve the issue. I was instructed to wait 2-3 days and I would receive a response and that a $10 credit would be applied to my account so I could do laundry in the meantime. I waited 3 days and never received a response or credit. I called customer service again who informed me that my issue had been sent directly to a representative who would get back to me by the end of day. Again, no response. I called once again a few days later and the representative said that still no representative had been assigned to address the issue, but that she had sent to her supervisor who would contact me shortly. Guess what? Nothing. No response, no resolution, nothing. It has been almost two weeks since the payments have cleared and I still have response from CSC and no credit on my account for the payments. Faulty app with terrible customer service. I would highly recommend finding an alternative payment method..Version: 1.15.1

Machines don’t show proper availabilityI wish there was a functionality within the app where you could select to send a notification to the person using a particular machine when their clothes haven’t been picked up in an appropriate amount of time. Too many times I’ve come down here when it says available but actually all the machines are still full bc ppl don’t come get their clothes. It would be great if the app could send someone a notification after the clothes are done and another after their 15 mins expires so it’s fair game if someone needs to remove their clothes to use the machine. Either that, or not show a machine available until the door has actually been opened, not just when it stops, bc I’ve waited thirty to forty five mins for ppl to come get their clothes and no other machines are available. Stole my money multiple times.App malfunctions greatly and frequently. Stole my money a couple of times, and did not allow me to put in a second refund request after having waited weeks for the first one. It's not much, but it's a matter of principle to ensure money grubbing companies don't do this to its' large poor student users. Shame on you. Also, deleted my account info that had about 2 dollars in there, and is refusing to give me my 5 dollar credit for making a new account; Probably to bolster their sale of our data without having to give anything back. Anyways, companies like this add nothing to society and only act as a middle man to a service that had already been provided, for a markup of course. Good system, lousy customer serviceI like the convenience of not having to save quarters, knowing how many machines are free, and being notified when my clothes are finished. HOWEVER, I bought a new iPhone yesterday. All my apps transferred, although, of course, I had to sign into them again. All was well until the CSC Go app told me that the password or e-mail I had written down was wrong. OK, so it had a link for resetting the password. I put in my main e-mail address. Nothing. This was TWO HOURS ago. Nothing. Wondering if I had used one of my other addresses, I tried them. They didn’t work either. I sent an e-mail. Nothing. So, you say, just open a new account. Well, I could, except that I had $30 in my old account, and I don’t want to lose it. I ended up paying by debit card, which includes a 25 cent “(in)convenience fee.” It’s Sunday night, but if they don’t send a link by tomorrow morning, they’re going to get a phone call..Version: 1.15.0

I’m quite annoyed with this app.My apartment complex has been using this app for approximately two years now - give or take. And while it’s great not having to worry about getting and carrying around loads of quarters it has taken money for loads of laundry I never got to clean. Just be aware that if there is a technical issues to the washer or dryer like the washer would drain or the dryer didn’t actually dry your clothes (different occasions) then the complex will say you have to reach out to the app for the refund because they can’t issue it but the app will refuse the refund because it wasn’t an app error. In addition, the app just now charged me 3x for the same washing machine because the app got stuck in “processing” when scanning, paying, the starting the machine. I put in a request for that but the only option it lets me choose is the machine won’t start and for only one charge at a time, and you can only have one service request at a time - so whether they refund me the two over charges remains to be seen. This app has essential charged me 5-6 loads of laundry now that I never got to use. Two of which I may still get back, just not today. The idea of this app is a nice but it’s like they didn’t factor in the moments and reasons it wouldn’t work so the customers who actually use it can’t easily reach out to immediately get a correction as immediately as they take your money - even for a service you don’t receive..Version: 1.16.0

Not happy!App is glitchy. Says there’s an error than goes ahead and charges you 3 times for your laundry when adding $20 into the account now it’s charged my account 3 times for the $20 that’s $60 in one day. Phone # is no help and says contact email for a refund and they’ll get back to you in 24/48 hours. Well it’s been 5 days now and you still have my money and no response. I’ll be contacting my credit card for these unauthorized charges. The notifications don’t work properly as you start a load and then get a notification that it’s done immediately. The app is not up to date with the machines in the laundry room as you add your clothes to an empty washer. Go to start it with the app and the app says it’s occupied. Then you’ll have to switch to another machine hopefully there is one available and you didn’t already put the soap or good luck with that. Oh wait of course you put the soap in. Super frustrating and has happened lots of times. The dryers only work sometimes. It’s really hot or miss whether you’ll actually get your clothes dry or you’ll pay the money, wait 45 minutes come back and have wet clothes still. It works (until it doesn’t)Worked for a couple weeks, and then I wasn’t able to add funds mid load via credit card, saying that there was an error with processing my payment. I refreshed the app multiple time, tried different cards, and even deleted my account to start fresh. Finally, I just deleted the app and added the same credit card to my Apple wallet in order to pay via browser, incurring the extra fee for not using their unreliable app. Love doing laundry with CSC Go 🙃 Update: one week later, the Apple wallet workaround doesn’t work any more, so I straight up cannot add funds and do my laundry. time to try a laundromat! BUGSSSMy main issues with the app: • when you start a machine it will disappear in the app. It’s shows under laundry then disappears , I can’t check the time I have left on the machines while they are washing. • I had an account with money on it and I got a new phone and when I logged back in all my money was gone , it was less than $10 but I don’t care because that’s my money and where did it go? • I have notifications on for the phone and they don’t work!!! I would like to get updated when my machine is done but I can’t if the app swears I didn’t start anything !! Low key classist & there’s an anti-refund loopNo coin backup options for people who don’t have smartphones, internet, or if there’s a storm or tower outage. If you weren’t signed in when you started the laundry and you need a refund due to a broken unit, the app and sites take you on a loop to block your request since you don’t have a transaction history (yes, even if you can show it on your Apple Pay or screenshots.) No sign in, no transaction history, no refund. Again, you are NOT prompted to sign in when you open the app or before you start your laundry. So it takes a transaction just fine without your sign in, but suddenly can’t identify a transaction history when a unit fails..Version: 1.15.0

App needs workThe app logged me out and when I tried logging back in, I had lost all the funds in my wallet. The app refuses to load nearly every time I try to relaunch it. It’s easy to close out of the app and reload it, but still annoying since this is a very frequent bug for me. The app also has notifications for giveaways and other advertising, that CANNOT be turned off (I have confirmed with the developers) so you either have to turn off ALL notifications including your when your laundry is finished, or you have to deal with getting unwanted pop ups for things like giveaways that won’t open anything when you click on them. I’ve also noticed that the timer notifies me that my laundry is done about 5 minutes before it actually finishes. This may be an issue with the laundry unit, but it will say that the washer/dryer is occupied in the app, but in reality the unit is empty. These are a lot of issues for what such a simple app. I hope the developers actually do something about these problems..Version: 1.17.1

Please fix the bugs🙏🏼- Works thoughI love this app! Seriously, fantastic idea guys! I would absolutely give this app ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ if it weren’t for all of the bugs. Many of the buttons simply do nothing. I can tap the sticker or use my camera app on the qr but then it wants to open safari and sometimes the page will have a link to open the app, sometimes not. When it does, I can tap it and the app will open to pay and start a load but when I start, I can’t view it in the laundry tab or get any info for it other than it’s in use. Please fix this guys/gals! I’ll definitely change my rating to 5/5 then. Other than that, it does work and it does save so much hassle.Version: 1.7.0

Inconsistent AvailabilityI don’t like that this app is not a current Live update when it comes to the washer/dryers that are actually available for use. I’m standing in front of two washers right now at Parkland Square Apts in Englewood, Colorado and the the app is telling me that #16 and #14 are Unavailable when both appliances numbers are empty. I’m standing right here in front of both. And even when they are available to use the app will not let you use them. This is so unfair and inaccurate. I do not like using this app simple because the updates are not true updates as far as which washers and dryers are now ready and empty for a new customer to use. I wish your technicians who created this app with fix this issue. It’s suppose to make it easier for us when in fact it does not. I never know which are available and which are not. Dryer triple charged me ($5.25)I always wash and dry 2 loads at a time. This time there was a delay with the payment on dryer 32 and I noticed my balance was way off so I look under the transaction history and sure enough I was charged 3 extra times for one drying cycle. I requested a refund however the only option under “reason for refund” is machine failed to start. It starts just fine, it just stole my money. I select it anyways and I comment that the dryer tripled charged me. I wait for a least a week and only received a refund of $1.75 towards a separate charge which was a washer that did fail to start. You’re prompted to select the transaction for which you need a refund however you can’t select more than one like in my case 3 charges of $1.75. Once you select a machine for a refund your request is under review leaving you unable to select other machines if needed. Now a week later I can still view the 3 dry cycles that took my money in my history however these transactions are no longer visible to select under the request a refund tab so I guess I’m screwed out of $5.25. I usually put $20-$30 into this app but after this experience I’m only going to be putting no more than $10 at a time because I don’t trust their machines and their refund system is not user friendly. It’s just $5.25 but it’s the principle of the matter that makes me mad. I told them I was triple charged and nothing was done except keeping me unable to keep requesting refunds..Version: 1.15.1

ProblemsGreat app to use the machines, HOWEVER LOTS AND LOTS OF ISSUES that really messes us the customer a lot, for example washing machine works but none of the dyer, washing machine taking the money and claiming it has 0 min left even though u just paid for it (also start button doesnt work) in the past before we were forced to use this app, even though it was a hassle there wasnt as much issues with the machines. I understand that this app is new, it appeared around 8 months ago but pls FIX the bugs and issues or at least give us a different option of using your machines. P.S i would had given this app a 3-4 star as it is useful however i am currently studying for finals but now have to deal with a basket of wet clothes with no way to use the dryers as the app is bugged out, so yah. Really really badThis app was implemented in my apartment complex a few months ago. I was fine with having an app-based payment system, but THIS particular app is extremely slow and disappointing. I stand and wait for the app to load, select machine, and process my payment for ~10 minutes every time I do laundry. Others in my complex have the same issue. An app is absolutely not an improvement over a credit card payment system and for the amount of time it wastes, I really recommend landlords avoid this system! Adding more to my review after further use. It has gotten even worse. They’ve now added a $0.25 convenience fee for every load of laundry if you don’t have an account. Literal greed, and makes me so much more fed up every time I do laundry..Version: 1.13.0

🙄The one nice thing about this is you can see the availability of machines through the app. The crappy thing is none of the washing machines in the area i use have the same time for anything. You would figure the installers would set regulated times for things but nope. Three loads is my usual at a time. Right now i got one out in 29 minutes another in 36, and my last in 53. Ive told both the installers and apartments managers weeks ago when installed and nothing has changed as expected. At least the dryers have the same time frame to my knowledge but i use one setting one them. Then my apartments covered the card readers so you have to pay fees over the app everytime of $2. Maybe other areas have regulated times but it’s a huge inconvenience that doesn’t get fixed.Version: 1.15.1

Company is scammingSuper cheap and slow pay stations. As soon as gave it my money it disconnects from WiFi for at least half hour, in the meantime I’m getting the run around from there automated message. Well the WiFi comes back on before there robot did anything worth while, so I decide too try it again. As soon as a pay, it disconnects from WiFi AGAIN. (Bank notified me both payments went through) washer didn’t receive either payments. Probably some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. DO NOT try calling them unless you wanna listen to an automated message for 20 minutes because they don’t even have real people to talk too. The Automation line offers you little to no help. Personally think this company is scamming on purpose.Version: 1.16.0

Works good but with a money draining caveatI’m not sure if all machines are created equal that utilize this app but the dryer never dries my clothes in a single cycle regardless if it’s a big load of laundry or half of a normal size. The flaw and gripe I have with the system is that okay fine it doesn’t dry in one 60 min cycle, you can always top it off and add time 30 mins for additional .75¢. That is UNLESS you opened the door in which case your only option is to pay for another full 60 min cycle. How do I know if I need more time unless I open the door? Basically you have to play the guessing game of “yeah this is going to need more time” and pay a few extra quarters worth depending on time or be stuck paying $4 for 2 x 60 minutes cycles. It is cheaper to pay to top off and time but it could also be a waste if you potentially didn’t need that extra time. There should be like a 2-3 minute timer once the door is open to give you the opportunity to maybe take out things that maybe did dry well and leave the still wet clothing in to dry for whatever time the user determines is appropriate and still get the additional time option not a brand new cycle..Version: 1.17.2

Bad service and highly inconsistentHello all, I just wanted to leave a review so businesses and people understand this companies services. I have been renting at my current property for about a year now and being able to do our laundry has been anything but consistent. The washer and dryers do not want to start sometimes when you submit your payment through the app. The app will sometimes not start the washer or dryer for no apparent reason. The app will sometimes say the dryer or washer is in use yet it could have been done hours ago, resulting in you not being able to start your laundry and end up stuck with wet laundry. The app also will sometimes say they are experiencing issues and you cannot access anything or start the washer or dryer through it, with no explanation or when or what is going on. Also we cannot pay via coin anymore so the only way to use these is through the app, so no app no laundry. Overall the experience has been terrible and you cannot rely on being able to do your laundry consistently. So if you are thinking about using this, from my experience, be prepared to have problems on a monthly or even weekly basis. Also be prepared to lose out on money among the way when errors occur.
