Before you: -Had 30 seconds to go through as many rounds as you can -Earned some extra seconds if you completed first couple of rounds super fast -Were not penalised for wrong letter combinations (let’s say if you wanted to make word “love” but had accidentally made “loev”) Now you: -Only have 5 rounds to go through -Do not earn extra seconds -Get penalised for wrong words/combinations The game totally lacks element of excitement now! Before you were eager to see your and opponent’s final score and see how was able to get through more rounds and words. Now you are just worried of accidentally tapping wrong letters and lower your score because of penalties. You also know there’s only 5 levels max, so there is no point of rushing.. ✓ I can only hope the app has a ridiculous problem and that it’s not intentionalI have played thousands of matches of this game as well as thousands of skillz other games. Through replay, I discovered often, approx 1 of 4 paid matches, the opponent and I were not playing the same game. The developer is aware, but will only refund your entry fee if there is a replay available. So, as you can guess, there are fewer and fewer replays available since I’ve figured it out. Today, only matches I’ve won. I know they can determine if we played the same match because over the last few weeks of complaining, they have often done so. So, basically, they are taking winnings from some and giving to others, not to mention skewing all of the tournaments. If they had any plan to address the problem, the paid portion of the game would be offline until the problem was resolved. ✓ Fun game but flawed opponent matchingIt’s truly a shame that the game developers of this game chose Skillz to host their game. The app is great but the opponent matching is problematic —even when you’re completely outskilled, matches are paired nonstop against the same player with a track record of winning against you. Over 25 consecutive matches against the SAME player is nothing short of harassment. Unfortunately, Skillz “customer support” is the absolute worst and consists of those who only know how to copy and paste the same unhelpful answers. They really ought to review the facts—supported by data—and admit to the fact that their “algorithmic matching— is completely flawed. ✓ Fun but not a fair matchThe game is really fun, but has a couple of issues. I have played about 20 games. I win most of the practice games, and seem to be within an expected point spread with my opponent - winning or losing by a few hundred to five or ten thousand. However, venture into the cash games and I get slaughtered. My opponent in the last game I played prior to giving this review beat me 120k to my 62k. Someone needs to check the algorithm. This happened five times. The fun for me is in the cash games so I’m going to have to come back to this one when I have more money to burn. It’s too tight at the moment to see if it equals out the more I play. The second issue may be the reason my opponent was able to beat me so handily. The puzzles began to repeat themselves even though I have only played a few. Someone who has played for several days might just have had a chance to memorize them all..Quilterbee70Version: 1.2.0

✓ Update only works on certain accountsTime bonus limit update is only working on some accounts, not all. I know this to be a fact because I watched someone else play at the same time. So some people are winning all the time because they’re not limited. I was forced to update, but this other person wasn’t, maybe because of a different OS.
