✓ Good and bad…Hi!! I love this game sooo much!! It’s so fun and entertaining. I Love how we could be creative with the makeup tools and things. But I am just so upset because you cannot play offline…i don’t know why we need wifi for this game!! Also, if you try to put any imagination or creativity of your own into it it says “yuck” or “yikes!” because you’ve coloured outside of the lines… I only wanted to put highlight in the eyebrow arch, it’s not yuck lol. When you get a new tool it says watch a video to unlock or “lose it forever”.. I clicked to lose it forever and I still got it, seems really stupid. The ads are soooooo bad! ✓ Please fix this.So I was playing Run Race 3D, and I got an add for this game. I decided to click it and see the reviews, I like to look at the reviews before I download games. I saw this one review by this person, and they stated that there were very inappropriate ads in the game. So I decided to download it to see for myself… and right once I opened the app, you guessed it. There was an ad, and it was this cleaning game, I believe it was called Deep Cleaning, and it was a lady in the shower that was naked, and the person was cleaning the window and almost exposed this cartoon lady. Yes, it is just a cartoon but there are still young players that could see these ads. If the owner/maker of this app cannot do anything about this, then I would recommend putting the age higher. But if you can fix this, please do. I also have seen multiple ads of people doing very explicit things children should NOT be seeing. With only having this app for a few minutes, I DO NOT recommend this game for younger children, if the ads were fixed then yes.. but since they are not, I wouldn’t recommend..Version: 1.5.3
✓ OkIt’s ok but a bit boring after a while the only thing u pretty much do is draw lines on the persons face the you blend it it looks like on the ads u can do much more but you cant it takes quite a long time to get the things and to my surprise when I finally got the hair brush the styles and colour where horrible plus when you see a hairstyle for an add it doesn’t even let you see it before watching the add and you might watch the ad and the hair style is pretty ugly so i only recommend this game to people who like to be disappointed and draw the same coloured lines over and over again. ✓ Not appropriate for younger players!!!🤔Okay so when I first got this game I just wanted to have something to kill time. ✓ I thought this app was gonna be goodThis app looked absolutely amazing when I saw it but when I downloaded it, the graphics are bad, there is an ad EVERY time I finish applying makeup, after an ad finishes my screen turns black and so I have to get out of the app and turn my iPad back on. It also glitches my whole device. This is VERY annoying. I would give this app 5 stars but since the ads are VERY annoying and it crashes my iPad, I give it 2 stars. ✓ Good but then disappointingHello, this game is initially good, the ideas are there, but after a certain point it gets very repetitive. To improve I think you could add backstory to the characters and maybe change the art style to look less jarring, like the wigs look very fake. It would be nice if the user had a lot more control such as being able to make their own clothes, or style the hair any way they wanted. It would be better too if you could make mistakes on every round such as if you added a hair cutting feature, that you could cut the hair all wrong. As a frequent mobile game player, I am conditioned to and unaffected by ads. I understand that they are there to supply advertising money to the game developers because the game is free. Ads with captions that say “I can’t reach pink colour” are unintelligent, sure, but the game developers need to make money and most devs currently do not put much effort into their ads. However, it crosses the lines when ads get inappropriate. Erasing clothes, drawing private body parts, naked women, and even people doing very inappropriate things. I also saw an ad for some coloring app with an EXPLICIT caption. I don’t know if they can do anything about the ads that pop up, but this stuff is insane and awkward. Ads like this can pop up when friends or family are with me. It is inappropriate and inconsiderate to show these ads, especially knowing how young players are. I will be reading and possibly writing reviews on the apps frequently shown in ads. This needs to be brought to light. ✓ Not goodMakeover Studio is a good game but it has tons of flaws, sometimes the clients will come out uglier than they were before due to the contour, foundation, highlights, eyeshadow, hair, lipstick, and sometimes even outfits. The outfits are quite cute and fashionable but there aren’t many selections. The count our and highlight just DOESN’T blend in, I was once blending on this game for 15 minutes straight but it still didn’t blend in. The hair can just be HORRIBLE sometimes, and like the outfits, there aren’t many selections. The teeth whitening doesn’t even do anything, you just BARELY actually see their teeth. The assistants do absolutely NOTHING. And last but not least the eyeshadow and lipstick. The eyeshadow looks bad no matter what, and the lipsticks don’t even match. ✓ Mediocre game with an insane amount of adsThe game itself is ok, to be honest I gave up on it pretty quickly. The reason for this was the insane amounts of ads. If you changed your mind on the colour of the makeup (before even applying anything) you had to sit there through parting an ad. For every makeup look, you were looking at a minimum of 4 ads. It was more ad than game. This amount of ads does not make me want to download the related games nor play this one. If you are happy to pay for the removal of ‘non-compulsory’ ads, all power to ya. However, I got far too frustrated with the amount of ads, I couldn’t get past the half makeup looks to see if the spend was worth it. If there were less ads, maybe I would give the game the chance to try the higher levels (which hopefully had full makeup looks). ✓ Theirs potentialI like the idea of the game. It's easy but fun and simple for kids which I assume is the target audience. The animation is very much cheap but not horrible. It's main issue is the ads placement and timing. Ads are important as they’re one of you'd sources of revenue so the placement of ads is crucial. To many ads at once test a players patience and can come off as annoying. This drives away players and makes them less likely to continue to play. Having ad in a middle of a task can frustrate the player as interrupts their playing. As I was playing the amount of adds turned me off from the game. I tried to keep patience and continue to play but it was just too much. I didn’t take me long at all to become tired of the constant ads and I stopped playing. I child will lose interest more quickly. My advise would to make the adds something the player will want to watch. Have rewards for watching adds, that way their less viewed as a burden.
