✓ Not sure why so highly ratedA sudoku app doesn’t need to do much but it does need something to lift it above the others and I’m struggling to see what I get here. The colour themes are nice but they’re a bit limited and what really lets this app down are the hints, I mean what does putting a question mark into an infilled box supposed to tell me? ✓ SudokuI have played Sudoku before, but that app did not explain the rules very well and I was terrible at it. This app explained the rules very well, the rules are simple. The puzzle is the challenge. I really like that you can select different colors for the numbers, it makes it easier to see a solution. It also gives you rewards, which can prompt you to keep playing. ✓ Good for beginnersThis is a well-designed app. However, I have a real problem with it. Part of the puzzle of sudoku for me is the ability to find any mistakes I've made. Even on Expert mode, if you mistakenly put in a note that doesn't fit the logic, the game will correct you. I do not want that experience, and there doesn't appear to be a way to turn that off. ✓ Favorite Sudoku game!I love this game and the design of this one in particular. I love the way the numbers light up when you tap a specific number, the colors, and counter. It allows me to effectively play in different ways. Sometimes I count out the boxes, rows, and columns 1-9 and sometimes I fill in the rows and columns by playing specific numbers until I exhaust them. ✓ Love it!I find this app to be fun and calming. I like to do sudoku as a focused, mindful activity when I'm feeling stressed. I like many aspects of this app: - the light/dark mode options - the number colors make the patterns easier to see (having said that, the developers might consider themes for people who see color differently (eg, red/green and blue/yellow "color blindness") - the column grid highlighting when I select a space - the colorful flashing when I complete a row/column I haven't gotten to a level where I need marks, yet, so we'll see what happens when I'm there, lol. ✓ A little buggyI love the game, but every once in a while, I cannot tap the far left or far right column cells without it being buggy. The only way to fix this is to go in horizontal mode. ✓ Best sudoku app I have usedDefinitely the best sudoku app I have used. Beginner, medium, and hard puzzles can be solved without using pencil markers. Expert puzzles are very challenging but the pencil markers make it a breeze. After a year of using this app I’m a lot better at sudoku. Now I do nothing but solve expert level puzzles perfectly. Expert puzzles are challenging enough that solving them perfectly is satisfying. My only request is the stats should include perfectly solved puzzles where there are no errors. Finally, we all know a puzzle is not truly solved unless it’s perfect anyways, so completing games perfectly with no errors should also be goals in the Daily Goals..Vince5335743246775Version: 1.4.1

The colors and make the game visually appealing and the animations are satisfying when you complete a grouping of numbers. I also appreciate the option to get a “hint”. Not only does it help you get through a tough spot, it also lets you learn new strategies to solving puzzles. One thing I would like to see added is an acknowledgment of a perfect AND hint free win. Except when it comes to the iPad end of things I’m not as thrilled. The app can only be played in full screen and can’t be played in split view or slide over like a few other games available. I like sudoku because it’s a basic game but even though it’s on arcade you’re going to have to get bothered by a bunch of pop ups and achievements and so on and so on before you can get to the next game. ✓ I Love SudokuI appreciate that this game is ad free with arcade, and the hints don’t trigger another ad. Overall it is a great sudoku game, but there is always room for improvement. The game is slow paced, you must select each individual cell to mark a note rather than being able to lock a number and drag your finger to mark a row of cells. The number boxes and the note button at the bottom are really small and easy to miss. You must make sure you select the note button or you will accidentally fill a cell with an incorrect number. I enjoy the small goals of earning trophies and collecting pictures. Once you earn all the pictures that’s it, it doesn’t reset or unlock another album. It would be nice to see the actual time of day during the play like the solitaire game by the same developer. Maybe it’s because the colorful version is more like Apple OS v Microsoft list OS. In any case I fell for it. One wish would be that there was an auto fill when I only have 1 number and 4 slots left. Well, now that I think of it, one more wish … right now when I have a column with 2 blank slots, in a square with 5 blank slots, I must mentally eliminate 3 numbers that are already fill in the column, to determine which 2 numbers I am working with. I understand why, but if we were to get to a point at the game where we couldn’t add anymore numbers, could you add a “CLEAR” or “RESTART” option. ✓ Best version of this gameThis is the best version of Sudoku I’ve ever played. Really well implemented! It’s removes the frustrating/mundane parts, and leaves the fun parts. The daily tasks are great too! They clearly put a lot of effort into the gameplay itself. Well done devs! Only thing I’d say is it could be a little more exciting regarding progression. There is a “picture collection” feature, levelling and titles, which gives you some sense of progression. But none of them are that exciting. I’m not too sure what I’d specifically suggest. Maybe each day complete the daily challenges for a puzzle piece, eventually completing a really nice bit of unique art. Or something even more outlandish…characters? Some kinda story? ✓ Great gameI am not good at Sudoku, but the colour coded numbers in this game makes it easier for me to notice patterns to look for and hence it has helped me to get much better in sudoku. The good old way of writing down tiny numbers in the empty squares and trial and error way of trying to solve Sudoku is so silly to me now that I have played this game. I played in medium hard level for more than 50 time within a couple days and the time it took has greatly decreased (from 13 minutes to 7 minutes). The key pad is well spaced out for ease of tapping numbers with a visual clue of little bars indicating remainder count. It would be good to include a fourth theme of a dark classic mode for people wanting to play in the early hours without colours of the night theme and the brightness of classic theme.
