✓ A few possible changesThis app is great because it never gets boring. There are lots of new animals to get and the sound effects are brilliant. I would highly recommend this game despite giving it a 4 star. There is one thing I need to talk to the creators about. The animal called the laser cat is not very good to play with as the laser and movement distracts me from the game which means I could get caught by the hawk or sink or crash. I know I can switch to a different animal but I like to play with all my animals including the laser cat. Please make a small adjustment to make me happy. ✓ Hilariously brilliantI love those games where the developers have poured in endless creativity and humour. This is one of them. Fun and funny, great for a quick play or for bingeing. I also love that some of the jobs involve failing (“hit train”, “sink in water”). While the dedicated game players might not like that aspect, it allows those who have slower responses to progress, unlock characters, and not get stuck and give up. I’m looking forward to more characters being added. I binged and have all but a few of the characters to unlock, and I’m not sure how to get those last ones - I have well over 1000 coins and nothing unlocks. It’s still fun to play. ✓ A great spin on the classic!So I recently downloaded Crossy Road. I hadn’t played in a while, and thought why not! Overall fun game. After a bit it gets boring but while you’re just waiting or are bored, it’s a good game to play. I love all the animals and how you can almost “build” a Crossy Road Town! One of my favorite things however, is doge! I don’t completely understand this “meme” but it’s hilarious. At first when I played as the tan dog I got, I didn’t think anything of it. Then when the subtitles came up in different colors I was so confused, but then figured out it was doge. So yeah, great game. ✓ Hear me outThis game is pretty good. It is a slightly better version of Crossy road. It has no ads like every arcade game. The art style is great. There is a big amount of characters for only the first version. This is the only problem I have which is the luck. I been trying to get a hidden character space dog. And it is just luck all around for hidden ones. I went to 250 twice and still haven’t saw a single alien duck thing. I know the original Crossy road also had this problem but it seems like this one has worse luck than the original. A great game overall needs a bit more updates and needs more luck to it..Version: 1.0.2
✓ Could use some helpI love this game! It’s fun and cute, but my only exception is that it glitches and there are no festive changes. I have had this game for a long time and there has been no change at all. I would hope that someone could read this and do something about it. My only criticism is that getting coins is really easy, but it does mean that unlocking more areas of the park can be done much quicker! ✓ Wonderful Throwback!I love this game. The original Crossy road was one of the first games I had on my first iPhone years ago and so with this app I feel as if I get to love part of my childhood again. It’s wonderful for the nostalgia and yet there’s also new add ons the first game didn’t have that makes this game so special. It collects all your characters and builds a map like area where all the characters live and they each have their own little “town” that fits the category their put in. It’s a great game to play real quick wether you’re waiting in line or just need a quick serotonin boost! The only “issue” I have with the game is it creates challenges/goals where once you’re able to complete you receive coins which is a great quick and easy way to unlock more characters but the one problem with it is it doesn’t tell you how to complete, no picture, no advice or anything. There’s challenges like “hit trains” and then there’s challenges like “trample cars”. And the train challenge is pretty self explanatory but the cars one for example is not. Even if you get hit by a car it doesn’t count. So now I have a goal that’s uncomplicated and have no way of figuring out how to complete it..Version: 2.0

✓ Could be betterIt’s basically the same as regular Crossy road except it’s EXTREMELY easy to get coins. So easy that you could unlock all the characters in just a few hours. Also the park is kind of boring as there’s nothing to do in it other than stare at the characters. It’s not bad it just has very little to distinguish it from the regular Crossy road, and once you get all the characters (which you will do very quickly) there’s nothing else to do other than beat your high scores..Version: 1.0.2
✓ Amazing but can be improvedI won’t go through all the pros of this game but a few cons: You should be able to see the tasks from the pause menu and be able to leave the game from the pause menu. You should be able to use the slot machine in the main menu, not after you die in a game. The tasks with scaring birds is near impossible because birds surprisingly are quite rare in the game unless you play as the arctic fox. You shouldn’t have to play as a character after you win, but should be given the option to still play as the character you are. Overall it’s a great game like the original and I love it. Maybe in the future they can bring multiplayer like in Crossy castle..Version: 1.0.1

✓ Great Game but a Personal IssueI'm giving this a five out of five because I know you devs work hard on creating or recreating these fun classic arcady games. And it must be tough and a lot of work: scripting and coding. Now, I do have an issue but I don't know if it has to do with the game, with the amount of space I have, or apple arcade itself. At some point, the win a prize or character option stopped popping up and now I'm stuck with the characters I've unlocked. I cannot unlock anymore characters because the option no longer pops up. However, the reason I say it might have to do with Apple Arcade is due to the fact that, when I opened Doodle God, the game wasn't loading and was frozen on a blue screen. I then reinstalled it and same thing. Now, I downloaded another arcade game which was Solitaire Stories. But when I opened it, same thing. It was frozen on black screen. Or the color scheme of the main menu. I don't know how or what to contact Apple or Apple Arcade about because this is the first time I've gotten this problem, please help!.Version: 1.0.1

✓ Very solid game!-A few tweaks neededI like this game, it feels much more rewarding compared to its predecessor and makes things like coin and character collection easier and less frustrating. Some small things could be improved, mostly on the UI part of things. The park is decently big and i cannot zoom out all the way to see the whole thing. When ever i want to get a new character, i have to enter a game, die, wait for the button to appear, open and go back to the park and rinse and repeat. You cannot open multiple once you are in the slot machine thing like before. Now i’m the type of person to semi-hoard my coins and not immediately buy a new character once i have 100, this might not be applicable to all but its inconvenient. ✓ Great besides 1 thingFirst thing first I love the game. Just like the classic besides more. I love the park and I love the job board….BUT the job board is a problem. It’s super repetitive. I can’t ever pick different characters due to the job board always asking me to throw myself in a train or a car. The “scare birds” jobs always take so long due to the lack of birds. My suggestion would be having job boards for each area of the park that way you can play as different characters and the jobs don’t get repetitive and boring. ✓ The game that deserves my rating, Crossy Road+Hello HypsterWhale! I may not have been able to complete the original, but this I did have the time for. When I first saw the game was going to soon be released in the arcade section, I freaked out and I had known at that moment that I would spend 24 straight hours on the game which I have done now. The game feels a lot more organized to me as well as a lot more fun. It feels so new but so different in an amazing way, and I can’t wait for more updates not only in this game, but also in Crossy Castle. The towers excite me, and the bosses are engaging. ✓ AnimationsThe animations you get when tapping on the little gift boxes off the job board should be rethought. Having to wait for so many animations to occur to receive coins feels unnecessary. ✓ Good game, but a few bugsI really enjoy playing this game in my free time, and since I’m still in school and I’m really busy, it’s a good game to just sit down and play for a minute or two. There is one major bug that I’ve noticed though. Later in the game, I made it my goal to get all the characters in the game. So I started getting a bunch of coins. When I got to the last few characters though, I couldn’t exchange 100 coins for a character. ✓ Has potential :)I kinda have to admit i was a little disappointed when this game first came out, i was really excited to hear that the classic crossy road was coming to arcade so of course i had to try it. i like the concept of building your own park and having each little section dedicated to some characters, i also like the quests, they help speed up progression, but that was mostly it. its also missing some features from the original game like leaderboards. I was hoping to see some new things added to the gameplay but unfortunately that wasn't the case. I do believe that this game can become something bigger and better in the future, i dont want to have high expectations because it only recently released. I do have ideas like mini games, using the in game currency to buy other things than buying characters, being able to interact with the characters and decorations in the park, that kind of stuff. I love crossy road in general, i would like to see more. Thank you hipster whale for working hard to release crossy road+, i hope to see more of this great game in the future. ✓ Fun GameI never tried this game until now because I thought it would be a cheap Frogger knock-off. Turns out it’s way more than that, with the addition of tons of characters and tasks to complete to unlock characters. I’m not loving that I have to purposely die to complete some tasks, and the tasks get repetitive, which starts to feel like a grind. But the humor and surprises more than make up for that. Some advice for new players. When you run out of characters to buy, but you don’t have them all, it means you need to unlock the rest with a secret task. Google for instructions if you want to know what to do. Also, unearned decorations have a white box you can tap to see what unlocks them..Version: 1.0.1

I like how with certain characters like Frankenstein and how when you play as him the screen is in black and white, and other characters where the screen has cool stuff like that. I also love the themes like dogs, cats and other animals and places like Australia and the savanna! It’s just that the park is lacking. I would love to be able to do other stuff like collect items during runs and place them around you park however you want! In whatever area, too! I would also like for things like dog food that you do pick up around the run to do stuff! Like if a dog eats dog food, it should be able to jump onto cars for 30 seconds maybe! ✓ What a classic reimagined!Growing up I loved Crossy Road and I would love to beat my friends in arcades with this (or they beat me, something like that). ✓ Great Game but resolution isn’t rightI love this game and it is great to see a version without ads or in app purchases but there is a big problem on my phone, the iPhone SE 2020 if that helps where the whole game is blurry and it’s easily spotted on the Apple Arcade boot screen where it is noticeably pixelated. ✓ Just a few things!The game is great and I can’t wait for more areas to be added to the park. I also like the missions because it adds progression but I wish there are more because lots of them get repeated a lot. Also I would love to have more achievements (and maybe the daily levels like the original Crossy Road?). For the small things to change, I would move the missions button (that appears on the park page) to the right side so it’s not stacked above the character button. Second, for the title, I would have the word Road+ be centered to the word Crossy. Lastly, when you are able to unlock a new character (during the game over page) the banner appears just a few seconds after the missions appear so I always click off too fast so I would have it appear at the same time as the mission banners. ✓ Fun game that needs quality of life improvementsI like the core game but there are easy to fix flaws to get that final star: I dread using the coins to unlock characters as it takes so long and you can’t skip the indulgent animations, then it makes you go back to the island and slowly reveal and populate things, there is no fun to be had there. The above causes me to lose my coins for unlocks when I got a new iPhone and transferred across - they don’t sync coins and can’t transfer them via support for the Apple Arcade version - super lame. The reward system is broken and has no skip challenge mechanic, so if you don’t ever get hit by trains you have to just decided the next time the map spawns to just stand there in the track as who is going to intentionally want to waste a good run with a suicide. Also reward system lacks variety. unrelated to the star rating but I feel this games devs need to play Pac-Man championship edition as a good example of mixing things up on an established gameplay loop as inspiration for new modes and modifiers - maybe for a sequel or spin off of the core concept..Version: 1.0.1
