✓ BeautifulI never write reviews for games (or even apps in general), but I had to go out of my way to say how beautiful this game is. Easy to learn, difficult to master. One of the best mobile games I’ve played. One suggestion: it would be nice if we could rearrange the 4 gun panel at the bottom to be at the bottom right corner for example. I move with my left thumb and reload with my right, and it can get a bit clumsy trying to reload the 1rst gun and reaching my thumb over..Version: 1.4.3
✓ Best Multi-Upgrade Shooter I’ve Played In A While But…This is hands down one of the most addicting shooters I’ve played in a long time. I would say progression in the game slow downs heavily as your loot levels up more. Another thing: Once you unlock all the operators, getting the pieces for them are useless. I recommend you guys allow the pieces to level up the operator at least once if you already have them unlocked. Would make it easier and more playable. This game has a lot of potential!!! Hopefully we expect more updates and a new mode in the future. Would be dope if we could have tournaments with the same loot we already have..Version: 1.3.3
✓ Best game I have…but it’s missing something…I love this game so much! Great skins and guns. The best part is how the character walks, it makes me laugh. Anyways, I get in a lot of close contact fighting, and I think it would be very useful for many of layers including myself if there were a stun punch. If an enemy is close enough, like the machete guy, chain saw guy, and electrical guy/girl, your character can through a stun punch to knock the enemy back and finish him off after. Also every time you think you have experience all alpha Squad has to offer you discover something new. ✓ Fun to come back toOverall, I’d say this game is really fun and keeps me coming back each day Tom complete different daily/bi-daily challenges. Progression feels good even if it gets slower towards the higher levels. My only thing is I wish you got more with the VIP membership. Skipping ads and the auto chest open are probably the best perks, but those are really the only two notable ones in my opinion. The daily hammers and tickets are nice, but other than that you get new skins which don’t look too great imo. An unlisted benefit seems to be randomly boosted rewards here and there, but if it’s not guaranteed it seems like just a tease. For $15/mo, I feel the membership could offer more perks (maybe one guaranteed reward from the random prize or double the extra bonus chest drop/rarity up). Still good fun, but the VIP membership can help you get through a lot of the early game easily, but seems less worth to have late game. It would also be nice to get a notice about a game update. ✓ Great game.This is a great game! It checks the boxes for a few genres as it’s action packed game where strategy plays a huge role. I don’t care how could you are,if you don’t have the right gun for some of the later bosses,you are going down. Anybody that says this is a pay-to-win title is a lazy gamer. Now, for the downside. The first issue is probably on me. I can’t get into the new game modes,rifts etc. When I try to log into Game Center from there,I get the spinning clock that never stops spinning. I’m still trying to figure this out. My second issue is the lack of control over what parts you craft. I now have 3 guns that I can’t improve because Im waiting to get lucky and craft the parts I need. This adds unnecessary frustration. I think you should add more parts,but allow planned crafting as opposed to random. If you have gotten far in the game,you know what I’m talking about. Regardless,I’m giving the game 5/5 stars because I see they are working on improvements. I gift a 5/5 because that’s how I roll..Version: 1.4.6
✓ Will Not Let Me Restore PurchasesThe game itself is great! Operations are cool and tons of upgrades. You’ll honestly need to purchase V.I.P or Battle Pass to get the best of the game. One problem- I cant Restore my Purchases. Nothing happens when I click “Restore Purchases” its a bit frustrating. Please fix this when possible. ✓ No goodI will focus on a few shortcomings of this game 1. The ratio of US dollars to game cash is too small 2. You need to play the hunt an unlimited number of times to get what you want. (Who has so much time and interest? I'd rather spend a little money to get what I want) 3. The probability of synthesizing firearm parts is random, it is difficult to get what you want 4. With gems 5400=($50) raffle, you can hardly get the weapon you want 5. The amount of in-game cash and cards needed to level up game agents is too much (exaggerated!!!) 6. Players need to brush about 1 million hunts to upgrade the game update stage. 7. I want to see the update and progress of the game quickly, instead of making some boring ideas for players to hunt and kill an unlimited number of times. 8. ✓ Great Game. But…I love the game, I’ve even purchased “The VIP Monthly” it gave me extra Money, and Hammers for sure, but Honestly not much to write Home about. I’m level 15 (which leveling up takes forever), I have Two 5star Guns, and Two 3star Guns, that I can’t upgrade any further because I can’t get “Lucky” with Loot. I’m lucky to even have those Guns, I got them from (Paid) Loot Boxes. My biggest Beef, why do I have all of these hours in this game, and keep Progressing, but still getting Level 1 Prizes, like seriously I’m Hunting beyond my level even, and it’s constantly Shards I don’t need, Guns I don’t need, etc. The game should Progress with you, but with all of that being said, I still play it everyday, so they got something right!.Version: 1.4.15

✓ A summeryHow you play the game is up to you, depending how you play it could take skill and tactics, or just plain luck, or a combination, I’m excited to see the new updates bring new features, I’ve been playing this for a while and seen so much added, when I started playing, the only levels were the main ones, then operations got added, then expeditions, then skirmishes, and somewhere within this hunt was added, they’ve added a great twist to the game! My only complaint would be that I wish there was one or two more weapon slots for the active loadouts, it would add more tactic and make things more interesting as you could have a fast firing weapon, a heavy hitter sniper, a damage over time explosive, a deadly shotgun, and then a pistol for when the weapons need to reload or get disabled. ✓ Few suggestionsFirst, I want to say that I this game has been lots of fun. I really love the fact that they don’t shove ads in your face, and you only watch them by your own decision. Amazing game in general. Some things I hope to be added: * More boss mechanics, they all have the same attack * Shield enemies actually using shields * Stealth mechanics ( for example melee weapons and silenced weapons, and punishing players for going in guns blazing ) * Mini bosses that are more unique, instead of a troop with extra health * Interaction with the environment (explosive barrels, breakable walls) * More level variants ( staying in area while enemies attack, having to collect a certain thing, stealth levels) I really hope my suggestions are taken into consideration. ✓ Great game, amazing support!I’ve been looking for a game to replace my current lineup, and i think i found it. Support: I started with a bug where i couldn’t link my cloud, which meant i couldn't access certain features. Not only did support respond within 2 days, they also offered to go above and beyond to have my issue resolved. Gameplay: Like many stop to shoot game, this one has a few bugs. But they seem to have adapted to most of them out of the gate, probably from other games like them. I haven't had any true issue with the shooting design. The weapon upgrade and availability could use some work, as it can take forever to limit break a specific weapon. This issue i feel they are working to correct without giving obscene advantage to the first person to find “the glitch” when they do revamp it. Community: I find the community is fairly new, with clans being newly introduced and such, but i feel they have bug plans for it. We can’t currently view each others bases, for example, but that’s obviously in the works. I’ll update my review as new updates come out, but definitely not a missing star yet from me!.Version: 1.6.3

✓ Great balanceI wasn’t expecting too much from a little game like this, but, at this point (9/5/22), they have this game set up / balanced very well, in my opinion. I play for free, but still have access to the main purchasable currency (I even get it regularly!), can play all the game modes and enjoy all the types of rewards, and can put in a bit of extra time grinding to get pretty much whatever I set my sights on. At the same time, they offer exactly the items that you might want to get at a faster rate for real money, so if I had it to spend, I might be tempted. Overall, a fun, progressive experience with the ability to play the way you like (competitive, challenging, easy, grindy, risky, expensive, free, strategic, impulsive, ranged, melee, etc.)! ✓ Finally a good Moblie gameI play a lot of mobile games in my free time, this is the only one that seems fair with everything in the game. It is not paid to win, paying does speed things up but you don’t need to. There are chests and other things in the game where it drops better and better guns for you as you progress, most other games it feels like it’s rigged but this one it feels fair. With the weekly challenges and daily challenges everything is beatable and Can be maxed out no matter your level. This game is extremely fair and balanced. It does take a lot of grinding and coming back to play a few times a day but over all very balanced. I don’t usually write reviews about games, especially positive ones but I’ve been playing this game for a couple months and I still enjoy it. Great action strategy game I love that you can do well without paying but I still get the battle pass usually and I’ll get the VIP pass if there is a sale. Some ideas I have for the developers: I would really like to see a multiplayer mode available either pvp or teams as well as going through a super level with a partner. Something with matching based on combat power. I also would like to be able to see other players bases. It feels silly to make a cool base design nobody will ever look at. I’m looking forward to the profile update and wish that was public as well when it comes out. Another thing is I would love to be able to sell things for cash. I never seem to have enough cash to do all the upgrades or workshop options available but I collect a lot of agent cards, agent shards, and weapon parts I don’t really need. I think a cash sale option would help balance that. In addition I want to be able to choose what I craft. I understand why it’s made the way it is and it’s good but if there was an option to use parts of the same grade (color) to make a chosen part it would reduce a lot of wasted recourses and frustration. The luck factor is exciting with weapon draws but I do not like that it’s all up to chance when crafting. I love the game as is but I really hope someone sees this and takes these ideas into consideration..Version: 1.4.13

✓ Awesome game but….Pros: This is one of the best games I have found among many. Leveling up and getting better weapons as you progress through the levels without having to pay anything. Yeah there are specials and a store if you want to get ahead but I’ve been playing for a good 6 months and I’m pretty high in the ranks with awesome weapons. Watching ads are annoying but do give you an extra chance to get a weapon part, cash, etc… Cons: I’m almost stuck now and only slowly level up, I wish they would change the probability of the gear level or somehow incorporate getting gear in the levels or events. Getting advanced blue weapon parts is almost impossible to get unless you plan on playing 24/7. Lastly the characters. It’s fun to unlock the characters freely and see what special attributes they have… but once you unlock them all and level them all up to as much as you can, during the events and dice spins, you keep unlocking a card as to when you already have that character unlocked. It would be great if they would change the reward to something truly needed I really hope the developers read this and change things.Version: 1.4.3

✓ Great game with some issuesLet me start off with the fact that it’s a great game. Keeps you interested and, for the most part, there’s a lot to do. You’ll find yourself playing for hours working towards a build you enjoy playing with. I say for the most part because there are some parts that seem almost engineered to force you to either grind and watch ads to enhance your characters and weapons before passing. Think of something akin to a pay wall. Secondly, the inability to have any influence on aiming at all will sometimes leave your character firing on enemies that are not the biggest threat or everyone except for the enemies you want to target. This can and will get you killed. For example, I was recently fighting a melee attacking boss. Bosses spawn enemies after taking so much damage. The issue? The character will ignore all of the other enemies and solely target the boss who is chasing you. Leaving you dodging sniper fire, handgun rounds and grenades while rarely getting to get a shot in on the boss let alone any enemies. At that point your chances of winning are almost nothing and if you’ve spent any of the red jewels to revive you just wasted 40 of them. I hope this is something that is taken seriously and maybe a way to target specific enemies or at least a method of influencing which enemy is being targeted is put in place. If any of these issues are fixed or any major changes would effect my score/review I’ll be sure to update it accordingly..Version: 1.4.15

As a request, it would be great to be able to change where the other weapons are shown during levels. I keep trying to move but accidentally change weapons instead. ✓ Game mechanicsThis is a little frustrating given that I go through levels just to get 1 star commons? Like come on. I grind level after level just to revive common upon common? It’s frustrating. When I try and grind a level my cp’s almost equal and die. It says upgrade your gear? How on earth can I do that when I hardly get any money I don’t get very many scraps? ✓ Superb, humble recommendationsA wonderful game that was fun for many hours. However, I have the following suggestions to improve the game: MONEY AND GEMS 1. Money is a scarce resource considering the cost of many things in the workshop. Either costs should be lowered or mission earnings should be increased. 2. Gems aren’t useful for worthwhile things (eg: it 300 gems for $5000 whereas it takes 40min to earn the money but a week to earn 300 gems) 3. There should be extra ways to earn gems (eg: mini-gem missions: complete a level in a set amount of time, use specific weapons, lower percentage of health, don’t lose any health, complete surveys [similar to the game Dead Trigger 2 to earn gold]...) SHOP 4. “Cash offers” ratios should be higher earnings of money considering the amount of gems are needed and how rare gems are 5. The “monthly offers” should also be higher in quantity of tools and gear 6. Being able to purchase boosts with gems. The options for boosts can be: more chance of weapons, double money, more agents/resources. WORKSHOP 7. Decrease the cost of those. I finished all 200 episodes and am still in level 4. The agents also cost too many gems to get them early, without cards (eg: to get 5 extra cards, we need 2500 gems). WORLD 8. The missions do not give you much money. Please work on the money and cost because it is imbalanced right now 9. For the new episodes, I’d love to see bosses that have a combination of the abilities of the 20 current bosses (eg: jumping and sniper, fast spin and samurai, desert swords man and 3 Lightning’s...) 10. It will be great to see a (skipable) animation of all the powers of a boss before starting the fight REWARDS 11. Increasing cash 12. Being able to “spin” 3 times, first time free, second time watch a video, and third time watch a video or 10-20 gems MISSIONS 13. The rare dice should appear more often 14. Pay money or gems to start the “operations” and “expedition” again GENERAL 15. A website of the enemy and boss details, weapon stats, game currencies, comprehensive agent info....Version: 1.3.2
✓ [Honest Review] Squad Alpha (Hotline Miami)Squad Alpha is surprisingly a very fun experience for the first few hours. However, while it’s certainly a very well polished game. It still suffers from some really unfair challenges. Something that can’t be ignored is how tedious the grind becomes when you reach much higher levels. Upgrading your gear is optional but definitely highly recommended. Storage capacity for your weapons can also become irritating in terms of inventory management. Killing any enemy is incredibly satisfying due to the physics. Unfortunately, I have to admit that the physics may be the only reason you continue to push forwards. Because the deaths with ragdoll physics makes for a more satisfying and sometimes quite comedic experience! It’s very easy to call this a less violent Hotline Miami rip-off. However, it’s not at all an exact copy. It’s much more fair on the developers to say that this game was certainly borrowing inspiration and ideas from Hotline Miami. Squad Alpha becomes more interesting and intense in difficulty when you reach you higher areas. There is the option to be stealthy but it won’t work in your favor. There is the option to lure a single enemy and kill it without alerting the others. There’s a great variety of weapons. All of them range from short-range shotguns, crossbows, long-range sniper rifles, long-range & short-range rifles with stun grenades, bombs, Molotov’s. There’s so much to experience with the additional gear, salvaging materials, workshop for crafting RNG-based armor. I strongly recommend you give this game a chance. Ads aren’t intrusive, gameplay can become too repetitive. Level design seems too similar and not much variety. Bosses can sometimes have too much health. (Decay Aura) may be the worst thing added to Squad Alpha! Anyway, I digress. Overall, Squad Alpha is an extremely fun experience for the first few hours. It quickly becomes too repetitive and slowly becomes less fun. I truly wish the developers created a BattleRoyale Game with this exact gameplay because this experience with players would be so much more fun! Please Developers, make a Multiplayer Online mode! ✓ Please add gun fusionI have a gold shotgun that I like a lot but it’s only level 35, I’m receiving guns in the level 70 range now and I just drew a near identical shotgun from a chest that is level 70 except it has marginally weaker stats. Instead of +16 power it’s +15, instead of +40% crit damage it’s +35%, instead of 24% slow on hit it’s 17%. Just all around a worse weapon perk wise, but way better level wise. It’s annoying because the game says the level 70 shotgun will end up “better” but I know the perks on my first gun would be better if it just had a higher level. ✓ Great but needs more weaponsThis game is great. Combat feels smooth and acquiring new weapons isn’t even hard. But there needs to be more weapons like maybe a bow and arrow (cause I see enemies with a bow and arrow but I’ve never seen it where you can actually use one. There’s a crossbow but that doesn’t really count and the reload time for crossbows are really long (so maybe decrease the load time for that also).Version: 1.3.8

✓ Slows to a crawl after level 30Great game fun excellent graphics up to level 30 they did a fantastic job. After level 30 it’s really hard to upgrade your weapons or find new ones. I’m still playing but it’s starting to get boring. After you open thousands of weapon crates and don’t find an upgraded weapons it gets pretty boring. I even paid for a month of free ads which lets you get double loot and still got nothing valuable. If I could pay for a lifetime of no ads I would do it. ✓ Great Game but could use some improvementsI love this game and I probably okay it more often that I should. The levels are challenging and earning cash/gems to level up your characters and weapons through playing or watching ads are great. It's fun to see my progress up the leaderboard as I get further playing the rifts levels. My only caveat would be the difficulty in obtaining the necessary "exceptional" (blue) parts when you need rank up/upgrade your weapons beyond 2 stars. I wish they would let you choose which exceptional parts you want to craft so you're not wasting all your efforts, time, and cash that you saved just for a part that you don't need. Even when you pay to remove ads, games offer ads if you want to acquire certain “perks”. Back to this game! I downloaded it and it was not an ad dump!!! The game played without ads and you didn’t have to pay to play with popping ads!!! Now, as before, if you want to up your exp levels or get them weapons, you can play an ad or pay extra for extra perks. Either way, I have been playing this game with no ads!!! ✓ Good game but…This is a very good game and gets more interesting as you play. However, it doesn’t matter how much money you pay, you will never get beyond blue weapons. These weapons or weapons attachments are used as the carrot dangling at the end of the stick. Does not matter how many chests you open, dices you roll, money you pay nothing. ✓ Awesome gameThis is an absolutely awesome game. Kudos to the entire team that brought this game to reality. It really is different from the usual drudgery out there. I’ve found it fun, interesting and just the right amount of challenging. I’ve seen others mention that the game is a money grab and honestly do they make the ability to buy gems prominent in their game? Sure but frankly you don’t have to. Watch ads if you want to or spend the money to get gems. Another great factor of this game (at least so far for me) is that they do not constantly push you to join a team or group. Want to play single player? Well then this is the game for you. To very minor criticisms, the first is when comparing an item against something in your inventory you only get to see the base or max stats. It would be nice if the stats of your weapons were more complete. That is compare range, power, reload speed etc and compare as the weapons are in this current time instead of base or max. The second is I honestly would like to subscribe instead of having to watch ads. Is there any chance of something like that coming out in the future? Neither of things are deal breakers though. ✓ Great game but a little disappointedThis gane is great. It’s got me completely hooked and I love the challenging gameplay is offers. However, I came to this game because I saw an add where instead of fighting other people who have guns, grenades, melee’s, and bows. You fight zombies and I was like :o. I wanted to see how this went so I downloaded and played the game during the Halloween events and noticed, despite it being spooky month and what the add promised there were no zombie enemies. Please, if you are just using that zombie add to grab players. Stop. The gameplay is already challenging with its multiple enemies and damage amounts..Version: 1.3.8

✓ I’m gonna give this 4 stars for gameplay, -1 for everything elseThe fundamental gameplay is solid, but like all these rather Archero inspired games, progression quickly falls off. I spent a little money to help, but anymore still won’t get me past any real barriers. You want to boost your weapon the first time? You need a rare part that: 1. I have no means to craft using widely available resources. 2. Does not drop often, even on higher “hunt” levels. 3. Can only be obtained in expeditions and operations, where getting one is entirely chance based, every 9 hours or so. 4. Is entirely specific to the weapon category. There are 6 weapon categories. So when you DO get one of these things, it’s not necessarily useful to you. In addition, salvaging your weapon past the first “limit break” requires breaking out gems. Guess how often you get gems? Well, ranking up gives them. Good luck relying on that. And umm…sometimes you get 5 at a time from the operation spin wheel And…like 1/20 times on a hunt, a chest on location will grant 10-14 gems. Salvaging an already boosted weapon requires *50* gems. That’s bad. That’s really bad. Either make it free, or make getting gems without the need to shovel cash towards the game. Also, upgrading weapon space should use cash, not gems. This game is simply hamstrung by typical mobile game shenanigans..Version: 1.3.2
✓ Great gameHonestly this game is one of the best mobile games I’ve played ever. There are many cool and unique weapons that you can upgrade. I enjoy changing my playstyle by choosing a different gun or character. But after playing it a bunch I am now at a point we’re I can’t progress anymore. All of my weapons are upgraded to max and the parts I need I can never find. And as expected the levels get harder overtime and I’m at a point where the levels start getting too difficult.
