✓ Great game but subscription??Honestly one of my favorite games but there is an attempt at a subscription model here. I saw that and was honestly so disappointed. You don’t get the whole game for 1$. You then have to pay 1$ monthly to play the way you want to. Just a massive bummer..Version: 2.4

✓ Fun barebones gameThanks for bringing this fantastic game to iOS - there were no good AI options before this app. That being said, I have a few feature suggestions that would turn this app from ok to fantastic. These are all in a similar Android app: A confirmation button before ending your turn An exit button available after each game A “Next match” option after finishing a game Different AI difficulty levels Ability to choose black or white A Statistics screen (wins, losses, etc) A dark mode A playable tutorial.Version: 2.4
✓ Subscription is a deal breakerThe base game app is quite adequate for $1, but a subscription for the expansion pieces is… not acceptable… I would happily buy the expansion, but I will not deal with another subscription that I have to manage canceling when I drop actively playing the game..Version: 2.5
✓ AI is juvenile and sub parI think most people found this app because they know or have played the game. In a comparison between this digital version and the physical one, this app is a great alternative to save money instead of purchasing the physical copy only if you’d like to play with other people even if the physical game is great to own in of itself. However, if you are looking at this app for the AI benefit, which I am, save your one dollar. The AI has the same exact opening moves and blatantly lacks any sort of strategy or even decent game play. Because of this it can barely be called an AI if not at all. Please don’t get me wrong I love that there are people out there looking for and making AI bots for this game but in this case specifically its hard to tell if the developer actually cares about the game or is only trying to make a quick buck. Especially considering that you need to pay a MONTHLY subscription to use the pill bug, lady bug, and mosquito in your games. I hate to be so crude and rash but I really think that all this app needs to be truly good is a proper AI vs player game mechanic as well as the expulsion of the monthly fee for the extra bugs. Consider buying the physical copy as well and support the true creators of the game, its a very fun game to own and play irl..Version: 2.6

Y’all could make the extension piece 3 bucks and if probably buy it, but if it’s just gonna passively consume my money and be a crappy app, then there’s no point.
