✓ Ads and a big problemFirst off the overly aggressive amount of ads I know you need the ads for money but come on an ad when you beat a level and when you get hurt and die every time that’s to much! Second and this is very bad i closed the game and did something else but when i opened it up all my Progress was erased all evolutions I had got erased and all my dna and coins probably to please fix these problems now or soon I will delete it Anyway not terrible game 2 stars.Version: 1.2.3
✓ Ok ishAlright to pass the time but there isn’t much to it, I kind of get bored quickly. You just run around, there are no other buttons, you just move. No real strategy. It says it’s hunt or be hunted but I’ve never actually been hunted. All the levels are the same, just as a different animal, or mechanics ever so slightly different. So to summarise: it’s an alright concept. But it’s boring. You don’t choose which path of evolution you go on, attributes to help you survive, prey doesn’t see you coming to make even a little bit of a challenge, etc. Recommended if you’re entertained really, really easily. ✓ Good Game butThis is a good game, but when you complete the first evolution tree there is nothing to look forward for except the humans. To fix this problem just add more animals each evolution tree. Another problem, is that it is just to easy especially when your a herbivore when you do have enemies it is so easy to avoid them they don’t even chase you this would be fine if it just was the first evolution tree, but it is not. To fix this problem than add more enemies (especially when your a herbivore) and please make so they actually come after you and try to kill you. I played through half of the first stage of the evolution. But then, right there, an ad popped up. And then another, and another. I was about to delete the game, So I thought “ oh yeah the YouTuber said to turn off Wi-Fi so there was no ads” so I did that but still there were ads! So I got the NO-ADS thing and at that time it was like 4.99! So I bought it, it took my money, I played through 1 stage of the evolution and there was an ad!!!! After the ad, something popped up on my screen and it said: ‘The payment couldn’t process. Try again soon.’ I ALREADY PAID! IT TOOK MY MONEY!!! So I deleted the game and never. The graphics are incredibly simple, and I would say some animations need fine-tuning. Not that the simple graphics are a turn off, quite the opposite really! It adds to the charm Gameplay-wise it gets the message of an evolution game across well enough, though I’m unsure on the endings. Are there only two unique ones? There’s three “ends” but I could only get Hunter and Gatherer endings essentially. Does everything I consume tip the scales in one way or another? And why do I have to play almost the exact same game to get a different last set of levels? Idk, maybe with some improvements on game/level design it could become a more compelling game, but for now it’s kind of one of those “meh” games. ✓ Perfect example of a waste of potentialInitially, I was very intrigued and excited to play the game. However, not even a minute in & I was already forced into watching multiple ads just to receive the default rewards you get for playing a round (you don’t get a bonus, it doesn’t double the worth of the rewards: You are simply watching an ad just to play the game as is). not to mention that if you restart the app just to avoid the ad you didn’t choose to watch, you won’t even get the default rewards for playing the game. I then continued to play to get more of a feel for it in case I was being too quick to judge. However, it didn’t take long to realize that not only can you never escape the ads but there’s nothing to work towards. The only available upgrades are useless, you do the same exact thing in every round, every world, and with any new character you buy. I simply don’t understand why you would release a game that holds so much potential just to have seemingly put forth the bare minimum of effort required. Even if you do have ppl constantly downloading the app, it can’t be outweighed by the fact that they won’t spend their money, they’re not going to play for longer than a day, & at the end of said day the customer will likely have nothing but a negative opinion of the creators after the fact. ✓ Very disappointingFirst off the game was good. But the issues and typos are what killed it for me. The game feels clunky. Clunky as in the crap obstacles put in your path. Hunting as a human is very difficult when there’s more than 4. You’ll lose some of the group because they got stuck. The 2nd and 3rd evolution or as they state 2st and 3st are exactly the same as the 1st. If you enjoy ads this is a good game for you. If you turn on airplane mode and get a key you’ll screw yourselves on opening the other 2 chest to get the part you need. First part is 500g second is 2000g and the last is 4000g. Simple and repetitive, with just enough mystery with future stages to keep me interested. However, I was disappointed to get to the final stage of the third evolution chain only to find out that it was exactly the same as the first evolution chain! It felt like a silly bait-and-switch that makes me unwilling to wait for a new update. The function of the DNA strands was also unclear. ✓ A good gameThis game is good and gives you an actual challenge, normally games say stuff like “level up and get a prize” but this game says “level up and have fun”. People like fun games and want more. My direct message to Apple, bring back some of the older games because people actually enjoy them a lot. My brother absolutely loves them and I do too. But I got off topic, so back the evolution one, people love this game and I say keep making more of this game. Sometimes when you are leveling up, challenges come across like dinosaurs. ✓ TerribleThough unique, the simple objective provided by this game isn’t amazing. It’s cool to be able to change species, yet the gameplay between does not change in the slightest. Ads have also created a huge problem with mid-game interruption. I haven’t gone a single minute without getting some sort of ad for yet another merge or puzzle game. Ironically, they didn’t add in app purchases that could get rid of ads. Might I add, many iOS game applications that are genuinely fun have developers who are interactive within their community; like actually reading over and replying to reviews. ✓ Good but could use some changesSo, I like playing this game but it needs a couple a things. First of all, you should actually make it so you can actually get parts for the creatures without watching two ads to get two keys or spending coins? I feel like it’s rigged so you can either have me playing for longer or to get money from the two ads I have to watch to get the keys. I proved my theory by opening all the unicorn chests two times with a key, it’s just rigged so it’s always the last chest you open with they keys you have to watch ads to get. Second, it needs better advertisement. The animation on the ad is not very good and needs improvement. I was very skeptical and almost didn’t download it because of this. Lastly, you need to add a shop for upgrades. You shouldn’t only have to spend your coins for parts. ✓ AwfulThe game itself is fun but unfortunately the devs clearly just want money. Every time you go up a evolution you get spammed with ads. And to evolve you have to watch videos. ✓ The absolute biggest pile of trashWords can’t even describe how absolutely horrific this game is. There is no artistry or creativity- it’s barely a game at all (think of it more as a swimming simulator) that they have so chock full of inescapable ads that literally hold you hostage for at LEAST a minute straight. Once your out of it, sometimes it throws you in for round two, or MAYBE they let you “play” for another twenty seconds. I didn’t expect a lot considering it’s look, but I am so angry that once I saw the reviews- I was astonished to find the overwhelming five stars. ✓ What a Joke!!!I played for 30 seconds and got two commercials, and the third commercial was a black screen and I couldn’t get past it. So I deleted the app! I love games where you can play all you want, and if you want to top up then you can watch a commercial. Those are the games that people continue to play, or games where they offer you to opt out of commercials by paying $2.99. Not this game, you are not allowed to opt out of commercials, and you can’t play because you have to watch a commercial every 15 seconds.
