✓ Too many adsI enjoyed this game. A fun time waster. But have deleted and will not reload because of the ads. Had 3 lots of ads pop up during the middle of a game. If there was an option to purchase to remove ads except for to acquire a power up then would absolutely do that. Sorry but the game is now gone for me..Version: 1.10.1
✓ Don’t botherI loved the concept of this game, the strategy is pretty fun. Shame about the amount of ads. I considered paying for the ad free version but the other reviews put me off. The PVP levels seem fake. Apparently I was playing against real people even when airplane mode was on my phone. I don’t mind a game having bots when there aren’t enough people to play, but it should be made obvious. Instead the whole leaderboard looks fixed..Version: 1.18.3
✓ Ads in the middle of games… sometimes several in one game 🙄I don’t care that you have ads at the end of the games, it’s just frustrating when it’s in the middle of the game, sometimes several times in one game. It makes it impossible to want to play because you are stopping what feels like every 5 seconds just to watch another ad. I don’t want to have to pay to not have ads in the middle of a game that realistically I’ll really only play when I have a bit of free time. If you want people to play your game, consider not putting the ads during the actual game, it’s frustrating and annoying and I’d rather just not play..Version: 1.15.1

✓ Great game, horrible and money hungry reward system.This is a really fun and well developed game that I’m glad I came back to following the updates and new gameplays. It’s a lot of fun and fairly addictive but the effort and time put in are in no way rewarded by the developers. The cost for in game purchases are ridiculously high for the quantity and even quality of items you would receive in any other games and other developers. A $50 spend will get you a single legendary unit that can be revived through random rolls, and a few coins that are easily collected in standard play ( the fact that you can get a legendary unit through normal means is the saving grace of this game!!!). For that amount of spend, most other games provide several different items of high value and even give additional gifts and rewards for spending that much. The reward ranking system is poorly thought through and executed - as you rank higher your rewards stay the same as if you were in the lowest ranking. I really enjoy this game but if things aren’t changes to better reward the user, there’s no doubt it will begin to lose players. I personal spend a good amount on mobile games per month and would gladly do the same in this game of it was worth it! I hope this catches the attention of the developers and makes you consider your users. You’ll make more revenue from happy customers who are validated and rewarded for spending their time and money on your products..Version: 1.17.1
✓ Game Won’t OpenI spent two days playing this game pretty much non-stop. I agree with everyone that this is an ad-machine, but I don’t really mind that too much. What I do mind is that I played for an entire day, then the app wouldn’t open. Obviously I didn’t get a response from submitting through the support team, so I had to delete the app and reinstall the game. This ended up making me lose all my progress and I was furious. But I decided to give it another try, so I spent the next day trying to redo my progress. Now the game is crashing again and it will not reopen for the second day in a row. I’m not going to delete it this time, but it would be nice to have a way to save progress. It’s pretty infuriating to play for so long and enjoy the game and then lose everything. ✓ Yet another Ad ruined game.I may be staying the obvious, but it seems to me that 90% of games on the App Store are deliberately built for maximum ad revenue without any desire for actually building an enjoyable game. This is another example. The game itself seems intriguing and inviting at first (all part of the plan), but you slowly realise that it is an endless repeat of essentially the same thing with glacial progress in any evolution in the gameplay, all the while feeding you adverts what feels like every 20 seconds and trying all the tricks in the book to get you addicted. Be strong, please do not download this game or the thousand others like it - they are making zombies of us all. The irony is that I would not mind paying for a game but they are so geared towards building ad revenue that the quality of the game itself is ruined to the point where I do not want to pay for it. ✓ Was a fan… now I’m annoyedI have been playing this game for hours on end for about a month now. I honestly didn’t mind there being ads after every round because they were short and I could skip them after about 10-15 seconds. But now the ads are randomly popping up in the middle of game play which is causing me to lose and just very annoying in general. Once the screen comes back from the ad I realized the game continued while I was stuck on the ad screen. Not fair. And they seem to come up every 20-30 seconds now so an ad popped up twice while I was in game play. ✓ Love hatePlaying is a love hate thing. The game is a great concept and if it worked well it would be awesome. However, the adds are ridiculous, you can’t even finish 1 battle without 2 and sometimes 3 adds. This is very frustrating. Also I’m not sure what else this is doing in the background but it slows the phone way down. That defiantly makes me nervous. Also if that were not enough the game crashes often. Closing out the game and restarting it will bring it back to life but of course any progress you had made when it crashed is gone. Its not uncommon for me to start playing, get hit with a few adds, come back from the add only to have the game running so slow I can’t make any moves before the next add hits and then if I can finally win, it crashes before I get the reward. The latest thing is when I win and watch the ads to “x3” the money it show the triple amount , then drops back to original amount and credits that to my bank. So no credit for watching the add. ✓ Mostly funEarly on in the game, you need to earn lots of coins to upgrade your troops and tanks. The random “summon a unit” is definitely stacked against you as can be seen in the “odds” displayed in the information box. Later in the game, you need crystals (rubies, jewels) in order to upgrade and summon. Once past the beginning levels, coins are basically worthless, you need 4 or 5 units summoned to upgrade and then cash is used for 1 level and then you need 4 or 5 more summons to be able to upgrade again. To get to the highest powers, it is obviously a PAY TO WIN scenario! If there was a way to use coins to buy crystals, there MIGHT be a chance for free to play person to get ahead. To even attempt to gain more crystals, you must watch a bunch of ads and even then the “random” rewards lean toward coins! I have been playing daily for about a month, but am about to delete the game…at least the grandkids are enjoying the early levels on their tablet. But they will get frustrated once they get to my level!.Version: 1.18.5
✓ Upgrade screws playersThought it was a fun game, until the last upgrade increased the unit level at which you could 3 boosts on from 15 to 20, which you can only get by buying upgrades in the store - a pure cash grab. Greedy devs ruining another game. Updated comment: in response to the developer reply, I take exception to their statement ”You haven't lost anything, combat power accounting has become fairer and the selection of opponents is more relevant." Combat power accounting has only become fairer to those who spend a lot of money to quickly gain a higher power rating. Before the update I was regularly able to defeat opponents with a power rating two times or more higher than mine because my battle strategy was better than theirs. Now it basically comes down to how much money you spend will generally dictate whether you win, because the strategic element has been substantially reduced. It wouldn’t surprised me that the changes in the latest update arose from complaints from players who’s high level tanks we’re getting defeated by lower level players because they know how to play the game better, so they updated it to make that much harder to do..Version: 1.18.6

You can pay to remove them but I think the price there charging for a week should be more like the monthly cost. ✓ Good toilet gameThe game isn’t too bad if you only want to play the straight lined main mode levels or “pvp” mode. Just turn off wifi and cellular data for the game and you can cruise through levels. PvP doesn’t seem to be actual pvp since I can play against others with no internet connection. They recycle levels once you get far enough. For me, the most noticeable case was levels 426 and 915 being the same exact AmongUs layout. The only difference was the characters that the other towers used. I haven’t spent any real world money on the game and have gotten this far. Good game for passing some time. ✓ Ad machinePrior to the latest update (shortly before Thanksgiving 2021) I would have given this game 4 out of 5 stars. It’s fun and some levels are challenging, but there haven’t been any new levels added in forever. But now I give it 2 stars, because the number of ads has pretty much tripled and the daily challenges have been removed. I used to get one ad during gameplay and one ad between levels, but now I get as many as 3 ads during gameplay and still get the one between levels. For some of the easier levels, you spend more time watching ads than completing the level. Unacceptable. Since this game could be really fun, I’m holding off on deleting it hoping the developers will come out with a new update with some decent improvements. But if that doesn’t happen, it’ll definitely get deleted. JAN 2022 UPDATE: I lowered my rating to one star. This game has way too many ads. ✓ Keeps stalling.This isn’t a bad game - in fact it’s cute, becomes more challenging as the levels go by and has been holding my interest. The problem is that game play is interrupted by ads - which in itself is not necessarily a bad thing - the problem is after the ad, more than 80 per cent of the time you can’t get back to your game. ✓ Bugs and problemsI’ve owned and played this game for several months. There have been some recent (massive) changes that dramatically change the game. It went from a rather simplistic game (play against the AI) to a combo of play the AI and PvP. Not that big a deal, but the new game isn’t the same game from two months ago. Big bug: At the conclusion of each match, you win coins. These coins are now spent to improve your army or tank. It isn’t exactly clear how the improvements work (what is “resurrection”??). But the real problem is that the game cheats you out of the coins. I just completed a match and won “+62” coins. By watching a 30 (ish) second advertisement, I am supposed to receive 3x that number (+186). But in reality, I only received 180. Not a big number, but still it’s frustrating. Especially when that happens each match. It also makes me heavily question the legitimacy of other perks. As things are currently, I don’t want to continue playing if the game is going to rip me off and cheat. Further frustration: the game has become a pay to win game. While I can still play PvE, hope of winning ranked PvP is low since I cannot get a decent upgrade for my armies without spending money..Version: 1.15.1
✓ Too Many Ads! That 1 star should be a no star!This game is great! Love the tank and the bombing plane idea….. but that’s where my love for this game ends!!!!! An ad before you start a level, an ad each time a tower is taken over and ad just because! Most levels you get a minimum of 3 “ad breaks”! But they aren’t simple 5 second ads, they are the ads that play for 5 seconds, you hit the x and it takes you to a download page, you hit cancel, another 5 seconds plays, you hit the x again and it goes to another page for the ad where it takes about 3-5 seconds to load a x to press then you get to go back to the game! So they are like 20second ads by the end of it! And that’s not counting the times I’ve had to close the app and reopen it coz it’s stuck on the ad where you hit the x and it goes to the download page you hit cancel and the x again and it goes back to the download page and it does this over and over and over! Because there are so many games out there similar to this that don’t have as many ads, I will be deleting this game very soon if it’s not fixed and the ads are brought under control! Somebody seems to think I’m stupid enough to spend $100 to upgrade my troops so I can win every game. Not gonna do it. I haven’t done it and I went 99.9% of the time. This is a strategy game. If you look at it as a strategy game, you will not have to be stupid enough to pay $100 to upgrade your account. I think it’s an insult. I would not pay five dollars for that package. ✓ PVP Mode is Likely RiggedThe game is very fun and extremely addictive (as designed), particularly the PVP tournament mode. The matches are usually short and each time you win your ranking increases. There seems to be thousands upon thousands of other players, yet after about 80 matches you will notice strikingly non-human like patterns in how your “opponents” play the game. I’m almost certain most of the “human opponents” are just bots created within the game to make you feel like you are beating other people i matches. This contributes to the user feeling a dopamine rush after each win, and wanting more, playing match after match until the whole day passes you by. The game is fun, but ultimately after playing for 2 days and spending the $7 to play as free, not worth it. You pay with your soul and your life energy.Version: 1.15.1

✓ Meh not greatFrankly speaking this is actually an entertaining game, the concept is pretty simple and straight forward. Whilst the varying levels present challenges and encourage you to use your brain this app really is let down by the sheer volume of adverts in it. Finish a level, watch an ad, start a level, watch an ad, playing a slightly long level, watch an ad (it literally interrupts you with ‘ad breaks’), playing an actually challenging level, watch another ad (yep some times you’ll watch 3 ‘ad breaks’ before you even finish the level… and then have to watch one once you do finish) normally I’m not bothered by games with ads in, but the sheer volume on this game is really remarkable. I’m on level 690 something and I’ve been noticing for a while that the game towers have started using special characters. ✓ The ads are NOT the worst part!I downloaded this game and was immediately hooked. In one evening, I managed to get through the first 50 or so levels and leveled up to the 2nd bronze tier in pvp (which aren’t real players btw). The ads were numerous but doable in order to get additional rewards. Fyi, if you choose to skip watching an ad for x3 or to spin again, you still watch an ad, albeit skippable. However, what is really troublesome about this game and why I decided to delete it is the horrendous gameplay. There is no sufficient tutorial or explanation as to what the diff parts of the game mean and how they relate. For example, the battle pass. I didn’t realize I needed to complete daily and weekly quests in order to advance in the battle pass. Once I figured that out, I realized I needed to beat EIGHTY main levels (among other things) in order to get stars to advance in battle pass. Then I noticed with pvp your power means nothing. I had leveled up my unit and tank to almost 2,000 yet I was losing to “players” with not even 1,000. As I googled and researched tips and strategies for the game as well as read Apple reviews, I knew there was no way I was keeping this game so I deleted it and I suggest you do too until the devs make some serious changes to the gameplay. I was able to circumvent this by putting my phone in airplane mode & turning off wifi. Made the game much more enjoyable, but I wasn’t able to do secret missions. However; now? I get ads even after watching one to get a bonus spin, 2 ads, straight in a row. I understand the developers are keen to make money, however there’s smarter ways to go about this. ✓ Misleading “PvP” ModeOh, and ridiculous adds, but enough people gripe about that. No, the devs have a “PvP” mode. Me, being naturally competitive, chose to play and had fun. It immediately thew me into difficult games. It wasn’t until after a good 10 or more matches that I realized something was off. The “players” all have simple names for usernames, they always “connect” exactly on time, and they have, while less so than normal gameplay, predictable playstyles. (For example, AI have a tendency to commit and not change their troop routes.) Oh, and get this: you can go to another app, and the game will be /paused waiting for you/. I wouldn’t mind facing just ai, though a bit more difficult, if it weren’t for the fact that winning just makes the matches more difficult. (Since you get paired against AI with higher lvl troops.) So, you may successfully get trapped in a perpetual loop of upgrading your troops while going against AI whose difficulty ranges from too easy to neigh impossible. I feel bad for anyone who actually invested money into the game in the hopes of doing better in the PvP section of the game..Version: 1.18.3
✓ Levels reset at Lvl 500It’s a mindless game to play while I listen to audiobooks, or podcasts. It only lets you lvl up your soldiers and takes to lvl 15 before you need to pay for sub. ✓ Enjoyable enough, but nowhere near 4.2 starsI have played this games for a week or 2 now. I actually enjoy the majority of the game play and the PvP battles are good. As it stands I have nearly $15k in gold coins but can’t spend them on anything- until I spend actual money. There is no way to progress properly without paying real money. The ads throughout are really bad. Sometime you only have to watch half an ad and other times you have to watch a full ad. Most of the time you’ll spend watching ads instead of playing, I’d say likely 60% ads, 40% gameplay. Despite the ads and the need to spend money it’s a great game. The stages become flat and very very easy, basically they’re only there to feed you more ads. They become that basic. You are given the option of watching an ad to triple your money, but if you don’t chose this option, they make you watch an ad anyway. I’ve paid for the no ads version and it had made the game easier, but the game has others ways to get you to spend money. The highest level of equipment or items is available only to those that spend money. I have noticed that in the PVP mode, the opponents usually have equipment that would cost £200 to buy. ✓ Would love this game but have been ripped offI have loyally played for years. Had amassed an amazing armory, great tanks, cool soldiers, and tons of gold (almost a million). Woke up one morning and couldn’t claim rewards for completing quests. I tried everything possible to fix it, rebooted my phone, checked for an update, updated my phone, rebooted again, contacted support, and still was unable to do anything. Waited a week after contacting support, still received no answer. So I reinstalled the game. Imagine my horror when I realized I had lost everything. INCLUDING my VIP status I had paid for. Reached out to support again after hundreds of attempts to restore my purchase via the game, and I still have not received a response from anyone at Say Games. I am so disappointed. ✓ Describe InsanitySo could be a very fun game. But after recording 200 matches and each of the “random rewards” possibility (5 per victory) I found that the results were far from random. This makes it false advertising or st very least extremely misleading. Naturally this is designed to incentivize you to click the “more chances” option which then runs a commercial and this rewarding you with yet another “random reward” which again is also verifiably not “random” but rather intact favors gold 92% more than the much needed boxes or better rubies. Thus, I recommend passing on this game. It had potential of being a great tower overtake game. Smooth fun. Could use a few more variety options for types of towers or even paths. But it is very slow to progress without spending. And quite honestly even then it’s difficult to progress without spending a lot. $20 to me is fine for entertainment in a game if this caliber. ✓ Ads will take up the majority of your timeThe concept and play of the game are fun themselves. But the ADDDSSS! So many it’s unbelievable. There’s an before during and after each level. Sometimes there will be two ads during the level. Each ad is around 10 seconds (5 second video + 5 second interactive ad) and most of the times you try to close or click out of it to get back to your game it will automatically redirect you to the AppStore. Also, when you have an ad in the middle of the game, you can expect to return to the game having gone on without you. If each level is on average 30 seconds you will spend as much time watching ads as playing the game. If you play 10 levels you can expect to sit through about 5 minutes of ads. ✓ Ads and impossible levelsAs users have pointed out before, the amount of ads during gameplay makes this game frustrating to play when connected to the internet. There are indeed close to 3-5 ads per game that you must watch. On earlier levels, this could easily wait until In between games as the levels usually do not take more than a few minutes. However, the developers clearly think that ads are NEEDED during gameplay as they have responded to other reviews with that thought process. You can still get revenue based on ads in between games. Saying you need to put ads “for functionality and to keep developing the game” simply translates to “I want more money” because there are hundreds of thousands of other games that do not do what is done here. There are games similar to that of this game that does not require ads through the game itself. On top of this, I have found that once you get to around level 150, the game requires you to use boosts to win. Otherwise, there is no technique to win the round. I have tried and failed several times with each level and it’s just not possible. ✓ Too many ads!This game has so many ads that they’re actually LOSING money! If they’d had half as many ads, I’d have played every day for a month or more. Instead I played for maybe half an hour, then uninstalled the app. One forced ad after every 5-10 levels and optional ads for rewards when there is a natural pop up anyway should result in MORE ad revenue due to the increase in play time and player retention. ✓ Fun game, but developers unrealistic.A god way to kill time if you’re waiting for an oil change ect. Levels are very repetitive, they have about 30 maps that they reuse for all their levels, with different “themes” that you can earn at different levels. Said themes don’t actually change anything beyond the border of the levels. The real hilarity comes with the “upgrades” for different troops and tanks. None of them actually affect the play of the game, and no ability to customize colors or appearance. But the best example of lack of self awareness is the repeated attempts to sell “upgraded” character skins for $150 each. 🤣 They claim “deals” on all of them, so they’re selling for $50, but it’s just hilarious and I’m honestly curious if anyone has actually purchased this. You might be able to sell those skins to dumb kids for $5, but $50 is excessive, hilarious, and pointless when you remember that changing the skin has no effect on playing the game..Version: 1.16.2
✓ Upgrade PaywallThe game seemed fine at first. It’s a mobile game my expectations are at the bare minimum to begin with. It’s your standard run of the mill “strategy” game that makes you watch an ad whenever a level is completed, but that’s not the reason for my 1 star review. After playing a while you can upgrade your troops in the menu using coins, the easily collected in game currency. What they make no note of is that after you reach level 15, the only way to continue upgrading your troops is with “upgrade tokens” which seem to be only available for purchase with real money. This on top of the loot box mechanics, battle pass, and ad spamming make this one of the worst apps I’ve seen in terms of predatory marketing tactics. TL;DR: Free to play, but they lock parts of the game’s features behind paywalls once you use them enough..Version: 1.18.7

✓ RepetitiveThe game is great, but once you’ve reached a certain level, there’s no new levels! The old levels are just used again. Last week there were brand new levels with different layouts and new features in the game, but after a couple of days of those, I’m now back to repeating the same old levels again. I also noticed that the images shown in the App store for the game are showing game play that I’ve never seen.. ✓ Overheats phone, laggy, adsI work in software development and usually wouldn’t mind paying a few dollars for a game. I want to support developers. At first they tell you the game is $10. Then it’s $7. Then it’s $5. If the game is $5, just say it’s $5. The pricing is shady. But my biggest concern, and why I wouldn’t pay for this and deleted it off my phone, is how my phone gets OVERHEATED playing this! I’ve never had a game make my phone so hot. I had to take my case off. The longer I played the slower the game got. I had to restart the game every 1-2 levels because it would become so laggy and freeze. And of course the quantity and timing of ads is the worst I’ve ever seen. I understand they need to make money, but… an ad every 30 seconds and interrupting the already short levels? And for what? The visuals are basic and the game is unstable. There is no story line. What are our payments doing to continuously improve the game? ✓ Lives! Seriously??I have played this game for several months now, thoroughly enjoying it, (I found a way around the ads which were VERY annoying). In the last update, you have introduced lives, for this sort of game, it is a deal breaker. For some levels 3 lives do not last very long.. and then you must wait another 30 minutes for a life to generate. I think it is time for this game which was very good to be deleted. Sometimes, trying to monetise the game too much puts people off, such as this. Good bye. Developer response completely disregards what is written in review. ✓ Constantly crashes with no supportThis game WAS great and was a lot of fun to play until around three days ago. After the last game update, the game won’t even open now. Despite sending two “support tickets”, I’ve gotten no response from the developers and no assistance recovering the game. Sadly I had just made significant in-game purchases and I’m afraid if I delete the game and reinstall it, I’ll lose all progress and my purchases. No customer support whatsoever. Download at your own risk EDIT!!: Reading several other recent (within the last week) reviews, it’s obvious the crashing issue is affecting everyone. Also obvious from reading the developer responses is the fact that they neither care nor do they have a decent grasp of the English language. And as I suspected, many people have dumped the app, downloaded it again, and lost all progress, purchases, and are having to start all over again. ✓ Great Game … Crashes Too MuchThis is a really fun and challenging game. It’s great to play, but it freezes and crashes way too much to really enjoy it. I’m running the latest iOS, but the app just shuts off and resets. ✓ Won’t openIt was a really good game but now every time I try to open the app it just takes me back to my Home Screen I’ve tried restarting my phone and it made no difference. ✓ Math skillsThis is a mindless game that is entertaining enough to burn though some time. One of the issue is with all the adds that play, even in the middle of your current game. The adds are relentless and can happen upwards of five times per match, and before and after a match. The adds cause glitching, and if you don’t close and restart the game every few matches to clear the cache of the game, you will actually freeze the game and have to restart the game or even your phone. The glitches will also cause your battery to drop off a cliff, while also causing the battery to get super hot. The other item of note is that the game doesn’t know how to add. If you watch an add to triple your coin take for the match it might tell you, you are getting 210 coins while only giving you somewhere near 160 coins. It also, does not multiply the coins properly for instance if I am suppose to be tripling 110 coins I end up with the 210 previously discussed. I don’t pay money to this game, but would question whether I would even get the correct amount..Version: 1.15.1
✓ InfuriatingI’ve downloaded 100’s of apps and this is the first one I’ve even actually bothered to leave a review on. With that being said, it’s not because it’s a 5 star game. It could be with just a simple tweak… not having ads popup every 15 seconds. Most annoying app I’ve EVER downloaded for sure. Don’t bother playing unless you love watching ads 95% of the time. It’s beyond a joke. & from what I’ve read even if you pay to remove ads it’s only during gameplay, not during levels which only take about 30 seconds to play. ✓ This used to be a fantastic game… until the developer got greedy and introduced the 2 “super-units”. Priced them at $100 each (apparently a GREAT VALUE discount from their usual price of $300 LOL), made them ridiculously overpowered, and made it so the computer opponents always get them. You basically hit a paywall at a certain point and have to shell out $200 if you want to continue playing. “No ads feature”? ✓ Ripped off.The game is great, but the ads are crazy. Then you came up with the option to buy the ad free version, so then it’s great again. But no, you couldn’t leave it that way. ✓ Amount of ads are unbelievableI just downloaded this game today. While the game is good, this is the only one I was so shocked by the number of ads. Usually the games come with ads for every 2 - 3 levels. This one is accompanied by one for each level. I have never seen a game that plays the entire 30 - 45 seconds ad for each level. This is the first one and honestly if the price is much cheaper, I wouldn’t mind paying, but this is honestly too expensive, so I won’t be paying for it and very likely will be deleting from nt phone.Version: 1.18.3
