Please be careful, I right away called my bank and think I nipped it in the bud, but I need to get new cards, new bank accounts and all new passwords to my apps. Person I spoke with whom I thought was a help support team member for Apple asked me to download this app. He then asked me to open various screens which identified my name and Apple Pay so he could see last 4 digits of credit card. He then told me someone was trying to purchase cryptocurrency using my bank info. He asked me to look and see if I had seen alerts from my bank telling me of the attempts. When I opened my bank app, he could see last 4 digits of my bank accounts. When I questioned him what all this had to do with my iPhone issue, he abruptly hung up.
