✓ LOVE it!I grew up with the original games during the Genesis era and had a blast playing SoR 4 prior on PS4. Everything about it was a love letter to the original games, but it also brought a modern sheen to it. Imagine my excitement when I found out it was getting an iOS port. ✓ Way Past Cool!Character designs look cool. Also it’s not impossible to play like the first 3 games. Plays easier with a controller though, so I still recommend the console version more. However playing this on your phone and on the go is still enjoyable. Thanks for bringing Adam back! The original 3 characters are the best..Version: 1.03
✓ Brilliant gameThis is a faithful conversion of the console/OC game, and if you’ve never played it it’s a love letter to the original trilogy. The app on iOS is not without problems though. The first is brightness. It doesn’t have brightness adjustment, and even at maximum screen brightness the game at times is too dark. If you have auto brightness enabled; the brightness of the game changes noticeably during gameplay. The only way to avoid this is to disable auto brightness; and re-enable it when you finish playing. This could be avoided with a dedicated brightness control for the game. The second issue concerns multiplayer. Even if you and a friend both have the game; you can only invite each other if you are both on the same wifi network. Want to play with friends in different locations? Forget it; it’s not possible. When you search public games; you will not find anyone else to play with, so it’s mainly a single player game. As is dual for touch screen fighting games; the controls are adequate for lower difficulties but at any difficulty above normal you are going to need a a dedicated controller or you will keep finding yourself stuck in the corners of the screen under the buttons where your fingers are which makes it impossible due to the increased speed and aggression of enemies. Other than those issues it’s well worth the money; but fixing these 2 simple things would make it 5 stars. iPhone 12 Pro iOS 16.0.3.Version: 1.08

The screen can get very full in later stages and higher difficulty settings. The game will crash if you reply to a text. Locking your phone while in-app, you’re fine. Leave the app, it’s very likely to crash. Very annoying..Version: 1.03

✓ Almost PerfectI have the PC version which is modeled off of the consoles. One function mechanic that I wish would work is when you choose the air master perk in survival. In this version It does not allow you to jump after your combos or moves rendering the perk absolutely useless. That’s the biggest bug that I’ve noticed so far.Version: 1.05

✓ Please add multiplayer bluetooth controller supportAs a single player experience, this runs every bit as well as the console version - smooth update, minimal input lag etc. I’m deducting one star due to local multiplayer not working. If you connect multiple bluetooth controllers, they are all recognised as the player one controller in game. I hope this issue can be fixed in a future update..Version: 1.09
✓ What a gorgeous game!!!!The artwork was an easy buy for me! So much depth to the combo system too! I can’t help but think that this has some Street Fighter inspo to it: the combo system, Blaze’s Kikoshou (Chun-Li’s fireball move), Axels Dragon Upper (Ken’s Shoryuken).. sooo good! I’m going to get an Xbox or PS4 controller and play again! What it does looks though is the co-op feature. These games were made for that! Will there be an update for that soon?.Version: 1.05

I’ve not picked up this BEAUTIFUL port on iOS. With a Backbone controller, this game is perfect. I don’t know how to continue to send the team the message that the fans want more of this, but I’m not subtle. This game is incredible enough for me to buy THRICE. ✓ Almost perfectCore game itself is amazing and fun. The only problems this port has are some gameplay bugs that aren’t present in console versions - for example Survival mode with SoR4 Shiva: a lot of bonuses don’t work for him since he can’t pickup weapons, and in the console versions those bonuses become a random perk instead, but instead those bonuses stay the same and don’t do anything for him. Another example is the double jump bonus. In the console ports you can jump, attack, and jump-cancel to do the double jump and attack again. Not so with this mobile port. Also, because the UI itself takes up a lot of space to accommodate on-screen touch controls, it becomes very hard to see enemies in certain areas. If there was a way to adjust opacity and support keyboard controls, that would be FANTASTIC. Apart from porting bugs, this game is AMAZING, and congrats to the team for porting it over to mobile devices..Version: 1.05

You can still choose and select them if you move the joy stick around on a controller but the graphic is gone so if you don’t have a controller there is no way to see or select unlocked moves. ✓ So Thankful!I am so happy that SOR4 is on iOS. These type of games are so well suited for handheld gaming. Haven’t had any game play issues. Although worthy of 5 stars now, there are still music syncing issues, music inconsistencies and transitions between rooms and inner stage levels are choppy. All minor is at the moment.
