✓ I want to see more…do moreI love this game it’s a lot of fun, I really hope they expand on it, I wish they would give you a college portion, an area to see how your friendships are going, and way more romance then what we have in there. It would be cool to see them expand clothing, hair, and adding make up. I’m glad they added a bit of diversity in the game. It’s overall a really great game but it can be so much more. It’s just like Chinese parents but they both have their differences to say the least. It is like like, it would be cool if they offered some of the life stuff in there like the house you’ll end up choosing. If there was more to this game I do think that it would be good for switch like a college and young adult section to chose your career and marriage and etc. I wish that it was more like it needs more spice..Version: 1.0
✓ Pretty fun, but is it worth it.Finished the game pretty quickly. Wish I had more to do. More choices, college, more customization for my character, and more people to befriend. ✓ Ups and downsI love this game, so so so much. It’s really fun, addictive, and changes (at least a bit), every time. One thing though, which irritates me so much, is the SAT exam. I’ve played this game through 6 or 7 times, and I have never gotten above a D. It is incredibly frustrating, especially after pursuing a whole law career, to turn out as a nanny. Other than that, the game is great, if not a bit repetitive..Version: 1.0

✓ A Game That’s Worth It.I love this game so much! I’ve finished to games so far and have been really enjoyed it. I do have a few minor issues but it’s not enough to make me ditch the game. I would love the option to hangout with certain characters/friends too instead of it always being a random character. If it were a mix of choosing to hangout with someone and having events with random characters, that would be amazing. I think being able to worry less about our parents’ thoughts/meter would be great too. It does add difficulty to the game, which i do kinda enjoy, because in a way, it’s fairly realistic with our own lives. Nonetheless, being able to choose difficulty within the game would be a great addition. The game really is amazing though! I love the art, soundtracks, and idea of it. Meeting many different characters and seeing their unique lives is also pretty cool!.Version: 1.0

✓ 10 out of 10 would recommend but…Absolutely amazing game! The day I got it I stayed up all night playing it, a few complaints I have is that it can be a bit complicated and confusing with the traits like charm, intelligence, etc. it’s very hard to keep up with what classes are necessary and what classes aren’t and while playing the game I have met the same people over and over again it gets kinda annoying when it happens. Other than that it’s a amazing game with great art and stories I just wish you could play past 18 like go to university/college like actually witness your characters life before playing the next generation also the parents (from my experience) are very generic like they don’t retain any qualities of when you played them which is a bit upsetting at times the game feels like the exact some story over and over again don’t get me wrong I love the game just wish it had more to it..Version: 1.0

✓ 10/10Honestly it is a bit overpriced but it is 100% worth it! I have spent hours on it and I love the backstories!! My only suggestion is to let high school be a bit longer to max out levels to get to A grade..Version: 1.0

✓ Game is fun but battery suckerUpdate: I own this game on steam also. I have played it probably 10 times now and really enjoy all the different characters and how you slowly bond with them. I have tried different professions and I think the higher the SAT score at the end with the career path you have gone farthest with combine to decide how well you did in that job. The best I’ve had was an Olympic swimmer. Game is really great but it makes the phone really hot and really drains the battery. I hope that gets fixed in an update..Version: 1.0

✓ Lots to discussOkay, so I’ve played this game almost 4 times now. I think instead of worrying about how your parents feel about you, you should be able to do what YOU want and also if you fail out of school there is consequences, like no allowance, no doing out for a couple turns. Also, I wish the game was way longer, I’ve never became anything other than an employee at RadioShack because the game is so short and it’s too hard to even wrack up the proper skills to become anything else. Even with 89 percent exam readiness, I still cannot pass the SAT?? I would just like; longer gameplay, less worrying about parents, more stamina to do more throughout the game, easier to boost skills, easier to find a proper job. Plus my battery drains super fast and hopefully that gets fixed too!! And I know this all seems mean to say. But, I do also enjoy the game!!! The different personalities in each character, the beautiful scenery, the different jobs you COULD get if you tried hard enough..Version: 1.0

✓ Solid game but SAT exam is near impossibleThe game itself is extremely fun and I love the fact that you can play as your kid but the SAT exam is almost impossible to get higher than a C. My character always ends up as a babysitter or RadioShack employee because I can never get higher than a D. I do fine on all the other exams and my preparedness score is quite high. ✓ Maybe add some more stuff...This is an absolutely amazing game but I would like to suggest some things. During middle school Richard ( if you get him as a friend) will once say he's got loads of siblings. So basically, it would be nice if you added siblings when you are born or after your born. And maybe add a family tree to look at! Apart from that, this is a fun game. I absolutely love it. As soon as I started playing with it I was obsessed with it. So great job 👍. I with the parents were a bit more versatile though and am kind of disappointed that you don't work through university or adulthood, the outcomes I just kind of rushed there unfortunately. ✓ Fun for what it isI enjoyed this game, but I think it’s important to understand what it is and what it is not. Going in I expected more of an RPG/visual novel experience, “make choices to decide your future”. There are aspects of that in your interactions with your parents and friends, but it is first and foremost a simulation - a very abstract one based around scheduling studies and hobbies to raise your attributes and “exam readiness” whilst balancing “mental health” and “parental approval” stats. This leads to some weird dissonance in that your parents in the game are portrayed as kind and supportive through dialogue and cutscenes, whilst the game mechanics portray them as ruthless taskmasters who “approve” of your character working themselves to exhaustion and “disapprove” of them doing anything fun or relaxing. All in all, whilst the boardgame-style mechanics paired with the nostalgic artwork and music do provide a fun distraction for an hour or two I think a more character- and story-driven experience would have better served the sentimental childhood-nostalgia vibe the game is going for. But maybe that’s just me wishing the game was something it’s not..Version: 1.0

The art was cute and the characterizations were fun. However, by the second run-through, I was already getting repetitive options and by the third it honestly felt pretty identical. ✓ Wonderful but Heating ProblemI have been playing this game non stop for days now and I love how much contents it offers! I’m considering to also get the Steam version to play this every where and also because this game drains my phone battery like crazy, heats up after 20 minutes every time. ✓ Great game, some caviatsI LOVE this game. I get on it like 5 times a day. The story is captivating, the gameplay is fun. However, there are some things that make me hopeful for the future development. The good sides: the game is a great way to pass time. It’s fun to manage your health and parents’ opinion. The characters are fun, and there is LOTS to do. The bad sides: the game has TOO MUCH to do. Because you only get so much energy and only so many spaces for schedules, more than half the things you CAN do, you CANT do. It makes me sad, because i’d love to buy all the items i can and make the game so much more bearable. Also, some of the penalties are INSANE. Your parents’ opinion of you goes down 8 points for playing RPG?? The constant struggle of getting approval is tiring, and that also contributes to the lack of available game features. Also, i wish the game went a bit further. Maybe slow down the time, or increase the age that you can play to. When i first saw the ad and the introduction, i thought that most of your life up to 18 would be restricted, then up from that would be all on your own. You could get married, break up, become a crippling alcoholic (jk). But seriously, working to do all of my school work and then the game ending with: “this is how the rest of your life will be because of the options you chose” is kinda saddening. Just my opinion, though. Will the devs listen to me and change the game? Or will they find an audience that likes it as is and i move on? Either way, thanks for reading..Version: 1.0
✓ Amazing!!!I noticed that a lot of people in the reviews were complaining about how finishing this game to get a good ending was nearly impossible, but I got a good score on my first run. I have determined that this is a game all about skill and strategy, along with a lot of patience. I do agree however that the SAT is a bit harder than it needed to be because I was 100% ready for it and still only got a B. I think that this game is a ten out of ten would recommend.
