✓ A Desktop Freeware Classic Now On iPhone (YAY!)Longtime PS user here; I’ve spent at least several hundred hours tweaking the desktop standalone for sound design, analysis, and learning about mathematical window functions. Heck, I’ve even based a whole musical side project on PaulStretch. So imagine my extreme delight to see an excellent iOS port of the source code with a great UI and best of all FREE, just like the original. ✓ Incredible sonic manipulation! 🐠You have to explore this amazing sound tool to fully appreciate its brilliance but it’s hard not to be blown away by the diverse gamut of sounds that can be teased, generated, and manipulated in real time (or otherwise) from literally anything (field recordings, samples, creative sound capture etc). I can’t believe the developers kind enough to provide access to this for free but I would happily support any further development as this is an incredible sound design tool and provides some truly magical sonic abilities.
