✓ Could be a 4 star but..Hi! Before I start I want to say all of these complaints and compliments are all my opinion and there are different experiences for everyone.. So I found this game has a lot and I mean A LOT of adds. I’m only on level three and it was quite hard and I have been stuck on it for a couple of days now and only just finished it. I don’t think its a very fair game on me either. I like to play the game when I am bored too! It is quite fun to play when I have nothing else. So that’s always a plus. ✓ Game is fine, Ads are annoyingI like this game and a lot of other people do to, but I have a really big problem with this game: Too many ads. I understand that you are a small game developer/ company and you need to make money but there are so many more ads than what you need. The game consists of 70% Ads and 30% gameplay. Along with that, the ads are mostly mid match. I will just be trying to get the ball through the hoop when all of a sudden an ad pops up. Please limit your ads and I will reconsider this review. ✓ Please ReadDear developers, this game is a joke. I’m playing an advertisement. You get through one 30 second game (if ur lucky without an ad popping up halfway through the game) just to get met with an advertisement after each game. 30 seconds of an advertisement to get 30 seconds of game play sounds fun!!!! This game might as well be 2.99 because it’s almost unplayable without having the no advertisements IAP. Then on top of that you can’t play without wifi, so you basically are being forced to consume more ads then gameplay. Don’t get me wrong this game is fun and very unique hence why i am writing this review. Normally i would just delete a game if it’s this ridden with ads but i have hope to be able to play this game without being swarmed by ads. Please developers remove the ads, make this game playable without wifi, or make the no advertisement purchase $1. ✓ Fun game, but TOO MANY ADS!I understand the need to have ads in order to keep the game free, but game is almost unplayable because of them. The gameplay is actually quite fun, but having EVERY match interrupted MANY times by full-length ads slows down the app and completely ruins the experience. ✓ This Game is StupidThe game gives me ads every time I’m about to win because it randomly spawns a lucky block. This is mostly RNG, with few skills you can actually use. The game is fun and has a nice art style and concept but my main problem is that an ad would appear every 25 seconds or so. I just find it really annoying. The ads are constantly coming in the middle of a round I’m playing and the opposite player is in the same place they was before the round. ✓ Lazy DevelopersI can’t possibly fathom how someone can make a game so lazily. This is one of the most simplistic games ever, and yet they still can’t make it work properly. For starters, the goal sensors are horrifically bad. For both you and the AI, the game will often not detect that a goal has been scored. Additionally, you can sometimes score from below the net by just hitting the bottom of the rim. I have never seen anything work this badly in a video game before, especially not one of the most important parts of said game. Secondly, there are very few maps. Like, 5 or 6 of them. These maps are so easy to make, you just put the net somewhere, then place a couple of squares. More than half of the maps contain less than 5 tiles. Because of this, you are constantly cycling between the same few maps, which get old quite quickly. Third, there is no variation in reward for each level. It doesn’t matter how much you win by, or what your score is, you get the same 50 coins every single game. It’s crazy how something so small can have such a huge impact on the feel of the game. Now I’ll just list some missing features or otherwise unsatisfactory things about this game. There are only 9 cosmetics that you can buy with coins, the rest are only available through watching ads. It doesn’t take long to start stacking up on coins with nothing to spend them on. There is no progression of difficulty. The AI seem to be given a random difficulty every game, which contributes more to the feeling that there’s no progress whatsoever. At the end of every game, you have the opportunity to watch up to 4 ads for rewards… and if you choose not to, you have to wait a few seconds before you can decline the offer. The amount of time spent in between levels really builds up, and is incredibly annoying - keep in mind, this is without even considering the constant ads that pop up if you have wifi on. There is only one game mode, and you never get any challenges or anything for there to be any variation in what you’re doing. Even games like Dune! by VooDoo (a company notorious for making low effort games) have numerous challenge levels with at least some variation for you. How hard would it be to put a little timer in the corner and have you try to score X number of goals, or get X number of points. Lastly, the developers spent their time animating a stupid little dance for your character to do when you equip a new cosmetic. This is more a pet peeve than an actual issue, but the dance is stupid and makes me want to punch my character in the face, which sadly isn’t a feature of the game. It just shows how the people who made this game decided to spend their time animating a dance instead of adding desperately-needed bugfixes for the gameplay. Supporting games like this motivates game developers to create low effort games filled with ads to make as much money as they can without actually needing to do any work. Games like these are the problem with the mobile gaming industry, and it frustrates me to see how many of them there are..Version: 0.7
✓ The ads are ruining your gameI couldn’t stand the amount of ads I received playing this game, when the limited time offer for no ads for a dollar that actually turned out to be a dollar fifty came up I bought it in the hopes that this game might be better to play. But no. No power ups, no multiplying scores nothing. All it does is get rid of the ads pre, mid and after game which honestly shouldn’t even be there in the first place. And dont even get me started on the bonus levels. In no universe would I ever want to be FORCED to watch an entire ad just to play a little game I have no choice to play. I would rather have the option just to skip the bonus games entirely. ✓ SO MANY ADSI got this game, and I kept getting ads. But I thought that was pretty reasonable, since it’s a pretty small game. But after playing it for a while I was getting 2-4 ads per game. Curious I thought I should test this and get an average. The average was an ad per 10 seconds of playing. I think that is ridiculous even for a small game. How am I meant to play when I’m getting un-skip able ads that last 30 seconds every 10 seconds. I’m only spending a QUARTER of my valuable time actually playing the game. ✓ Good game TERRIBLE ADVERTS.Can I just say this game is really good and it would be a regular game I would play if it weren’t for the ads. It can be easy and challenging against the bots, so it never gets old. But one thing that does get old are the ads. ✓ Laggy, underdeveloped money-grabbing game.I have a fairly good phone. My phone can run a lot of things, but this one game straight up fries my computer. Whenever I open the game, my phone is 10 times slower than it usually is. Even when the tab is open and I’m at my Home Screen, everything is still extremely slow. I believe this is because the game is trying to load tons of ads at once. That also brings me to another point. This game has way too many ads. I know, you may be thinking that it’s just how they make money. HOWEVER, these ads pop up even in the middle of games, making a very large lag spike and making the game unplayable. And also, if you check out the developer’s page, you could already tell that they are the type of company to just crank out low-quality games knowing they can make money off of the abundance of ads. Also, a lot of people talk about the fake multiplayer, and it’s 100% true. It is obvious that there is no multiplayer, since ads can go on in the middle of a round and everything can go back to normal afterwards. Also, I would like to point out that you need an internet connection to play this, even though there is clearly no multiplayer. ✓ How to Enjoy the game without ads (for free)As everyone has already detailed this game has a major advert issue which essentially is the constant and frequent playing of ads mid game despite giving you any warning or any instruction on why you get the ads. I believe the ad layout are on timers so even if you’re playing you will be interrupted. This causes players to struggle to keep playing as it can be very frustrating and break the games playability and enjoyability. Thankfully this game is against only AI so you can play without internet connected. Simply disconnect and the ads will not appear. The only downside is that certain features such as accelerating the gift percentage is locked and getting gifts in general is locked. It literally just means everything accessed by ads is unavailable but I’m sure if you’re fast enough you can reconnect and still get these ad rewards. For those that didn’t understand: Disconnect from wifi, enjoy. Note to developers and marketing team: The game is fun but seriously… There’s enough ads advocated through rewards and there’s even ads whilst playing at the bottom of the screen. To any mobile game developer just put ads after the player finishes an objective or actively interacts with something. You’ll have a more positive notoriety and it won’t make people hate the game so much. If this is removed (it probably will be) then I’ll just come back and say it again and again. The game is obviously not multiplayer because you slow down time when you pick up the ball, and ads play in the middle of the game. So this brings up the question, why does it need internet? Well the truth is, it doesn’t, the devs just need a way to get money. When you don’t have an internet connection, the game just stops and whenever you try to click on the screen it says “no internet connection” and doesn’t let you do anything. It obviously does not require a connection, because it’s just tapping on a ball to teleport to it in a single player game. ✓ Can’t play offlineSo to get rid of the issues mentioned by other members I paid for the game but it will not let me play without an internet connection. This is very annoying as there’s no online element to it? If the need for internet is just for the ads that is even worse because I have paid for ad free? Absolutely ridiculous. ✓ Typical mobile gameI downloaded the game from an ad I saw of it. It was fun and I thought it could be a cool game for when I was bored, but I guess I thought to much of this game as it punishes you with ads constantly. The tactic of these game developers are to mass produce hundred of low quality games, and feed you as much ads as possible to bring in tons of money without considering the amount of ads they’re giving you. To prove my point further look at this developers game releases and you’d witness the dozens of crappy low quality games with millions of ads..Version: 2.0
✓ The game is a fantastic idea but..I have a lot of fun in this game, it is very creative and engaging. BUT, the ads are seriously out of hand. Every couple of seconds there are just ads after ads popping up, even in game... Please, relax with the ads. ✓ Once again, too many ads.I have read many reviews complaining about how there’s too many ads and how the game is money-grabbing. This is true, but let’s talk about the MULTIPLAYER. First of all, if you download any “multiplayer” game and you cant change your name, ITS FAKE. If I was playing against REAL PLAYERS, they wouldn’t let me just bully them in a corner with a basketball. But anyways, I get ads EVERY 45 SECONDS. You get ads in the middle of A ONE MINUTE MIDDLE BATTLE AND AT THE END. They even forced me to watch one for a bonus! This game might be good for curing boredom but there is way too many ads. Your game is literally a joke and I bet barely 6 people have rated it 5 stars. There is no way you should have this many bad reviews that are TRUE, and get called out for being money-hungry. I know for a FACT this is true because I have not seen ONE SINGLE response from the developers..Version: 1.7.1
