✓ Defending is brokenI have deleted and installed this game 3 times in hope that the defence is fixed. As an experiment to see if it is broken, I have been several different teams in several different counties in different leagues, I have bought the best defenders in the world, tried every different tactic possible and end up conceding every match multiple goals, The “data hub” says The same problem with every team is that the defence is shaky and must fix, but it doesn’t tell you how!!! Please please fix this or it will deleted once more. I have researched other people if the have the same issue and it looks like everyone has the same issue!!! This kinda problem is throw your phone worthy PLEAS FIX ASAP.Version: 1.7

✓ Great but very annoyingI love FM in general so I was excited about this way before release. Imo it’s playable but it’s ridiculously difficult to select certain options/actions/players due to the super small icons. Good luck trying to chose a player out of a list of players, you’d have to do it 2 times to register the click then have to do it 2 more times to select the right one. I really hope this gets updated soon. Maybe it’s better on the bigger iPad screen..Version: 1.6

✓ A great game, poorly optimizedPlaying this game is like trying to use a desktop version of a website on your phone. All of the features are there, right where you’d think they’d be, but actually interacting with them is the hard part. For example, scrolling through a list of players in your tactics screen will inevitably end up swapping your goalie and your striker. This is a small issue in a vacuum, but there’s small issues like this throughout the game. Despite being called “touch”, this still plays like it’s made for mouse & keyboard. And that’s crippling for a game with as much to click as this one..Version: 1.4

✓ Overheating and bad UI.I don’t know if this normal but this is the only app that overheats my iPhone 12, I’m worried for my battery which is one year old which is why I’ve left this game after two seasons. Transfers are difficult, I have to search for players individually as they never really came up in the scouting phase. Screen doesn’t always hold all the information and I have many times chosen something completely wrong as the options are squeezed so close together. My team is apparently one of the strongest in Europe but I hardly ever win in Europe. My players decide to play slow, bad pass or have 20 shots and one on target. Awful. I may try the other version of football manager as I’ve never had any problems before..Version: 1.11
✓ Good game but with a few bugsThe one aspect that I love about this game is it’s likeness to the pc engine, but there is a couple of bugs that are very annoying. During the goal highlights for instance there is a lapse. It is very slow and annoying to watch as it appears to buffer between frames. Also, since the new update, when you search for players the game always crashes and kicks me out, so I need to reload. Please fix these issues..Version: 1.10
✓ Unrealistic transfers valueHello developers, I have been a fan of FM games and I enjoy playing them but I’m currently playing the arcade version. This game is good, I spend a total of 7 plus hours a week on the game but it’s really annoying because of how unrealistic it is. One is the TRANSFER VALUES in this game. Almost everyone in this game is like worth $300 millions. A two start or 3 start academy player shouldn’t be that expensive. I have my team in the premier league and I can barely survive because I get $40 millions to spend in the transfer market but that can barely get me a decent player. even when you manage to sign a player, they request a contract that no one can afford. I signed Isak and he asked for $15 Millions. That’s ridiculous, it’s hard to build a team if you can’t buy any players. Please Change the transfer market..Version: 1.9
✓ My arsenal team can’t win anythingYes the simulations of your game make absolutely no sense I’m in a arsenal one and we are 4 and a half star reputation but we have lost 4 games in a row to stoke Fulham Nottingham forest and Sheffield. We lost 4-0 to bloody stoke. 5-0 to Fulham. 2-0 to Nottingham forest. 5-1 to Sheffield united and I am last it makes no sense at all. Second of all I sold saka for 140 million all in one go guess how much I get back 60 million. I absolutely hate this app and I already think about deleting it. ✓ Very good but very priceyHaving played fm for over 10 years the game is addictive as ever. There are some bugs and the scouting feature rarely works well for me. Nonetheless if this was purely on gameplay for an iPhone game it would get 4.5 stars (still not as good as the real thing) My issue is around pricing. I subscribed to Apple Arcade to only play this game and nothing else. At 5 pounds a month that’s 60 pounds a year for a game which is less comprehensive then the full version for pc. I would easily pay 25 - 30 pounds for this game but have unfortunately had to unsubscribe due to the cost of the game. With the cost of living and everything else meaning I have to focus on my outgoings this game is unjustifiably expensive. Please release next years version as a one off payment..Version: 1.12
✓ Custom team brokenLooks like this would be fun. On my iPhone I cannot select any team/language/ anything that requires a search menu to select. The search works but if you attempt to make a selection the results disappear and no selection is made. I like making my own team and this makes it impossible..Version: 1.12
✓ Transfer bug limits use massivelyWhen setting transfer instalment figures manually, it either resets when hiding the keyboard or crashes the whole thing when pressing return, so either way you can’t set the custom value you want. ✓ Game is good, but needs a heck of improvementsI've been playing Football manager mobile for years and I decided to play this years Touch because who wouldn't want to try seeing 3D on mobile? But what? The game is full of errors, my search bar isn't working, I can't select anything I search, player technical ability doesn't even develop despite having 5 star potential ability, a lot of crushes, I will be playing the FM mobile for now, the Touch is a waste of money..Version: 1.6

Cup draws always draw the league team you are playing before/during/after the league. Essentially you are playing the same team 3 times in a row. ✓ Good game but totally unplayableThe game is excellent but is made totally unplayable because of: - tiny tiny tiny buttons making it very hard to use on an iPhone 14 - constant crash when trying to explore stats at the end of a game (meaning the match result is not saved so you have to start the game… again). ✓ Some bug, a lot to improve, but very happyI played many FM on PC (also when the name was Championship manager) and I was surprised to see it on the Apple Store for ipad. The game is really addictive and probably it is the only reason for me to have the Apple Arcade subscription. There are many bugs, sometime the match animation doesn’t work, the mood of some player seems weird (I understood a player doesn’t like to enter from the bench, but I don’t expect a similar reaction during a big match or champions league final), the players ask for contract extension asking for x4/x5 their current salary (a bit unrealistic) and the price of the players skyrocket after the first season. In any case I really nice game and I can’t wait to see the improvements. Note: I played with ac Milan, and in my first season Giroud, 35 years old player, scored 33 goals… also in this case, a bit unrealistic..Version: 1.12
✓ AnnoyingI thought this would be an upgrade for the FM23 original game because the touch version has gameplay. But it’s not. It’s a downgrade. Not only is the Home Screen frustrating and navigation, but you can’t talk to players on this version unless your shouting from the touch line, the graphics aren’t very good in the game play, the tactics have very little effect on the overall scoreline and you get harassed by recruitment every two minutes. The worst part is as I said the navigation. It should be so simple but instead the normal things you’d do takes ages to navigate through. Need a very lot of work. Need to upgrade the gameplay and definitely need to sort the training out. I doubt they care anyway because they’re making money..Version: 1.12
✓ Random closing and losing saved game dataNeed to sort the random closing, click on a player to sub on and it’ll close the game and I’ll lose the saved data having to restart from the match before. I have just got to the final of the fa cup with a barren Hull city FC squad justo for the game to close and lose my saved data which resulted me losing the semi final against Leeds which I had just won 4-1👍🏻.Version: 1.10

✓ In game bugsI’m enjoying the game but there a few issues that need addressing I’m having a major issue with transfer negotiation, when trying to negotiate price it won’t let me enter a price if I enter a mandatory future fee, I have to save it every time before I can change the amount Injuries my god where do I start with injuries, I know it’s part and parcel of football, but every other game I get minimum of 2 players out injured for a minimum of 4-6 weeks, surely that’s not how it should be Transfer market, I have to pay over odds for players yet AI want your players well under player valuation and if you don’t except your stuck with players cos you can’t sell them AI is so overpowered, it works out weaknesses in your tactics no matter how many times you change them, just feels like your tactics never work Like I said I do enjoy the game but If these issues where sorted the game would get a full 5 stars.Version: 1.12

✓ Not realistic game playWorst one I have played in all my years playing this game. In one highlight alone there was 9 unforced errors between both teams. When has that ever happened in 1 minute of a real game? Also seems to be whoever has the least possession wins the match 90% of the time. Injury list is usually at least 8 at a time.. and no matter the pace of your player he will lose a chase with any other player on the opposite team. Seems the stats have no impact on player performance even basic ones like speed. That are out of the managers control.. I got Apple Arcade just for this game but I will not be renewing my membership because it’s not realistic.Version: 1.7

✓ Terrible FPS spike/drop in Replay in all camera except 2D. Please fix ASAPFM24T first impressions : Pros : 1. Really loved the new player movements/reactions/animations 2. Better stable fps in Live 3D match engine 3. Cool new concepts added, still wished Defending Formation added to the game since this year’s player movements are really2 good. Cons : 1. Terrible inconsistent fps spike/drop in any kind of Replay keep all my devices overheating very easily. Can’t watch any kind of Replay in all camera mode except 2D. This tested from 2 iPhone and 1 iPad all different model ranging to quite old to relatively new devices. Please fix this glaring issue ASAP. 2. Can’t go to Tactic at half time in iPhone version. It was totally fine at iPad version. 3. New iPhone UI this year is soo annoying really hard to navigate around, prefer the last year’s UI version so much easier to use. 4. iPhone in game 3D match engine tactic etc Buttons should be more transparent while not in use since it’s really blocking the game views. Wished there’s an option to report these kind a issues since I do took screenshots and videos regarding these problems. So glad touch version is back and not having to play mobile version as I play on iPad I Don’t like that in this years addition you can’t buy unlockables anymore for example cash grants. Was 4 seasons in and noticed the new special unlockable so I applied both then made the hard decision to start a new game and delete previous game save not knowing this is a one time unlockable and so now I cannot get £200m and dream signing. Returning to this franchise for the first time since childhood, I was instantly addicted by how in-depth and holistic the role of the player is. However, the near-complete inability to use the scroll function on most of the screen is such a profound flaw, it really inhibits the quality of the game. There are certain things that are so difficult not to do using the touch screen, that it’s easier not to bother. This game urgently requires an overhaul of the interface to make it more appropriate for iPhone. ✓ An enjoyable game but too many bugs.I really enjoy this game, I think it’s great, but when you create your own club, certain things don’t work. It will not allow me to add any affiliations or relationships, cannot add rivals, favoured people or even name stadiums after icons and legends. Also, I don’t like how the scout reports for adding players to your ‘dream team’ are completely different to when you start playing the game. The continue (move forward)/ play / pause button freezes and I have to press many times for it to work. Team talks are buggy. It will come up with a reaction for the player after a team talk, but it instantly changes afterwards. And one thing I thought wouldn’t happen like other football games considering this is football manager is that every single game I play the other team concedes, no matter how good my team is. On my first season I won 2 trophies, but after the first season of playing it seems that you start doing worse so that you get sacked. Even keeping tactics the same which make you win. If these issues are sorted out, this game definitely would be a 5 star, but for now I have to rate this game a solid 3..Version: 1.7

✓ InjuriesThis game is fun but oh my god every game one of my players is getting injured and its not like they are all injury prone. it just gets really annoying when i have 11 first team players all injured at the same. and then because of that i lose all my games and the game isn’t fun. like my team just gave up 30 shots against aston villa in 3-0 loss, and i have 2 of the best center backs in the world. it makes no sense why in that one game my players gave up that many shots, where we were consistently only giving up 2-3 per game..Version: 1.12
✓ Interface issuesUsing an iPhone to play this is painful when navigating your squad or any kind of list. The scrolling is so frustrating to use with it either not doing anything or selecting a random player on that list. Also getting a decent overview of your squad positions isn’t there so I can’t see where players should be, not a problem if your Man City but not great when I’m managing a club in non league. The font on the game is so small on my 65” tv, I literally have to stand a couple of feet away to read what’s on the screen. At first I thought this was only an issue on my iPhone, but soon found out it’s an issue with the game itself. Now I know it’s the Apple Arcade version because my son connected his Xbox & I could read everything clearly from my seat. You'd get the Arcade loading animation, confirmation that I'd been signed in to Game Centre, but then nothing else, just a plain black screen that doesn't change. ✓ Good gameJust as good as FM23 Touch, enjoyable enough and the graphics aren’t bad at all, but one big niggle I have is the lack of player profile images. Might just be me, but I do not like playing as a team with a bunch of blank profile images, so it kind of limits me to who I can play with, and again, I tend to avoid buying players with no profile image as well, so limiting my experience. I’m sure lots of players won’t be bothered with this, but I don’t understand why you’d release the game with lots of team players pictures being there, yet so many teams not having proper profile images. ✓ Good but not greatLike the regular game, it had option to save and load tactics etc. unfortunately the root folder doesn’t go any further into the apple device files, or can’t use anything on the cloud. Would be great if this could be fixed. Also if you leave the game to use and app or for instance take a call, text. The game closes, and forces a recovered save. ✓ Frustrated with the ‘design your own son’ featureThe developers have known about a problem we have had with the designing of our son feature for many months, and have failed to address it. We cannot scroll down when dealing with the characters attributes, selecting some of their positions like ST etc. I have seen on their website forum that they have been aware of these issues since December (if not earlier). When do you plan on addressing this? By the time 2024 comes out? Wage budget gaps are crippling from the start, penalties given away every other game, VAR seems against you all the time, mistakes made constantly from defenders, tell the keeper to pass short and kicks long, feels broken this game. Had FM since 2005 on pc and first game I’m generally uninstalling and the scrolling is terrible on the touchscreen..Version: 1.12
✓ Great but….I actually really like this game, however injuries has ruined it for me. So many of players were getting injured and never recovering from them. It became impossible to score goals because I lost so many attacking players and inevitably got sacked as I was losing pretty much every game 1-0.Version: 1.12
✓ Probably a good gameThere’s probably a good game buried somewhere in this horrible port but it’s not worth it for me to try to find it until this gets fixed. Menus are completely broken. Edit: devs responded and it still seems broken? Devs: I like to play custom games where I create teams and players. Your team and player creation menus are broken in this port. Try to create a player and tell the game what languages he speaks. You can search in the menu, but there is seemingly no way to select anything. Several menus have this same problem. I’ll update this review when I can get through the creation menus with every part actually working..Version: 1.5
✓ Unlockables “relocked”Firstly it has to be said, this is an excellent version of Football Manager. The playability aspect takes me back to classic versions. However, sadly there are glitches. Having been at a club for 10 years I unlocked all of the unlockables. Within a season these then “relocked” without me using all of them and they remain locked despite me having achieved the required level to unlock them. If this is improved then definitely a 5 star game..Version: 1.10
✓ Good, just glitchyLike the game a lot, but you basically have to ignore your reserve squad, because manually setting and analyzing the players and tactics glitches your main team. Also, you can’t ignore a glitch when it occurs, because the every future save file will be corrupted. Like the game, it’s 5 star game without the glitches..Version: 1.7
✓ No explanationsHow can you make a game this good with this much depth and detail, and have barely any tutorials. The game offers 8 tutorials on major components but doesn’t offer anything in terms of smaller details and actions that a head coach can make. I’m so confused on certain parts and the game offers no explanations. How are people supposed to get into this game with no football knowledge??.Version: 1.11
