✓ StrangeI played both ADR and Ensign and I loved both of them. You wanted to tell this story of yours in this game, right? Well, to be honest, I played the game for 6 minutes and already got bored from gameplay. I don’t want to be honest, but this is what a review is. Please, convey your story in a better way, a more intriguing way. ✓ Some things you should know before playingA more engrossing story is than the average big-budget game with a refreshingly unique minimalist presentation. There are things you should know though: There’s no saving so it must be completed in one session. So short that this isn’t a problem and will only takes a couple of minutes to skip to your last position, but can still be annoying if you don’t know in advance. Replaying to try different choices turns out to be a waste of your time. The minimalism extends to the length and conclusion (or lack thereof). I know this is an intentional artistic choice, and a unique experience is probably worth more than this, but to be honest I still would have felt disappointed if I didn’t already feel like I owed more than this for what I got out of A Dark Room and The Ensign. If you haven’t already played those games, play them first and you’ll probably be happy to pay for a new snippet of good storytelling from the same creator.
