Requires new membership, but still asks you to sign in to FabulousThis new app seems like a great idea! I love what the Fabulous team have been doing, so when I saw this app advertised in my Fabulous app, I decided to check it out! My one problem is this app asks you to sign in to your Fabulous account, but requires a new membership. The two apps seem so interconnected that I assumed the Fabulous membership would transfer over/ cover this too. Unfortunately, that is not the case. If you are willing to pay $200+ per year, which is indeed quite cheap for these types of services, having both apps is the way to go. If you are on a budget, I think it may be better to just stick with the regular Fabulous!.Version: 1.1.0

Positively funShape is a fun way to think about a healthy diet. Becoming more discerning and more mindful of what and how you eat takes place. You take a little time to look over your relationship with foods, rather than only follow advice..Version: 1.46.3

Different approach to healthy eatingReally enjoying this approach to healthy eating which involves no calorie counting. Not only does it make meal time easier (no weighing or Google calorie counts), it’s also way better for your mental health! Instead you track more subjective metrics like how full you feel afterward and your own judgement about how healthy the food was. One suggestion: the main goal is to increase fruits and veggies but if someone is looking for additional goals like increasing protein, it doesn’t have anything for that. Interesting so far - I hope this app growsI’ve been using Fabulous for a few months, so I was interested in this new app, considering I need to lose weight this year. I’ve liked it so far, but it’s quite small in scope at this point. Unlike Fabulous, it doesn’t have Circles or other interactive features, and I’d also like to see a place to track weight, so that we can be sure we’re keeping track of our goals. But I appreciate the overall point - it reminds me of the French way of eating, which pays more attention to quality and health and less to calories. I want to see how this app develops and grows and becomes a bigger space..Version: 1.1.0

Very motivationalVery helpful with consistency! Super motivational! It’s not annoying with its reminders, it does have some notifications which are great but it’s just a gentle reminder not too pushy. It feels like having a personal food coach since it helps you be aware of everything you eat! Awesome tips on healthy eating with not too much pressure so you can ease into each new step as you feel ready. If I could give it more stars I would! Life-changingThis app has changed me for the better. I’m sensitive to aesthetic detail and the design is gorgeous, for one thing. The science behind it is there but not annoyingly in-your-face. Instead it’s written by gifted writers who encourage you along your journey. It’s patient in the way you can record your food without judgment. It’s smart Ian’s full of wise ways of putting things so you rethink your life and changes bring joy and meaning to your life. It works in ways Noom only wishes it could!.Version: 1.46.0

Different and betterI used calories tracking apps such us MyFitnessPal in the past .. but after using Shape, I came to realise how limited those apps are. I like all the explanations provided here and the scientific approach that this app uses .. It helped me a lot in building new habits related to food and diet in a record amount of time; and I’m already 2kg down, in less than 3 weeks B) I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to take control of their food and eating habits ...Version: 1.1.0

Would love to useI love the Fabulous app, and how you don’t have to pay to use its main features. I saw this app, and was excited to try it out until I saw that it was subscription based without any free features. That was a bummer. I’m on a fixed income, as well as Blind and disabled. Promising meal trackerThis app is clearly still pretty new. I do like it a lot better than MFP, although it does have some issues to work out. I will honestly probably pay for it because I just don’t like any of the competitors. I’ve noticed some typos, integration with the Fabulous app would be nice, and some of the meal tracking stuff doesn’t really use the optimal process..Version: 1.2.1

Has PotentialI love that the food logging is picture based and not digging around in a database to find something that’s “close enough” to what I’m eating. It’s definitely a newer app with few features, but I’m excited to see where they take this and all the new features they’ll introduce. However, as a lifetime member of Fabulous, I do feel like Shape should be included in that price, and not an additional yearly subscription..Version: 1.1.0

I love these apps.They you accountable to yourself with lots of encouragement. They are interactive and intuitive as well. I also love that they are always adding and changing for the better based on customer feedback..Version: 1.46.0

Some Things Needs FixedI really like this app but a few things would need to be fixed in order for me to love it. 1.) I can’t edit or delete a meal log after I already confirm the entry. 2.) When inserting text for a meal log instead of a picture, I would have a short summary of everything I ate already typed out and would go to fix/delete a word. The app only lets me delete 1 letter before bringing me back down to the bottom of the entry. So deleting/fixing a 5 letter word takes more time and patience than it should. 3.) If I add a “note” with the picture I took for my meal log, after it’s confirmed I can’t see the note I wrote with it. It won’t let me click on my entry’s at all, actually. Again, I really like the app and I know it was just released, these are just things that would make it easier and more enjoyable for the consumers. Please take my thoughts on your app into consideration, thank you!.Version: 1.1.0

ShapeI have been doing Fabulous for a while now and it has changed my life so I decided to add Shape to my daily practice. Taking pictures of my food has gently made me aware of my eating patterns. Taking the pictures gives you an easy way to become an observer, not just a participant, on your self awareness journey This app is fun and keeps you busy. I have only been doing this for two weeks so I am still learning how to integrate it into my day. I will definitely recommend this to my family and friends..Version: 1.46.0

AwesomeI really find this app useful. I would have given 5 stars but I feel as though the app expects daily check ins and I only get around to it two or three times a week. Even so, it is working for me. I do not need to lose much weight but I needed to think differently about WHAT I eat. The app is helping with that. Good App - On the right trackI love the concept of this app - it’s so much easier to track my eating habits by snapping a picture and filling out a few basic questions than trying to track macros or calories. But I wish the app came with a useful widget - I’ve really enjoyed habit tracking apps that allowed you to track streaks or access important menus right from your phone’s Home Screen. It’d also be nice if some of the questions were based on conditional logic - like did your email include any IBS triggering foods? If yes, which ones? I’d also appreciate the addition of a GERD-triggering food question :).Version: 1.49.0

Lovely and SimpleI switched to this app from Noom when calorie counting started to feel too overwhelming. The food databases and guessing at numbers felt like it was distracting me rather than helping me be more mindful. This app is truly a mindful nutrition and movement resource - no counting, no formulas. Just encouragement to change your mindset around food and exercise to something enjoyable rather than something to dread. In true Fabulous fashion, it is very beautiful and very poetic. It might not be for everyone (if you are still hardcore into diet culture, it’s definitely not that), but it’s exactly what I needed. And I’m down 5 pounds after a week (after consistently gaining with Noom), so clearly it’s what my body needed too!.Version: 1.1.0

ShapeI do enjoy this app. Everything works with it, except for one day it glitched, which sorted itself later. There are many features to help along the way of taking control of my eating habits. I do pair this with the Fabulous app for a more rounded approach to putting everything into perspective. There is even a tab that has career opportunities with this company, I would love to learn more about how to be a part of that because the company is really on to something. Great app huge potentialI love this app. It’s only been a couple days and I already find myself asking myself if I’m quite hungry. Using the apps language. I’ve slowly started to enjoy the foods I eat and take my time to figure out when I’m full instead of scarfing down my food. The one thing I would fix is that you can’t edit the meals after you save them. There have been instances where I accidentally press the save button and am not done putting in all my information and I can’t edit or delete it to add a new one..Version: 1.1.0

I love that I can take pictures of my food without counting calories (obsessive person here🤪- calories counting become dangerous for my mental health) and this app helps me focus on my goal of eating nutritional foods and meals to reach my goals without feeling obsessive. Has Great potentialI love using Fabulous and I’m glad this company is starting to branch out. I like the UI and thought behind it. I’ve always have trouble remembering to log my meals and have used countless other apps to help with it, with no success. I really hope to stick to this one, I don’t know if I just haven’t figured it out yet but I can’t seem to edit my food journal once i make it, is this intentional or am i missing something? I hope there is actually an option to edit it since i sometimes forget to add a thing or two. But otherwise a great app..Version: 1.1.0

Best food tracking app!This is the best food tracking app in my opinion. Some people want to input every detail of their food and see numbers and that’s fine. But psychologically, I think this app is the best. It’s clear that a ton of thought was put into the minute details of the app and I absolutely love it. Useful, Inspiring, SensibleIt is the fact that app does not focus on calories and the such. Of course there is info about what is good to eat and what not, but it is about enjoying food, that nourishes and inculcating a positive attitude about it. Not pressure, but guidance and coaching and inspirational tidbits here and there. Attractive and really fun to use. There is more to say about the science behind adopting a sensible approach to health, and this app has plenty of science based advice and guidance.
