✓ Game-breaking bug in forestDevs, there a bug bug in the forest. At the place where there are several broken trees going upwards, I keep getting stuck behind the middle tree and then am unable to get out. You can see her head bobbing around behind the tree, but you can’t move, and no magic words change it. I couldn’t figure out how to get a tree to the next level, and so I was breaking and rising everything (with difficulty here because the words act on or disappear at the first tree they touch) and then the bug gets me stuck. Since everything up to now was pretty intuitive, I wonder if the bug is bigger then just the character getting stuck, since nothing was working before that. I was really loving the game, but this needs to be fixed so I can progress. Which I will hopefully be able to do with progress saved after an update. ✓ Controls not goodThe game looks cute, but the controls made it unplayable. Half the time I was falling off things and having to start over. After a few pages, I had no interest in the story and was more concerned with not throwing the iPad across the room in frustration. ✓ WTH? Got to level 4 then the game deleted my memory/progress!I was lovvvvving this game. So clever and beautiful UNTIL I got to Chapter 4 and couldn’t get past the Giant Lava Lady chase. I keep exiting the game and taking a break and then going back to try and beat the chase scene. It was absolutely impossible. Part of the challenge was switching between running, crouching and then running again as the controls are funky on an iPad. Anyway, I exited again and when I went back to the game later that day my chapter progress deleted itself and I have to play the game all over again? WTH? I wrote to the developers on their website but have not heard back from them. Maybe they will notice my review and fix this issue or refund me the $5.99 i paid….And make the Lava Lady slower if you upgrade this game. Update: I got my saved game back. ✓ Older playersLooking for things to do. Found this. Consider making a page for those non gamers. It might tell you exactly how to play this game. Tips and tricks to get through challenging areas, like the second page. I paid for the game. Glad to support the kids but I’d have really loved to tell my grandkids how much I enjoyed this.
