Clarify: ADHD Organizer, Timer for Negative User Reviews

I’m stuckWhen I was doing the beginning questions it was fine until I got to the future me letter. I scrolled down until the premium thing and I can’t go any further. There is no X, nothing if I keep swiping down or up. I am just stuck..Version: 1.47.1

TIME has wasted a lot of my time ..I love Fabulous l have been a subscriber for quite some time now. This new “TIME” App is a beta version at best no ready to be released for users!!! I wasted more than 2 hrs installing and installing hoping it would work! But it doesn’t.. even when I am signed in it makes me go thru all the questionnaires again!! Picture yourself going to a medical office the first time over and over and over!! With the hope that they will let you in they the door and they never do!! That has beef my experience with this app...Version: 1.47.0

Way too expensive for what it isThis should have been integrated into the Fabulous App or offered at a steep discount. Imagine a consumer who’s already paying for Fabulous, Shape, and now this. That’s $120 per year for apps that have a lot of overlap and would be very overwhelming to manage in 3 places. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that the developers have ADHD because they can’t seem to focus on one thing and keep enthusiastically churning out their latest big money making idea. I can relate, but this app isn’t the solution, it’s just another distraction..Version: 1.47.0

Confusing and fruatratingThe app is confusing and frustrating and i wasnt able to get a refund after they charged me. Would give zero if i could 40 dollars down the drain.Version: 1.47.2

Not adhd friendlySo I tried the fabulous app for a bit and saw that they had an adhd app too and tried it out. 100% waste of time. Essentially makes the mistake that every adhd app/planner makes and basically just says “do the thing” without any incentive or accountability. Seems more like a glorified day planner and I felt that the quotes for inspiration were a bit much. Very self-help vibe that sounds great in theory but doesn’t actually help. I was also a bit weary going into it trying out the free trial but was a little comforted by the fact that it said they will remind you when the free trial is coming to an end bc duh adhd people forget. Guess what never came? The reminder to cancel the free trial. Got billed for it and had to contact apple for a refund which is way more work than I wanted to do. The app is not user friendly either I didn’t see any place to cancel the subscription I had to go through apple for that as well. Very confusing and frustrating trying to navigate all of this..Version: 1.47.2

Needs to be more flexibleI like how it does not feel like the Library of Congress, but it needs to allow you to uncheck a task that may have been marked completed in error. Also, its current value is more in the $14-$19 a year range, and most definitely *not* $39.99 a year. In addition, it needs to have a 2-4 week trial, a 7 day trial is almost a cruel joke to those with ADHD, as their lives may not instantly provide enough focus to use it consistently the first 7 days (what do you have to lose by extending the trial period that helps your intended demographic?)..Version: 1.47.0

Scam!!!!I started a free trial and this app clearly states it’s refund policy, which says they provide refunds anytime no questions asked and I cancelled my trial before the payment was supposed to go through and they still charged me $125 and I emailed them also sent in a refund request and got no response from the company which forced me to go through my bank to dispute this charge and then I finally got a refund and now the company is trying to reverse my refund the bank got me. This app has been nothing but stress, they are a scam I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!.Version: 1.49.1

Cost is ridiculous£40 a month for an app is just outrageous I’m afraid, especially when the yearly option is £60…I’m not sure who worked out the maths on that but I certainly wouldn’t be paying £60 after a week trial, that’s not long enough to evaluate if it’s actually going to help me make lasting change..Version: 1.47.2

Cancel subscriptionIt said they would allow you to get refund if you forgot to cancel trial. I forgot to cancel and when my credit card got charged after the week I immediately cancelled it but I don’t know how to get refund there is no support..Version: 1.47.2

Don’t waste your moneyI’m a Fabulous app user and loved how it was set up. It really helped me get centered throughout my day until I could do all the things automatically. I was excited when the ADHD app came out as I am always learning how to externally manage my lack of executive functioning due to ADHD. After two weeks of content the ADHD education stops and you are back to choosing from the same journeys and coaching from the fabulous app. There are daily group chat questions but it’s the same questions just asked in a different ways. They wouldn’t give my $40 back saying that was the cost of the app for the full year. I don’t need the app for a full year if you only get two weeks of content associated with ADHD. So now I have paid for premium fabulous and clarify and they are basically the same. Disappointed and frustrated with the creator. There is so much more you can do with this app. It’s a shame you released it before it was ready. I was told more was coming. Hopefully sooner rather than later. Until then I recommend saving your $40 until they can produce a full scope of content..Version: 1.47.2

Incredibly frustrating!!!I’ve been diagnosed and dealing with ADHD over 30 years. I’ve hoped to find help in Fabulous apps, but find them overwhelming and extremely rigid. There doesn’t appear to be any way to correct answers to questions asked, and then I feel I’m getting forced into tasks that are ill-suited or confusing. When I attempt to exit these flows and find a way to start over or adjust…there aren’t ANY options!! This Clarify App in particular is the MOST frustrating as it doesn’t even allow me to access my profile!!!! I found the Favulous app overwhelming and was hoping this specific app for ADHD would work better for me. It started out promising but ended with greater frustration than the actual Fabulous App. Maybe it’ll work for others, but all these apps did was discourage me further, not help..Version: 1.47.1

ADHD Tax strikes againSo I’ve been a user of the main Fabulous app for a few years now. I’m inconsistent because of ADHD but I always come back. I love the app. I recently redownloaded and was pleasantly surprised to see that they’ve reduced the price of premium to something I could actually afford, I think around £20. Bonus! Only to discover there’s now an ADHD friendly app! Sold! I immediately downloaded it. I deleted it within 10 minutes. First, there’s the immediate ableist assertion that ADHD is a superpower. F off. From the little I could see, it’s just the same old regular Fabulous app, repackaged to look like it supports ADHD brains better. I have no idea if it does, because there doesn’t seem to be an option to use a free version of the app like there is with Fabulous. I couldn’t get past the “free trial, £40 a year” screen. So not only are you REQUIRED to pay if you want to ADHD version, it’s double the normal version. And let’s be honest, no ADHD person is going to remember to cancel their free subscription. Honestly this app feels like it’s doing more to advantage of ADHD folks who are susceptible to impulse purchases and make things LESS accessible/more expensive to us than it is to neurotypical counterparts. I’d like to hope this is just them trying to get the app off the ground and won’t be forever but let’s just wait and see. Oh, and the MAIN REASON I deleted it instead of holding on for a while? There’s a notification which I can’t get rid of because of the paywall 😭.Version: 1.47.1

I’m losing interestI loved this app but it’s been 3 weeks now and nothing has changed. My current “journey” has been 100% complete and it hasn’t moved on. I’m bored and I’m not progressing. I did have premium but ended up cancelling it because I had already mastered my current level. I emailed them but haven’t heard back. It’s great but you do know that people with adhd get bored easily, right? I loved the images, there was even one video! I would love to see more of that!.Version: 1.47.2

Breaking the Cycle: Prioritizing Quality over Quantity in App DevelopmentRather than addressing the glaring issues with the horrible bugs and the outdated interface, the Fabulous team seems to be incessantly churning out new apps as if there were no end in sight. I implore you, please don't fall into the trap of becoming one of those profit-focused corporations. Your revenue from the subscription-based model is already substantial. Consider allocating some of those funds to the essential task of maintaining Fabulous and the other apps you've created, instead of incessantly launching new ones..Version: 1.47.0

Practical TipsI like the practical tips, qoutes and encouragements. I really dislike all the ‘universe’, ‘guiding lights’ spiritual mumbo jumbo - really off putting - I am trying to ignore it..Version: 1.47.1

Best app I’ve ever had!Fabulous is like a friend that has your back, and guides you going forward, too. It is an essential app for me. Fabulous is fabulous!.Version: 1.47.1

Subscription issuesIt's not letting me cancel my subscription. I see the button to "Manage Subscription" but I press it and nothing happens..Version: 1.47.2

Please be carefulIf I hadn’t seen another review warning about the payment structure, I would’ve fallen for it for sure because of how confusing it is. ** Make sure to cancel the trial right away to avoid a bad surprise** The trial is aprox. 1$ to 20$, “pay what you can”. The subscription is $54, billed every 3 months. All this is done through their site, not the App. The app itself is just too much of nothing for me. Low key, the whole experience felt a tad predatory/exploitative. I wouldn't mind paying that price for something of true value, but you’re just better off learning how to properly use your free Reminders app..Version: 1.50.1

Bunch of crapI’ll save you the bother of trying this: - scroll through a bunch of slow, tedious blah blah about “strengths” and “success” - learn how to get “centered” (imagining snowflakes falling or something, deep breathing, nothing you haven’t heard 100 times before) - identify a few tasks to do today (oo! A to do list!) - set a timer to work on a task for an hour (if I could focus on a task for an hour I wouldn’t need the app) - listen to audio to de-stress - watch a video about a habit you must have - take a pledge to “shift your thoughts” The ad for this showed some kind of decision tree that suggested it was going to walk me through getting stuff done. It doesn’t do that. At all. It’s all self-generated content and seems to be based on the idea that if the app tells you you can do it, then you can. Any person with a brain cell can make a to-do list and set a timer. 🙄.Version: 1.47.1

Why?Fabulous, iPads exist. So do MacBooks. Support them. They are better productivity tools. Please. You will make more money..Version: 1.47.2

So SlowThe beauty of this app is undeniable but totally overshadowed by endless slow animations and meaningless word salad inspirational quotes. Honestly, as someone who struggles with inattentive adhd, I was distracted multiple times before I even finished the tutorial. I got so frustrated with how long and slow the instructions and animations were. This app may work for some, IF you can get through the quiz and the tutorials. Not for me..Version: 1.49.1

Good in theoryI like the idea of this app, but there are things that just don’t make sense to me—such as not receiving any kind of notice when your “deep work” timer ends; the music just keeps playing, and if you’re actually in “deep work” you shouldn’t have to be glancing over at the timer every five minutes to make sure you’re on task. I almost missed taking my kids to school because I assumed I would know when the timer ended. Also, the whole “do something within 5 seconds of it entering your brain” is the exact opposite of what I need—my problem is that I’m constantly bouncing from one thing to the next. I’m going to keep trying it, but I’m not sure it’s worth the money—especially if you already have the Fabulous app..Version: 1.47.1

Asking for money, really? In my opinion, if you are going to create an app for something someone was born with, they shouldn’t have to pay to use it. Make another app or something if you want money, I just find it wrong to make someone pay for something that helps them because of something they were born with 🙄.Version: 1.47.2

Free trial not ADHD friendlyI didn’t bother signing up to the free trial after wasting 15 minutes or so going through all the questions because I always forget to cancel things like that. Please have a free level with a skeleton feature offering including the to-do integrated timer so I can check it out and see if the app would suit my needs without being tricked into more ADHD tax - I’ve been using Fabulous premium subscription for 2 years now (after first forgetting to cancel a free trial- came across the app before Jessica McCabe promoted Fabulous and sad I couldn’t get in on the discounts)..Version: 1.47.0
