Map My Ride by Under Armour for Negative User Reviews

Cool idea but...Cool idea but has quite a few bugs. At first it seemed really great. Until I started “checking” it’s data for accuracy. It doesn’t handle gps very well which leads to most information being inaccurate. I used this to map my bike path. And see my speed, distance, top speed and the entire path that I traveled. It had all of that in the free version and the ads are minimal (except one in the last few days which the x button wasn’t shown on iPhone X screen). The issue came quick when I started doing math and known distances. Nothing added up and I noticed when checking my paths, sometimes it would just auto jump me from one skipped me 2 miles and instead of showing actual path just showed straight line. Which still isn’t that bad. I continued to use it. You know. Free and all that’s not bad. The issue is it doesn’t turn the app off and requires phone to be rebooted completely to close app or it just constantly stays open killing my Apple Watch. No matter how many times I manually close the app on phone and watch, every time I lift my hand after a couple minutes, it just shows the app open and wanting me to continue my already finished. And synced my work out. I uninstalled due to heating phone and watch and destroying battery so quickly..Version: 19.11.1

App will not open on iwatch after latest releaseHave fully reset watch and resynched with iPhone. Click icon to open app and get blank watch screen then returns to watch face. Only started after release a day ago.Version: 21.5.0

Apple Watch and thingsSometimes a bit clunky when operating from the watch. App doesn’t auto start in free mode but no idea if it does when you pay for it. Main gripe is that better to have ONE app that monitors all activities that’s intelligent enough to ask you firstly what you I intend to do and then interrogated you if you pause, stop or change from one activity to another. So often I’ve paused and forgotten to restart. No auto start available. Yet the Apple offering - although not perfect either - does identify if you are walking. All you have to do is say “yes” (or press the question bar). It seems that it would not be the wit of man to be able to define certain options based on ones speed. If there is a crossover speed - say running/walking or running/cycling that could generate a query. Nice App but sometimes a trouble to use effectively..Version: 20.8.0

Be careful closing the appI use the free version. I was thinking of buying and upgrading, but I have read reviews that the same issue happens on the upgrade. I would say 3 out of 5 mornings when I start the app and swipe to clear the screen so nothing accidentally presses on it, I come home to find that it has paused and it hasn’t recorded my ride. Luckily I ride with my husband, and I am able to use his information from another app to input on my Fit Bit. 2 out of 5 days it works. I’ve tried to pay careful attention to what I do on the days it works versus the days it pauses, and we can see nothing different. Instead of upgrading, I’ll likely add the app the husband uses..Version: 20.15.1

1st rideGreat app my first time using this app so will definitely review again once I’ve used it a few times!👍🏽.Version: 20.5.0

Unreliable trackingI’ve had a few issues with the tracking, but recently the app would just stop tracking my rides after I’ve pressed start. Incredibly frustrating to get halfway through a ride to realise it hasn’t tracked anything. Better options out there..Version: 20.7.0

Watch features let it downIf I was writing this as solely a phone app it would get 5*s, but I’m not. As advertised it has Apple Watch functionality which is useful. BUT if you want auto pause or start delay you have to use the phone app, if you want heart rate data you have to control it with the watch app, neither does what the other does. Disappointing considering Under Armour has its name on it but I guess technology is there to sell not to be used properly..Version: 20.4.0

First timeI used this app with my iPod touch ( latest model) and encountered a few bugs, I cannot set my weight and height it always crashes and when I used it cycling it didn't register my distance I guess because it cannot do the gps for iPod touch.Version: 4.0.6

Needs Apple Health FixWill not connect to Apple Health. Will not display heart rate in workouts. Fix that and you’ll have a great app..Version: 21.6.0

Long sync times for watch to phone app.Primarily track with the Apple Watch. 2 out of the past 2 times I’ve logged a workout with the watch it takes more than a day to “sync while it’s connected to the Internet” which it is. But now as I’ve written this, it is still trying to sync my ride from yesterday (17 hours later). Yes I have also tried the troubleshooting “tips” to make it sync but the watch and phone app just won’t sync. However, for some reason it has no issue syncing the data to the Apple health app just fine..and yes they are up to date. Just did a dummy test and that synced to the app 10 minutes later. Otherwise the app is nice, full of information even with the free version..Version: 20.9.0

Sorry it's frustratingI have given this app a month to test and I am impressed with a lot of functions and stats. Very well in depth and easy integration with your website and social media HOWEVER the troubles I've had with data loss is angering. I've also done a workout that included a cat 3 hill climb, a huge achievement for me however according to the app and website this did not register the elevation (the rest of the 40km registered, just not the hill climb). I know that the solution is to manually log the workout but that isn't a long term solution for me, I need something that just works. So the data loss is the reason I am seeking an alternative to what I want. Sorry, the app is good otherwise.Version: 4.6.2

Not sure if I’ll keep using this oneI don’t really write review but I’m not as thrilled with this as I was in the start. The map building was super easy and sold me on trying it. It seemed to work well but has failed to log my last three work outs. I go to stop it and it logs a few steps that I’ve just taken. Total workout run: .01miles. The first time I thought it was me so before my next ride, I doubled checked quickly. When I finished nothing. The third time, I thought I wasn’t careful enough so I double checked and went for my run. When I stopped it, the same. I don’t know if I’m hitting something, but I can’t keep checking this thing to make sure everything is going. It’s bad enough trying to carry my iPhone 8 Plus around let alone it not really doing anything. Someone mentioned if was unreliable, that if you hit a wrong button it aborts your work out. Big problem is you start it and try to put it away and might hit something, especially on a big smart phone. If the could fix that it would be a great app. I’m not sure if I’ll switch back to the other apps, but it worked fine for a few workouts not require too much maintenance for me to keep using it. Also, the menu layout is a bit confusing. I have a hard time trying to navigate to pages in the app I’m trying to get to. I’d get used to it but I wish it were more intuitive..Version: 18.5.0

Randomly Shuts downsUpdate*** this is my third review and it doesn’t get any better, time after time this app is a let down. If it’s not one thing then it’s something else. I open the app this morning and lost everything, I lost all my workout history (2 years of data), my list of friends/connection etc… it’s like the apps restored by itself. My second review They have fixed my first review (see below). But just like other reviews, this app is full of bugs. I no longer can see who “likes” my workouts and I cannot load previous comments when checking out someone elses workout. For those reasons I’m still giving this a 1 star….. My first review Randomly Shuts down This app shuts down randomly while in use. Very frustrating and I’ve written down the same review 3-4 times now and nothing has been done. Will change apps after my yearly challenge..Version: 22.25.2

Data lossHad this app for a month and has worked well, was great sharing info with friends but after a recent update the app crashed and lost all my workouts. I won’t be using this app in future as it’s not cool losing all your workouts..Version: 20.7.0

Bugs all the timeKeeps freezing after starting a run.Version: 19.20.0

Next to useless in WellingtonWas really looking forward to using this app, but it barely picks up a GPS signal on the iPhone and when it does, the ride will not upload despite numerous attempts through both 3G network and wireless, logging out, logging in, checking passwords etc. A shame I have to switch my ride website to use my iPhone bling, but Trailguru seems to give much better GPS signal pickup where I ride and offers more functionality including altitude, a screen lock on the application and the ability to switch to a map within the application..Version: 0

Total malfunction as of lateI would have given the ap a better rating in the past, as I’ve used it for years, but recently it has completely started to malfunction. Originally stopping my workouts at exactly 2 minutes 23 seconds without warning. A total bummer after finishing a five mile run and getting no “ap credit”. Six failed attempts later, I downloaded a new iPhone software update (mine was just one version old) and now the ap stops immediately after starting it. There are way too many exercise apps out there to continue to be frustrated with this one. You served me well for many years “Map My Ride, Run, Hike...,” but our relationship is going nowhere now..Version: 19.6.0

Not working on iOS 15Looks like the app is broken on iOS 15. I can’t start a workout or access any options in the app..Version: 21.19.0

Top SpeedSome spurious extremely high speeds recorded, possibly affecting overall average speed? Calories count seems to work on speed only, probably difficult to assess, but wind affects speed, greater effort required riding into the wind, more calories even though slower overall ride time? Thanks.Version: 22.1.0

Not as good as Map My Ride+I have the old Map My Ride+ until they stopped updating it, and told me to switch. With the new version, my time and average speed are slower. The old version synced up pretty well with my odometer, the new version shows longer times and slower average speed. I think it takes longer for the auto pause feature to kick in when you’re stopped, I’ve parked my bike, and 3-4 minutes later the timer is still counting, the old version seems to pause quicker. Gonna keep using the older + version as long as it works, and syncs with the web..Version: 20.14.0

Very inaccurate distance and speedThey updated the app to be more accurate but the opposite happened. On a 30 mile ride the app is off by 2.5 miles! I compared milage to my apple watch and ua’s own route planner. I also drove the route and measured with my car. My watch, my car,and ua’s route planner all agree on the distance, the mapmyride app is simply wrong. I have been a paying subscriber for years and was very happy with the app. I had over 20k mile accurately mapped, then the update. I contacted their support and at first they said the app was right and was now more accurate. Then i showed them the comparisons including their own route planner (which is a cool tool on their website). They sent back a long list of bs things to do with my phone like killing all apps, rebooting, and then riding with only mapmyride running - silly but i tried it but the results were the same. I switched to strava and while i like mapmyride functionality better than strava, at least i get the right distances now. They may have improved accuracy for some limited specific set of use cases, but they broke the app for the majority of users..Version: 20.8.0

AwfulInto my last few days of a 5 week solo cycle ride across America from the Pacific and due to hit the Atlantic in the next few days. This app has been a total waste of money. It has worked very intermittently and when I tried to use it in the first few weeks it constantly “froze” after each day’s ride - pressing the “save workout” button never worked and I found invariably the app then magically reset itself over night. However 1,000 miles back in Oklahoma it decided to totally freeze. I could reinstall I guess but I really don’t want anything more to do with this app. I also found on a few occasions an incoming phone call on my Apple phone reset the reading to zero! It has been a complete waste of money and I will never use it again.Version: 23.10.0

Apple Watch Series 3 connectivity is lacklusterHaving so much trouble mirroring workout data with my Apple Watch and my phone through this app even using UA’s troubleshooting guide. It’s the second time I deleted the app, as per UA’s troubleshooting guidelines, and reinstalled it from both devices just to make these two things work together during workouts. First-world problems. Lost a lot of critical HR data during long rides and some didn’t even collect GPS distances. I may be working with “older tech” but I’m not buying the latest iPhone and Apple Watch just to get mediocre workout tracking service from one of the top leading health tracking app (only second next to STRAVA, that is too Radically Left for my taste buds so I dropped them off the face of this earth.) Also, let’s make buddy following and safety contact GPS (when it’s working) following for relatives a little easier to accomplish with just a simple link send via SMS instead of having to create a member account that they will never use for its intended purposes. Get with the 21st century UA..Version: 22.18.0

App is buggyIPhone 11- the app does not let you finish your ride to see stats. Does not let you choose type of bike like it did before either..Version: 21.6.0

Was great, now not so muchThis has always been my go to app - now using the Apple Watch series 6 to track various workouts including cycling walking and gym it doesn’t always track heart rate sometimes only starting 50% through the workout. Also keep defaulting my splits voice call outs in KM despite it being set to miles. A little buggy in all the wrong places.Version: 21.7.0

Still not workingStill not working.Version: 21.15.0

Birtinya to Dickie Beach - off roadOnce at beach it is a ride thru bush on great 2 m wide concrete/wood surface. 100 m from beach then around Currimindi Lake before following beach Tk again. Return journey great as well. Good coffee at Dickie Beach. Will encounter a few walkers , kids on bikes etc who are not paying attention..Version: 19.1.1

Load of rubbish. Basic mathematical errors! When I first started using this app I thought it was quite clean and simple to use, till I queried the average speed calculated it was giving. I realised that instead of dividing total distance by total time, they were wrongly taking the average of the individual split times. This is very basic school level maths and if they can’t get that right then what else is wrong behind the scenes..Version: 19.17.0

No longer reliable, no customer supportI used this app for about three years, however, have now deleted it. With each update, it became less and less reliable, and the ‘support’ for the app is non-existent. I had the same route show over a 3 mile difference in tracking (the route itself is under 1.5 miles) however often records as over 4.5. Recent updates to the watch app made it possible to track workouts without taking a phone, but this app is less reliable than the app phone. It auto-pauses while I’m biking at 15+mph, leading to miles. It tracked. The last workout I tracked showed 2.30 miles on the phone but only 1.4 on the watch. These were stated at the same time as starting it on the phone pulls up the watch app to allow you to quickly view your stats (even though they’re totally different than on the phone) but the accuracy is not there, I assume because of the auto-pause issues on the watch..Version: 18.8.0

Eats up your BatteryThis app keeps wanting access to the camera. So every time I look at my progress the screen is on. Even after dismissing the notification it does it again. In a one hour ride this app ate up 41% of my battery. Not good at all. This isn’t a bug, it’s a design flaw. Fix it and I might use it again..Version: 21.12.0

Poor privacy policyThis is one of those apps that won’t let you use it without consenting to share your data. Sorry but this is a pathetic approach to privacy. You should always be able to use basic features of an app without having to share all of your data. None of these companies can guarantee your data will not be used for marketing or protect it from external intrusion. I work in the software industry so I know what I am talking about. My advice is to use one of the many other apps available..Version: 20.6.0

Conflicts with Apple watchI just wanted to track my rides on a map. The app was saying that there is more tracking via apple watch. But on the free version not only does it not pull any data from the watch, it doesn't even stote the ride as an exercise. Why would you disable functionality that is already on the apple watch? Free version not worth it..Version: 21.13.0

Been a member since 2007 - now leaving.I have used these MapMy products since before UA bought them. They have been really good products for riding and hiking - the two things I use them for. I haven’t been too active for a while but on getting my bike ready and starting to ride again, I tried to link my speed and cadence sensors up and had no luck. In searching the web, I found lot’s of advice on how to do it but nothing worked. Then I found their announcement page where they told us that support for those things was discontinued. In order to use their app I will have to go out and invest in new sensors and get another app that will sync to their app. Sorry, I’ll be getting a new app. To me this a pretty egregious abuse of their customers for MAP MY RIDE! I mean, really, if you can’t get accurate speed and cadence to combine with your heart rate while riding… The speed that I get when using just the app jumps all over the place from 21 mph to 11 mph so it’s not real clear what you are doing. Hate to say it but BYE!.Version: 22.17.0

Review for map my rideI really whited using this app, however I found that it really chewed into battery life. When I reached 40kilometres the battery ran out on my iPhone and it wouldn't record the last 10kilometres of my ride Any suggestions to extend battery life so it will record a full cycle session would b great.Version: 4.0.6

Useless Customer Support for Free UserI’ve used this app for years & had no problems, in fact I enjoyed using it until May 8,2023. Since then it’s become a useless app soon to be deleted. The reason behind this change of heart….11 days into a support ticket & no help at all. Initially, I received a response that was basically cut & paste from any number of sources. I responded with more information(9 days ago & more 4 days ago)and screenshots as the cut & paste response didn’t fit my problem at all. Now 11 days later I still have an app with no solution, shame because the next app doesn’t have some of the features as this one in their free model, maybe that’s why the lack of response. Customer service is customer service, I don’t pay for the premium subscription now the possibility of futures subscription members from my recommendation of the app are gone. The only reason you have 2 stars from me is the years that I didn’t need support..Version: 23.10.0

Inconsistent mileage and priceyGenerally good app, but the mileage is inconsistent. For several months my ride to work was measuring approximately 11.5 miles - sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less - but it was fairly consistent. We’re talking a couple hundredths of a mile (i.e .03 miles difference). Then - about the same time the app modified its algorithm for calories expended - the distance changed. My route started measuring 11.0 miles. Again sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less, but generally 11.0 miles. So I assume that was the reason. That lasted for several weeks. Then it shifted back to 11.5. This is the EXACT SAME ROUTE. Not a meter more or less. No explanation. Just wonky. But again, overall a good app. Not sure it’s worth paying for except to get rid of the advertisements - $30 is rather pricey..Version: 19.11.1

I do not recommend this appThis is the second time I have tried this app. Forgot what it was like and why I had deleted it when I used to bike. The app I had been using didn’t work when I got a bike again. This app won’t work unless you register it and offer it access to pretty much all of your phone. Plus it will sell your data and use it however they like. I went with cyclemaster instead..Version: 21.10.0

I really like the app and have the free version but a few ExtA few extra features could drastically improve the experience. 1. Better customization of run distances. My military run distance for pt is 1.5 miles can only set for 1 or 2 miles which requires constant app monitoring when nearing the 1.5 mark. 2. Ability to auto stop a gym workout at a certain time. Lost track of how many times I have left the gym and forgot to stop my workout which completely destroys my data tracking. Half the times I don’t realize I forgot to stop it till I am at the gym for my next workout and open it to see it’s still running 😔.Version: 22.21.1

Goals Never Work; Stops Activities ShortNot a bad app if all you need is speed and mileage, but not the greatest otherwise. The “Goals” feature never records workouts, even though I’ve repeatedly created goals that should be completed daily and weekly based on my activities. The mileage tracking is a bit short, compared to other activity trackers and known trail mileages. Also if you need help in the app, you will not even be able to access the help link because the screen scrolls up before you are able to select “Help”, probably due to the advertisement link at the top of the page. I enjoyed this app before, but it looks like it’s about time for me to find a replacement since this app is inconsistent with its performance..Version: 19.11.1

Stopped trackingThe app stopped tracking.Version: 21.16.0

Share doesn’t work.I’ve tried twice now on two separate workouts and cannot share on Facebook with friends. It just takes me to another page asking me which option I want to share, Twitter, Skype, email etc etc. This is after I’ve pressed the actual Facebook share button! Probably more complicated than it needs to be and not as simple as Endomondo. Don’t like the fact I’ve got to pay for heart rate info unlike Endomondo. The pairing with my Apple Watch does t seem to work correctly although it seems to work, a contra diction I know but it’s just not a simple button press. When I start a MTB ride with my watch with my phone in my camelbak it won’t activate the auto pause which has been set to “on” on my phone! All in all, bring back Endomondo!.Version: 20.25.0

Loved this app for the last 6 years until I got the Apple WatchI’ve used this app heavily for the last six years. I had a Tomtom cardio spark plus music watch for the last 2 1/2 years and everything synced to the app just fine with no problem. I would have gotten another but they are now discontinued. Now I have an Apple Watch and I thought things would be even smoother and better since it had an actual Map My Ride app but I am disappointed with the limited metrics that are shown on the watch as well as the syncing abilities. Sometimes my workouts don’t show up on the app on my phone until the day after they are completed. On my tomtom watch, workouts used to sync within seconds of completing a workout. I used to be able to change what metrics I could see and take off ones I didn’t care about and toggle to whatever ones I didn’t have set to my main screen in the middle of the workout. I really miss that! Now I can’t see a lot of mymetrics until they finally sync which takes F.O.R.E.V.E.R!.Version: 18.7.0

Changed somethingWhile I really like Map My Ride, recently there was a change that I can’t figure out the “why” of it. You used to be able to have music from your library/source play through the app. For some reason they took that out——so now I have to start another app (Spotify or Apple Music) THEN start the MMR app. Not horrible, but a little inconvenient when they used to work together. That’s the only reason I couldn’t give it 5 stars..Version: 21.6.0

Needs fixSince the latest iOS and Apple Watch updates, the app will not work on my watch..Version: 21.5.0

Years logged in app. Only recent strugglesMan I have years logged into this app. I maybe had one Snafu a year, where the app didn’t log. Since the new apple os update it’s 50/50 whether or not the app will track. I have all the correct permissions set, I pay for premium, and I click the workout button and I watch the clock start. I live track so my wife can keep tabs on my whereabouts in case of a crash. But it barely works anymore . Not sure why I’m paying premium for something that isn’t reliable currently. I probably won’t change apps, I just wish they would fix it..Version: 21.11.0

App stopped launching - can’t access my dataApp was working fine until it stopped launching one day. I’m still trying to get access to my data but can’t find a way; I had some good souvenirs of past family rides that I had unfortunately loaded in it (pictures along the way, rides distance with kids, etc.) I’ll probably lose it all. Very disappointed to see this happening, and many others are in my situation..Version: 22.3.0

The new versions are poor qualityI have used the app since the beginning of 2015. I also bought a premium membership when it became available and then the company made the application for free. Never got any money back but that was OK. The new versions have caused the speed indicator could be slow in responding to changes and very deceptive. Also when you come to a stop or when starting again the app is very slow in responding. If you don’t really care about the accuracy of the data it collects then this might be fine. Is that used to be very reliable And good to work with. I am currently evaluating a couple of other apps to replace this one. I am somewhat annoyed that they are now offering a premium product with new features supposedly. Since I was a premium member prior and they made it for free; I will not trust them going forward..Version: 18.10.0

Not working on Apple WatchI love this app, and since the last update a few days ago - it won’t work on my Apple Watch - very disappointed - before this I would have gave it 5 stars.Version: 21.5.0

Increasingly poor on-road performanceI changed to this app from another similar one for logging my rides as it had much better on road data available - current speed included. The speed and other data used to be accurately updated to within a few seconds but in the last 6 months it has become very inaccurate, responding to my actual speed with about a 30 second delay - i.e. non-functional. More recently it has failed consistently to even log accurately my location, constantly losing my location and finding it much later - therefore connecting the lost tracking by a straight line. I’ve had enough of it..Version: 18.11.5

Stop workingHi the app stop working I can’t do anything can you fix it please. I was really enjoying it until couple days ago, it’s stop on training when you pause it and hold to finish it not going to next step( save workout) etc..Version: 21.11.0

Running App or Cycling App?Clarify to me please, is this a running app or a cycling app? With all these updates over the past couple of years, it is leaning more towards a running app. The Bluetooth sensors are all gone in relation to cadence and speed except for the heart rate monitor. Challenges or competitions with others is completely gone. The title of this app is now misleading “map my ride” should be geared towards those who cycle. “Map my run” is another app that should be geared towards runners..Version: 20.24.0

Cust SVC. Needs improvement !!!I’ve been an MVP user since inception of my account years and years ago. + I have it on auto pay and all of a sudden everything started going wonky with Ads and Nicole asked me to use new app to fix it in February. I told them at that time that my MVP still wasn’t working so they said they would fix that aspect of it and obviously didn’t. It’s April now & it’s not working again and Cust SVC keeps missing the point as if they cannot be bothered to research my longstanding account history. I’m asking repeatedly if they’ve read anything and looked back on my account since inception. They do not understand that I’ve been an MVP member on auto pay been using all those features for years so it’s not their place to tell me otherwise AND it REALLY is their problem to fix. Just like I have to worry about the related My Fitness Pal Data Hack. Sheesh.Version: 18.3.0

Great - I wouldn't be getting fit without itThis app has been instrumental in achieving my fitness goals I could not have done it without it. It is easy to use, accurate, and keeps a fantastic level of statistical information available. I never ride without the app these days..Version: 5.1

Keeps CrashingKeeps crashing a minute into my ride and doesn’t log the distance or speed until I reopen the app again. Please fix!!!.Version: 21.9.0

Love it mostlyThis app is versatile in that you use it for biking, running, walking. It also lets you customize aspects of your bike and works with iPhone fitness tracking. My only issue with it is I feel ripped off on distance at times. Started finding with friends who use other apps and some reason mine always comes up different. We ride 20-25 miles and the other 2 apps as well as one person also using a cateye show anything from 1-2 miles more than I do. At first I figured it could be their app, but cumulatively when I noticed it was all them within 1/4 mile of each other and me with less I decided this almost has to be shorting the distance some..Version: 20.11.0

Good potential, many important things do not workI love the clear, easy to read display. Set up options are a breeze. The problem is the app is hard to pair with BT devices, and impossible with multiple bikes. I did an experiment a few days ago where I tried to pair a simple HRM. Map My Ride would not find it. Strava and Wazoo fitness connected right away. Strava and Wazoo also seamlessly and effortlessly support multiple bikes (and multiple BT devices). Also recently, I issued a trouble ticket when I tried to pair my DuoTrap speed and cadence sensor. In the response I received, the developer admitted trouble pairing with this speed and cadence sensor device (with iPhone). The ability to pair BT devices is basic, and these problems are inexcusable for this type of app. These problems really bother me as I love the app and I want them to do well. I also paid for the ad free version, and I want to realize the full value if my purchase. With their affiliation with UA, you’d think this would be fixed. Get it together UA if you want to earn the respect of those serious about their fitness..Version: 18.5.0

CoachingIt’s an okay app. But make up your mind about the coaching section. You gave it to me for free then you wanted me to upgrade (at a cost) then you gave it back. But you want me to upgrade after the latest iPhone update???.Version: 18.8.0

Won’t work with Apple WatchIt’s not working with my Apple Watch. Really disappointing!.Version: 21.15.0

Not as reliable as the mobile app!I have used MapMyRide for several years on my mobile phone and was very glad to know a Watch app was available as I knew I was more likely to leave my phone at home and rely upon the watch. However there are many glitches and issues that cause me to sometimes lose work out data I cannot select miles as my preferred measure if using the watch alone. Syncing the data once within range of my mobile again often takes several minutes surprising. If I have completed two workouts on the watch I usually lose one of them at least. I have struggled with the app on the watch now for a year and will give it one last go with the recent update but I have a feeling I will be sadly having to use another app altogether for mobile device and watch.Version: 19.11.0
