✓ Good but could be betterAll in all, it's a good way to pass the time. The main issue I have is the tension on the line. No matter the weight of the fish (1lb bluegill to 44lb pike) the line tension always goes into the red and, despite following the instructions, there is no way to release the tension. I've had more snapped lines than landed fish. It would be a lot better to be able to adjust the tension or have the tension release when you stop reeling in or move the line to follow the fish..Version: 5.1

✓ Good but could improveI think this game is good but could improve to make game play better if u make an update with this: more different fish like eels, jew fish etc. Also if u could please add in update this: with prize money won there should be a shop where u can buy new gear like rods, reels, lures, thin lines all the way to strong lines and maybe new boats also need some more lakes. ✓ Great!...but,I love this game, real close to the actual experience as a phone can get, but, and I know this is true for ALL fishing games, it is too easy to catch a fish (this doesn't bother me; if it took hours to catch a fish, then nobody would play or buy it), and, as an avid angler, it angers me how one can pull in 18+ pound largies like they're 2 or 3 pounders. What I'm complaining about, I guess, is, I think that the fish weights were a little more realistic (and increase the livewell size to 5). Other than that, awesome game, but what can you expect? I'm a person, of course I'll find something trivial to complain about!.Version: 0
✓ Where's the update?!?!Surely the version I PAID for should get the upgrade that people who have the FREE version got?! Without the upgrade the games crap-with an upgrade-I'd imagine i'd play it-till the upgrade comes-I advise u all to save your money and play flick fishing!.Version: 0
✓ Solid simulator for fishing fansWith the price drop to $1.19, I decided to give this a try. I absolutely loved flick fishing but sadly this doesn't quite stack up. The complexity and depth seems ok and the NEW animated background improves this title enormously but the gameplay is still a bit dry for me. At the end of the day, Flick fishing is more intuitive and fun to play but for fishing purists who understand all the differences in lures and sinkers, might still find good value in this title..Version: 0

✓ Poorly doneWhen you go to cast a line and your finger slips you end up exiting the game and with the new update you can't resume your tournament. They could have made it so you turn your I-pod sideways then cast it like a real fishing rod..Version: 0
✓ Not bad...Great fun when it's not crashing or losing the fish you caught in tourney mode. Crashes every single time I play and if I'm in the middle of a tournament and winning I can say bye-bye to those fish. On the bright side it's a lot of fun to try to figure out the fish behavior and what kind of lure to use etc. The frustration of losing a fish makes it a lot more addicting (line tension a great feature). Probably the realest fishing app out right now. A great app that would get 5 stars if: 1) They fixed the crashes. 2) More in-game features (more types of fish, different rods and lures, vibration based on size). 3) Detailed fishing guide and instructions. 4) You could close the app if necessary and not lose the fish you caught. Worth $2.99 though, especially if the update comes out..Version: 0
✓ Dont botherThis game tries to be to much of a simulation game, its a good idea but doesnt work, you can spend hours without a bite, casting is akward with a max of 50ft, difficult to use lures as soon as you real in it comes to surface, when you do manage to catch a fish the graphics are terrible and you just reel it in without a fight in a matter of seconds then you must wait another hour for another bite, flick fishing is far superior in every way, the only thing that this game has on flick fishing is that you can drive a boat to a different location but again graphics are poor, fish finder doesnt work and you dont catch when you do move. Do yourself a favour save the extra cash and just get flick fishing its far superior!!!.Version: 0
