✓ Almost half decentIt started out to be fun but in my first tournament I was sent out of the game 5 times in the first 3 minutes because the ads were in the same place as the reel!?!?! Who's brainiac idea was that? I thought it was just me till I read the other reviews... and honestly don't think any fishermen are going to be in in the right mood to buy whatever those ads are trying to sell when they keep interrupting the fishing! ✓ No GoodThis is my second review...My first ONE STAR review was taken down, imagine that! Without getting into it too much, This game is really bad. When you drive the boat, you have no control over it. The graphics of that part of the game are on par with systems from the 80's (not naming names) When you are actually fishing, you are fishing against still picture with a transparent layer of movement on top of it - it's bad, as you can see peaks and ripples sitting motionless. The controls are terrible, the graphics are bad. Sorry Egerter, this is an honest review, don't take it down again. There is another fishing game in itunes that PROVES that the ipod touch is capable of rendering full-motion liquid or water, I suggest that game as it gives a MUCH better and truer experience. This is the year 2008, there is no reason I should be playing a game against still, non-animated scenes. Glad I was able to play the lite version first..Version: 0

✓ Needs Work...I gave this more stars than it deserves because I think it has a lot of potential. The first major issue is it isn't very stable at all, it crashes a lot. Secondly the boating portion of the game needs serious improvment, a 3d tilt controlled boating environment would be good, or maybe just have the boat follow your finger. The graphics need some work, while the real images look really great the cheap graphics that are overlayed take away from what would otherwise look really great. Some ESPN style graphics and statistics would bring this game to the next level. It's a great work in progress, but the developer needs to update this real quick before someone else takes the idea and does it right..Version: 0

✓ UserI really like the game, I just wish a fisherman would have created it. It is not realistic at all. A one pound bluegill and a 57 pound Musky basically gives the same fight on here, not in real life. Also, on the game jigging seems to be the most productive presentation, no matter what lure you are using, even a spinnerbait, again not true at all in real life. ✓ Total bull and a scamThe game was fun until I realized after downloading it that I cannot get rid of it. Nothing I can do will delete it from my iPad. And I get a TON of spam email now as well. If the developer did not mean for this to happen, they may want to update soon. If they did mean for it to happen... Well, it is a good thing I am civil. I just want it off of my iPad. In response to the developer’s response. It will not delete from my device. Other things have been deleted since trying to delete your app. The emails started almost instantly after downloading. You may not have done it, but someone may have been nice enough to mess with your app. Don’t take the review so freaking personal. You may want to check on it. ✓ What the ball$When I got this game I thought to my self did my dog make this game and I said there is a good chance because it's stupid and nothin like real fishing plus every time I tried casting out it would go only 24 feet and I would try every different direction and I would throw it hard but It just went 24 feet and that's not far and when you get a fish hooked all you do is make your reel go faster or slower and you get the fish it's like oh wow I got I big fish with my thumb that makes me feel so great now what to do with it oh nothing what a great game and the fish finder is nothin there is never that many fish in the spot you go to all it does is tell you that there is fish in this spot when your driving but when you stop they go away I guess or THERE NOT THERE in the first place. wow what a Game I got to give it to who ever made this you really must know your fishing when you seen it.Version: 0

✓ Bad design choice for ADsI just finished downloading both lite versions of this and the saltwater game and found them very enjoyable, until the ADs kicked in. Then I found it very frustrating to even play the game succesfully with all of the AD interuptions. Considering you cannot return anything you buy in the Apple store, people count on the free versions to be a snipit or preview of what the real game is like before they shell out money on the full version. In this case, although I found the graphics impressive, the audio relaxing, the game design appealing and the load times low, but I will not be buying the full versions of either of these games. I see it as a reflection of your design skills and do not wish to waste my money. To the SOLE game designer, I read your notes about the AD placement and trying to get people to purchase the game. But instead of ADs put a time limit on the game, reduce size and number (variety) of fish, limit number of lakes you can play on, only allow practice mode. If I can't even play the game for 2 mins how can I properly evaluate the game to buy it? Great, you sat in the car at the dealership and want to take a test drive, but the sales guy won't take the price tag out of the drivers window so you can see where you are going, are you going to buy the car? ✓ You May Catch A Dink!OK, here's the scoop. First of all, this app is not expensive but in my case there is a bit of principle involved. I downloaded iFishing Lite to see how it was. I wanted more lakes so I started to purchase them one at a time. Suddenly, there was an update from the app store and the four lakes I purchased were gone and I was back to square one. The so called 'company' is Canadian, there is no support (the tricky email address under support goes nowhere), so you can't get help. The 'companies' idea of a good time is getting enough fish to bite and buy the app and you're on your own while 'Chris' laughs all the way to the bank. Sorry 'Chris', you've been released. For those of you reading this review, skip the app and take a child fishing, It will offer fond memories that will last a lifetime....Version: 4.4

✓ Volume controlStarted game with phone on mute as this turns sound off in most apps. Main menu there's sound. Fair enough, you have to turn it off manually in the app. Go to options, turn sound and music volume to minimum, sorted. Or is it? Start the game and immediately a voice comes out at maximum volume! Why put in a volume control if you're going to override the user's decision? Some people choose to play without sound for a very good reason. Utterly rediculous!.Version: 0

Weights on the smaller gamefish, such as crappie, rock bass, bluegill, spot on, but on the larger, like Pike, Muskie, Catfish, and especially the Largemouth Bass, you are WAY too high, not realistic. Why can't you advance to the next lake when you have captured 1st, 2nd, & 3rd places and the largest fish and surpassed the money total needed to? ✓ Nice app but needs work.First of all the steering on the boat is difficult, hard to control. the throttle lever needs to be moved over, it's hard to steer without hitting it. Reeling the fish in is not very realistic, you just push on the reel. You should be able to turn with your finger like the other fishing apps. And with such nice graphics, why is this app limited to just fresh water fish? I would love to see salt water added, and more of a selection of fish.
