✓ Missing features...This is a pretty good racer - could be GREAT if 2 things were done (very simple things too, can't believe they're not there already): 1. Allow us to choose b/w MPH & KM/H (c'mon we're not ALL american or british!) 2. Give us some alternate camera views (better, still, let us set our own preset views, bonnet cam, etc) Why are these not implemented already? Wouldn't you love to manually set a cam view wherever you want and have it as a cyclable preset? (That applies to ALL racing games for that matter) Would take the developers 10mins to add these features...and I know coz i'm a developer myself... Other than this, this game is good. ✓ Will you please stop complainingOne of the most annoying things I have ever heard of is rating a game 1 star just because it doesn't have everything you wanted, like the ability to change the truck's color. Seriously. Do you seriously expect the dev to do any update just because you said so? Probably not. Well now to the game. While I agree with the reviews that say it's too easy to flip, I agree. ✓ Amazing! What?This game is absolutley amazing. There the best graphics I've ever seen on an iPod game. It's like ps2 graphics. It's amazing. The only reason for 4 *s is because it dosn't have 2 player which isn't that HUGE of a deal and would be an amazing feature. The other thing it's missing is accelaration controls sadly :(. And with that control (along with a brake button!) I bet it would make it to the very top of the apps list! Like the acceleration button on the right and the brake button on the left (which could also be the reverse) and then the app would be perfect. I'm hoping the creator reads this and makes an update for it. I also really like the music. It's awesome..Version: 0
✓ Great updateLove the new cars and areas. Also love how you can free roam with CPUs. Great work. Only app I can find with a great fee roam mode. I would love to see atvs and dirt bikes and possibly a mini map u can click on and see the entire area. And also a stunt track. Or just add stunt tracks into the exsisting areas. One more thing. If you guys get Bluetooth muitiplayer or wifi multiplayer it would make this games awesome. I would love to free roam with three of my friends..Version: 0

✓ I like it (1.99 much better )I know everyone wants more ... me too. Thoughts - Moon/Mars rover landscapes. Really go abstract with the landscapes. How about steep climbing - slowly climbing up an uneven surface - add a tilt gauge - endless possibilities. Love the free roam. ✓ Impressive..This game is one of the best driving style games I have played in the app store. The handling, like most driving games, takes a little getting used to buy it won't take you long. I like the way you don't have an accelerate button, it just goes, all you have to worry about is the brake button and on such a small screen it's a godsend. Fantastic number of courses, decent amount of vehicles to unlock, ok graphics. Good game overall. Of course there is always room for improvement, like any game. But it's a very good effort. Perhaps in the future there could actually be a championship table so you have to beat AI players across a season and not just win a race to unlock the next course? DEVS: Couple of bugs I have found: 1) crashed on start up, had to reload 2) on easy, after 2nd course race finished, using a black beetle, the result screen appeared with the continue button at the bottom. It would not let me click the continue button at all. The screen just hung. Not good. Hope it's not a regular bug. 3) I noticed on a previous review someone said it does not save on exit. I hope it does. Just about to check now...if not...deleted! Overall. Great game. Improvements to the gameplay would be good, although I suspect the type of improvements needed would be a whole new game (4x4 Jam: Rewired ?).Version: 0

✓ Good but has problemsLike other people have said it needs more jumps... There are also 2 VERY frustrating problems... For one the land raider thingy, in a race, is extremely aggressive because when u pass it it will turn and spin you out. 2nd one is when I'm driving my vehicle and I slow down to turn or I missed a gate,the vehicle stalls for like 3 seconds and I lose races because the other vehicles outrun me... :/.Version: 0

✓ AwesomeThis game is really fun, complete open world with loads of race modes, free roam and many trucks to use as well as a basic but fun single player staged to play through. There are multiple camera views including a first person head cam which is very enjoyable. The graphics are fairly good but the car physics are a bit silly with too soft suspension and difficult steering especially on the beetle style 4x4 It would be good if there was some mud effects on the vehicle when you are driving as it would be great to get them dirty and damaged Maybe more effective game modes like Rally with a fixed track as the current races are difficult to follow because of the lack of easily visible barriers. It would be 5* if there was multiplayer mode. Overall you will most likely enjoy this if you are into rally/off-road games although do not expect amazing graphics. Worth the purchase..Version: 2.6

The one thing that really bugs me (pun intended) though is if the display is re-oriented it loses the touch screen function and the game must be exited to resolve. This means the race I have just finished must be done again. Please fix. A couple of mods would be great. Can we have a multiplayer version over wifi or Bluetooth? Bouncing over the hills and swooping down into the valleys of the rough terrain is always a blast. There are lots of cars from which to choose... But I want to color my own car! I want to make it my own! Let me customize my vehicle with any color and design combination I want! Then, I'd really have a stake in the race. And it would be fun to see what others did to their cars. The only thing that really bugs me are the phantom trees. Instead of passing through those trees as tho they were ghosts... I'd like to have them stop your vehicle cold and cause some serious damage. Like in reality. Besides, it would make it more challenging and fun to have to learn how to navigate around them. My kids and I miss the profiles option. Each of my kids used to have their own profile that kept track of their individual progress in the race circuit. But that's gone now. Too bad. ✓ Fun but not too addictingLove it! "Quick Race" mode is fun and addicting but "Career" mode is somehow too easy to be addicting. Higher performance cars seem to be detuned to make player win championship easily (a Beetle can beat a higher performance Pike Climber or Custom Pickup). Ironically that makes it less addicting. I win the championship within 2 days with my kids crawling and bouncing all over me while playing. So to make it more addicting especially in "Career" mode keep those high performance cars as what they are fast and handle well and also make us able to tune or modify the low performance cars like LandRider and X-Revo with higher performance shocks or engine then it'll be the best racing 4x4 game app ever and I'll give 5 stars :).Version: 2.7

✓ Graphics updateI've had this game ever since it came out for the IPhone 3G and the graphics have not improved much. ROC has great graphics and I really like the game, but this has choppy graphics when the app is made by the same company. I know this is an old game, but if y'all redo the graphics more people will buy it. ✓ Please Update!This game is awesome but you need to update it. You need to make the easy mode harder and you shouldn't have to buy vehicles with real money. I thought it was a real waste of money but the spieler buggy was so cool I couldn't resist it. I want to also say that if you think the "unlock everything" setting was cool, you're wrong. It's sorta like cheating. I don't like it and am glad it is gone. Anyways add a map showing you where you and your opponents are. Like some people have been asking about, I agree that you should be able to make your own vehicle and add more to unlock. ✓ UPDATE !!!Great game but it needs a city landscape where you drive in a city, higher speeds, motorcycles, actual jumps. Think of clever landscapes like golf courses, cities, Oceanside rainforest, etc. Do something with the trees like make them fall down when hit. One of these is, when turning to inside cockpit view, the shaking of the grout beneath it is just unbearable to drive in, you can't see and it just shakes an shakes, Two, it would be nice if you could have the option of manual transmission and automatic, because automatic is not always the best, Three, instead of having push to go forward and push to go back, it would be nice if there was a slider, like a throttle on Xplane9 so we can choose at which speed we go at! Four, the car seems to have odd suspension, the car leans back when stationary and this is very disconcerting when on bumper view! ✓ Love the game had it dice releaseI love this game, ive had it since it came out and alleays play it. It's one of my favorite apps availivble. I don't know why one guy on here says the cars go slow up hills. In the sand dune my truck jumps when I drive over them, and the max speed isn't 50 mph i can get the trucks up to 100 mph on flat terrain. But there still fast in hilly enviorments, and the races aren't all the same, there's different modes. Granted the controls give out at points, but the game is still fun. And the developer alleays makes good updates with fixes. All in all I love this game and how the developer made the buggies and trucks ave good physics, it's kinda like motorstorm pacific rift, but on the iPhone. I would recomend this app to anyone who loves a good game to race in, and anyone who loves just haveing fun driveing around in free roam enviorments. I give it .Version: 0

People who say the controls are bad have obviously never been off road driving. It's a little buggy (sometimes after a race I cannot continue, but since the update I have not had that problem) but that is overshadowed by it's excellent features. And yes km/h would be good. ✓ Revised my review due to updatesI used to play a lot of Invictus' old PC game 1nsane, and this appears to borrow a lot from it, including the excellent vehicle physics. The updates they've added to this game since I first wrote my review have negated my criticisms about having too few vehicles/game modes/environments/game modes. The career mode is a welcome addition that has made the game much more fun and given it a bit of a structure, so you now feel like you're actually achieving goals of some kind rather than racing simply for the sake of it. Now ranks along Real Racing as best racer on iPhone/iPod Touch, and only the lack of an analogue stick stops it being better than PSP racers..Version: 0

✓ Really fun until...I'm playing on the career mode on easy, and I get to the very last event! And so I try to do it but the computer players can teleport??? I have proof too. The computer players are ahead of me by about 100m. They get the gate and the next one is right behind us all by about 200m. So I turn around knowing that I'll get the get cause I'm 100ish meters ahead. But once Im about 50m away from the gate. The computer players are on the other side of the gate! The thing is, theres no object to the game, no unlockables, only two different vehicals, and really only two true different races (because the only thing you can do is change the laps and/or difficulty) in each environment. ✓ GREAT APP!!!I love this app a ton, but the thing is, could u give your car tune ups..? I mean I have everything unlocked but i have TONS! Of money laying around... And FIX THE CRASHES!!! First my custom pickup if it was flipping and rolled back over without stopping, the wheels go F.U.B.A.R and I can barely drive and the thing with the spielers buggy, good god fix that things suspension.. The idea is fantastic it is reasonably priced and there is pleanty of content but this is all very much overlooked by the fact that cars dislike corners. I come up to a corner going at 40 - 50 and attempt to turn round the corner one of two things happen. 1) I turn and the cars rolls into half a mile away from the track or 2) I press the home button because I'm fed up of crashing. So please fix the steering on the cars and this game could fetch 5 stars from everyone who plays it..Version: 0

✓ 1NSANE for the iPhone, finally!!!This game is great! It plays just like the PC game 1NSANE; these vehicle controls work perfect for the iPhone. The "Free Roam" mode is the best part, it's like virtual 4-Wheeling. The gravity seems a bit heavy though because you can't seem to catch BIG AIR on the jumps. A note to INTUITIVE/INVICTUS: when you add more terrains and vehicles - please consider the jeep "Wylie" from 1NSANE or some kind of open-top 4x4 and some of the other very cool user-created vehicles from InsaneHeat. ✓ Worth the money.This is a application that is worth it's money. Although there are some improvements I'd like to see. The main one is to fix the wheels in the cockpit view, because they point out which makes it hard to tell which way you are going, especially on the buggies. Another thing I'd like to see is multiplayer, and to have it where if you have the bumper, cockpit, or hood view, you do not go to external/helicopter when you flip or go off the side of a hill. It would just look cooler if you ask me. Lastly, possibly make it so the wheels don't come out if the body/go into it, and possibly limit the travel of the mesh you see so the ground underneath is not shown..Version: 0

✓ Decent game. could use an updateThis is a good game, good price. its fun and the physics are great. however, there are a couple of flaws. first being settings. this could do with an option to change mph to kmph.. and a accelerometer calibration because my ipod has a slight vear.. the maps could be abit more viabrant and have more objects (more trees, grass) and there should be more hils and possibly some jumps to get some airtime which would be fun with the physics and the fun factor of this game. vehicles could also do with a higher top speed to create a better sense of speed. the trees could also have some colision boxes (car reacts when you run into a tree. i am looking really forward to an update with the features..Version: 0
