✓ Difficult to setup, use and print.Setup time approx. 2 - 3 hrs over 2 days. Need IT help. Hard to follow instructions given. ✓ Nothing but regret£150 printer and I have to use this god awful app to print from my phone? I can’t even use it with my work laptop because it NEEDS the Epson print app (blocked by local permissions) and can’t be setup as a normal printer. I can move a single image around the print area but I can’t add a second? If I want to print 3 small images on a single sheet, I either have to use another app to collage them and save as a new image or print them on 3 separate pieces of paper? Fantastic. I click the “share” icon on a photo and select the Epson app. IPrint loads and says it’s not a supported format. I select “add image” inside the app and select the image I want and it works fine. So, the format isn’t a problem, the app is. I want to print something from an email? Cool, guess rather than selecting “Print” I’ll have to save it to my iCloud Drive, then open the IPrint app, select “print document” navigate to my iCloud Drive and select it. How straight forward. Funny thing is, the printer is great but if I could go back, I’d spend an extra £100 just to not have to use this app. Absolute garbage..Version: 7.12.0
✓ What is the point of this app?I downloaded it because suddenly I could print from the rear tray (from my phone) after the latest iOS 16 update. Still doesn’t appear to be an option. Can’t find any info about it. Also, how do I print without borders? Now, because of borders, it is making my image smaller. What about scaling the PDF? Doesn’t seem like an option either. This is my busiest time of the year and as a small business owner, I do not recommend Epson. It is nothing but issues and costs me more money than necessary. This printer uses color ink magically when all I use is black ink, so I constantly have to buy it. This roadblock comes at the worst possible time. ✓ Epson iPrintI agree with everyone’s comments here about the difficulties of connecting to an Epson printer, even a call to there chat “help” line did not get me connected. Have tried again today after giving up yesterday and have now incurred more cost downloading suggested apps on top of paying for a printer which works but I cannot connected to. Epson need to address these problems and could at least acknowledge the comments posted here, otherwise not much pint in having a review page. Money back? Not holding my breath!!!.Version: 7.6.3
✓ Worst printer/scanner I’ve ever used in my lifeThe printer is low quality and it boasts low footprint but the high cost I paid for this and could not register it then a nightmare to scan let alone get the up to date firmware to get it to operate. i’m returning it to Costco for my $545 and getting another laser printer..Version: 7.7.4
✓ Don’t buy EpsonI just lost my two Epson printers because they monitored my printers and asked me if I want to upgrade my printer which I agreed to and then they destroyed the printer from far so I cannot use replacement cartridges this total loss of privacy is unbelievable how can you buy something from a company and they monitored from Japan or someplace and then they disable it never buy Epson it will be a big loss for you. I cannot even express in words how angry I am. Not only you would lose your printer in the future because they have the capacity from far to disabled it but you also are supporting horrible behavior from a company towards the customers They are welcome to destroy printers in the country of Japan but to come here and do this to American people is just horrific. ✓ Photo quality ipad poor phone goodPrinting photos and art on my ipad does not work out well regardless of if I use glossy or plain paper. They turn out very very dark and hard to distinguish. I have wasted a lot of materials trying to get it to print these better. When I use my phone the photos turn out perfect, bright and very clear. Puzzling! ✓ Poor with Epson ET2720No access to Epson creativity suite as its “not supported” for this model which I bought specifically as it was supposed to print great photos. No tab for collage offered when trying to be creative through this app either. Epson need to fix this - it’s ridiculous that a printer wouldn’t be supported for their own software in 2021 Also few options to edit photos that were included in previous software such as brightness, colour etc. Not up to standards one would expect with the hefty price tag.Version: 7.6.4
✓ Always ask for location and always paper JamEvery Epson printer I ever own including my ET 4750 has been a paper Jam machine. Also why does it keep asking me for my location? Back in the days we had printers with all of the same functionalities as printers of today and yet, they worked without asking for location. Linking the functionality of a product to the location of the user is a dumb idea because the more access to the GPS, the quicker the battery drains. And then there is the privacy issue. That’s why I give this review a one star. I wish more people will do the same so companies like Epson can start making smart products again..Version: 7.7.3

Just bought the XP-2105 my GOD it’s a nightmare - you have to go through all these friggin apps to print and half time I won’t let you and says can’t find airprinter. I often want to print directly from emails, you know just hit print, end of storey. and it just won’t let me. I have to file things in Pages on my new iPad the. You can’t simply delete a page you either have to start over or use other third party software. ✓ If you have the option to avoid the iprint then doIts over complicated to connect to, ive had this issue for many years with printers, always big long complicated programs and now the new generation of printers dont have a screen so its a combo of button presses to get to the desired setting to connect etc. Then you can just print on your phone you must connect to printer via wifi… then go to the app and print there, but the standard settings can be changed but chabge straight back the next time. ✓ Wi-fi connection instructions really awfulThe instructions for Wi-Fi connection (not Wi-Fi Direct) are simply dreadful. At no point did they include instructions to press the WPS button on your router before the printer will try to communicate with it. I spent nearly 2 hours trying to get the printer on the network until a friend suggested trying the WPS button. Then it worked. Also, on an iPhone printing seems to have to be done from within an Epson app. It doesn’t seem possible to use the ‘print’ command from within other apps. Annoying and primitive..Version: 7.12.1
✓ Great the first printI will start with the fact that I don’t have WiFi in my home. I use my iPhone for anything I need to connect. This app is great the first time it is set up for printing and you can print anything you want on the first setup. If you want to print anything after an extended period of not printing, it errors out with incorrect password and I have had to delete the app and completely setup the app again as if it were the first time using the printer. I bought the printer expressly because I don’t have WiFi and want to print from my iPhone without WiFi. Something about the printer, this app and the iPhone software causes the “password” to be incorrect on subsequent uses even though the password in the phone shows exactly what the printer displays. Might need to improve that aspect of the app..Version: 7.12.1

✓ Quality printing from a device not goodWhen printing from a PC the print quality is fantastic as I am able to select “High” as the print quality but when printing from a device (iPhone or iPad) there are no print quality options, just standard, which means every time I print an image or photo there are horizontal lines. ✓ Epsom TS-2726Hi, I’m very sorry to say this is the absolutely worse printer I have ever bought. I previously had HP printers with no problems at all. My last printer was a Canon Pixma that wasn’t great so I thought I was buying a better one this time was talked into buying this Epsom at Curry’s I just assumed the salesperson would know more about printers than me. I told him photo quality was important to me, the photos I printed on this printer were absolute rubbish way too dark, I adjusted the density then printing too light. The salesperson said this printer was easy to use, not so. Menu panel on the front of the machine is ridiculous. The printer would not connect to creative app was saying not supported by this app despite my printer name showing up. I did connect printer to WiFi successfully. I could go on and on about the way this printer has been configured I have multiple issues with it. So very dissatisfied with this machine. I have now just basically thrown away £229 of my money. So that’s my review. My opinion of Epsom is really poor. I did only give one star rating I think it’s showing two, I would have given no stars but no option for that. I am really very good with modern technology so it’s not me that’s the problem it’s your printer. Whoever designed this can’t be very good at his or her work. I have a lot of pictures and files in my computer NOT phone and the only way I see to print is emailing it to my printer. Who seriously has time to sit and email 1 picture at a time. ✓ Scan Features Need An UpdateThe scan part of this app is poor and lacks much of the settings of the Mac app. For example you can only scan up to 300 DPI when the Mac app will scan 600 and 1200. Epson told me 2 years ago that they were about to release a brand new app that would have better scanning options. Obviously that was not true. This app would be great if it supported the same scanner features as the Mac app. Since I’ve been pretty much paperless for about 10 years, I do very little printing with my WF-4740 and a lot of scanning and it’s sad that this app just has very basic and low resolution scan features..Version: 7.9.1

On the router press the WPS button (I tried to connect using wireless direct without pressing the WPS button and the printer would not connect). b. Then press the WiFi button for 7 seconds and hold it down c. Then press the 'i' button for seven seconds or more until the lights stop flashing e. Then press the 'i' button to print out you technical Epson printer identification information and PASSWORD I HAD 2 OTHER INCORRECT PASSWORDS PROVIDED while trying to connect to WiFi. Unpacking, setting up, connecting to WiFi and making 2 prints took about 4 hours, due to a lack of clear simple instructions. I use English. And iOS iPad Pro Even I just left out place the tablets and phones near the printer. Print quality from my L3150 is just OK. I dumped my HP Hewlett - Packard Printer, too much interference with HP overriding my use forcing me to change the ink cartridges when it was printing fine. I like the Epsom Ink system, but the instructions do not match the ink colour locations on the printer and due to the confined space where I set up I could not see the colour location diagram. Eventually I realised the connectors are fail safe, good idea but tell us in the instructions..Version: 7.7.1

✓ Need improvementThink the Epson iPrint makes life easier. You don’t need a computer to print files. You can print over Wi-Fi from iPhone or iPad. Could be better with more printing option available. I find if I need a certain size print you can’t print it. Only programmed option for example there is paper size, Media type, layout (which is borders) print quality, paper source, Colour, print date. Auto correct and sharpness but the most important thing for me is print size 50% 100% or manually adjust the print size. Paper size is no good as it don’t give you the Percentage size you want. ✓ Rubbish printerUnfortunately recently I had to replace my much loved Epsom printer. It was so easy to AirDrop from my iPad and iPhone. So I obviously replaced it with another Epsom this time the XP-3105. When I opened the box there were no instructions whatsoever. So I contacted Epsom and spoke to a delightful lady who kept me on the phone for nearly an hour just to enable me to set up the scan procedure. By this time I was quite exhausted and she sent me details of how to make my iPad and iPhone compatible so that I could AirDrop. I was determined not to be beaten but I was! My next move was to bring in an expert to give me a hand. He also failed so I took the appliance back to curries but by this time unfortunately I had gone over the 28 days.I asked if I could change the printer but the gentleman there took 3/4 of an hour connecting my phone and the printer to their Wi-Fi. What chance do I stand when it takes an expert this amount of time? I have brought it home and once again have to get someone in to try and sort it out. If you are thinking of buying this device my advice to you is DO NOT. What is interesting when I was asked to put a nickname to this review my first one was cheesed off which was taken and the second one was worn out which was also taken. ✓ Time consumingWhen I print it requires that the app stay front and center on my screen. When I put the app in the background to look at a different screen the app stalls printing until the app is forefront again. So if I have a large print job it ties up my iPad until it is finished printing. This is quite inconvenient and I don’t understand why in this day and age something like that is required. You should be able to print your documents and then push the app into the background so that you can get other work done. This is not productive at all..Version: 7.7.0
✓ My printer isn’t an Air printer. This should be the solution.My Epson photo printer is not an air printer although it has wifi. At first the app was quite good once I worked out how to open a web page or document in the app. This was changed so you could hit the share button on the iPad and select Epson iPrint, worked reasonably well but some things just wouldn’t display properly in the app e.g. MyHermes labels. That improved recently until the latest upgrades, now Epson iPrint is nowhere to be seen, can’t be selected (obviously if it’s not there) , so I can’t print labels, patterns, recipes, my dog’s DNA reports. ✓ Nice try, but not good at all.It was a HUGE struggle trying to connect my Epson 2400 Printer to any device. For example, we had to navigate through so many apps, and we only found one out of many that decently works. Still, it was super annoying to deal with, and the quality isn’t even that good. The colors are dull, foggy, and have random black marks on random parts of the paper. Everything seems to print out pretty small, but I guess I have to toy around even more to figure that out myself. Overall, I have not had a good experience whatsoever using this printer, and I hope we can get a new one soon that works effectively. (I guess that’s that little harsh. Not really.).Version: 7.10.2
✓ Lacking on Scan OptionsI have had Epson home printers for a while, and have been using this app on my mobile devices for just as long. I find when scanning a multiple page document to send to the boss or accountant etc, I have to scan each page as an individual page, there is no option that I am aware of for multiple or even double sided documents (I’m currently using an Epson WF-2750 which I hate). ✓ Worst printer everThis has to be the worst printer on the market. The instructions are terrible and almost impossible to get set up or even print a document. In saying that we have owned this for a year and have not printed a single piece of paper. We tried to take this printer back but could not return it. ✓ Decent Printer with link probsWhen the printer is linked to my device it works great. Yet I find myself having to unplug the printer and reset the IP address too many times. It was very frustrating in the beginning because the instructions on how to look up the IP are nonexistent After the 10th time and much cursing at it -I’m a pro now. Nice unit works well. You can air print but only by loading your documents to the app, something I never had to do with my up laser jet printer. ✓ Terrible printerThis printer has not performed well at all since after a few months after I got it. Quality has never been that great on items that I print regardless of how many times I clean the print heads, after only a few pages of printing the ink is already low even though I buy the extended ink cartridges, and it acts like a printer from the 80s with how much time it needs to “prepare for printing” sometimes taking as long as ten minutes to begin printing something off. ✓ Printing frustrations due to app limitationsI sent this email to Epson, and I’m posting it here too. I’m feeling frustrated right now. I bought the Epson eco tank 2720 thinking I would be saving myself money in the long run by being able to print out my children’s curriculum. Well I went to print something out today and after 100 pages were already printed I realized several of the pictures were not printing. I used the print option from my phone instead of the Epson iPrint, because the Epson app is annoying. I want to print back to front and I would literally have to print one page at a time. It doesn’t allow me to just print even or odd or select just the pages I want to print. Since my printer doesn’t do double sided printing this is problematic. I ended up printing one page from the Epson iPrint that my regular phone printing app messed up, and the Epson iPrint did it correctly. However, this was not encouraging, because of what I previously stated. It will take me way too long and be too much work to bother printing it out. Took 3 tries to complete my task because the Docusign app (also stupid) kept timing out. Why not instead set a bit somewhere in memory at the FIRST acceptance of terms and conditions? Then when a user enters to do a new print job and there are pending NEW terms and conditions, complete the print job and THEN insert “To continue using the app, please review and/or accept the revised terms and conditions”. ✓ Not very accurateI’ve been using this app for about a year to print my digital drawings from my iPad to my SC-P800 Epson printer. I have to say I get more and more frustrated with it the more I use it. It would be helpful if there was a ruler / margins view so you could ensure the drawing printed to the correct dimensions and in the centre of the page.... I do try and set this us on the app I use to create the drawings so theoretically I just need to hit print and it should be right but I’d like to be able to double check it in the printing app once I’ve selected the appropriate paper sizes etc. I’ve often tried to line it up in the centre just visually (or comically using a real life ruler gently held against the iPad to check) but then when the image actually prints it’s off centre. Sometimes by a fair bit. Which is definitely not how it looked on the preview in the printing app. Very frustrating as the paper I use is very expensive per sheet and I have wasted so many sheets because of this - I sell my drawings and I can’t send my clients an off centre drawing.... I do like that I can print direct off my iPad using wifi though. That is handy. Just wish the app was more accurate..Version: 7.6.4
✓ Easy to use but limitedThis is pleasantly easy to use with an iPad but is rather limited with more advanced photo printing and it does work as easily as you could expect. I wish I could access a fuller range of options within the printer driver which would make it much more useful to me. The Epson driver for PC has a very full range of features and I would hope these might be added in the future. In reality I can only print a high quality photo from my iPad by using the presented options which doesn’t even tell me the resolution of the printing (other than high, medium, low). Not sure if the reason for this is with Epson or Apple. ✓ Sort out AirPrintI don’t have space for your stupid app and if I did I still don’t want to have to save and then refind an email attachment just to print it. With my last printer (Canon, was brilliant for years) I could just open the attachment and hit print, no app, no save to phone first, no mess. ✓ No AirprintBought an Epson printer, downloaded the iEpson app. Registered with Epson Connect. All the printer parameters were showing enabled. Tried to print an iCloud document from my iPad pro and the epson printer could not be found, " no airprinter connected". Went back to try and print from the App directly and there was no option to print a document stored in iCloud. Epson are being very less than completely honest. No where could I find anything that said it would not be possible to print from iCloud. IOS devices are wide spread and this omission unfortunately means that it is not not possible to get a refund from the retailer, because the printer does work for some users. ✓ It Has IssuesI use a lot of text (.txt) files on my iPad Pro for my business. I view and mange these files using the Apple Files app. However since I installed the Epson Print app I can no longer open/manages my text files in the Apple Files app, as clicking on a text files automatically opens the text file using Epson Print app. The only way I can use the Apple Files app again is to delete the Epson app. Epson Tech Support said this is an iOS issue, but after an hour talking to Apple Tech Support, they have confirmed that this an issue with the Epson Print app. Also The app takes many minutes to connect to my Epson Ecotank 2650 and the app won’t connect to the printer if it cannot access my location. Why on Earth does a print app need to know my location on planet earth. ✓ Reluctant app user - poor print quality from EPSON 2750.I have discovered my new EPSON 2750 does not implement AirPrint in a sensible way which works for me. The only way to print a photo is to download this app - which is over-engineered for straightforward printing as I could previously do with my HP- even if it’s brilliant at more sophisticated things others want. This might be forgivable if the print quality was better. I have discovered the quality of printing for both simple black/ grey scale text looks washed out. And remains so after nozzle & print head cleaning. And more importantly I have just tried a couple of photos and compared with what I had printed from my HP it’s like someone turned the lights out - dull colours, not as vibrant as the original or the HP print - nowhere near good enough to properly represent the original photo. I am very sad my old HP printer died. I do not want to keep this EPSON… so many glowing reviews from others but in my view it is an expensive mistake. Let’s see what EPSON support can do. ✓ Really hard to set up to wi-fiI’ve tried several times to connect to my wi-fi and it kept telling me my password was wrong and it was not. After speaking with technical support many times and even to my internet provider, I returned the printer and got a new one of the same model thinking it was defective. The new one had the same problem. I had to speak with a technical supervisor and she finally found the problem. We had to restore default settings and only then go through the Wi-Fi wizard. Very complicated! Besides that, the commands shown are really small to see and they change all the time between arrow, diamond and ok buttons. Overall, not user friendly at all. ✓ Impossible to connect to printerWhen opened on its own, the app loads and connects easily to a printer. But that’s of little value, as nobody stores documents through the native app. Instead, we use the Share function -> Epson iPrint function. But I can’t print here because it says no printer is connected, despite the printer being connected when the app is opened from the Home Screen (see first paragraph). All attempts to connect here fail because the app somehow cannot find the printer. So taken together, it’s not practical to use this app to print, hence the 1 star review..Version: 7.7.4

✓ Could be betterThis app has been helpful as far as giving me more options printing from my iPhone vs the basic built in options. For that I give it 3 stars. However it would be a lot better with some basic functions added such as shrink/enlargement %, or print “actual size” options. I’m not talking about pinching and pulling touch control settings that result in inconsistencies, I want an actual numerical value scale that allows me to shrink or enlarge something by 25% or 50% etc. It also has this annoying thing where it doesn’t know how to override the printers presets, so I have to make it match the printers settings, it should just let me control those options as a one off from my phone without any aggravation..Version: 7.12.1
