✓ Terrible app! DoNOT use itTheir instructions on their app site Are way too General! They assume you know what they are talking about which I didn’t know what they were talking about. And I donot know their terminology ! It is too general on where you are suppose to find the QR code ! Is it on the box that the HP sent to me that has new cartridges in it? If so somebody at the post office or UPS or Fed Ex put a YELLOW sticker right over it!! Or are you suppose to scan the QR code on each of the HP cartridges? Either way that stupid HP Sure Supply app didNOT accept my QR Code on my HP cartridges that they sent from their HP Headquarters where they make and stock their HP cartridges ..Version: 6.2.4

✓ Invalid ScanI downloaded this to utilize the barcode/QR code scanner. This is for validating quality HP cartridges. Each time I scan, it returns with “Invalid Scan”. Please advise and fix this. ✓ Could be betterBeen using the app to monitor levels on 3 printers for some time now. The previous version was more visual and detailed in how it showed the ink levels. This one is somewhat confusing. Since the latest update, the app is not good at all. For some reason HP have decided to change the ink level "colouring" (far too confusing) and also if a printer is not in range it just gives you dots for ink levels whereas before at least it would have remembered last ink level. HP pls listen to your Cust's, an lot of people are complaining about this recent update!.Version: 5.0.20

✓ Major bugThere's a bug in this app where when I tap the settings gear and then "update information" and put my password in, the app tells me the user ID or password is incorrect. First, the previous dialog box never prompts for a user ID; it only does so on the main sign in screen. Second, the password I put IS correct because I used the option within the app to change it back and forth and I can do that just fine. It just never accepts my password and won't allow me to update my profile..Version: 3.0.1
✓ Horrible appAll it does is funnel to the HP website. Why do I need an app for that? Has a section for "My printers" which is of course blank. No way to designate printers. You just get an error message that no printers have been designated. Designers must have been reading Catch-22. Opening screen has "Info and settings" button but there is no settings section behind the button. Can't imagine why HP would release this. Is it a hoax? ✓ BrokenThis used to detect my printer on my network and provide ink levels. After updates yesterday and today it doesn’t show my printer or levels and now wants me to scan cartridges to even get started. I don’t have the boxes that have the QR codes anymore, I threw them out after installing cartridges. HP, just give me back the old app and leave things alone! ✓ This gives more control to HPWith most printer suppliers they use the web for a variety of positive purposes. HP are one of those that use the internet connection to control what you do on your printer, with your ink cartridges, and with your paper. If HP don’t sanction your choices it shuts down your printer. If this is the case it’s cheaper to buy a new printer but not from HP..Version: 6.2.3
✓ What a faffThought, “well I’ll check that the toner cartridges I bought are genuine” so downloaded this app. Nice and simple, scanned the QR code, ticked the box to say I was a human and then. . . Endless “tick the box that contains a bus/zebra crossing/car/traffic light/lawnmower/unicorn/small hindu boy. . . It’s just went on and on and on and on and on. ✓ Good idea but not quite there yet.I use the HP photo printing App which works really well. I recently ran out of photo paper and ink for my HP printer so thought this would be a good idea. I downloaded it and selected my printer easily enough. Unfortunately I can only choose ink to purchase for my printer, and no photo paper. ✓ Reduced search feature!!This app was a 5 star and used to support me well in my role in secondary education where I manage the reprographics and multimedia facilities. I am just responding to a colleagues request for toner and find that you can now only search for toner by knowing the printer model. From a stocktaking and technical support point of view, it has always been useful to be able to type in the toner number as seen on the box and have the app return the various printer model options. I am now having to look elsewhere for this information or my previously held records. The only useful features this app offers now (to some) are the wireless capabilities and displaying an image of the printer with the search result. The app now seems like a "light version" and the changes seem to have been brought about by stealth and I wish I had never updated. Please bring back the aforementioned feature! I have two (less than 3 years old) HP color multi function printers - one only has the black cartridges listed and the other one is not even in the database. ✓ Useful, but slow looking up pricesThe app is good for keeping track of which cartridges you need for your printers, but is very slow looking up the prices. I was using this on an iPod Touch over a fast WiFi connection. It took nearly a minute to come back with the prices.
