✓ FUN :DA lot of fun, especially to play with other people and pretty addictive too. Love the idea, although often this game makes me feel like an idiot after I've racked my brains for ages and finally give up on a puzzle, only to discover that I had given up on a perfectly easy, obvious word. ^_^.Version: 1.3.1f

✓ Good Puzzler.Similar to some of the word builders that feature in the newspaper, but here we get a clue to the number of words and the alphabetic order that they are in - allows you to work out what the word should be. I suppose it depends on the dictionary that is used to compare but some of my answers were excluded although they are acceptable standard English. On the plus side any of the cruder words that could be made were rejected so could be a good game for the younger age group..Version: 0

I love the fact that you can choose to go onto the next level - or not as you wish once you have turned the light green. I love the whirl button which rearranges the letters. ✓ Abridged vs Full DictionaryAfter playing Whirly Word for several months, I just found that “Options” gives me choice of dictionary. I experienced the same thing other players have written in that I kept playing the SAME puzzles with the SAME words. It was disappointing that there was no update to the game. So I think if those people who wrote in knew about the “full dictionary mode” which is very challenging they would find it enjoyable. I do prefer the words in the “abridged dictionary” rather than the “full dictionary” because there are so many words I’ve never heard of!! I do enjoy playing Whirly Word!.Version: 1.7
✓ Good app but too slow at reloadingI've been playing this for a few days and it's certainly addictive! Would've given it 5 stars but it really frustrates me as it doesn't just stay open when a text or call comes in like most other games do. There are lots of words which will be very familiar to people who do word puzzles but which the app doesn't recognise, and that's pretty frustrating. If you're going to do a word game, then it ought to suitable for people who generally play word games, and those people usually have a much wider vocabulary than this app. With a better dictionary this would be a very addictive game. Two little issues: A six letter anagram isn't very challenging- could a future update give us an option of eg NINE letters? Also, after playing for a week or so, all the new games are ones I've recently completed- that's just too easy, and a little disappointing.
