✓ How about vertical layout?Yes the app works pretty well... if you don't have a card that is vertically aligned. The app cannot recognise characters at 90 degrees angle. If you take a photo from a longer distance to fit the vertical card, the recognition is not so snappy anymore. I hope they will fix this 'feature' ASAP.Version: 0
✓ Bugs, bugs, bugs still!Sometimes it doesn't recognize words for spelling. I also get 961 added to the prefix of some phone numbers copied from a business card and can't get rid of it so calls will not go through. Tried removing number and adding it again and it still appears. Particular one is Honeycell Midwest in my Ohio contacts..Version: 9.2.3

✓ Don’t waste your time or moneyIt’s never accurate when scanning business cards. If anything it makes you put in more work when scanning a business card. You are better off imputing the info your self. Wish I could get my money back. I’m pretty sure I spent like $50+ for what they call the “premium version”. ✓ Great OCR but no extrasI've been looking for a decent business card manager. I've tried a few and this has the best OCR. Also the multiple language OCR really works. ✓ Does not work, I want my money backI installed it, it did good for three cards, I started with the fourth card, I clicked on take a picture. The camera opened with no controls. I was looking through the lens. I deleted the app and downloaded it again. same thing happened but after the first card. Also there is no contact info on their website. ✓ Purchased. So I wasted $60 as there was no trialBad decision, but it was a buy without a try. This is where buyer beware. Lesson learned. Recognition horrible, therefore not useful at all. I read the review, have the iPhone 14 pro, so good camera. I would say, take a pass on this one. Maybe in a few months there will be an upgraded. ✓ Good App in GeneralGood at OCR in bright light with a steady hand and a non- fancy business card. For very complicated cards with weird layouts - just enter the info yourself. Tooth-grindingly annoying that the latest version defaults to a "Salesforce" subscription - and won't let you skip until you've gone into the settings and changed it. Please ask first, guys and accept that sometimes the answer is no..Version: 5.0
✓ Could be betterThis app has great features that other apps do not offer. I like being able to search them on LinkedIn, save their photo, and export my contacts into an excel file. However, this app can do better with the address function. If the address isn’t correct, I have to make a new address and delete the original because it will not save my edit, or it will mix the state into the street address. Additionally, once I do get the right address and export to an excel file, the state, street, and zip columns are never accurate in the file. It’s very frustrating. Have you thought about making specific fields when inputting the address on the app instead of one long line? One card will work, while the other card from the same company won’t. I just don’t get it. Also, I can’t download the app on my desktop because it’s a windows, and my phone is an apple product and it shows there’s no device found. In order to get the app on my desktop, I’ll have to pay for the app again..? No. Again, this app has better features than other apps, but I don’t know if it’s worth $35..Version: 9.1.4
✓ New User, Not IntuitiveI just paid $40 for this app and isn’t only mediocre. The first card I scanned it made the persons title their name and now that I fixed I can’t figure out how to add a title. A couple more cards in and more errors. Plus, I’m still trying to figure out how to fix my own card which it asked me to scan after I entered the second card. There is a feature you can sms a card to someone, but it’s just ugly text that is sent, not a contact. Not super happy so far and not sure why this app has 4.6 stars. ✓ The app crashed during the last update and is no longer functionalI am unable to reach the technical support or send the information about the situation to the developer, due to privacy concerns that require mandatory registration at ABBYY. The app was purchased in AppStore at Apple, and is no longer functional due to poor programming and lack of support options. During the last update to version 8.31, it stopped working, and is not going any further. All the attempts of regular update end with a message that the app cannot be downloaded at this time. My scanned data stored with the app is not available, and I am fearing that the data may disappear if I simply uninstall the app..Version: 8.31

✓ Very Useful - Some Annoying BugsUsing on an iPhoneX - I use English and Japanese, and wish I could turn off English when scanning Japanese cards. Does well scanning both languages, but the app makes more mistakes when both languages are turned on. English is always on by default. - Annoying app crashes when editing addresses. Most often, while modifying an address, the country selector will suddenly be displayed, and after selecting a country, the app will crash and will need to be rebooted. As verifying data in multiple languages is a tedious task, these random crashes cause significant reduction in productivity. - Add group button doesn’t work when entering data. To add groups, must visit the settings page. - Want the ability to make subgroups of a group. Haven’t tried exporting the data yet, but looking forward to giving it a try. Tried to recognize TD Canada Trust business card 5 times without success. It won't recognize neither name nor phone reliably. ✓ Works okThe interface is smoother than other products Ive seen but in the first 4 cards I scanned, I had to manually correct 4. 3 of those 4 I had to correct multiple fields. Works ok - there are better recognition products out there but this seems to be the middle ground between usability and accuracy. Still better than typing the whole contact..Version: 9.2.3
✓ Great app dreadful supportApp itself is great but the link to Salesforce is broken. Abbyy do not respond to support request emails and I paid an extra £2.99 for the Salesforce link which it now appears I wasted! Also the instructions on backup aren't of any use at all in the latest version of iTunes so I can't back up my cards. Really poor and disappointing when the app reads cards so well!.Version: 5.2

✓ In this release, we have removed the synchronization feature….Abbyy are you kidding? « In this release, we have removed the synchronization feature for scanned business cards to ensure the safety of your data. » One can no longer sync scanned business cards between devices! As the app does not connect to iCloud it has become impossible to see a card scanned on the iPhone on any other iDevice you may have. Clearly going in the wrong direction - I now regret having nought this app as a local one device app is useless..Version: 9.8.7
✓ Integration on Mac does not workThe contact sync's to MobileMe from the iPhone fine. However when you try and Sync another Mac to MobileMe, you have to replace your entire contacts base on MobileMe and this then deletes the contact that you created. Can't find a work around. Another 2 niggles are you can't define in settings which contract group the new contact must go into and same with the Camera Roll, you can't set a camera roll just for your business cards. These items are essential for me and therefore the app is a no go and I would be wishing for my money to be returned. Regards.Version: 0
✓ Latest update has problems1. with the latest update, app won’t focus on the card — it just displays message o move card into frame. if you manual take the shot, it is severely out of focus 2. a troublesome continuing problem is glare from the iphone camera light washing out portions of the card, rendering them illegible. this happens even on matte-finish card with no lamination. i am on iphone 6 plus with iOS 11.0.2..Version: 8.56
✓ TerribleMy expectation of a product like this at its cost is that it would save me time and add real efficiencies. It doesn’t. In most cases, all it does is replace the time spent entering data from a card with time spent correcting the mistakes the app makes when scanning the card in. When contacted about this, they replied that the cards in question don’t meet some amorphous standard of quality. Whatever. It isn’t about quality of the cards, whatever that means. It is about the fact that many cards have different formats and this product, despite its promises and price tag, is not able to adequately address those variations. In other words, it doesn’t do what it says it does. When I sought a refund, I was denied. Don’t buy this. Use an inexpensive or free version or do it the old school way. ✓ MrThe OCR feature works the limitation is with the phone camera and poor lighting. I needed to place the card in sunlight and or light it up with a LED torch to get reasonable charecter recognition. What it did recognise it placed the entire contents into one line ie, number street suburb postcode state etc. I think it's Easter to enter the info in manualy then to time it takes to take and retake the pic then correct the OCR and incorect placement into fields errors. But for a couple of bucks it's not to bad as novelty..Version: 0

✓ Business Card to Contacts misreaderAppaling product. Unless I have missed something it does not recognise text on 90% of the test business cards I tried. Only on one card did it recognise a name and capture an address which I needed to then edit into the appropriate fields..Version: 4.5
