I agree with other reviewers that the rewind feature is very useful. Sounds for this game on my iPad can't be heard, except through headphones (may be an iOS bug, not sure). The music is good, though, and helps when the puzzles require extensive puzzling out. Overall this game is a lot harder than you'd expect from the disarmingly simple art. ✓ Challengingly fun!This is such a great game! It's a bit hard, but in a good way... I have yet to be frustrated and 15 levels in I am at 30 diamonds. No puzzle-platformer should be easy enough to get perfect in every level the first time through. I expect this one to keep me busy for a while and hope there are future updates that provide additional levels, maybe even additional level types. ✓ Delightfully puzzling!What can I say but WOW. This is by far the best and most original action puzzle game I have seen since The Adventures of LoLo (circa nineteen-eighty-something). Finally! (how do you say it!?!?)Beyond Ynth is a brilliant little game, and looks so much more polished than the old one, even if I haven't played that one (yeah, the original is just called Ynth, but hardly anyone knows about that one). How isn't this more famous though, because it's a great little gem, and is worth buying. However (although this isn't a bad point), I really can't believe that "Ynth" is pronounced "doonth"! ✓ Solid game but difficulty that leads to repetition.This game is top notch no doubt. Super well polished and original. Kudos to the team. Gameplay is very hard indeed but I enjoy that challenge. The only thing keeping this from being 5 stars is the fact the difficulty level is so high you will fail (a lot) on nearly every level before getting two crystals. This means you have to do levels over and over again from the very beginning. That gets boring really fast and may detract a lot of people. No need to change the challenging puzzles to make the game easier, though I really do hope the developers add one of two very very simple fixes in a future update: 1. Allow for save points in level so you don't have to start at the very beginning again if you make one silly mistake (FYI: the game is very unforgiving). 2. Allow for multiple lives (say 3) per level. So if you die you just start right where you left off. Again, not all the way at the beginning. Both of these could be options to turn on or off so sadistic gamers can keep it exactly the way it is now. Overall this is a really really good game that just needs one of the two above options to make it an phenomenal gaming experience..Version: 0

Then if you get stuck when playing it has a rewind feature to get you back to before you got stuck. Also, if you cannot figure it out on your own, it has a video for each section to show you how to do it. An ingenious yet simple puzzler, satisfying mechanics and music that made me actually want to take my time on the levels so i could listen to it, rather than mute it (learn a lesson from this, Angry Birds!) ✓ Excellent Game!I was a little skeptical about this game when I saw all of the reviews docking this app for the difficulty, but I gave it a shot and it isn't too bad. Yes, some levels will cause you to scratch your head for a minute or two and the diamonds are not cake walks, but this game is not as impossible as others may say. Puzzles are interesting and keep you guessing throughout without becoming too tedious or frustrating. The only thing that will deter players is the fact that if you die or fail the level you must restart that level. Thankfully levels are not too long or this would really increase the difficulty. ✓ Simply FantasticI've owned an iPad from the day they were launched in the uk and I have over 100 games, but this is by far the most playable of the lot! It looks fantastic, the soundtrack is just genius, the control system looks like it is going to be awkward... But it isn't, it works really really well. There are even some physics in there with resin being sticky and ice being very slippery. I am extremely impressed with the music and sound effects which really make the game what it is. ✓ Fun at firstWhile I found the game to be well made, fun and engrossing at first, puzzles degenerated into timed jumping with awkward controls. On ice levels, there is less strategy and thinking than there is running and jumping without freezing to death. Jumping versus moving controls are easy to touch but awkward. One slight movement in the wrong way and you run out of time and have to redo the whole level. However, the art, cutscenes, and artistic feel of the game shows this is a quality product -- merely one that frustrates me..Version: 1.3

I've been playing for almost two weeks, and while some of the levels are frustrating, many are solvable after a few attempts, but I've been replaying in order to get more diamonds. ✓ Great GameBeyond Ynth is beyond entertaining. Kribl is a very likeable character who needs to be maneuvered through desert, forrest, snow and volcanic territories. It is the right game if you like to think a bit. Concurrently it is an excellent response to those who have low puzzle tolerance (each level has an option to view a video of the correct way to master that level). It is reasonably priced for hours of entertainment. *I have now completed the game and almost immediately started over again. The app definitely rates 5 stars. I am now waiting for MORE LEVELS PLEASE!!! I think I said it all before! I still play despite having gone through the levels a few times. Together with the limited zoom, in some levels,ESP. The ice ones, had to spend a lot of boring time just walking back and forth to get lie of land. ✓ Words donI first found out about this game when it was in its first incarnation as 'Ynth'. I spent hours attempting, successeding and failing levels and I still go back to it now. I'm elated that they've decided to bring out a second and far far far better version than the original. The original was one of my favorite games on all off my Apple devices. This new version is not only the best game I have on my Ipad 2 but also the best game of its style I have yet to see on any other platform (including that of the internet game genre). ✓ Fun game... but...I really am enjoying this game cause I love hard puzzle games. Unfortunately I find the gameplay uncomfortable because the jumping is so awkward. Could be easily fixed, though, so I'm hopeful. Directional jumping is stupid. I have two thumbs capable of multi-tasking. I want to be walking in one direction with one thumb and use the other to jump. What they need to do is make a non-directional jump, it would give me such greater control. ✓ Cute. AmazingBeyond Ynth is deceiving by face value. It was downloaded to my iPad as a joke, but after playing it, is now one of my favourite games. This game is full of character. So many aspects of this game are awesome, and the diverse range of puzzles are fun and challenging. Looks great on iPad and iPhone, however, I found the iPad version more immersive. ✓ Fun to play!I wasnt expecting much from *yet another* paid game that is suddenly *free for a limited time!*. However, I am thoroughly impressed with Beyond Ynth. The music and sounds are excellent, as are the graphics. The controls are easy to learn and gameplay feels both familiar and surprisingly unique, which helps to hold my interest. The levels are challenging enough that I have to think to get through them, but not so difficult that I want to give up on them. I love this game as much as World of Goo and Plants vs. Zombies. The developer really has something great here! *Update* 5/1 This has definitely become my favorite game! I like how you can skip around the map from the ice world, to the forest, desert, volcanoes and back. It keeps the game interesting. If I get bored of completing ice levels, I can jump to the desert, etc. Also the music never gets boring and the further into the game you go, you will find harder levels mixed in with easy ones which is a nice idea. It provides a great mix of fun and challenge. The only problem is...What happens when I am done with all the levels? I only have a few more to go!.Version: 1.3
