✓ Not fit for purpose yetIm using this on a 3rd generation iPad and have to say it isn't very good. The issue I have with both Scrolling Credits and Extras for iMovie is that the output is too low res, when you leave the scrolling set to smooth. If you set the scrolling to sharp, it outputs in higher resolution but the output is plagued by white bars dancing across the screen. I am sure this will be remedied soon by updates, but currently, I am not able to use either of these apps..Version: 9.26

I have a iPod touch 4th generation and I recently updated the app. The updated version allowed you to make "Scrolling text". Everybody else's reviews said that the app works perfect for them. But when I use the scrolling option, it never saves and the app closes. The app took away the scrolling option all by itself. I don't know why it does it and it makes me sad. If you need something to overlay text on actual video footage, this will not do it. The best you can do is have video, transition to a static image with text, then transition back to video. I really wish I could get a refund, even though it only cost two dollars. First of all, the layout looks terrible. It's hard to figure out what to do. You can choose a background, and put scrolling text on it without sound, or you can choose a background and put sound without scrolling text. That's it. Then they want you to save it as a video and add that to iMovie. It's a very poorly done app. No offense to the developers, but you can do much better.
