✓ Usually Excellent, Quirky LimitationsNine times out of ten, I preffer Numbers to Excel (and vastly more than Google Sheets). The concepts of tables being distinct elements is a better concept than Excel's infinite grid. The table styling, filtering, grouping, and summaries are straight up better than Excel. But on some occassions… Numbers is frustrating. Certain features aren't implemnted from Excel, or they are but don't work how you'd expect. For example, the latest bizarre thing I encountered was that transposing cells doesn't work in a document that's been shared with someone else on iCloud for some very frustrating reason..Version: 13.0
✓ ICloud Collaboration is a SuperpowerThe iCloud sharing/collaboration works so smoothly from device to device and from person to person. For recent vacation I created a file with itinerary and basic information. Shared it with family. As more information came in, just cut/paste into added tabs and sheets. Instantly everyone had details on hotels (reservation #s), flights (locator #), activities (confirmation#). Added pricing and bills as that was available. Everything about this trip in one place and everyone had access at their fingertips..Version: 6.2.1

✗ Great app, but needs more sophisticationI found it easy to learn to use Numbers as I was already familiar with Excel. I use spreadsheets to track my finances, home inventory, energy and water use and many other household based uses. I wanted to convert to numbers so that my files were visible on my Imac and mobile devices. In the end I had to abandon the project as the lack of sophistication in the follow areas made it too dificult: *Difficult to create complex drop down lists as you have to enter each item separately. *Cannot create a dependant drop down list *No form entry for Imac, but strangely this is available on mobile versions. My needs are fairly simple, but the lack of these features, particularly the first two made me reconsider converting. This is ashame because this this is a great looking app, but it just needs another nudge forward..Version: 11.2
