✓ So-soJoin.me was one of the better apps for online screen sharing. I like its simplicity, and the quality of its streaming. It doesn't lag too much compared to other screen sharing programs. Sadly, the new participant limit downgraded its quality a lot; it went from 250 participants max to 10 participants for free sessions. Subscription will give you 250 participants a again, but the fee is high. Unless you're trying to do professional meetings, or share your screen between a few people only, Join.me probably isn't the best choice..Version: 2.0.556

✓ A bit misleadingThis seems like an awesome app! However, what I was looking for was a way to provide remote assistance to my mothers ipad2 via a desktop browser- to be able to "screen share" her screen and do what is needed remotely. ✓ Audio drops randomly in meeting when you speakI have used the app for about a year and I would have to say it is not really made for business settings. The sound starts good but during almost every meeting it goes down and there is a higher chance of that when I speak. It’s so embarrassing when have a team meeting and suddenly while I am talking it goes down while the whole team is waiting. For longer meetings the connection is very flaky and keeps going in and out and the team keeps hearing that annoying beep in and beep out sound over and over. ✓ Could be betterCould be a useful app. I used the app on my iPad2 to connect to Windows Vista OS. My ipad2 only uses wifi and does not have 3G. Connection was ok and was able to see other persons screen. Able also to watch video showing on PC screen. Would be useful if there was the functionality to have sound. My ipad has Facetime, so thought it might be able to use the VOIP functionality, but on clicking on the phone icon ipad hung and nothing was seen on the PC. Disconnecting on IPad was not instantaneous - it took approximately 20 seconds. The app crashed a couple of times and on logging back in the old connection could still be seen along with the new connection. Chat works fine. Screen changes on PC had reasonable refresh times on IPad. Could be a useful app if the functionality to take control of another person's PC was available..Version: 1.0.50

✓ Good luck - I'm an IT professional and I couldn't make it workThe only "result" I could get was a "Service Error" every time I tried this sorry excuse for a "service". I tried from 2 different Macs + iPhone. This app is advertised as a online/video conferencing solution with the slogan "Video Conferencing Is Easier Than Ever". It does nothing of the sort. After wasting an hour of my time trying to make it work (I spent 14 years in IT), I gave up. First of all, be sure to read the system requirements (deeply buried on their website - good luck even finding it) for this "video conferencing" app: Firefox - audio only, Safari - no audio or video, Internet Explorer and Edge - no audio or video, Chrome - audio and video. After figuring out (they of course don't tell you this in advance) why it didn't work in any browser I initially tried, and eventually tried it with the only supposedly "supported" browser, the latest version of Chrome, twice, with two different meetings, all I got was "Service Error" messages and a page to "sign up" for the service. Both times - no meeting. If you enjoy wasting your time, go ahead and try to make this "service" work..Version: 4.11.8067
