✓ Way overratedHokey graphics, trite puzzles, and lots of tedious wandering back and forth - the bane of most point and click puzzles. Would be ok if you could fast track between discovered screens..Version: 1.03
✓ Hints and Map Icons Don’t Work!Bought this app with high expectations. However, the icons to access the hints and the map don’t work at all. Not sure what’s going on, but it’s a major glitch. Please fix. Until fixed, I can’t recommend this app. Such a shame, too, because it has lovely visuals, a nice soundtrack, and an intriguing storyline. NOT RECOMMENDED.Version: 1.14
✓ Frustrating navigation and disappointing endingThe puzzles were okay, but a little too simplistic. What was frustrating for me was that you always face the same direction so there is only one rendered screen per node. The puzzles are pretty A-B-C and not a lot of opportunities to deviate from that prescribed path. Even when I figured out the puzzles beforehand, I still have to find and journal the clue. When you solve a puzzle all you get is an earthquake-like shaking and something moves or opens. The ending is the same. A lost opportunity and nothing special. Just a shake and a text ending. No magical bringing to life the people, just a "good feeling" that I obviously didn't share. Sigh..Version: 1.06
✓ Don't buy!I finally got all the way to the last puzzle, no matter what solution I followed, with video walkthrough assistance, in the season of summer, as instructed, nothing worked. I,had to abandon that game without finishing it. It was part of a paid bundle. I hope the other two games will allow me to finish. I regret the purchase..Version: 1.09

✓ ShallowNo storyline at all, you basically put the last item you get into the next obvious outline, looking like you have solved and opened the precious inner treasure of a temple, and it literally reveals a wooden lever which you then take to the next outline slot. SO SHALLOW and devoid of any intrugue or tension to explore apart from initially you think you might discover a cool lost city. You don't, everything is like the start. The graphics are 'fairly' pretty but that doesn't make it worth spending money on, you would feel better looking out if a window. The developer obviously think if they follow a point and click formula (as they list in the description) and have pretty graphics they can make money- yes they can but they haven't made a game.Version: 1.01

✓ Great graphics, but very little replay value.This game works REALLY WELL if you’re going in blind, but if you know what you’re doing on a second and third play through, it looses a lot of the replayability, so here’s how I would improve the game RANDOMIZED PUZZLES To keep things fresh, try making the puzzles randomly generated, or pick from a random selection of pre made puzzles, this will keep players engaged with a new puzzle and to make sure not all playthroughs are alike.Version: 1.14
✓ Short and sweetThis is a great game, but given that I had to pay for it I expected it to be mug longer. I downloaded it four hours ago and it's already complete. The story is interesting, if not a little thin on the ground, and the puzzles are just the right difficulty. But it does feel like its not quite done itself justice. This could have been a lock more and after buying it I was certainly expecting more than it was. Good for a few hours wasted time, but doesn't quite live up to its potential..Version: 1.01

✓ Interesting, pretty, but needs polishInteresting game, great graphic quality, reliable (no glitches, or crashes) but feels like it could use some work. The hints are all-or-nothing - they're not hints, just a complete list of instructions - and many of the puzzles do need a least a small hint, but I still wanted to solve at least part of it myself. The bigger thing I struggled with was navigating around the different areas. There's a lot of going back and forth to different screens and somehow that didn't seem to work as well as it could. I'd be happy to buy the next game these guys make, but this one didn't quite get there for me..Version: 1.0

✓ Interesting game, but too messyI've enjoyed this game for a while, but then quickly grew frustrated with it. The maps becomes far too extensive and eventually you find yourself trying to recall how to get to the tile You know what you need to be on. Further, the clues are too disorganised. A quick checkmark to see that you have already done this particular clue would really assist with gameplay. Overall, this is a beautiful game, yet somewhat poorly implemented..Version: 1.03

✓ AmazingI found this game was quite challenging which is the kind of game I love and the graphics are beautiful. I had no problems with this game (e.g crashing etc) and found that it was well worth buying. P.S to whoever accidentally put out the fire and doesn't know what to do with the flowers, you simply need to go back across the bridge to where you found the booklet telling you what order to put the flowers into the fire and you will see the little pot thing with ashes in it. You just need to light the ashes on fire with the flint and put the flowers in the fire in the correct order..Version: 1.03

✓ Good game, really horrible navigationOverall this was a good game. I liked how it wasn't TOO easy. The music was good and it's relaxing to play. The graphics were okay, but somewhat grainy for me. I've seen much better graphics in other apps. However, there was a big problem: Navigation was awful. There were way too many screens that looked similar because of the outdoor scenery (especially in the winter!!!). Every time I wanted to go somewhere specific I had to open the map and figure out how many steps left, up, right and down and in what order to get there. They should have separated all the screens into different major areas, and allow you to "warp" to each main area, or something else that makes moving from A to B easier. This made the game somewhat tedious. I also wish you could zoom in on the map..Version: 1.03
✓ PleasantWith some very gentle music, nice visuals, and an extremely relaxed atmosphere, The Lost City is a fairly nice way to spend an hour or so, and the sort of game you can unwind with before sleep. The puzzles are mostly relatively easy, with their quality spanning a range from being quite cleverly thought-out to being a bit contrived and "inorganic" in terms of their logic and rewards. Also the game does occasionally fall prey to direction issues (admittedly not uncommon in this genre) such as not really signaling to the player when vital items can be retrieved for use more than once. Overall a pleasant and short experience that seems reasonable at the 69p price tag..Version: 1.01
