The free only scans and in my opinion dose a grate job and has the nicest interface of all the apps I have tried before. ✓ Finally a decent QR reader app!I scan QR tags quite a bit due to a research project I am running on my iPhone4 I had been using Google Goggles (free) and RedLaser (also free). Google goggles works most of the time but when it fails, it really goes off track and suggests other images, etc. Plus the photo needs to be uploaded to Google servers prior to analysis - so it takes many seconds to find out if you have a good scan or not. RedLaser is just annoying. It takes a long time to recognize a good QR and does not have any enhanced functions like Qrafter does. Qrafter is fast, accurate and can scan from my photo library, etc. so when I am on the run, I can just take a snapshot and deal with scanning it later. Free app is good as is but I paid to turn the ads off and unlock advanced features. Still great deal at $3.98 :).Version: 1.4

The bonus of reliable results from scans of dubious quality - both EAN ('supermarket') and QR - codes makes this a worthy purchase. However I see room for improvement. I'd like the ability to "batch scan" and simply store the result as a text string which can be exported in XML, CSV or similar. I'm thinking here of a batch of items to ship to customers or invoices to check or similar. Put simply, why let such good scanning technology go to waste? ✓ Very courteous and prompt supportI was trying to create a QR code of my contact details so I may print the code on my business cards. When testing reading the code using the native iPhone camera app, I noted that my work and mobile phone were both parsed as “phone” without distinction between them. I messaged the developer and in less than 24 hours received a detailed reply explaining how QR codes work and that interpretation depends on the reader (parser). I generally do my coloring in design programs, but after playing with the built in options , found them powerful and handy when I'm away from my laptop. As I read this update, however, it appears that some of the features I fiddled around with in the past (coloring codes, emailing…) are now only available with an in-app purchase. I can appreciate the need to monetize to support continued development. Maybe this speaks more to Apple than the developers, but it seems there should be a way to require in-app purchases for new users and leave features loyal users have paid for intact..Version: 7.0

If you have the need to crete codes on the fly & push them to Facebook/Twitter it's amazingly simple & accurate. You can even color them! I personally like being able to email the Scan History since I do a lot of testing in the field of QRs. Instead of copy-pasting into a text file, just email the History to myself & keep track there.
