✓ WHY??This was really disappointing. I was expecting this to be like the pc version. The effects are over the top. I wanted to go to the hardcore ones, but I couldn’t. It only lets you do the hards ones unless you have a “A” rank on stream version. I am good at fast maps, not slow ones. It was impossible for me to play the maps I was good at. I was also let down when I couldn’t find a way to add my own maps. I would recommend this be more like the pc version..Version: 2020

✓ MehYes, it’s definatly a mobile re make of the PC version of osu!. the songs are decent, but limited. the modes are good, and the tutorial is decent and gets you used to the game quite quickly. the issue i had was it said i ‘missed’ a beat when i know i didn’t, and the beats you have to hit really don’t line up with the song at all. over all, good if you want to prepare for osu! on PC..Version: 2020

I get that you can’t have everything a pc has on mobile but even so the music selection is just way too small and sometimes the tapping doesn’t register properly and will either make me miss the note completely or give me a “50” score on the note. ✓ ShameIt functions okay, but the fact that you cannot log into your account is odd... why twitter?? You cannot download songs freely, and in total there is roughly 25 songs..... Im genuinely amazed that they actually have the audacity to charge £0.79/$1 for 4 songs, when you can get beatmap packs with 20~ songs each, off their official website for FREE. Only get this if you want to kill 10 minutes, the other free beat map packs on the store don't even work, so if you're like me, you have just 2 songs to play. It's just bad, play it on PC for a much better experience, that is COMPLETELY free....Version: 1.51

✓ Good, but needs more songsGreat gameplay, and more fun than the PC version due to the added intuitiveness of finger tapping, a couple more move types utilising the availability of two fingers. The only thing this app really needs is more songs. The only very recognisable song is 'Want You Gone' from Portal 2, and the paid tracks are obscure and not very numerous. If the massive song library of the PC Osu! were to be available for use with this, this app would be ten times better and have much more longevity..Version: 1.14

✓ Good, But A Few Problems.The game is a little bit short, and once you play all the songs a bit the game gets progressively more boring. The surprisingly small amount of songs makes the total play time really short. The game would be amazing if they added more songs, and maybe a few more game modes, (like mania catch etc.) You are virtually done after completing the levels and stop playing due to the lack of content this game has to offer. However, the gameplay is surprisingly good gameplay with the touch controls, which allow you to do a double click, which may be confusing at times, but adds more depth to the simple single click gameplay of normal Osu!.Version: 2020

✓ Utterly FantasticThis game is massively entertaining for anyone who is a fan of rhythm and beat games, most notably the Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! and Elite Beat Agents line. It's magnificently put together, has a great polished feel, and works exactly how you would expect it to. With a price tag of 'free', It doesn't get much better. The only downside is that time almost literally disappears into this app. I started playing the stream mode and next thing I knew it was half an hour later and my lunch break was over. ✓ I dislikeNo osu, not delectable, doesn’t meet my requirements among all standards. This game is not perfect, nor is it even decent. The minor song selection is not even close to adequate in my book. My gameplay was slow, confusing, and unresponsive. EVERYTIME I hit the circles, they would either not hit properly, or I would actually hit it. However, this game takes no skill whatsoever. I would know myself, as I am a high ranking player on the actual game. I, however, was going to give this version of the original game an attempt, as I was horribly bored and could not log into the original. As expected, I was severely disappointed. This game does not deserve the many 5 star reviews it had received, and is very inaccurate compared to many other osu knockoffs. I would seriously love a complete version of this, including many songs, however due to the lag within the circles no matter how high the Wi-Fi connection may be. ✓ What’s the point?I am a very skilled osu player and I am surprised by the lacking on content. It’s just my opinion. It’s only good for people who can’t use osu droid. With droid there’s more songs skin acts it’s like pocket osu. But this just feels like a spin-off. Not going to lie it’s fine. But osu droid has more. Osu droid takes more effort to install but you get so much in return. Compared to this. The stream mode is fine. What makes me also mad there’s no hidden hard rock double time flashlight so you can only get normal scores. And I prefer that you can go on expert any time discluding the A needed. ✓ OFF BEATAbandoned Game. Devs are gone. No new songs, no updates. It didnt get famous because the beat maps all feel totally off beat. The hit marker wants you to hit either 1ms before or after the actual song beat. Makes it impossible to play by actually trying to go to the rythym of the music. ✓ This gameThis game is pretty good but sometimes the hits+hold are dumb to time. The stream plus is a massive jump and since there there’s only three difficulties I feel forced to play that. In the stream and “stream plus” Is just not fair. Sometimes the song is at a good level but then I hit stream plus and everything is just borderline hard. ✓ Awful rng gameplayThe timing is way to strict and inaccurate, and the song collection is way too small. Cytus and Cytus ii is a way better choice, much bigger and better song selection and much more reasonable timing even for million master. I’ve gotten million master on all of the chaos level 14 and 15 songs on Cytus ii so I know it’s not my skill. Even hitting the notes in this game, if it isn’t perfect to the impossible millisecond (in a rigged kind of way), you’ll lose life, and when you get knocked down a stream there is no way to move to a higher stream despite what it’ll tell you, instead the stream progress line will remain at the end and never bump you up. ✓ Lag on iPhone 12 Pro MaxI really love osu & I’ve been playing it for decades now (lel since 2006, in fact), so if this were at all up to scratch or playable, I’d give this full marks, no questions asked! … Sadly, even with the universal offset set to max (+32ms), it’s still out of sync, and it may even gradually be getting worse as the songs get more intensive. I’d love to give this a whirl on an iPad or something a bit gruntier, but I also figured that this’d work on the top iPhone to date (honestly, might actually be an issue with the new chipset in the latest iPhones… I didn’t think about that tbh >_>). A real shame. If peppy ever adds support/adapts this to the iPhone 12/+, I’ll play the heck out of this. Till then though, I’ll leave this warning for other 12+ owners. *It IS barely playable* - and maybe the offset can go higher to somewhat compensate - but granted this is just the start of the hurdles to tackle in truly enjoying this version of the game (like setting up your song library with a PC, etc), it’s probably asking too much compared to the other ‘mobile-exclusive’ rhythm games out there. ✓ Good start but flawedWhile the graphics are really great, and as a fan of osu! I can tell ya it looks great. However there are a few fatal flaws that make me not want to play it too often. 1) Only comes with 4 songs, it should have come with at least 1 from each star difficulty -- 1 to 5 stars 2) Not one song from an English background (although I understand licenses for those songs are very expensive) - I kind of expect to only see chinese/japanese/korean songs. 3) Ridiculous pricing for only 3 extra songs. With only 4 songs, it gets repetitive really quickly, and £1.99 for ONLY 3 songs is stupidly high. Maybe 79p 4) The judgement during gameplay is VERY strict. On osu! the window for 300, is much larger, on this it feels like maybe 4 ms each way. Dont expect to get an SS... (biggest flaw) To ppy: Dont get me wrong, this game is great and I recommend people get it for the updates which may or may not listen to these problems. Isn’t working...I’ve played this before, and a pure 4 star rating because of the perfect gameplay and okayish amount of songs (all amazing, I just love lots of options), but for some reason all I get is a black screen when I open the app. I’ve tried restarting it multiple times, touching my home button and going back in only to get a black screen and the sound playing back, and even re-downloading the thing. Sometimes I’ll see the title screen flash up and then disappear with or without the music, but my taps do nothing... Is there something I’m doing wrong...? ✓ Rip off, but a good oneThough it's a COMPLETE rip off of the Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! games for DS (the taps, sliders and spinners are identical in every way), they've done a good job here. Works great so far on the 4s. It's responsive and fluid. Free songs are pretty cool, but it definitely does need more of them, considering other titles like Tap Tap offer around 100 songs for free and feature some big licensed tracks. Hopefully there will be more free tracks to come to keep me hooked. In the meantime, back to my DS!.Version: 1.14

✓ Its okay?There are many complaints I have, but lets start off positive. Its really fun and I enjoy tapping and sliding my fingers on the screen. I also really like the music and design of the game. Now off to the cons. The game is either slow, or doesn't give you time. I click on the circles right on time but then I get a game over. The tutorial was also pretty confusing, but it was fine. Also, it makes you want to do the slides a bit faster. Here are some suggestions. Make a little speed thingy, where you decide what kind of speed you want and a small demo to test it out. ✓ Great but...I really love Osu, and it’s very challenging and addicting! However, once you play it a lot, you realise the song library is kinda small, with not a bunch of interesting songs. So I went on the Osu! Website to download Beatmaps but I needed an account to download the songs, and to get and account it explained that I needed to download the game ON PC and follow instructions from there. But you SEE, I’m on iOS and there it doesn’t seem to be possible to get an account here. I also don’t have a PC at home :C Help? Or if it isn’t a thing, can you PLEASEEE add it? ✓ DisappointingI play and love osu on PC and was excited to see an iOS version. It looks great, and the stream is a great idea, but it's not quite there yet. Because the circles and sliders appear all around the screen, the app suffers from that classic touchscreen problem - you can't see what you're doing because your hand gets in the way. The iPad version is too big to hand hold, so your moving hand obscures what comes next; especially annoying when two hold prompts come up at once, and your hand is hiding one. The circles on the iPhone version are so small, it's just not fun. Secondly, as others have mentioned, the bundles of songs are too expensive. Why not allow us to sync our PC library? The included free songs aren't enough to convince me to splash out for the paid ones. Sorry..Version: 1.46
