✓ Cheap & nasty electronic chimes.The chimes sound like a cheap electronic quartz clock that you would buy as a present for someone you don't like. If you're expecting this app to sound like a real 8-day movement clock, you will be very disappointed - as I am. Cheap and nasty. Uninstalled within 1 minute..Version: 1.08
✓ Not what I expectedI thought this ran in the background and just chimed away. It doesn't. Because of the way it works a notification pops up each time it chimes (4 x an hour) and these all have to be acknowledged. Not convenient on the iPad at all. LutherSoft did respond very quickly to my query, but the fundamental problem was that I did not understand what I was buying, so there was no fix for me. Two stars only therefore, and one of those is for prompt customer service. The App itself? Sorry, but it isn't what anyone wanting a chiming clock app would imagine..Version: 1.0
✓ Great app unless you have an Apple WatchThanks to the developer for updating the app for iOS 15! It’s back to what it was, unless you have an Apple Watch… the notification goes to the watch first and the chimes don’t play. No way to disable it from going to the watch….Version: 2.5
✓ Several bugsA bit disappointed. The app icon on my iPad screen shows the generic three circle and x. Not iPad friendly as the screen does not rotate to landscape. I would also like to hear higher-quality chimes..Version: 2.4.11
✓ Not off to a good startI just purchased the Full version but I don't appear to have the ability to set the chimes to ring for only a portion of the day. All I have is "All Day" - on or off. I have emailed support to see if they can tell me what I'm doing wrong. I'll update this review based on the response from LutherSoft..Version: 2.4.6
✓ DissapointingVery dissapointing App it continuously puts notifications on the screen of when the chimes have played. Also when answering calls the notifications pop up and starts playing chimes for each notification you cancell and then the program pops up thus ending your incoming phone call. Even when you turn off notifications the app stops working even on the paid version, I do not reccomend this App..Version: 2.1

✓ Fix the Whittington chime tuneI bought this for the Whittington chime but the notes are incorrect. I have a 1930's mantle clock which plays the Whittington chime on the 1/4 hour that I enjoy. This is such a disappointment. The Westminster chime is fine though. Software engine is great. Just research the correct chime tune for a Whittington 1/4 hourly chime strike. I think the St Michael's chime tune is a bit dubious too. I look forward to a revised release of this app with the accurate notes after you have correctly researched the strike tune...... then I'd rate this app 5/5. Gregory Paton.Version: 1.06

But when it crashes (when app never installs properly), I have to keep deleting/installing program to hopefully stop telling me I have an apps notification when I haven't. Needs looking into. ✓ App does not work with current iOSSo I see we can’t contact Luther oft. The makers of this application. That actually disturbs me. And one instance of the operating system it was broken. Then in another instance they fix it. Now here we are up to iOS 17.0.1 and it’s broken again. So of course I downloaded the app again after deleting it from my phone and then reinstalled it. the problem with this is the following. I don’t want a bunch of notifications showing up in my notifications center just to get the sound to work. Is there a workaround for this or will they update this? ✓ Not working now. Follow-up 01Follow-up 01 ... Minus 1 Star ... Since the upgrade the app has stopped functioning properly (see 1st Review - below). This is a buyer beware condition. I know it's not much to spend, however it would be nice to get what you pay for. I really enjoyed this app, however with the recent OS 10 up-grade the app has stopped working. I deleted the app (full version), re-installed it, and it still fails to function. It would be nice if the designer(s)/programmer(s) examined the recent up-grade and make it compatible with iOS v 9.3.5..Version: 2.4.6
✓ Wrong tubular bells sounds and minor slip-ups with the clock chime languagesI love that you can choose all your chimes and when they all chime, but the Canterbury and Winchester chimes could do with a little correction. Sadly, I can't demonstrate how in this review, but a couple of the notes are wrong or mis-hits. I have both perfect pitch and a very good understanding of just about all clock languages, rhythms, sequences Etc. The bell sounds could be improved or upgraded to either, real bell sounds from real bells or even the chime master or schoulmerich true voice which is as close to a bell sound as you will get. Also, this is a great app to consider adapting it for Apple watch users too..Version: 2.4.11

✓ Had to uninstall ...We recently refurbished a grandfather clock in the house, and I love hearing the chimes every 15 minutes and at the hour. So I thought, “hey, let me load an app that can simulate the same when I’m out and about.” BUT after purchasing the full version and installing in my iPhone X, I found that not only was the chiming random - never had a clue when it would sound audio, only vibrate or do nothing at all, BUT it disabled the voice on my calls!!! The phone would ring, connect, but no voice audio in either direction. After a couple days of trying to figure out what was going wrong, I uninstalled the app and presto - voice calls are working again ... Unbelievable 😞.Version: 2.4.12
