JamUp Pro for Positive User Reviews

Sounds great! And Audiobus compatible too! Only thing missing is MIDI controllable effects.Version: 2.1.3

Brilliant app they are abandoningThis is much more functional than Bias FX 2. Sounds better too..Version: 3.6.42

It really is that good!!I'm a true amp man myself and usually turn my nose up at these guitar apps!! But Im changing my views here.. This jamup pro is very close... To a sound that works!!! I've tried every guitar app there is, and so far this one stands above all the rest!!.Version: 2.1.1

Great app sounds greatAfter I figured out that you had to switch it from mono to mix left and right it works great ! Love the Di Driver for bass!.Version: 3.6.40

Excellent! Add stereo effects and it will be perfect! One of the best amp sims out there, in terms of interface and sound quality. Lagging behind only with regard to stereo effects -- this makes a real difference to headphone listening. Otherwise a first choice (and I've tried them all)..Version: 3.1.5

GoodOut of all the amp software JamUp has the most intuitive interface in my opinion. Sound wise it is solid especially if you use a dock based interface as opposed to one that uses the headphone jack. It also works well as an effects rack for Audiobus..Version: 2.2.0

Best amp sim I've tried so farAs real as it gets on an iPod/iPhone/iPad.Version: 2.4.3

Loading BluesGreat app, one of the best I’ve used. However, loading songs from my iPad library(stored on the cloud) is daunting as there is no search feature. Granted this is not the fault of the app. Start a JamUp playlist, move songs you download into that playlist, then load them to JamUp. The pitch and tempo controls are superb. There is almost no degradation of sound quality when using either. Wish I could start/stop looper with my foot but you can’t have everything. ,.Version: 3.6.42

Awesome app! This is a great app, only problem on the sharing part of the app the Jeff Loomis clean tone isn't clean its just a copy of the rhythm, loving the Ola Englund tone's.Version: 2.1.2

Great app.Who needs a quadbox ;).Version: 1.3.1

Seriously Such a Great AppI love the tones, all the available petals, and they have a pretty spot on tuner w/ tons of great packs to buy that are really worth it. 9/10. Almost as good as the real thing..Version: 3.6.41

Jamup pro is ridiculous!I've been a valve amp man for many many moons now. owning the best I could buy, Mesa mark v, roadster, Marshall el35 with rack gear, fender bassman...list goes on. I never really had faith that digital software could simulate or even come close to what a real amp sounds like. . . but know i have faith. this app is amazing and convincing. tone future is here. honestly, I have not plugged into my Mesa's or Marshalls for months now. I'm addicted to this app. it's the all in one guitarists happy place. get some good powered monitors plug in and get face melting!.Version: 2.4.3

Awesomeness PersonifiedThis app is just fantastic. Now with 8 tracks and cut and paste from other apps into any of the 8 tracks, I just love the whole concept of the app. Absolutely excellent for guitar players like myself and versatile and expressive amps. Sampler, jammer, download amp settings from other users and great on AudioBus as well. Awesome..Version: 2.3.0

JamUp Pro-bably the best!I'm from the UK and it looks like we can't get the JamUp Plug iPhone interface here. Currently I'm using the Tiger iPhone/guitar interface and overall it does a competent job except for feedback problems on some of the more power driving sounds available, and with the Octaver pedal I only get a crackling sound. For now I guess the way forward is the Apogee Jam which several reviewers have praised but that's way beyond my budget right now. As for JamUp Pro, it makes my old Gibson Les Paul sound absolutely amazing. Because of the several offers going I bought the boutique amp package as well as the basic package and am very glad I did; the extra amps are essential if you want to extend your range of sounds. Didn't warm to the app at first because I couldn't get how to switch between amps & fx but persistence and experimentation paid off royally. This is a treasure box for all electric guitarists with iPhones/iPads. Grab it while it's still on special offer..Version: 2.1.1

AmazingBest amp/pedal sim ever created!.Version: 2.4.1

Great app and good valueNice app. It is slow on my old iPhone 3GS with noticeable lag, but nice and fast on my iPad3. Sound quality and latency are excellent. Much better value for money than most apps I've tried..Version: 2.1.0

Recent update causes crashing...I have really enjoyed this app. I have an electric fiddle and can create some awesome sounds with this app. But, the most recent update keeps crashing? Not good, especially if I’m performing. Is there a fix coming for this? Would have given it 5 stars, but for this problem..Version: 3.6.31

Absolutely the best.Without a doubt, the best sounding guitar simulator on the app store. Not only that but it is so easy to work with..Version: 3.1.4

The best I've triedWithout a doubt, Jamup Pro is the best guitar amp sim I've tried. That includes some big names. One of the really striking things is how quiet it is, with little noise even with a fair bit of gain. Standard it has an excellent selection of gear, and there's some stellar stuff to buy as in-app purchases. Definitely the one I would recommend..Version: 2.4.3

Jamup proFar away the best app for home studio, live session, practice tool and more. My gear: Jamup pro, focusrite iTrack dock Ibanez guitar, Fender Supersonic, Boss, Korg and other one. Electronic musician, live music player, gear hobbyist....Version: 3.6.20

Fantastic App.Great app. Easy to use, has a jam tab for practicing your favorite song and the amps sound great. As a college musician looking to downsize my collection I was very pleased to find an amp that can meet the same needs for $10 where a rack mounted processing unit would been 60 times the price..Version: 2.1.2

A nice surpriseBlown away by the tone accuracy of the amps and the graphical representation of the components within this app; such as the amps, pedals, etc. This app very intuitive and easy to use, cranks up the fun factor to 11..Version: 3.6.0

AwesomeWhen I first installed this app ( about a year and half ago? ) it was buggy and frustrating me. I deleted it. I Got inspired again whilst trying different interfaces that would work best with my recording apps and now it's sounds GIG WORTHY. Well done..Version: 3.0.2

Pedal effectsHi I can't seem to buy any packs or pedals to add I've tried many times but the app great but I'm getting frustrated trying to add pedals or a pack please help me thanks.Version: 2.3.1

A world of tonesI love the Positive Grid software and would give it 5 stars but I find some of it works from app to app and some doesn’t. Strangely I can sync Bias FX and Jam Up but my JamUp Pro (which I bought to access the pedal boards) doesn’t show any of the expansion packs I bought. Also oddly Bias Amp 2 is different for iPod than for iPhone because again my purchases aren’t loading even after restore/troubleshooting. So if you like JamUp buy the Pro before you purchase extras..Version: 3.6.40

Essential practice tool!Really excellent app. I own amplitude and ampkit+ but prefer this by far. Works well as a peddle plugged into amp, other apps tend to be noisy. Practice tool works well easy to use and can play straight from iTunes without copying. Really good initial choice of Amps and peddles and the share presets works well, similar to fender fuse..Version: 2.1.1

Fantastic App!This is hands down the best guitar effects app on the AppStore! This is now the only tool I use to track guitars in my home studio! Just brilliant!.Version: 2.4.1

Synchronization ProblemOn JamUp standalone, playback of recorded audio in the 8track using the metronome is fine. But, when copying and pasting 8track audio into Auria the synchronization drifts off during playback. I was relying on copy/pasting from the 8track because it's a handy little workstation. This needs to be fixed..Version: 3.6.12

JamUp Pro reviewEasy to use. Sounds great. I can get some cool sounds I can't achieve in some other apps. JamUp Pro should be part of your collection. JerryA.Version: 2.1.3

Simply brilliantThe benchmark for guitar/bass software. A huge range of effects and amps make it possible to get the tone your looking for. Why carry all that gear to practice when you can carry your whole rig in your pocket. If you were to buy all the stomp boxes and amps in their catalogue you'd be up for thousands of dollars. It's a shame you can only give it 5 stars because it deserves 10 or more..Version: 3.6.8

Cool easy App for guitarThis is a cool app for guitar to get almost any sound you can think up real quickly..Version: 3.6.40

Great appOk so it doesn't work with ios8 yet but it states that in the product page! But with ios7.1.2 this app is the easiest and most functional guitar interface and practice tool on iPad / phone. Looking forward to iOS 8 updated version..Version: 3.6.1

Confused customer!I purchased JamUp Pro and a ton of amp and effects models. I have my presets all setup and loved the way it functions. However, I just bought a new iPad Pro and now it won’t let me use the JamUp Pro plugin with GarageBand. I get the warning “App not available. Inter app audio app you have selected is not available at this time.” How do I fix this and get my JamUp Pro plugin working with GarageBand again? I purchased JamUp Pro and all of the existing amps and effects for nearly $100. Now the app won’t even work as a plugin. I’ve been forced to pay all that money again for standard JamUp and its amps/pedals. So I spent nearly $100 and hundreds of hours perfecting my personal presets, only to have the app self destruct. I’d been hoping that it was simply a bug that’d be soon fixed but it’s been non-functioning for several months now. Ultra I am interested in purchasing Bias FX but this current problem has me hesitating. JamUp Pro has been my absolute favourite. The app is superb. I’m a frustrated that I had to buy it all a second time, using the same Apple account. Any refund options for the nearly $100 off faulty software ?.Version: 3.6.31

Wow. JamUp Pro is impressive.I'm really hesitant to use amp simulators because I find the majority of them painfully shrill or thin and digital-sounding. After reading positive reviews I took a gamble with JamUp and I was not disappointed. Within minutes I was able to get a full, clean tone with my tele plugged directly into the Apogee Jam. And there's solid amount of versatility within the initial download with more available via In-app purchases. Initially I found the interface just a bit odd, but after 10 minutes I thought it was great. The ability to change the signal path and save presets it fantastic..Version: 2.3.1

Great App, But Costs Can Add UpI really like this app, however like others of this type, costs can rack up once you start purchasing 'extras' from within the app. Sound is excellent, and each amp and effects pedal has a distinct personality. I am not a big fan of extra purchases and would prefer it to be all up front, if that is $50 plus then so be it. I can see further 'bundles' and 'packs' being offered, so be prepared to dig deep..Version: 2.3.1

It's gudI liek it a lud..Version: 2.1.3

Good app but..I purchased the Jeff loomis metal pack and it’s showing on my iPhone I got it and not on my iPad and I’m signed into the same account. Help.Version: 3.6.40

Low latencyNice app , great sounds with low latency. I like how it integrates into Auria recording sessions..Version: 3.6.32

All you could need in a single app!I'd like to start by saying that I've been playing guitar for some thirty-odd years and that may not qualify me as being an expert it does mean I've played through quite a lot of the gear this app seeks to emulate ( mostly at my own expense!). On the whole I think this app rocks, big style! The sounds are organic and have 'real' feel. Sweet is the word. The bottom line is, if you're a novice or a, fall blow, shredder, this app will give you access to pro quality tones, an amazing price (think about how much a real example of any one of these models would cost!). I really wished had something that sounded this good when I first started playing, and thirty years on this is still one great sounding bit of kit Incredible value..Version: 2.3.1

Great but .......This app is really really good, but I do feel that you should get more for your money. I upgraded from the free version to the pro and to be honest there isn't enough extra content to warrant the £13 spent I feel. I went one better and bought the effects pack for 7 bucks ,an envelope filter for 2 bucks and an acoustic amp for £3 which I was lead to believe would give you the sound of an acoustic guitar to some extent, but it doesn't :) Price wise it can get expensive if you feel your missing out on the pedals and amps not available as options at first, but despite this, jamup pro really does perform well, low latency, sounds great, many options like the ability to play along with your music and make loops, and...... Audiobus compatible :).Version: 2.2.0

Best guitar sounds on iosThis app is great. Tried all the other apps but never purchased anything past the free versions as I didn't feel the sounds were worth the price but this has nailed it. I've been using it with my jaguar and irig and can't fault it at all, sure you get the usual noise but that comes with mobile devices (and probably more so with irig) and not the apps but the noise filters are great and you don't lose too much tone when using them. The amp models are very close and with a good set of headphones you can't go wrong. Also not a fan of in app purchases but these are worth it. Got them on sale but would have happily paid full price for them. They are supporting Audiobus too so can only get better once that lands.Version: 2.1.1

Just Plain Brilliant!!It works! It does everything the others do, only better. Plus some stuff the others can't..Version: 2.1.2

The bestI would buy anything that Positive Grid released. I have yet to be disappointed..Version: 3.6.2

Awesome!Plug in and go nuts! The jam feature is priceless... With two children under the age of two in the house, I could never plug in and blast out a few tunes. Now, I can! This will revolutionize the way I practice and write. Don't how I've lived without this all my life!!!!.Version: 2.3.1

Please fix! Unable to reach settingsIos 17 broke jamup pro, now strip of the screen on the right is unresponsive so no settings! Also barely works in loopy any more, and i JUST got a new ipad to finally use this rig I have been building for 13 years!!!! Please fix! And update to AU3 if you want!.Version: 3.6.42

Good sounds and easy to use.I wish the pitch change could have some fine tuning - only adjusts by semitones. Great for learning repertoire - can loop and slow sections to learn hard riffs or licks..Version: 2.2.0

The Best Sounding Amp App!!!I use Jamup Pro for a few things. I use it for recording(on iPhone/iPad/iMac). I also use it live. The amp sounds are awesome! It integrates beautifully with GarageBand and the Bias Amp app. I use the same interface(iRig HD) for both recording and live. When using it live, I run the audio output from the iPhone to a tube amp. When I run it to the effects loop of the tube amp, it bypasses the preamp section, and uses only the tube output and speakers of the tube amp. I also turn off the cab sim since the signal is now going through real speakers. I've used this setup with a variety of different amps and it sounds amazing through all of them..Version: 3.6.23

App no longer works after latest iOS updatePlease update the app. I’m not able to use it after the latest iOS update..Version: 3.6.40

The best of the lotI've got all the iOS amp simulators and this is the best one . Really sounds like the amps and is the most feature laden and easiest to use. No lag on iPad one and certainly less than the others..Version: 2.1.1

The shape of guitar apps to come?!Whatever the future holds for guitar apps, this one is going to take some beating. Astonishing quality and versatility at an equally astonishing price, this great app does the work of a whole rack-load of gear. All I need is a guitar, my iPad and Bose L1 Compact system. I don't even need my backing-track gear because JamUp provides that, too. Don' t need a roadie, either – I'm travellin' light, now!.Version: 2.1.3

Bought the others this is the best earphone input Amp simulatorI have bought all the others but this is the one I use, do prefer line6 with mobilein but if you only have earphone input this is the best amp.Version: 2.0.0

Great AppGreat app for the practicing guitar player. I am using the Griffin Guitar Cable I bought on eBay because the JamUp Adapter is not avalible where I am. This app rocks, the amplifier models are great and really do add alot of depth and choice in sound. The effects... and theres alot of them, are bang on. There are a few hard to find effects on the market in retail stores and they are expensive, but JamUp has them. The only problem I can find with it is that when I Jam along to my music; slowing or speeding the track up causes pops and crackles in the playback. Although its annoying at times, it is still usable but needs to be fixed. That is the only reason I gave it 4 Stars..Version: 2.4.1

Very good app,but you need studio speakers for anything to sound good.Definitely also get the bias app as well because you can build your own amp. What more can I say?.Version: 3.6.29

Jamup proIts Awweesssoommeee..i love it...Version: 2.3.1

Jam upBest friendly app to use. I had some technical problem with the consepter but happily apple solved it. Very easy friendly app.Version: 2.3.1

So flexible, great sound, such fun.I can't say enough good things about this app, and this company. Great support, great community engagement, and their product management is killing it. Worth every penny (and I've gone on and bought lots of the effects too!).Version: 3.1.2

Best of the BunchI have spent far too much money and time trying out the various guitar amps on Itunes - Amplitube, Ampkit, Stompbox et al. I am quite fond of Amplitube's clean sounds, its pop-up ads and non-transferable purchases count against it. In any case JamUp's amps and pedals are the best overall, especially with the Apogee Jam as your guitar input..Version: 2.1.3

Jamup and BiasI have Jamup and Bias. Started getting some packs too, and will get the all amp and effects one next. So much to mess with and some great tones to make and store. But it does crash often, which is a absolute pain in the **** So hope the next update will sort this out..Version: 3.6.8

Fantastic appGreat sound, no latency, soooooo much fun and way better than greedy amplitube.Version: 2.0.0

Gretsch addictI just got this today and love it, for £6.99 it's a no brainer. You get everything you need to get going unlike ampkit+ (that dosn't include a delay pedal) this has 2 in the basic package. Don't get me wrong, i like amkit too but Jamup pro has the edge imo, and the interface is much better. 2 good fender amps come in the basic package too, as well as other makes. The jamming part is so easy to pick a song from your library to play along to and the looper is easy to use as well. All in all cheaper and better than most of the rival amp sims, the only reason i didn't award full marks was the low number of preset locations 16! but thats not too much of a problem if you don't mind tweeaking your setups to get variation..Version: 1.3.3

Close, but needs tweakingI mainly use jamup as a song learning tool. To get five stars, it needs: 1) fine pitch tuning. 1/2 steps are too big 2) the 'loop' button is far too small and way too close to the surrounding 'buttons'. 3) the play head keeps retuning to the beginning when i restart after manually moving the 'play head'.Version: 3.6.32

Very sweet sounds...I wrote a review for this long ago when it was the only app Positive Grid had out. Since it is still available on the App Store I thought I should re-write it considering how much iOS music has evolved. Of course, if you know about this app you probably know about BiasAmp or BiasFX. There are a lot of people who will say BiasAmp is the best on iOS. I think that would be subjective but for many, that’s the fact. My personal opinion is that JamUp Pro is better for one reason. In my opinion, more choice is not better sound. Sure, you can customize amplifiers and that kind of thing in BiasAmp, and if that’s what you really want, your new amps still work with JamUp Pro. I would spend hours tweaking an amplifier in BiasAmp trying to come up with my “signature” tone only to open it up a week later to find I hated it. The beauty of JamUp Pro Is it’s just like a guitar amp. Plug-in and play. All the great amps have already been made and these ones all sound great without getting inside and changing the tubes or adjusting things like transformers and tone stacks. In my original review I kind of bashed on it for being mono. There were no stereo effects. There’s still not any stereo effects. But the way iOS has evolved for musicians you can add stereo effects to your signal chain before the recorder. Just run it through Audiobus or AUM as an input, add effects then send the signal into a recording app. This has the effect of recording a single mic’d amplifier with classic effects pedals then adding studio effects during mixing. I don’t know if it’s possible but I would really like to see this app become AUv3 compatible. This would make it possible for me to send a single guitar signal to two or more different amplifiers and record them all at the same time. I think I’m just dreaming though. So, closing, I STILL highly recommend this app. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.Version: 3.6.31

So much fun for a beginner like myself. Just wish the expansion packs were cheaper. So much fun for a beginner like myself. Just wish the expansion packs were cheaper..Version: 3.6.32

JamUp rocks!I tried many FX processor/amp simulator apps and only JamUp gave me the tone and the features I was happy with. Amp and FX simulators are on par or better compared to what competition has to offer and Jam function not only allows to play files from iPod directly (no import required), but also has speed/pitch controls and loop function built in. If only I could create playlists to play several songs in a row - that would be great!.Version: 2.4.5

App CrashingApp crashes when loading song into sampler jam and 8trk,what’s up with that?.Version: 3.6.41

FantasticWhat a great app this is. I have used live on several occasions and the sound is great. It's well worth the price for the effects and amp models. The 4 track is ok but not so easy to use as you have to import tracks you have saved, which slows things down a touch ... Unless I am missing something. Works great for bass and guitar. It's just a shame that Alesis amp dock does not have lightning connector, because the foot switch and wah pedal unit would be handy..Version: 2.3.1

Excellent appVery good quality app. Intuitive & easy to use, versatile with great sounds & good selection of amps & effects. I've played guitar for over 40 years & am own away by how good this app is..Version: 2.1.0

Great piece of gear. But one big bug!I am loving Jam Up Pro right now it's great when it's too late to plug into one of my real valve amps or if I'm traveling and want to use something that sounds better than my Marshall MS-4. But the main bug that's annoying me is that the search bar is not working and worst of all songs from my iTunes library keep on playing while I'm trying to use the app making the presets feedback and forcing me to exit the app. This happens even if I haven't loaded a track in to jam along with. This has also happened to me with the Pickup app too. Please fix it soon as I do love what Positive Grid is doing right now..Version: 3.6.8

Good appGood app mai il ne marche plus bien depuis la mise à jours iOS le son coupe avec le iPhone svp une mise à jours pour réparer ça merci.Version: 3.1.2

Still not working on IOS 14Any updates on this issue...Version: 3.6.40

Gud stuffEasy and nice tones but would be good if it gets updated often...Version: 2.2.0

Best amp sim for iPhone but not perfect (yet)I have tried and tested Mobile POD, Amplitube and Peavey's amp sim and for sound quality Jamup is far superior to all of these. POD has a larger selection of user and artist tones to download however the quality of those available in Jamup is better (IMHO). I originally used the standard irig interface (connected via the headphone jack) and I found that unless the output volume was set below 1/3 on the app there was unpleasant squealing feedback, when using a high gain amp. I have since bought a Line 6 Sonicport which connects via the lightning port on my iPhone 5 and this problem is solved, in fact it is so good I have started to use this app for live gigs rather than lugging around a massive pedal board!. There is only one slight issue in that there is a momentary delay when swapping between patches. I am sure this could be rectified with a software update (please!). The only other minor criticism is that you cannot start to create a new patch from scratch (as far as I can tell). I must say Jamup works really well with GarageBand for recording on the go. In addition the jam function is great and being able to change the pitch of the backing track is really useful if you have a guitar in an alternative tuning..Version: 3.1.5

Absolutely fantastic!Highly recommended for any guitarist, pro or amateur. Great selection of amps and effects and the developers are very active and open..Version: 2.3.1

More realistic than the restDefinitely the best guitar fx and amp sim on iOS to date. It's the only one that I ever feel inspired by when I play through it. Loses one star for not yet having Amplitubes excellent MIDI mapping but this is apparently on the way along with Audiobus support. With these additions this will be 5 star easy. With out doubt worth the price of a packet of strings!!.Version: 2.1.2

Love it!!An amazing app..Version: 3.6.2

IncredibleSounds better than any VST or hardware modelling unit I've ever used, very easy to use and cheap too. Couldn't give a higher recommendation..Version: 2.1.3

WoW just wowThis app just nails it. Ease of use and a full setup with just your ipad. I know carting all your gear would be great while on holiday, but this app enabled me to play and jamb along with just a plug in lead and my guitar. I use irig to plug my guitar. It's awesome...Version: 3.5.0

Stopped working with iOS 14Jamup Pro appears to be dead after I updated to iOS 14..Version: 3.6.40

Simply the best!!Simply the most innovative and useful tool ever!!! Use it and TRY prove me wrong..Version: 3.6.35

Pro level guitar tone on a mobile deviceThis new update including the new signature metal amps is amazing. The sounds I'm achieving in this app are having me second guess my live rig. There may be a day when I show up to the venue with my iPad, AirTurn and a few cables in one hand and my guitar in the other. I would like to see a proprietary wireless Bluetooth pedalboard made with tuner in the future. Other than that the only thing I can say is my tube amps are collecting dust..Version: 2.4.1

Not launching in IOS14Is there going to be a fix for IOS14? Please let me know if broken for more than a short time so I can move to another Ap..Version: 3.6.40

SupportLove this app. The controls for the the effects are a nightmare and get my heart rate up just trying to turn a volume knob on my iphone x and my ipad pro. Before finishing this I checked one more time in the support section to see if I missed something, there needs to be a clear complaint or issue department sorry if I'm too dumb to understand your help section..Version: 3.6.32

Outstanding sound and valuePositive Grid has created an app with some of the best guitar tones I've ever heard. It is so easy to use and allows for some great recording opportunities. I love it..Version: 2.0.0

Brilliant, tried them all but to me this is the best. After using the other big name guitar amp I have to say that jamup blows it away, the fact that it is also a universal app is a plus, the in app upgrades are fair priced and all in all feels and sounds like a much better product than others I have tried. I would like to see some kind of mixer for the recorded tracks, some kind of built in multitrack recorder would be the icing on the cake. Cheers :-).Version: 1.3.0

First time for everything!Tried virtually every other app for a decent metal tone on the move and my gosh this is the best sounding guitar app I've ever used I think better than some much more expensive plug ins from other brands costing ten times as much!.Version: 2.1.1

This App Rocks!I use a Sonoma Guitar Jack 2 and now only use Sonoma apps or change the settings. The sounds with this combination are stunning. Amazing value if you buy the bundles. Connected to good phones or a good amp this app competes really well with thousands of pounds worth of pro kit. The ability to share setups is excellent and any of the most popular setups online really show case what you can do with a great app, a great interface and an iPhone or ipad! Go ahead and get the works!.Version: 2.1.1

Probably need to updateI’m still having issues hearing what I recorded when I play it. I think you’re just going to have to update the app there’s probably a bug.Version: 3.6.40

JamupAwesome app. Sounds great..Version: 2.4.1

Incredible. This is the Pandora's Box of portable guitar rigs. It doesn't just end there, the main focus of the app being tonal quality and how user friendly everything is it, guides it right to the top of the food chain..Version: 3.6.0

Great app - Great support from app makerI use JamPro mainly to practice. It’s great to be able to sit on my couch with headphones and be able to play along with songs. I also love to play with all of the amps and pedals. I love having $10K of equipment in my phone. Positive Grid support is great! I had an issue with the app where I couldn’t see songs in the “Jam” section of the app because I accidentally denied the app access to iTunes when I first installed, and Positive Grid was very responsive and helpful in helping me figure out what I did wrong. The fix was simply to reinstall the app. I use the app with my bass guitars and a iRig2. I even have a preset that matches my real pedal board..Version: 3.6.32

Best Guitar AppThe tone achieved from this app is amazing! I just purchased JamUp and BIAS from Positive Grid and couldn't be happier; looking forward to more effects soon. I'm using a Line 6 Sonic Port to connect my guitar and haven't had any problems..Version: 3.0.2

The best...It is very good, the best i ve tried ...but I would like more models of preamp for any situations... My aks sounds amazing, don't need aks sim, amp... Just a tube preamp to go direct... Compressors are not good... All the rest is simple the best thing out there....Version: 3.6.2

Jamup in a jamGreat idea and great sounds but, I can't find any of my saved songs. Also, I would like a help menu on the front page. Having to go out of what you are doing and trying to find a solution to your problem is very awkward and time consuming. A little more info on the front page would make this an ideal app..Version: 2.3.1

Not launching on iOS 14Please fix Upgraded today to iOS 14 and will not launch. Will be downgrading back to iOS 13. It is a fantastic app. Does not launch in iOS 14..Version: 3.6.40

Big Bass soundsThis app sounds better than my $3000 rig. Simple and awesome. Amplitude is no comparison..Version: 2.1.3

Not compatible with iOS 14Hi there, great app so 5 stars for it. But when will your iOS 14 update be available. At the moment the app fails to launch. Thanks.Version: 3.6.40

Tried all the other guitar processing apps and this is the oneI have been using iOS based apps and all kinds of interfaces, this one is the best bc of the master-master plume that makes it a breeze to tweak for clipping and presence. I currently use the xsonic xtone pedal and it sounds great, better and faster than any irig or apogee interface. Jam up pro is easy to use and is a great virtual showroom that offers accurate models of amps and fx that u can base your real gear purchases on..Version: 3.6.38

Inter app audio app please!Awesome stuff! If you update this to utilise GarageBands new inter app audio app function, this thing will be on 6 stars..Version: 2.4.5

Best pedal modelsThis app is awesome. I have been so impressed by it that i bought every package they had for guitar and am ditching my analog pedals..Version: 3.6.2

Useful AND funHere's an app that is very useful and fun to play. The sounds are more organic than others I've tried. Love it!.Version: 2.1.2

Amazing appAn amazing app for any guitarist. I highly recommend buying a digital interface rather than one that plugs into the headphone jack to avoid excess noise which is amplified by high gain amp sims and pedals..Version: 3.6.30

AwesomeAwesome sound out of this app. Love it.Version: 2.3.1

I like it !Had problems with latency in Amplitube . Jamup Pro sounds better, and no latency.Using with an iRig Pro and ipod 5th gen..Version: 3.6.22

My iPhone is my pedal boardI had a line 6 that I really liked except I got tired of lugging it around. Jam Up Pro gives me the sound I’m looking for and is way easier to transport with an iRig..Version: 3.6.42

Great appReally fantastic app. Love all the amps and effects. Compares favorably to other apps such as Amplitube and Ampkit..Version: 2.0.0

Definitely pick of the bunchOnly garage band stands up to this one. Nicest ui of any of em too. Great job.Version: 2.4.5

Haven't turned on my amps to Practice since I got it , GREAT!!!!Wicked app ..Version: 2.3.1

Perfect SetupThis app is an all-in-one app, that surprised me a LOT! I'm using an iRig HD and this, and a homemade BT pedal, for switching pedals or presets. This is pretty much all you'll ever need, playing guitar in a fast and portable fashion. Every single effect is perfect, and the option to place them in any order, gives you the ability to create any tone you can think of. You do get what you pay for, on this app. If you're only using the free stuff, then you're gonna be limited as to how good it can sound. Trust me, buying the in-app upgrades will be money well spent. You're going to need an interface, of course, and a Bluetooth foot-switch controller, to be able to change setups while playing. This JamUp app works with airturn or MIDI control pedals. You could even rig a keyboard, with foot-switches, and use switch control, in iOS settings. Enjoy, --brad.Version: 3.6.29

Use it as a looper pedalI use this with an old griffin storm box (works with 30 pin to lightning adaptor and you can get them really cheap these days). Excellent support for the stompbox. I paste in drum loops from other apps into the sampler so I have a beat box that I can start and stop with a pedal. Effects are very comparable to other apps I have tried. I am using this on an iPad mini2 with no issues so far..Version: 3.6.32

Fabulous!Great sounds, functionality, after sales service and value..Version: 2.0.0

Best of them all!Better than Amplitude.Version: 2.4.3

The best of the bestNo others can beat this one.... With the jammer and the excellent selections of amps and pedals, add to that the excellent and versatil interface.... And of course, the best sound in town.Version: 2.3.1

My faveI have Jam up AmpliTube and GarageBand. JU is my fav by a comfortable margin. The looper and jammer are kinda Mickey Mouse but for tones it is great. Play clean jazz and blues so no comment on the high gain stuff.Version: 2.4.1

Love itThis is fantastic. Love the sounds, love the features, love the interface. Wonderful to record with..Version: 2.1.1

Good stuffJam up is a brilliant program, especially with Bias. My favourite feature is the looper which is very simple but great for practise. The clean channel sounds are not as good as ampkit ( IMHO) but the flexibility of the program is great. I'm starting to play at open mics and will give this a try live. Us guitarists are very lucky at the moment!.Version: 3.1.5

Wow!I've tried most of the guitar apps out there, and this is one of the best. The sounds are just better somehow. Also, it's cheaper than some of the competition. Try it, you won't be disappointed..Version: 2.4.3

Wait before updatingThe app is great. Support quickly helped me re-enable my in-app purchases (delete app from devices and iTunes, then redownloaded within iTunes and re-synced). Very happy with purchase..Version: 2.1.0

Great sounds, but....It's a good impression of a guitar rig and there are decent sounds in there. Enough for the price? Maybe - lots of in app purchases though so it could get relatively expensive. The main problem is the length of lag when playing. It's useless for any rhythm playing. It makes playing lead messy. If you can live with that - I can for what I want it for - then fine. Using it in a re-amping role within audiobus is good for instance. But this is NOT the equivalent of using proper equipment. Having said that, it's a tiny fraction of the price of getting any sort of real gear, we are living in a sci-fi world (I'm old, been doing this for a long long time......).Version: 3.1.2

JamtasticoJamup keeps nagging me to leave a review so here it is. I've been playing the guitar for nearly 25 years, can you imagine how sore my fingers are, let alone the inconvenience of trying to go about my day to day business. Over the years I have played many amps, guitars etc etc blah blah blah. On it's own, Jamup is a capable guitar effects app. Used with Bias, it is superb. I am using a Line6 Sonic Port to record into Cubasis. I have to use a BBE Boosta Grande pedal to give my Strat a hotter signal as the Sonic Port lacks input gain control. The tones and options when combined with Bias are just amazing. Many years ago I used to record onto a 4 track Tascam tape recorder and have recently been using my laptop to create music. This setup blows me away. Jamup 5 stars on it's own. With Bias, double it..Version: 3.0.2

Save money on expensive pedals!Every time I go to guitar shops and see those expensive pedals makes me think Jamup saved me a lot of money. Great job Jamup!.Version: 3.6.29

Why can't I restore my purchasesWhy can't I restore my purchases? I bought all the expansions and now I have none... the restore button does nothing. All working okay now.Version: 3.6.30

Better than expectedAmazing app! I used it with my actual pedal board got amazing tones with it..Version: 2.4.1

Blown Away!Very rare that I bother to write a review - this is definitely worthy of one though. I wish I'd found this app before I wasted money on the countless other ones I've bought. I'm playing a Les Paul Studio through an irig and it sounds fantastic. Other than GarageBand, this is the only guitar app that I can happily play with for any length of time without getting sick of terrible tone. Best amps and effects by far. Presets are all usable and diverse sounding. And so many extras that are lacking in the others - tuner and a metronome that plays in the background, option to jam along to any of your iTunes music, free downloadable user presets and a recorder...can't ask for anything more. Plus it's universal rather than having to pay for the same thing twice like Amplitube. Can't rate it enough, probably won't use any of the others again. Big A + from me..Version: 2.0.0

Awesome SoundBest sounding modeling app on iOS..Version: 2.1.3

Incredible !It's the best app if you want a good tone for your guitar or bass !!!!.Version: 3.6.2

Truly the best Multi Effects App there is.If you ignore the in App purchase issues that seem to plague this app, then it IS amazing. The quality of tone is astounding. I personally own the Axe FX II & The Kemper Profiling Amplifier, along with the Line 6 POD HD500X and the MESA Triaxis. This is most definitely up there. Combined with the glorious BIAS App, you will have a very high quality tone with no issue at all. Tones that can be used very successfully in both a studio and live situation. I wish I was big enough to be sponsored by Positive Grid. Unfortunately both myself and my business are not that well invested in the music industry. Buy this App. Buy BIAS. Buy a GOOD quality interface and RAWK! Truly stunning..Version: 3.6.0

Best iPhone Guitar AppHave tried most guitar amp apps (that work with Apogee Jam) and I believe this is the best sounding of the lot. It has great crunch / distortion / overdrive tones but really stands out for it's fantastic cleans in comparison to the others. The in-app bundles are also pretty reasonably priced with a wide selection of amps and stomp boxes. Depending on your guitar / pickups, you will need to do a bit of tweaking of the various settings, but be patient and you'll get fantastic results, and the sharing / storing of configurations provides a very useful starting point..Version: 2.4.1

Best guitar app everI’m using this app for 5 years I’m playing every day on NYC subway stations the power and stability is amazing, well done Bias team.Version: 3.6.42

Positive grid bravoI use this app more than my amp. I have also plugged it into my interface and recorded on the go. It is brilliant and has tons of tones to play with. Even going from 6 string passive pickups to 7 string active I have no problem dialing up some great tones. Bravo.Version: 2.4.5

Lorrrvv this app!Just a joy to finally jam with some kind of control over things! Amp/cab/stomp sims are awesome great job!.Version: 2.0.0

This app has soulI always used to hate amp emulations, but this new breed gets uncannily close to the real thing in all kinds of ways, such as the way it responds to the dynamics of your playing and the harmonic detail. I rate JamUp with Ampkit and Amplitube. These three all have their particular strengths; in my opinion JamUp wins for...'vibe'. Remarkable bit-transcending technology and great fun to use..Version: 2.1.3

No more updates?Extremely good app but it’s been a while since the last improvement, hence 4 stars. (I have AmpliTube too, this is much better)..Version: 3.6.37

The only one to getI've got this app, ampl**** and ampk**, this is the only one app you should consider especially for high gain, enough said..Version: 3.0.0

Great and affordableSounds awesome, only used to write on the road so far but i love it. Combined with a boss micro br you have a deadly demo studio for under 500$ takes a lot of tone testing like axe fx but sounds almost as good if your a tweaker..Version: 2.4.1

Audiobus temp fixThis is my first review ever but I was having the same frustrations as other people with the audiobus compatability. This is just a quick fix thats not perfect but should tide some people over till the update comes out. Open audiobus and see that the jamup icon is missing, go to jamup and select run in background, once audiobus recognises jamup you can turn off background mode and it should still show up. Not ideal but its something..Version: 3.6.2

SuperLe meilleur app de musique..Version: 3.6.1
