✓ Great memory gameFor some reason, I had a hard time finding a basic memory game app. Then I found this one, and it is perfect! I use it with my aunt, who has developmental disabilities, and it is her favorite app. It times your performance, gives a percentage of correct matches, and has customizable cards. There are two drawbacks-the score takes up a lot of the room so the cards are not as big as they could be (which makes it harder for someone with poor coordination to tap), and some of the cards it comes with are similar colors (some animals like the cat and gorilla look very similar to my poor weary brain!) But it is an incredible app, and I'm going to buy some of the extra cards to support the devs cuz this app rocks!.Version: 1.1

✓ LOVE THISThis app is exactly what I was looking for - it solves every problem i have with other memory game apps. I actually plan to use it with my adult population (I'm a speech pathologist) because you can change the number of cards and extend the reveal time - a very unique feature! I was also very pleased you can turn the success sounds off to make it more adult-friendly, and i like the addition of the written labels below the cards. ✓ Matching gameThis is a great memory/matching game! There are numerous categories to choose ranging from animals to letters and much more (for added purchase), plus the images used for the cards are wonderful. Additionally, the range of pairs you can choose to play is rather large and the overall interface for option settings is nice. It is super for young kids and I'd recommend it for seniors who want to keep their mental skills up to par. It would even be helpful as therapy for those who have been affected by stroke or other brain trauma. In addition to playing the traditional memory game, the patient could be encouraged to say the words aloud as they see the images revealed adding to their level of mental challenge by coupling visual memory and speech skills. The options for multiple players is great, making it a nice sharing activity in school settings, assisted living centers, and fun for family entertainment. ✓ All other Memory apps pale in comparisonMy daughter loves memory, and I like it well enough, too. This version has some nice twists in the two special cards, one of which turns over every card in the game suddenly, the other of which turns over every card that has been previously exposed during the game. You can disable those if you like, as, with all Alligator Apps, everything in the game is fully customizable. I haven't played around much at all with customizing it but the options are extensive, including adding your own pictures. I recall that there is even a rather intriguing option to use audio and video together or even turn off the pictures so that you have to remember which word was spoken when each card was turned over. I've downloaded other Memory apps since and deleted them quite quickly because this one makes them all quite blah in comparison..Version: 1.1
✓ Super!This is really really good. I used my own photos to make a memory game for my nephew, and then added sound bites to each pic, like "Joel and Aunty are baking" or "Joel is playing with his car". My nephew absolutely loves it. Also, I've added special little sound bites for when a pair is found. It really is an excellent app. My nephew can play it on his own, and there is also an option to play against one another (2-4 players). Highly recommend this app if you have kids who like nicking your iPad and looking at photos..Version: 1.1

✓ Memory King!This is a great app. I think that the ability to customize your own cards and sounds is a cool feature! I also love the layout and how polished it looks versus a bunch of other memory apps. For example the background turns the active player's color and the score on the corners are a nice size. I Am giving this 4 stars because when playing on an iPad, there are a few hiccups in the layout, the start screen is small and looks scaled for an iPod and the background is too. The cards also look small with a lot of dead space. Thanks for the nice app that whole family can enjoy! I by all means think this is not a kids only app' teens and adults can enjoy it too!.Version: 1.1

✓ Love it for Turn Taking and personalizing!I'm a special education teacher for 3-5 year olds. They LOVE this app. The screen lights up a different color for each kid while it's his/her turn. There is no question whose turn it is. That's so concrete for these early learners. I've also been able to take their pictures and put them in the game. :) They get excited to see their friends. It's also helping them learn their friends' names. This is huge since some of my little guys are barely acknowledging peers around them. I plan on making a new category for items around our room.
