Machinarium for Negative User Reviews

DisappointedNothing I do will get me past the reactor room. I can’t press on the left panel. Tried 100 times. Thought this game looked good. I would like a refund.Version: 2.4.3

Very buggyCrashes quite often.Version: 1.0

Cool graphics but disappointingI loved Creaks so I thought I would love this game too. It has cool graphics but as someone else mentioned, these aren’t always puzzles to figure out so much as games you have to win in order to proceed. Super frustrating considering I’ve been stuck on the nuts and bolts game for days now. I have won multiple times and every time the robot bangs the table all the nuts and bolts are gone, out of view, unable for me to collect. I’m playing on an iPhone 13 pro max. I don’t know if that makes a difference in game play but I’m about to delete this game. This doesn’t seem right that I have actually won the part of the game 10 or more times but have only been able to collect the nuts once which wasn’t enough to progress in the game. Very disappointing..Version: 2.4.3

HorribleTerrible app. The touch hardly ever works, and although there are certIn places that you have to click, they almost never work. Not worth the money..Version: 2.0.1

Awful on iPad ProWandering around scenes aimlessly before realising you had to pick up something you couldn’t see nor know what it is or maybe useful for. The controls are woeful and the annoying unlock game really grinds. Simple things like knowing the character could jump would be useful. Totally hate this sort of arty nonsense..Version: 2.3.4

Machinarium - doesn't work on iPadI don't recommend this for iPad. I just bought this game on my iPad 4 iOS 10.3.3 (it says it is iOS compatible). every step of the way I've encountered glitches, even following the walk through to the letter, the fine tasks (picking up items, making things work as the walk through says they should) don't work. This is extremely frustrating. Unfortunately, I discovered after my purchase that there a lots of forums online all with the same problems. So,DL onto your desktop or laptop if you must, but don't waste your $$ If you're going to try it on iOS. The programmers need to go back to the drawing board..Version: 2.1.1

Too confusingBeing new to this type of game I found myself completely confused! Where are the rules or instructions? Even just getting into the little book at the bottom wasn't explained properly. The only way I am getting through this is by using cheats and the only reason I'm persevering is because of the $6-00. Don't get this game if you're unfamiliar with this type of gaming format ... Too confusing! I haven't even worked out how to turn the music off so I can play it while listening to my own music. Not impressed..Version: 1.2

Unusably buggyThis seems like a great game, but it crashes constantly. It's also buggy in other ways - items essential for solving puzzles disappear, leaving you stuck, and so forth. At the moment, buying this game is a waste of money..Version: 1.2

Frustrating for the wrong reasonsI was looking forward to this game. It looks great and I love puzzle games. But playing on iPhone was so frustrating. I got stuck at many points even once id worked out what to do (& confirmed it in the walkthrough) because I wasn't tapping or moving the objects in just the right way, I would have to repeat an action 20+ times just to get it so. Far to touchy. Also so much of the game isn't play but waiting and watching. It was slow and tedious. I felt my agency as a player was lost in this game. I got so frustrating playing that I'm writing this review instead of trying to finish it and ill probably delete it..Version: 2.0.1

LOVED. until...This was a solid 5 star until the arcade level. ok, the spider game to unlock hints was retro and cut, but having the *entire game* riding on how well i can play space invaders without a joystick has totally ruined it for me. (also having the game on the left and controls on the right is just poor design. have been killed wayyyy too many times because i was looking at the arcade game screen on the left and missed the button conveniently located on the opposite side of the screen.) so, yeah, if i wanted to play hours of space invaders i'd go back to the 80's and get usable controls! am going to see if my husband can beat it because i've invested so much time, but there should be an option to skip this nonsense, or play a different game, or an actual puzzle, or find a coin someone else dropped, or pretty much *anything* but this...was excited to buy your other games, but now, not so much....Version: 2.1.1

DisappointingI went into this game with high expectations after seeing so many rave reviews. i found it extremely difficult to figure out what is and isn’t clickable, making it unimaginably frustrating to use items (you have to be standing in exactly the right place and drag and drop to exactly the right place). the movement controls were extremely finicky and annoying; tapping in the same place twice wouldn’t result in my character moving in the same way both times. the puzzles weren’t very intuitive and some were way longer than others. i had to use a walkthrough multiple times just to figure out what to do with certain objects, only to realize i was meant to use them with something i didn’t think was clickable in the first place. for a puzzle game, quite a few of the “puzzles” to progress were games to beat rather than puzzles, which isn’t what i look for in these types of games. gave up 3 puzzles from the end because i didn’t download this to play an surprise shootout in the 11th hour. the hint system was also irritating for this reason; I’d rather watch an ad to see a hint than play frogger every time I’m stuck..Version: 2.4.3

Too many logic puzzlesMachinarium is a mixed bag. On the plus side it’s a beautiful game with wonderfully drawn characters. The music is hit or miss; some of it is nicely done but some of it is just random noise. The problem is the plot, such as it is, is just a device to move you from logic puzzle to logic puzzle. And there were way too many logic puzzles for this game to be enjoyable. Most are too difficult and non-intuitive. I was constantly having to go online guides to figure out what I was supposed to do next. Not an enjoyable experience. I thought I was purchasing an adventure game in the spirit of the Monkey Island series. Instead I got something that felt like math class..Version: 2.4.3

Not for everyoneI have much enjoyed all other games by Amanita Design but not this one. It’s not a game to play on your phone or even an iPad because the touch controls don’t work properly so you try to move an object or your character and you can’t so you give up on it. But later on you watch the walkthrough and you realise it was a right path of thought. It has spoiled it for me and I was very exhausted with the whole thing before I even got anywhere. It wasn’t so obvious at all what my character was supposed to do and there were no hints so I couldn’t enjoy the adventure and would just get stuck without a clue how to move on. I also found the sounds and the bad robots obscure. The scenery was to a degree depressing. But I recommend Samorost and Botanicula - those games are much more advanced and smoother to control..Version: 2.1.1

BadConnect 5 puzzle is frustrating and that ruined the game. deleted.Version: 2.1.1

Doesn't run on an iPad 1!!!!Well this is odd. I used to play this game on my old computer and it ran fine. It will not run in the first generation iPad, which I did not notice until I tried running it. Why not???? There are many games that require much more horsepower that run fine on the iPad 1. Truly disappointing. Fix this ASAP please……..Version: 1.0

Loved it but now....?This game worked perfectly on my iPad two years ago and was beautiful and a ton of fun. I just tried to play it again now and it is very buggy on the same iPad. The game will not save and every time I open it I cannot resume, but it starts at the bridge with the traffic cone hat. I load scenes, and when I reenter the game, all of the scenes are gone and again I have to start at the bridge.I got a quick response from the team, but no help since that first response. I have deleted and downloaded it again. We’ll see if it improves the situation at all..Version: 2.2.6

Clumsy, irritating interfaceMaybe this game is meant for iPad and not iPhone. On the iphone the graphics are so tiny it's impossible to distinguish which objects on the screen are actually interactive. The interface is annoying. Often I tap on objects and they don't react. But after repeated tapping they finally respond. Annoying and frustrating game..Version: 2.0.1

This app doesn’t work on an iPhoneIf you are planning to play this app on your iPhone for get it!!! Yet again today I’m into part two and the panel on the furnace has no adjustment and so I’m stuck; very disappointed.Version: 2.4.3

Buggy and can’t move on!Got to level 4, furnace room, and when you press the red button the control box won’t show. You move the cursor over where it should be and the arrows appear, but it’s just guess work of the actual position. Nice app but expensive and annoying because it won’t work. Using iPad Pro..Version: 2.2.5

Prison Puzzle ImpossibleI was really enjoying the game up until the prison safe puzzle with the green triangle. Unfortunately the “Cheat Book” is no help and basically tells you that to move on you need a to solve the puzzle. I wish there was a way to bypass the puzzle or rest it to something else like the wiki suggests but even when I step out of the room or reset the game the puzzle is the same. If a developer is reading this please help me out! I really want to continue playing this visually beautiful and plot based game!.Version: 2.4.3

Doesn’t work with iPhone touch screens. This game doesn’t work with the touch screen on IPhone. I watched the walk through and small windows are meant to open and cursor needs to be pointed to places. None of that happens on IPhone. Yet this game is meant to be compatible with iPhone??? Money back please!.Version: 2.2.5

Good ideas and design but buggyThe overall design and concept of the game are great but there have been so many bugs throughout that it is almost unplayable at times. One such place is the level with swapping the umbrella for the dog..Version: 2.4.3

Spoiled by poor UIBeautiful to look at, but exceptionally frustrating because the UI often gets stuck. The puzzles are difficult enough without having to struggle with game controls that don't function correctly. For instance, one minute I can walk down a tunnel. Then the next minute, for no apparent reason I can't and hence I'm totally stuck. Disappointing and not recommended..Version: 1.2

Very DissapointingFor what's a very cute wee game with well designed art work, the game play really let's itself down with clunky actions which aren't obvious and a real general lack of what's going on. The only real source of direction if from some cruddy old book where you are forced to play a childish 70's arcade style game every single time you want to open it. It really detracts from the game. The levels are long and boring and honestly, it's just not worth the money! I had expected far more given the price tag!.Version: 1.0

Shame. This is a brilliant game so much fun to figure out with a charming little figure and sometimes quite funny. The scenes and interaction are fantastic. It is spoilt by the fact you have to win 5 games in a row at tic tac toe with a robot. This I have found to my great disappointment is just about impossible. I have been looking forward to playing this game for some time but sadly, if I cannot get past this point, then it will have to go..Version: 2.4.3

Beautiful world in artwork and conceptI wish this game was an animated movie or short and not just a game. A robot city with thieves, an underdog hero, and a love story is wonderful. That said, as s puzzle game, I found Machinarium to be too difficult. Puzzles come in two forms: First is the set of steps you must preform as the hero. Walking around the city, collecting items and performing tasks. These are never obvious (hence a puzzle) but to the extreme. The discoverability of what's possible is frustrating; you end up touching everything in view to see what it does or doesn't do. This gets old quickly. The second form are the mini puzzle games you must complete. Zero instruction is provided and sometimes it feels like your reading the developer's mind to know what to do. I wish this game had been developed with variable difficulty in mind..Version: 2.1.1

Too many bugsI’ve heard a lot good reviews before I downloaded it to my iPad. Then I found that maybe the game itself has a unique style, but the experience of playing it is terrible. And I’m sure it’s not my device’s problem since mine is the new iPad Pro and I’ve played many other games while none of them have any issue. 1. The music and sound effects disappeared for many times and restart the game won’t even fix it 2. The whole screen got stuck when I tried to solve a puzzle and went back to normal once I stopped trying. So I have to give up and delete this game because I couldn’t move forward anymore. 3. The controls are very difficult. If you want to use some of the equipments you’ve obtained, you have to place them PRECISELY where they belong and sometimes even try several times for it to work. I still think this is a good game and I assume it might work better on PC or Mac. But please fix these bugs in this iOS version. Look forward to seeing its update..Version: 2.1.1

Looks great, but some real problemsOn the plus side of the ledger, I absolutely loved this game's graphics and found the storyline cute and engaging. Machinarium is, however, plagued by some significant problems. Game play is occasionally hampered by poor touch screen control — the pleasure derived by puzzle games lies in their ability to stimulate the mind; they shouldn’t rely on the user tapping exactly the right pixel at exactly the right millisecond, as too frequently happens in this game. More critically, gameplay can be completely blocked by any of various bugs. My own progress came to a shrieking halt about three-quarters of the way through (not an inconsiderable investment of my time) after encountering one such documented bug..Version: 2.1.1

I want to, but can't play it's cause of the controlsI am on an iPad. I love the graphics, music, artwork, and what I have seen of the story line and characters. What is so impossibly frustrating is the cursor acts like it is not calibrated. It jumps all over, clicks when it wants to, randomly. After thirty minutes and making it past the junkyard, I gave up with the bridge blue paint cone lightbulb level because I could never get the robot to do anything three gadgets. I never got the space invaders thing. I so want to like this game. But I can't get through it if the cursor acts so squirrelly. :-(.Version: 2.1.1

One. problem. There’s no way to turn off the sound!!!!!!.Version: 2.4.3

Wonderful game wrapped in unoptimized codeI first played through Machinarium on my MacBook Pro a while ago, and with regards to the wonderful art direction, puzzle design, and soundtrack nothing has changed. It is, and will always be, an enthralling piece of gaming. However, the fact that this only runs on an iPad 2 is pretty terrible. I understand that this is a small developer, and that a full code rewrite (as opposed to a straight port) isn't always economically viable, but this is a hand drawn point and click adventure game. There is a lot of high resolution art, sure, but there aren't that many sprites in play at any given time and there's still loading time between every environment. I would have absolutely no problem giving this game a 5/5 if it had no loading screens and OG iPad support. To summarize, the developers of Machinarium have created a really unique, engaging game that is limited by some light performance issues..Version: 1.0

Extremely frustratingI loved Botanicula but I hate this one. Often the controls just plain don’t work and I have to try the same thing over and over again wondering if I’ve missed something. There is also a lot of just watching, either while the robot moves from place to place or the stories that play out in the speech bubbles. Not sure I’ll keep playing this one. ETA: Appreciate a response from the developer. However the problem is mainly with controls, not the puzzles. For example, a red box switch that would not respond. Eventually it worked, but after dozens of tries. I do understand that you have to be within reach..Version: 2.4.3

Loved it, but it's beyond hardGraphics and atmospheric sounds are amazing but it is too hard, so much so you have to buy a guide app otherwise there is no way to crack it. I have mixed feelings. Tried a few times and had to give up. I refuse to follow a guide, loses the fun..Version: 2.0.1

Sorry this game quite annoying meThis game has so less clues make it very hard to know what should we do now. Any action are not precise enough, sometimes when I’m very concentrated on one mini game but if you touched the other area of your screen by accident the scene will pop out. This gets me very annoyed. Also, some games are way too hard to solve! You should balance the difficulty scale! I just feel disappointed with this game. Sorry, not my type!.Version: 2.4.3

Really nice game, but the price has increased for no reason? Why you do dis? I got this game much cheaper years ago. No work being done on it and you're after more cash for the same product? So confusing.Version: 2.1.1

You will need a walk through!Although the game is beautiful to play, it's impossible without the walkthough. I found it far too difficult and you have to click in very specific places for things to work. The mini games are great fun and some of the puzzles you should be able to figure out yourself with a bit of time. General walking around trying to figure out what to do next is tricky though. It felt like a waste of money considering I spent most of the time googling what I'm meant to do!.Version: 2.1.1

Not my Favorite by Amanita...I loved Creaks and Pilgrims, but I did not like Machinarium! The puzzles were way too difficult and hard to figure out on my own and the mini game hint system got so monotonous I found myself wanting to delete the game without even finishing! There were some parts of the puzzles that I don’t see how anyone could figure it out without the walkthrough or being one of the designers. Who knows, maybe I’m just incompetent, but Idid finish the game and then deleted it to never play again! I’m not sure I want to pay for any other Amanita games, but I will say this: the graphics and story are one of a kind and beautifully done! Just take it easy on the complexity of the challenges for those of us more casual players..Version: 2.4.3

Far far too difficultI like the graphics and etc. But I don’t know how anyone is supposed to ever finish this game without consulting a walkthrough. Impossibly difficult. By the time I got to the space invaders game I threw in the towel..Version: 2.3.4

Good game....butFrom what I have seen so of this game I think it could be great, the problem is, unresponsive keys! I push the buttons and nothing happens, so I open the cheat and do the same thing as I all ready have and after much pushing of buttons it works. I am beginning to loose the will to continue, maybe I will maybe I won’t.Version: 2.3.4

Awful controlsThis game became very frustrating very quickly, because the controls on a touch screen don't work. Could be a great game, I guess, if you enjoy trying how to touch the screen effectively so that something will happen. Don't understand all the great reviews at all..Version: 2.3.4

Seems like a good game but crashes a lotI’m still on the first screen. I have tried to get past it several times but each time I play I do something that means I can’t interact with anything. So have to restart and go back to the beginning..Version: 2.2.4

Frustrating controls on ipadI have never managed to get very far with this game as the controls are so awful to work with. It takes so long to manoeuvre anything that invariably the window of opportunity closes and once I’ve tried several times I end up giving up, as this happens so frequently. It looks like it could be a fun game though..Version: 2.4.3

Really Creative......But, the iPad Touch GUI is not working properly. Arrows should be appearing for game directions and that isn’t happening, mouse cursor settings are no better. I’m using the new 12.7 iPad Pro with the newest iOS. It worked far better on my old iPad2 with an outdated iOS. Maybe time to put some more work in, Developer..Version: 2.3.4

Why doesn't this support multitasking? It is quit difficult to solve puzzle. so, i i played mini hint game, and then i captured the hint pics. whenever i saw the photo by ruining photo app, this game restarted. i want this game to resume after viewing photos..Version: 1.2

No idea what to do…deletedDoes not explain anything about what you’re supposed to do. Got frustrated and deleted it..Version: 2.3.4

Buggy. Stuck and can't go onI've tried everything and compared to walkthroughs but I've got a glitch in the boiler room and cannot make him interact with the control panel. I can open it, but can't get to use it, he just swings his arm and nothing happens. Really disappointed..Version: 2.2.6

Hmmm.3 stars for a beautiful game, that’s obviously had a lot of time spent on its creation. It’s a joy to look at. Maybe that’s the only reason I downloaded it. However, I find the game very tedious to play. I like point and click adventures, and I enjoy a challenge, but I just can’t work up the motivation to endure this game. I will keep it installed on my phone, but I’m sure it’ll be very infrequent occasions where I’ll load it and have a bash. I think it’s made worse by the small screen on my phone (12 Pro Max). Even this screen isn’t big enough to see much detail, when looking for those tiny objects to pick up. Most are found completely by accident. Because of that, I have to delete 2 stars. I know, most of you will rate it 5 stars, and I completely understand your love for this game. I’m afraid I don’t see the game from that angle. If I buy another iPad, maybe it’ll change my mind. But on a phone… no..Version: 2.4.3

Exceptional graphics. Tedious gameLooks wonderful but suffers from the simple fact that there is no way through the game without access to clues, and the clues can only be accessed by playing, and winning, an extremely boring, space-invader type game. Over and over again. Boring. And a shame..Version: 2.4.3

Can’t use on an IPadThis game would be great but the controls don’t work for an Ipad. I couldn’t understand what I was doing wrong until I watched the walk through and saw I was doing it right but the controls don’t allow you to pick things up or drop items like as if you were playing on a pc. Don’t buy if your using an Ipad, your money will be wasted..Version: 2.4.3

Beautiful game, crap controls on IPhoneSome puzzles are close to impossible to do with the iPhone controls..Version: 2.1.1

IrritatingBeautiful to look at but even after unlocking the walkthroughs I found it took multiple attempts to get the solution to work. In the end I gave up on this game which is annoying as I really enjoyed Botanicula..Version: 2.1.1

Too many elements are a game not an adventure game.I love adventure games. I’m willing to look around, try things, etc, all the live long day. I don’t like arcade or platform games. I’m not good at them. I find them incredibly stressful. This has at least two non-puzzle games that you have to pass in order to complete the game, and I didn’t like. I found aspects of the interface awkward, and the lack of dialogue means that there aren’t really clues for some things. Plus, I played it with the sound off and then discovered a puzzle at the end was entirely audio based. Nice enough game, but I saw it on a list where it came #2 after ‘The Room’, and let’s just say, if it’s a second place, it’s a very distant 2nd..Version: 2.4.3

Faulty appThe app description states it works on the regular iPhone 6 but it does not. Do not buy it until it is sorted out : ( ..Version: 2.0.1

Forced Space Invaders Ruins ItThe game is amazing up to the near-end when you are forced to play space invaders to move to the next step. I am not a fan of nor am I skilled enough at reflex games hence the entire reason I like puzzle games. Yes, I realize it’s a dumbed down version of space invaders but nonetheless I was not able to progress past this exceedingly annoying part that, imo, is only there to pad the time you play and it’s BORING. Ended up uninstalling as I could not get past this requirement. Way to completely ruin and otherwise incredible game. Would have been 5 stars if not for this idiotic part that does not at all fit the rest of the game. Very disappointing..Version: 2.4.3

Not worth the price tag!The graphics are amazing and I like the feel of the game. But it is way too complicated in some parts, not responsive most of the time so you miss many of the key items you need to solve the puzzle, there is barely any direction or help for when things get tough and the music is annoying as hell! Otherwise if you enjoy a really challenging quest and don't mind frustratingly fiddling around for ages you will like this game. It is definitely not for everyone and although it's interesting, if you are looking for an average adventure game to pass the time this definitely is not for you. Overall, in my opinion I feel the game is not worth the $5.49 and is unnecessarily complicated in some parts to be an enjoyable play..Version: 1.2

Great..except for...Great idea and game except I get the inventory items to go where they are to be used. I have time, know where and how to use, but can’t get them to go there. For instance, the key won’t go into the slot: The arrow says it goes there, it has been positioned all around it at various times, but it flies back up to inventory. Only one example, but that type of thing has happened repeatedly in this game. Too frustrating to keep it up. Would be nice to just go when the solution has been found. After several days, just deleted in the thing. Too bad..Version: 2.3.4

Amazing graphics, fun game, frustrating controlsI adore the graphics, story and gameplay of this game but like a few others am playing on an iPhone and find the controls frustrating. I got a few good levels in but then lost progress and had to start again, which wouldn't be a big deal if the controls worked properly... even though the second time around I knew what the correct moves were, I had to tap or drag things a bunch of times (e.g. Dyeing the hat blue) before they actually worked. Think I will give up for the time being..Version: 2.1.1

Difficult controls, gameplay isn’t intuitiveTheir are several places where the controls of the game are very specific in a not intuitive way- you must stand in position A, not position B to get an item to work when neither position is obviously more applicable. I’m currently stuck trying to get the elevator to go up BC the lever action area is under the full screen toggle bar on modern iPhones. This is just lazy programming. Okay but frustrating puzzle game overall..Version: 2.4.3

Not convinced this is an iPad gameLovely graphics, well thought out puzzles, but I suspect the rapturous applause I’m seeing is from people who have used other platforms. Worst on this one is the lack of any cue for what to do. The cursor is dumb. Is it really part of the gameplay to make the player podge about at the screen in the off chance something will happen when the robot is a given height? Even after reading a walkthrough so I understand what I’m expected to do I don’t think I can cajole this interface to let me play. Using the different cursor settings gives me a choice of a clunky interface or a - literally - pointless one. I’ll try it on a PC.Version: 2.4.3

Great game ruined by poor interfaceControls are difficult and often only work 2 or 3 times after you try the exact same manoeuvre it's a shame as otherwise it would have been 5star.Version: 2.1.0

Super frustrating controlThe game is not complicated to figure out but to get the robot to do the thing it is supposed to do is frustratingly difficult. The unresponsive game play makes the experience very unenjoyable.Version: 2.4.3

Support iPad 1 for crying out loud!!!I unfortunately purchased this game before it was affectively communicated to masses that this game would not work on original iPad. If Epic can get 'Infinity Blade' to work on iPad, there's no reason why Amanita can spend time getting Machinarium to work. It's a really slap to the face to a fan like myself who has purchased 3 copies of this game on different platforms in a show of support. Still a year later and no update. That's fine, I know where I stand with this company and I will happily spend my money else where..Version: 1.2

Not for Phone screensThis was a great game for PC years ago. But the years have not been kind to it when it comes to using your phone. It may be ok on a tablet but forget it if only have a phone. The controls are far to hit and miss to make the game play rewarding, timed sequences are tricky to complete and certain actions simply don’t work if you have to go back and try again. Shame..Version: 2.3.4

TediumThis game has beautiful graphics but is just so tedious it's not enjoyable. Half the time you can't figure out a task it's because you had the right idea but your click/tap didn't work, the other half of the time it's because the tasks are ridiculously illogical. Someone has a blocked didgeridoo.... Well obviously you require a mechanical cat to unblock it....so stupid. Some of these puzzles are so stupid the game has its own inbuilt walkthrough... but you can't just access it, oh no.... When you are frustrated with some idiotic puzzle, you will have to play some tedious, crappy little mini game to look at the walkthrough, only to find, half the time, it is no help at all.... There are mini-puzzles and games which are hard and enjoyable, but the main tasks for progressing the story are fairly ridiculous, get ready to just randomly click everything and apply every item in your inventory to everything on the screen..... So tedious.... At no point did I get much enjoyment from this... I never thought "oh wow, that was really clever" I just thought "That was so tedious and stupid...are these developers just trying to annoy people?" Great graphics, terrible game design.Version: 2.0.3

FrustratingI’ve played all the Room games and Gorogoa without difficulty. Can’t understand this game. Puzzles are unintuitive. Controls on my iPad Pro are poor. Something has to be held on exactly the right spot but repeated attempts to do so didn’t work until the third or fourth attempt. Admittedly others have rated this game highly and the artwork is beautiful. Maybe it’s just me..Version: 2.4.3

Worst game everI've completed many games like this (the room series, house of did Vinci, cube series, forever lost, etc). For the price I was expecting something of similar value..don't waste your money. It's difficult to navigate, tedious and frustrating. The controls are touchy and it ruins the game. I deleted it well before the end. I like the graphics and sounds so it gets one star for that. Total waste of money..Version: 2.4.3

Poor interfaceNo help, no instructions, no clues! Gotta go to website forum to figure out whats going on. Simply...this is the game... 1) You get a scene (with your robot) with great graphic detail. So much detail, you have no idea what your supposed to do. 2) The hint button gives you the desired final solution, but does not mention the 10-20 steps involved to solve the puzzle. 3) As you still have no idea what to do, you have to use the help button. 4) In help, get thru the 2D maze by avoiding or killing spiders....you are then shown the 10-20 steps involved to solve the puzzle. 5) Go back in game and complete all the steps. 6) Puzzle completed, move on to the next scene. 7) Go to step 1, and repeat. Your not playing...your just following instructions..Version: 1.0

Trial and errorI loved Samorost 3 and Chuchel, and while this one has the same amazing art and world building, the puzzles are rather tedious and unintuitive. I decided to quit at the minecart and claw puzzle where I have to keep redoing the same action sequence every time I try something that doesn’t work. Sometimes I don’t even know to click something because there are no hotspots. Sure there are hints, but that defeats the purpose. I think the designers learned from their mistakes and made their later games better....Version: 2.4.3

Couldn’t wait for the endI love a good point n click adventure-and this is nothing like a good point n click adventure... Apart from the cutesy well-drawn graphics I struggle to find anything redeeming about this game-the puzzles are beyond dull and mostly consist of moving things from one place to another. There was nothing intuitive about the gameplay and picking up random objects with no idea of their functionality was just bizarre. The touchscreen controls do not work properly on an iPhone and you’ll find yourself having already tried the correct solution but because you touched one nanometer away it didn’t register-leading to hours of frustration trying to find an alternative solution when you were right in the first place. A big thing about many point n clicks is the character development and interaction, but because there is zero dialogue in this game this whole aspect is non-existent. I ended up using a walkthrough just to hasten the end of this and lower my blood pressure..Version: 2.4.3

SERIOUS GLITCHBought and Downloaded for full price on my fully functioning iPad 2, waited quite a while for it to install clicked on it, and up came this black screen! The developer logo flashed up briefly, before the black screen returned. Then a full screen picture comes up, the same as the first photo shown above, but without the writing. this image stays frozen on the screen for an oddly long amount of time. at this point, it does nothing, I have tried clicking it dragging zooming, but it stays frozen. After a while, the black screen of death flashes up again briefly, before the program freaks out and shuts itself down, returning to my home screen. it does not appear in settings. On returning to app page in store, it says if game doesn't work directly after installation, reset your iPad, it's not our fault! Well, ive personally spent ages refining my settings for each app and most certainly do not want to reset! frankly, I feel very ripped off as this app is one of the most expensive I've bought. I have no problem if I buy an expensive app and it turns out to be awful, but if IT NEVER WORKS then I feel that is unacceptable. Very very very disappointed..Version: 1.0

Progress will NOT saveI love the gameplay but however IT WILL NOT SAVE MY PROGRESS! I have replayed puzzles over and over and saved it but then I try to play later and it puts me back and I’m forced to attempt the hard puzzles again. I finally give up after reattempting to save and then having to start over. I paid for this game yet I can’t play it! Very disappointed. I have massive storage on my phone It will show it saved in the slot but then later the slot will be empty again.Version: 2.4.3

How??I am stuck at the very beginning where the robot wants his arms and legs and he finds the mouse and they're telling me about the menu and stuff.. So what's the point of the game and what do I do?? Someone help me please!!.Version: 1.2

Poor game controls...Fantastic game, but terrible tactile controls on iOS/iPadOS. Many scenes of the game are not playable because of controls do not work properly! Many scenes must played several times because of that issue. Very desappointed and very frustrating. I am stuck in the middle of the game and I can no longer move forward!.Version: 2.4.3

Couldn’t get pass at tic tac toeReally shouldn’t put something too random in an escape puzzle game. Wish the AI level can be lowered when failing over a number of times. A waste of time..Version: 2.4.3

Love itI love this game. Can't get past the xo game. Been trying for over a year. Sadly deleting it from my iPad I guess..Version: 2.1.1
