✓ Counting down the days!I was counting down the days until this one came out. I was slightly disappointed with edo towns because I didn't like the theme, and building was too complicated. This is just like edo towns, but with a few minor additions and lots of changes. I wish they had come out with something completely different like cruise story, but I love all of the games anyway. Dont get me wrong as it is a fantastic and fun game but come on Kairosoft! You can make great games but we need something extravegant. ✓ Surprising Depth, ComplexityThis is probably the most complex Kairosoft title released on iPhone yet -- not in that it's difficult to play, but rather in that there are more layers of things going on at once, and it's more difficult to unlock all the special characters and other goodies. On the surface, the gameplay appears to be similar to the recently-released Oedo Town, but Venture Town requires more finesse and therefore would seem to also have more retail value. In an environment packed with freemium games that make players wait for energy to refill or constantly pester them to make in-game purchases with real cash, Kairosoft titles are a welcome change -- pay your coins up front and play offline by yourself for as long as you want. ✓ Nice Game But The Gameplay Is Getting StaleI love basically all Kairosoft games and get them as soon as I have the time and money, and this one is no exception. But the idea and management is almost exactly like Edo Towns, and even Pocket Academy and Hot Springs Story also have the same building simulation style. I liked Video Game Story and MegaMall Story the best because they were completely unique ideas I never thought of before. My only suggestion to make your games better is to create more unique ideas of gameplay instead of just changing the theme of the gameplay. ✓ Fun titleI think people who are saying it's identical to Edo Towns may not have played it very much. The concept behind the two is very similar, but it's not merely the different theme that sets them apart. It may be fitting to see it as a sequel to Edo, set in modern times, but with many new features. Fun things to look forward to: - Pets! Townsfolk with high appeal can buy pets at the pet store. Different pets will give their owners bonus stats, and encourage them to spend time at the park. - Development events. Spend research points to hold events in your town, giving temporary bonuses, such as increase to movement range. - Many different careers! Townsfolk discover new careers based on business near their office. Once a career is discovered, anyone in your town can try for it, provided you'll sponsor the attempt. I haven't been playing it terribly long, and while I see the similarity in style to Edo Towns, I was very quickly drawn in by the new things that make it all the more fun!.Version: 1.0.0

✓ AddictiveI'm a mega fan of kairosoft games and this game is just as great and addicting as the others I've played. The only thing I hate is the money aspect, even if I spend nothing my money will disappear within minutes. Trees and roads cost too much and with no other sources of income other than the small spending of your people and the money making events from time to time it is very hard to expand your town and stay above negative numbers. ✓ Good worksAfter finishing first map, I think the game itself is an improved version of eh do town. Lots of new features but basically same mechanics. I do hate the change of combo range tho. Used to be u can have different buildings making combo one box away from each other. Now it seems that it had to be strictly beside each other. Overall, lots of good improvements and changes, could use more money from government tho, the Rent percentage change is awesome but government bonus yearly is too low compare to the high cost of research fees the high tier building requires. ✓ So addicting!I love Kairosoft's games, and this one is definitely one of the best ones yet. However, I would love to see some improvements like bridges, being able to move buildings, edit the terrain (add/remove water and mountains etc.), and some way to give people more incentive to move into your town. I find it's pretty slow getting new citizens, and it hinders your cities growth speed..Version: 1.0.0

✓ Challenge...This is actually not as easy i thought it would have been. i am always in debt at the end of the year until i get rent, and it's more harder to get the netizens to go to the stores.
