Knee Pro III for iPad for Negative User Reviews

Limited AppVery limited in uses, does not come close to the quality that Visible Body offers..Version: 3.8.1

No updates for > yearThis app and its series seems to have been abandoned by 3D4. They seem to be heading towards subscriptions model..Version: 3.8.1

UselessJust crashes when I open it. Worked fine before. Not happy. Sort it out or refund me. Totally unacceptable..Version: 3.8.3

Good, butNeeds retina display support.Version: 3.1

Good, but needs improvementIt isn't a true 3D app as the images are constrained in rotation. I would have like to have seen the ability to rotate in multiple planes at once. It also seems impossible to directly control the speed of rotation. The detail for what is there is good, and should certainly help A&P students. I originally thought that this would have multiple slices like an MRI, but it is limited to just a few points on the knee. Whether what I expected is too much is difficult to gauge, but future releases should be true 3D, and the ability to designate individual structures to view would be great..Version: 3.2

MistakesThe app itself is very well put together but within 10 minutes of reviewing, I’ve already noticed mistakes in the labels. The lateral epicondyle of the femur is labeled as medial. Additionally, in the cementless knee arthroplasty video, the text says there is fibular plating (twice) which is in no way accurate. These types of mistakes are unacceptable and would leave a beginner trying to learn very confused. A simple review by the app creators is very necessary especially since it costs $8..Version: 3.8.3
