✓ Missing a countryHow sad that this app is politicized. Palestine is non existent. Two small areas within Israel are ghosted. Can’t even bring yourselves to acknowledge Palestine? Brain wash the masses by pretending the country doesn’t exist. This is supposed to be an educational app, not an app with a political agenda..Version: 6.6.8
✓ It costs for minimum accessThey allow you to use the app and most of its features for a time period, then suddenly take away the state you were playing with and lock it behind a fee. Fun for a while but I would recommend other apps.Version: 6.0.5
✓ Pretty goodWould be nice if it would divide all of Africa into subsections of 10-15 countries so you can learn them In chunks. It does give you North Africa--why not do the whole continent that way? Similarly, the Caribbean should be its own thing, and all the smaller nations of Oceania. It doesn't have the 20 regions of Italy, but it has all 100 provinces. Yikes! Was good for Europe and Asia. But rather expensive..Version: 6.7.0
✓ Perfect for memorizing until...This app is so good if you want to learn geography fast and quiz yourself. I experienced no ads even! But after a couple of days it kicks you out of so many quizzes and asks you to pay a lot of money 😔. This app was easily 5 stars if it wasn’t so expensive or if you didn’t even have to pay!.Version: 5.3.11
✓ Was Fun…Was giving it a look-in when I had a spare 5-10 minutes waiting for a friend and such, but today’s update gives me the splash screen when I try to open it before it immediately closes/crashes back to ‘desktop’. It was fun but I don’t subscribe to apps I only use a couple of times a day for a few minutes at most, and not everyday at that. So maybe just as well? I won’t delete the non-full (Demo? Unfinished?) version and will give it a go after the next update to see if it works unless it’s a trial and has expired? In which case it can go, otherwise I’ll re-rate it after further use if it keeps going. Shame though..Version: 6.6.4
✓ Too many adsOkay, I am changing my rating to 3 stars from 2. There is a way to purchase the app without ads which I have now done. This should be more clear however because it seems that a lot of reviewers are unaware that they have this option. The capitals and buildings challenges are nearly impossible to play because there are sometimes 2 places in the world with the same name. Also, the placement must be very precise, so if you tap the map just a few miles off from the actual location, you won't receive full points. This can be really tricky on a small map on an iPhone. My last complaint is the scoring. It's not clear which countries get you more points or why. For example, correctly placing Mauritania is worth 22,000 points, but North Korea is worth 26,000. Why? I feel like Mauritania is a much more difficult country to place, but maybe that's just me. Please explain scoring. All in all, it's a great app for learning geography and certainly worth $.99 to get rid of the ads. It needs a little work and if the developers are willing to make a few minor tweaks it has the potential to be a 5 star app..Version: 2.7

✓ Excluded countries ridiculousBought this for my kids to learn capitals and geographic facts. No Australasian countries included at all and the ONLY countries excluded as well. The largest and most ecologically unique countries on earth deemed unimportant. No Australia, no New Zealand or Papua New Guinea. ✓ Decent learning aidI like that the app offers country specific categories like cantons/states/cites. It is still a bit expensive for what it provides though. I wish there were some categories just about rivers/bodies of water/mountain ranges etc. Also, in pin mode, about every 5-8 turns or so, it will select a pin on an entirely different part of the screen than where was actually touched which is a bit annoying..Version: 5.3.6
✓ Disappointing changeThis was one of my favourite and most used apps until the latest update when almost all challenges became locked. I would like to support the developer of this application, but do not believe a subscription based revenue model is appropriate for this app (a one time fee of ~$10 would be much preferred). ✓ Ridiculous priceBefore the last update, there were plenty of categories to play without having to pay anything. Now, there are only 10 out of about 60 categories that are free (most of which aren't even about geography but landmarks and such), and you have to buy a subscription or pay $120 to unlock the rest. So I have some records in certain categories from before the update, yet I can't even play the category anymore. That's absolutely insane. ✓ Poor quality game and incorrect mapThe game is the worst of all map games I’ve played, hard to navigate, no options to learn by region. Most importantly, the map is incorrect by UN recognition: it shows Morocco as including most of Western Sahara, and French Guiana was labelled France! Both are offensive to the extreme.
