✓ JohnThe latest version is not as friendly as the previous version. Every time a select a web address it comes up with the Norton search screen. On the previous version there was a little icon at the bottom of the screen where you easily switch between different views. This is no longer available In the current version once I selected a web to sign on and want to get the password I have to press the back button and then select the web site again so I have two screen open for the same site. Why do some sites log on automatically but others do no and I have to enter the details even though they are both set to automatically log on.Version: 8.5.0

But once I signed up and started using all the features of Life Lock by Norton I could not be happier. It stopped people from pulling my credit report, protected my computer phone and laptop from viruses. I would get alerts when a auto draft from one of my band accounts that I did not make. I called the bank and stopped it before the funds where pulled from my account. If you are like me and paying for viruses protection for your company why not get the one that will protect your finances for it’s the same price. It’s easy enough to enter now passwords but having to copy existing passwords from another safe app (on another phone) to this one manually is tedious and time consuming. Scanning open records with the camera and using recognition to copy to relevant fields in new password entries would make it a 5 star app and a star in its field. ✓ URL/Username checking issueI love my Norton Password Manager (and have relied on Norton products since the earliest IBM PCs) but I’ve encountered an issue… I happen to be a software consultant and have multiple clients with software in the Cloud hosted by the vendor. The web address for each starts out the same and then has a / followed by the client name and environment (PROD, TEST, TRAIN), each of which may have different data. ALL of them use my work email address as my login. But when I try to save another of these various instances with a different password, I get told that I already have an entry at that address for that login. So I think that it may only be looking at the first portion of the URL, which doesn’t work for me. For most people, this won’t be an issue, but unless I use the same password (and have only one Norton entry), then I have problems..Version: 8.0.0

✓ Very competent password managerMoved to Norton after my previous password manager had a data breach. Have been using for several months and it has generally been very good. One issue I have encountered. A couple of times NPM has insisted on full signin credential ie name and Norton account password rather than just biometric (note it is not asking for the NPM vault password which I can remember) The password for NPM is within the NPM and I cannot access the NPM because the password for my Norton Account is within the NPM - a catch 22 situation. Thankfully I still had access to NPM on my mobile phone in order obtain the Norton Account password, if I did not have my phone it would have been a problem..Version: 8.5.0

As that threat has grown and perpetuated to an exhausting level through the computer on line sales sites of everyone; my protection software increased to met my protection needs with 4 additional software packages. But there’s a problem because as soon as I open the Firefox app on my Pc it asks to sign in to password manager, no idea what app or anything. So deleted it, I decide when I open password app nobody else!Thanks for the response, I have build 1903 of Windows 10 home and I found in the services that one was of group policy I am going to use group policy finder to disable it. And then I found out how easy it was for people to get my passwords when I left my Google account logged in somewhere. So I started using keychain on MAC a bit more but kept it synced with Norton because I knew two is better than one and I would not always have access to MAC. Now I sorry keep Norton up to date (my MAC was stolen) and began to trust Norton in holding other confidential information such as bank card numbers, addresses, etc. it’s super easy to link w your mobile device; using biometrics to login. I also enjoy that I can have my mobile device not only notified of my vault being logged into but also be the device which approve/reject prompts go to, giving me peace of mind that no one is getting into my account unless I have them to opportunity..Version: 8.6.4

The main reason I used this app though is because I didn't need to put in a URL. Just wanted a place to save passwords. Why'd they have to change it to a requirement.. Guess I'm off to look for a new app. Latest- Kept this app on my phone so I could see the passwords i had previously put in and due to lack of time was slow to move over to other app. Hoping they changed the URL issue I checked back quite a while later to find out that happily the URL wasn’t required anymore. ✓ Useful PWM but w/potential for moreI started using Norton to manage my passwords across both my phone and computer. It does a good job of managing my passwords and auto populating logins. Once I was able to migrate all of my passwords to the vault, it has been insanely easy to use for the most part. I say for the most part because there is definitely still some room for improvement. First off, if you already have login for let’s say, Chase, but you create it yourself instead of going straight from the Chase app, Norton won’t automatically pick your existing account up and will prompt you to create a new login. Additionally, I originally had all of my logins within Apple Passwords. The process of moving them all from my Apple setting to Norton took a bit of time. If they had an auto migration feature from other sources, that would save plenty of time..Version: 8.7.0

✓ TomI've used identity safe as part of Norton Internet Security on a p.c. for a number of years and find it very helpful when visiting websites where a login is needed. It keeps login information secure and saves hunting around for usernames and passwords which have a habit of being forgotten and lost. I would strongly recommend this app as a means of keeping track of the ever increasing amount of personal and sensitive information needed to effectively use the internet. Two years since my review above and I'm still very pleased with the way identity safe performs on my iPhone. What I would like Symantec to consider is bringing the app platform to a Windows pc where identity safe works well enough but not as predictably or as slickly as it does on a mobile device. "The pass word won't paste" - that is a function of some websites, for security they block a direct paste to the password field so you have to jump through hoops to get it pasted. I fail to see how is this an app issue. 2. "Locked myself out of the vault" - what are the specific circumstances? Are you attempting to reopen from the same account and the same credentials? At present you need to open the app and then choose from the different categories you want to browse before being able to search. You aren’t limited to one device, I have it on both my phone and computer. You aren’t limited to saving only a few passwords. It works well in place of Apple password. They alerted me when suspicious activity had occurred on my Equifax credit report and assisted me in discussions with the bank trying to figure out the situation. As far as Norton goes, the service is pretty good. Password manager is extremely convenient with generating complex passwords and storing them all securely. The VPN is also very useful to when trying to browse and not be tracked. Only complaint I have is with their computer software. It constantly tries to sell you on upgrading your service. It’s not a dealbreaker for me and I mostly just ignore it, but it would be nice if those offers stopped being suggested after you tell it you’re not interested. Chat support told me it was a known mobile app issue and that it should be resolved in 24-48 hours. When it was still not working more than 72 hours later Chat support now tells me to contact the Norton online forum because they don’t deal with apple products. This is the Chat support the app itself takes you to. I asked for the phone instead which told me to try a delete and reinstall. This eventually worked but the app fought against signing in at first. Kept rejecting my VIP request approval. But finally let me finish signing in and app seems to be working fine again. Now the vault just sends me a notification on my phone to approve my pc login, and that notification opens with my face/fingerprint etc. on my phone it comes up to auto fill just like the iPhone keychain. So now I have very complex PWs. The only problem is exporting your vault once in a while to save. It just puts the export in a square on the screen and you have to copy and paste all the text manually into word. It would be VERY helpful to be able to download it and import to excel as a delimited file. There is no save feature when you export. Still glad I started using it!.Version: 8.6.3

✓ Great app (finally) but awful supportI spent some time adding in all my passwords in this mostly simple to use app. I then realized that Touch ID would not be a great option in my country where you could easily be forced physically into pushing the Touch ID button if your phone was violently stolen - which happens. It's not evident how one switches off Touch ID in the app - there is no switch for this. So I did live chat with Norton. The person was clueless- didn't know the answer. And he said that Norton no longer support the App as of June 2017 - true/untrue? A dismal and useless support service. I then spent hours looking at alternative apps with the prospect of having to rewrite all my passwords. Then I finally figured out that if I disable the PIN it also disables the Touch ID - which is fine but not at all properly labeled in the App. The support was just lousy and I wish I could bill the support agent for wasting hours of my time looking for an alternative when, if he had known his product would have taken 10 seconds to give a proper answer..Version: 8.6.3

✓ Great free password safeWe have been using this password manager for years and have always found it very convenient. I haven’t really used anything else - I guess my only complaint is that I’d you want to use this password manager’s password generator feature you have to be using the in- app browser. I haven’t really seen an intuitive way to use the password generator from another browser or app when you are creating a password and the copy password feature only works with the Norton in- app browser. I find it too easy to reach the maximum number of windows open on the browser so you have to make sure you keep them all closed. All this being said, this product is free and it suits my needs..Version: 7.5.2
✓ Fantastic App! Use it daily w/ no issuesI use this app multiple times a day with no issues. I’m surprised when I read others reviews because I’ve not experienced any of the issues they describe. In fact, this app has helped my family become more secure with our logins. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because I wished the app offered a reminder to save new login information without having to sign out of where I was. Example: I just set up a Cavna account and Cavna kept me logged in. I almost forgot to log my login information in the vault otherwise I would have lost the password and would have had to reset it. The only time I get the question if I want to save to the vault is when I’m logging in for the first time, not when it’s being set up. Other than this issue, it is nearly perfect app that I find easy to use everyday and again has truly helped me become safer on the internet..Version: 8.6.1
✓ The mobile verification is a winnerThis app does what it says, and being included in the Norton 360 suite, it’s sufficient as opposed to other password apps which require additional costly subscription. Norton still has work to do on the interface however. Combined with the web browser extensions, you get an unlock request sent to your mobile every time you open the browser, and that’s a really handy tool. It looks for repeated passwords and recommends changing to unique ones, in fact helps you generate super secure password which even you can’t memorise. I’m not sure if this will pose problems down the line though..Version: 7.4.2
✓ Great AppThis app has saved me so many times when I’ve forgotten passwords, easy to access and use. Helps with updating old passwords. Only complaint is speed of the app but with so much data to collect etc. not surprised it takes abit. But that’s literally a small complaint because I’m impatient.Version: 8.0.1
