GUI is terrible. But it reliably syncs to meterI have a hobby of monitoring glucose and other risk factors. And after the Roche app became useless I discovered this one. It syncs reliably and that part is great. However- it has to be the ugliest graphic interface I’ve ever seen. Colors are lime green on white, and you can’t change that. People with diabetes often have eye issues and non-contrasting colors are awful for their use. And the silly illustrations must be somewhat interesting to someone under 10 years old, but other than that they’re annoying, confusing and distracting. It greatly reduces the value of what is otherwise a very reliable engine under the hood. If the developer would at least allow users to change the colors on the “skin” that would be a first good step. And again, the weird round circles and giggling monster sounds are really not adding value to most of the target audience and I wish they’d consider remodeling that..Version: 3.83.54

Frustrating data problemsThis app loses pairing occasionally also latest updates won’t work if using LibreLink and you lose all yes all your data when you try to pair device again in fact they are so proud of this feature they advise you to delete saved data to get pairing working again very annoyed and angry at the cavalier way they save or don’t save your data which is really the number one priority of my sugar or apparently not just lost a months worth so p155ed at this crappy app will be looking at alternatives or back to excel spreadsheets.Version: 3.83.46

Monster sounds- really?I have been using AccuChek Guide meter for a long time. I recently learned that they are discontinuing the app and said to use this. So, reluctantly I am. I had a previous account form trying this app before and rejecting it. I’m not a fan. As a diabetic with retinopathy the color scheme is awful. Monster sounds- really? What am I, in third grade? (I know i can turn off the sounds…) This app is for use by adult diabetics and often with vision issues. Those should be the main concerns, not monster themes and sounds. I also use SugarMate. It’s the best app, ESP for those who use a CGM. If it works sync with a meter I’d have no need of this app. Update: I’m still not a huge fan but I’m getting used to this app. I wish the color theme and font size could be changed to be more easily readable. Have diabetic retinopathy and thus some color blindness which makes the small font and light green scheme hard to read. Also flexibility to add other meds..Version: 3.83.50

Great way to keep track. Easier then keeping a diaryIts a good app bit would like the ability to be able to creat my own tags and to have a field to put in my meal rather then justin the notes so that i can track what spikes me easier. Trouble with the bluetooth, it just stopped connecting and now i cant reconnect at all. Keep getting an error. Both on my phone and my ipad..Version: 3.92.0

My tablet gives you a 5 starsI do really love your app but I wish you could make it zero in on the phones. Even with my glasses on I can barely read the "food types" that go with the little pictures when recording information. Now for what I love… it’s great that my glucometer syncs with the app so I don’t have to remember numbers. I love the photo options for food. I’ve used it for nearly a week and I really like it..Version: 3.83.41

Lots of problemsApp won’t work with my I phone.Version: 3.91.1

Limited device connectivityLove the app and graphics however it has very limited device connectivity. Any chance of adding other devices like Caresens, Glucosense etc.Version: 3.80.1

Such a faffKind of wish I could go back to my accu check aviva smart meter right now, this thing wastes so much time with always having to manually type in my levels (because even if I tap the notification as soon as it appears I always end up having to delete that entry and start from the beginning for one reason or another) and entering insulin ratios is also so much longer to do since it’s in individual half hour timeblocks instead of being able to set up timeblocks for each meal time and change everything much faster. Overall it works fine but it’s a huge downgrade from the aviva due to all the messing around you have to do with it.Version: 3.83.50

MySugar AppHad this app but functions were basic. Was initially connected to a Accu check meter but when I updated my meter to a CareSensN the app would not connect to it even though it was showing in the list of available devices, it would continually revert back to the Accu Check meter. Daily tests had to be uploaded manually so had to delete app in end..Version: 3.83.39

Download problemsMy iPhone occasionally does not connect to the Guide and I have to open the app and go through many key strokes to restart the down load. This shouldn’t be too hard to fix.Version: 3.83.66

MySugarI find the in app comments a mixture of patronising nonsense and hollow criticism - if you can't put positive helpful and specific output in the app then please do not bother. The continued lack of ability to generate an H1bc figure is really frustrating. I am afraid the only reason I use this app is to record my bloods but I have another bloody app that does that already! I can't export my data that I have generated in your app without paying £20 for the privilege and yet you will have sold my data to someone else for a profit. The medical apps and Apple should be obliged to integrate together then you would really start to benefit us all and justify to combined cost of all your independent costs. I am surrounded by the most amazing technology and yet still limited by petty financial taxes that limit what I have access to. Change your pricing structure and improve your software please..Version: 3.65.0

Decent app but could be betterLove everything about it, helps keep track of your numbers. Improvements: -Show reminders when you turn it on. At the moment you can slide it to remind you but doesn’t show if you’ve done it once it’s saved. Sometimes I forget if I’ve done it or not and can’t check. -When setting high and low limits, allow it to be set to .1 instead of certain numbers only. In different countries and hospitals everyone has a different range limit..Version: 3.78.1

Ok app, but some of the best features are turned off. It’s a good app, easy to use and read the trends. Just disappointed the insulin calculator isn’t available... there are more regions in the world than just Europe/UK and the US. Just because a feature isn’t approved in the US doesn’t mean that’s the rules for rest of the world..Version: 3.79.0

Written by and for K-Pop fansAfter using the Accu-check and Connect app on my PC for over 10 years, Roche decided to end support for this excellent database program at the end of 2022. They had just one suggestion, this app? Couldn’t they have done better? This program was written by and their target audience is a 15 year old Korean K-Pop loving teenager. This is the result of pandering to the lowest common denominator. The connect problem included other parameters of health, such as exercise, blood pressure, illness and many other factors of overall health; not just an obsession with blood sugar levels. I was also able to call up trend, daily and weekly reports for my doctor to assist him with ongoing issues. The MySugr (can’t even spell the words right) doesn’t allow me this flexibility. Shame on you Roche for leading us astray. The worst part of this is that now I am forced to use this app on my phone, not my 22” monitor, requiring glasses, just to read all the fine print. Roche, you have failed me and others. What were you thinking when you suggested this app for us to use?.Version: 3.83.47

It badWorks great. Syncs to my phone perfectly. I only wish it have your A1C estimate a little sooner like most other apps..Version: 3.88.0

Keeps dropping out.The app works really well and is simple to use. When it connects. The Bluetooth connection is quite picky and drops out regularly. Switching between the app and your phones Bluetooth settings to get a connection gets tiresome.. The on some occasions you have a connection only for the meter unable to send any data, then a week later it uploads all data in one hit..Version: 3.83.61

Using the app feed-backSince I have installed the app on my phone , I have found that the monitoring factor helps tracking. 1. I am able to manage my sugar count , easy to record. 2.provides support information during a Dr’s Appt. Able to pull up data to share. 3.Sound indicators are an interesting when I input data low or normal. 4.Avoids writing down data ,quick and convient. 5.Recommending to colleauge's I work with as a way of manage their sugars. 6.My Goal to learn how to use all aspects of the application. I am a member of Weight Watchers WW and I track my food daily . It is a easy to use To learn some of the features how to get the most use with the app..Version: 3.66.0

Useful if you can ignore the monster and some bugsIt’s a good app aside from it not being designed for adults. Found notifications on the My data tab won’t go away, which is really annoying (even after reading them, shutting down, and restarting). Annoying if I have to reinstall the app and lose historical data just to remove that persistent red “1”. Will try a few other apps to compare, though I like the simplicity of this one..Version: 3.77.0

A1cThe trending a1c show on homepage for a while now it’s gone how do I get it back.Version: 3.90.1

Only rating the reports with appAs it isn’t friendly to use to give to my doctor so she can share with Medicare so they can decide or not to even refill lancets and test strips. Only info needed is date, time, glucose reading. In black ink only. I managed to make a Google Sheet with 3 months worth. All on one page. One page is all my doctor wants. One format a report has 26 columns I think. And way too many pages to print. No means to condense to what is needed. Excel once imported where I can tweak it is really way too much work. I have tried all three formats. And stand that there is a need for generated reports to be useful. And yes, I did share with correct contact my opinion a long time about it. As to the Accu-chek I think it’s the best. As to the app that it can go from good to awesome. It’s hard enough getting Medicare and Doctor seesawing back and forth while patients are being denied or waiting way too long. Pharmacy can’t do a thing. Patient can’t do a thing. But trust me, the report is a huge factor in getting what one should be able to get. On my Google Sheet in header I have my name, DOB, address, cell phone number along with Dr’s name. So once in her hands, it’s easy to not be thought someone else’s. On 1 page. 3 months. No distracting colors. My printer is black ink only. If I had colored ink I wouldn’t want to waste it on the report. Especially since some brands won’t let you use only black ink if color needs changing..Version: 3.90.1

Food tracking lackingWhere can i track Calories? this is a huge part of the equation and yet i can only track Carbs?? might also be useful to track Sodium, Fat, Sugars, Cholesterol, or at least have the option to do so....Version: 3.59.2

MySugrOk app. Not enough choices and options for data input. Not enough pictures /choices so you’re left choosing incorrect pictures. Love the funny monster. Good way to track your food and BG. Annoyed the coach and meter and unlimited strips are only USA. Sort it out! Make it available in the UK and Europe. Also, customer support is awful. They don’t read your emails properly and send generic responses and close your case without dealing with it. I’m still waiting for a coherent response to the email I replied to that they sent me. That was two weeks ago. That aside it’s a fun app. Would be better on subscription and if the scanner worked (it does but pointless having it unless you’re in USA and can have coach)..Version: 3.43.1

Good but still needs work.As a family practioner with IDDM, i would like to make the following suggestions. 1-Should have reminders at sign up to ask if you take meds or insulin. 2-Create reminders to take insulin. 3-Helpful would be an area to add a sliding scale that would follow you each day. 4-Add pulse rate with Blood pressure. 5-Change reports to add 1 week, 2 week, 4 week, 3 months. My doc is asking for weekly reports. 6-Also with reports your name should be on each heading of the report. Thanks for an other wise great app. 7-areas above the insulin should have a spot to add the types of insulin. For example: Lantus the the dosage under that. Thanks Work on a better easier set up to connect Dexcom and regular Glucometer. I use Accuchek guide for years… this back up is required when using Dexcom for double checking highs and lows and for calibration … this much more that could be added to make it an exceptional app..Version: 3.83.47

Enjoy MYSUGARI like MYSUGAR for automatically tracking values from my ACCUCHECK meter provided to me by the VETERANS CLINIC. I use MYSUGAR as a journal to record everything including my QARDIO weight and blood pressure readings, my insulin doses, my food types and carb estimates, as well as my medications and notes about my health, events, and activities. Linking with data from APPLE HEALTH makes it nearly universal, and now I sync it with data from my DEXCOM cgm. The only complaint I have is DEXCOM doesn’t accept data from either MYSUGAR or APPLE HEALTH. So I find double entering carbs, insulin and finger stick calibration values into DEXCOM to be onerous. I realize MYSUGAR has no control over DEXCOM. But perhaps the developers can get together for the benefit of their users to be more universal in exchanging data and in automatically recording/sharing health measurement device data. Accepting only certain app data while stonewalling other apps seems only to benefit the developers and any profitable agreements they may have. I appreciate MYSUGAR seeking to be a universal support app for diabetics. Keep up the good work..Version: 3.83.51

It’s ok but still have to use multiple appsUser dashboard can be a bit confusing. For someone who has had diabetes for a long time but am somewhat of a novice in the education department and stuck in my millennial ways, i still require multiple apps to track carbs + calories. It feels like it does a lot but not enough to be practically useful certainly not for Australian markets. I don’t even understand the points stuff when i log! Too many pharma companies competing for attention not enough coordination. for example I use: Libre to measure and track bsl, novodisk novo pen 6 to log insulin intake, my sugr to calculate bolus, my fitness pal to figure out nutrition information. It’s exhausting.Version: 3.83.63

Nice and easy free appI like this app its free and easy to use I just use it to keep track of my blood sugars but you can keep track of so much more…. Great App👍.Version: 3.83.25

What happened?I’ve been using this app and the subscription service since my diagnosis in 2015. Overall it’s been an amazing app for my needs BUT in the last few months it’s become really buggy, unbelievably slow and crashes all of the time. I turned off it’s access to apple health thinking that would help as it often cant seem to connect, but nope...still slow like 1999 dialup. It’s a dilemma because I have so much data there that I don’t want to switch to a different app but it’s getting super frustrating to deal with a long wait for every field I fill out, then a crash that makes me have to fill it out all over again...all while my food is getting cold. I have a iPhone XR that’s caught up with all updates and this is the only app on my phone that seems to have a problem so I don’t think it’s my phone. I don’t know. I do love this app otherwise though so I’m hoping something gets worked out..Version: 3.59.1

Best of a bad bunchClunky and non-responsive on occasion. Obviously the company is more interested in marketing nonsense instead of providing a reliable tool for diabetics. Recently the download data option stopped working. Also, the data results were being influenced by the various time zones I travel through. Phoned the company and whilst the guy was friendly, the only response was to keep an eye out of an update. I’ll keep using the app because it is the best of a very bad lot. Don’t rely on it to provide reliable consistent data..Version: 3.83.43

Duplicate dataThe app continues to import duplicate data. When travelling to a different time zone the app not only continued to import duplicate activity data it also imported the same activity data under the new time zone giving the same activity appearing 3 times. I am trying to produce a report for my doctor that is correct. Activity data is exchanged through Apple health, Strava and Garmin Connect. The app allows more than one activity to occur at the same time. The app cannot allow for daylight saving time. Too much time wasted deleting duplicate entries..Version: 3.83.47

Could be so much more usefulIf this is the only app you use, it’s possibly adequate. If you track with multiple apps, it’s next to useless. CGM Data is not entered into the logbook other than as a graph. This means none of that information is used in estimating A1c, or other parts of the app. My meters (Accuchek Guide/GuideMe/Connect) often fail to import readings, necessitating multiple attempts. It would be easier to just keep a paper logbook, which is what this app is supposed to eliminate and make easier. The continued lack of a bolus calculator in the US version is also detrimental. (It’s been pending FDA approval for the several years I’ve been using the app. At least that part of the old Accuchek Connect app is still functional.) While menu items can sometimes be rearranged (data entry), the icons cannot, which means much side scrolling to make some selections. While my experiences have been negative with the app, I give full appreciation to the support staff. The developers could take some lessons..Version: 3.83.9

No dark mode?!Diabetics are often also low vision, and not having the option for dark mode is really frustrating!! And since the last update, there is weirdly even more blinding white than previously. As a PRO customer, I’d also appreciate more customization of the content in general. Like being able to move the graphics around so that the ones I use most are at the top, and/or being able to hide the ones I don’t use at all. Did I mention dark mode? Also, being able to adjust the font size - because again, low vision. Otherwise, it’s the best diabetes tracking app I’ve used (and I’ve pretty much tried them all) since I was Dx’ed years ago. Depending on accessibility features being added (or at least considered) between now and the next renewal for my PRO subscription, I may just bail and give up on tracking from my phone at all. There is no integration with my Libre3 CGM either (which is a Libre issue, I know), and it’s a little spotty with AppleHealth integration, so that’s also frustrating. Efficiency is probably the most important factor for me, especially when trying to manage ALL the things with regard to my health..Version: 3.84.0

1 step forward 4 steps backTheir previous apps were better. This one is more suited to type I or not in control type II. For in-control type II there’s no long term graphing to help you understand if there’s a trend to it going up. Because of that I usually don’t test as often..Version: 3.93.0

No Apple Watch supportAs above..Version: 3.88.0

Enhance the UiUser interface needs to be better at providing information. Graphing should allow to see the trend. I want to see graphs with the range of 1 week, 1 month or year. Design for the adults is also a good feature.Version: 3.91.1

Spend more time on useful reports and less on cutesy giggle emojisThe target range is too generic and only allows an overall range. Not powerful enough. Needs to provide before and after meal ranges with critical highs and lows. Competition offers this. Icon tagging is nice and offers extensive variety of options. Would be cool to offer user defined icons with import icon graphic option. Paired with the Accu-Chek Guide meter which is the intended meter for this software. However the AccuChek Meter which had shown me a pattern analysis of high glucose mornings over a few days , the app does not import that pattern information, nor does the MySugr software analytics calculate its own or similar pattern which the Accu-Chek meter finds. Reports could use improving, does not include Blood Pressure which is imported via Apple Health. Reports only provide overall weekly, monthly glucose averages etc. Basic information is pretty standard these days , but eliminates delving into deeper analysis. No weekly before , fasting , or after meal glucose averages Competitor apps provide this feature..Version: 3.83.0

DommageCette app a perdu beaucoup de sa pertinence depuis qu’il n’est plus possible de récupérer ses données avec Internet..Version: 3.59.3
