✓ Masterpiece.TWEWY is one of those games that comes out of nowhere and becomes an instant classic. It ticks all the boxes of what you could ask for in a video game. ✓ IOS8 problem.I have had this game for like, a year plus a few months by now, and had it because it came on sale back then. Now, I'm seriously disappointed because I got iOS 8 ((which each day passes I hate it more and more)) and when I click this game it pops up with "Initializing" and nothing happens. Like, I want to play my game please, do something about this update, it's been long enough since the last update, a new one is appreciated. People like ^ are losing money on this ridiculous amount of slack. I read some Reddit pages about this and an update is seriously needed by now. ✓ One of my fav ds games back in HD!!!I was hoping for another TWEWY game but this sure hits the spot. Square-Enix sure made my day with this remake. ✓ A Fantastic Port of an Unmatched GameThe World Ends with You will always hold a very special place in my heart; it has always been my favorite game of all time. The combat, art style, and especially the story left me breathless. News of this port left me utterly ecstatic. The results of this port (from the original DS game) is a mixed bag. For the most part, the game has been left untouched, which is fantastic news. The game remains as groundbreaking an engrossing as ever with its plethora of game mechanics and its superb gameplay. Sadly, the battle system has lost much of its ingenuity and intuitiveness to compensate for the new platform. On the other hand, the graphics are sharp and better than ever with a gorgeous Retina display. I'm sure the old game pales in comparison to this excellent up-scaling. Its worth noting, however, that it is pretty much essential that anyone hoping to play this game owns one of Apple's newer models. My iPhone 4 is just a tad slow running this game; but not enough to hamper my experience with the game. In short, I would recommend this game to an old fan or an interested newcomer in a heartbeat. The game speaks for itself and one could argue that the port is better than the original; certainly more accessible. Please, don't let the price tag scare you, this game deserves your money more than a thousand Angry Bird ripoffs. P.S. Square Enix, please, for the love of god, stop rehashing and rebranding tired old franchises like Final Fantasy and jump all over an original one like TWEWY. ✓ GreatIt's like a whole different game on this platform, I love all the upgrades. Good memories come back and new ones are made with this version. Sound is crisper and the tracks are at their full length. Graphics are polished and look great. Knocked off a star because of a bug I ALREADY encountered not more than 10 minutes into the game. I know that some fans are worried about ios 9 affecting the game and square enix taking almost a year to patch the game so they may have not updated at all. The graphics are beautiful in HD and the story is still amazing. There are new songs as well as all the originals and it includes the Kingdom mixes. Aside from that, they added a borders to compensate for the iPhone 5 screen size in areas it doesn't need to be changed such as the start screen. ✓ Apsolutley awesome!I only wanted to play this after first meeting the characters in the 3d kingdom hearts game and being a fan of quite a few of Square Enix games I thought I'd give this one a try too. The story is awesome the characters are awesome and its a pretty long game that when you finish lets you go back to any part of the game you like to unlock secret files. There is an added bonus extra scene which makes the characters seem totally out of it but totally awesome all in all. ✓ AmazingIf you're worried about the price tag, you shouldn't! This is the best game I've played on the iPhone and is fast becoming one of my favourite games ever. It's basically a highly stylised action RPG, similar in style to Kingdom Hearts but with much more depth. I've been playing for 14 hours so far and there's obviously much more to come. The amount of content is fantastic and the number of abilities you can acquire is on par with any console game. Fighting is rarely a chore, the battle system is involving and fast paced. The music is catchy, even staying in your head when not playing. There's a lot of vocal tracks and a fair few remixes of previously heard songs in the game which really keeps a thread running through the story. Graphics-wise it's smooth, sharp and very unique. The story is told in an interactive comic style which is easy to get used to. The story is pretty good, like I say I'm nowhere near the end so it's hard to say where it'll go. Revolved around a boy who wakes up with no memories in a world that runs parallel to the real world. In order to survive he must team up with other people to survive the reaper game. The fighting mechanics are intuitive and the game runs smoothly on my iPod (5th gen). The storyline is linear but never feels TOO repetitious. The art design is amazing and the graphics look stunning on the retina display. My only qualm is that the screen does not use up all 4 inches of my iPod (5th gen)..Version: 1.1.0
✓ Doubts blown away.I had my reservations when I heard about this. On the one hand it's one of the greatest games I've ever played. On the other, how on earth was it going to work on a single screen? And the price is undoubtedly steep... But it's worth every penny. It's not just a slightly rejigged conversion, it's a re-working that's obviously had a lot of thought and effort put into it. The new combat system is great for the single screen, it looks amazing and of course sounds as great as ever. Everything else remains much the same - the immersing story, the wonderful artwork, the deceptively simple pin system... You'll get sucked in. If you played the DS version you get to immerse yourself in this all over again; if you've never played it, there's a treat waiting for you here. Highly recommended..Version: 1.0.0

✓ One of the best games EVER!I have played my fair share of games across iOS, pic and consoles, but Square Enix's The World Ends With You is one of my all time favourite games. I original played this game on the Nintendo DS and LOVED IT! And this version does an excellent job delivering this epic adventure to the iOS. I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves RPG games or is looking for a unique game play and adventure. ✓ Ds vs soloI will always like the ds version, but the mobile is better in the fact the you don't control 2 characters at once. I could never get around that, so I always had the CPU takeover at the start of battle. I'm glad they changed that in this version..Version: 1.2.4
✓ Newest update has inadvertently broken the gameWith the most recent update, both battle screens and walking screens now stretch to fill the larger phone screens. Unfortunately, this means that you can no longer fight certain pig noise that appear at the very edges of maps. That also means that combat against certain enemies, especially bosses is substantially harder, if not impossible. It would be 100x better if the devs applied the same aspect ratio fix they made for dialogue scenes to the whole game. The game was never designed to be played on such wide displays so having the original aspect ratio would be the best choice. ✓ The same grteat game!It is a great game eitherway, it was on the DS and still is, but moving to the iOS there is a few things they could have improved, like adding multitouch suuport... I just naturally want to use multitouch!! The combat is less intense with only one screen to manage, and partner control is next to none especially without multitouch. ✓ This is it!This game represents a big turning point for ios gaming. SE have truly gone all out to make this more than a boring port, only very minor gameplay changes along with a fresh HD graphics bump make it feel like an all out revisioning. The slight differences from DS are great and work excellently and work to make the game feel truly at home on ios. No other game gives the depth, presentation, story or replay value on the entire app store. For as long as i have had an iphone i've wanted this, and i've got everything i could ask for! The only possible blemish is the new mingle mode. It's understandable why it isn't as fully featured as the DS (obviously considering battery life for the device etc), but it would be nice to be able to still earn MPP without another ios device with this game (PLEASE DO SOMETHING SQUARE-ENIX!! MAKE IT PERFECT!!). This is only important to hardcore players who want to play through the whole post-story content and even without you can enjoy everything this game has to offer..Version: 1.0.0

✓ Home at last!This game truly is a masterpiece in my eyes. Wonderful art works, great music, excellent character designs. This game has it all. It was great on the ds but after moving to the iPhone/iPad it's really found itself at home. Controls Are touchy but so easy to build chains and max out the synch. Price is the only set back, which is what will keep most people away from playing it. I just hope square Enix has dlc/extensions for us thats either free or sitting at a 50cent marker for the cost we payed..Version: 1.0.0
