✓ Not worth itWhile the app is good about giving up-to-date news alerts, they give you a limit of 30 articles a month to look at, unless you want to pay to see the articles. Even after the month, when you’re supposed to have free articles, they still won’t allow you to see the articles, stating “you’ve reached your free article limit for this month” and to subscribe to see the article. ✓ Fake and BiasedSpotty coverage of local breaking news stories and local events. Misinformed staff is reporting without confirming facts and supported by completely biased editors. Gave them a try for almost 2 years after moving to the area. Not an accurate representation of panhandle life.Version: 5.16.1

✓ New AppDo not like! Not user friendly especially for older adults! Hard to read since the print’s so small & when reading the funnies you cant rotate each funny to make it larger. There’s no place to tap to print articles, puzzles, & detest the advertisement boxes that pop up (the PNJ isn’t free & I abhor the ad popups!) I suspect your current subscribers will finally bite the bullet & leave your paper! While I’m at it, there are always misspelled words & often poor grammar. Don’t have spell-check? And finally, your Andy Marlette cartoon is, as usual, not funny, politically biased & full of untruths, as is the rest of the news in PNJ..Version: 7.3.2

✓ Pages keep going blankSince the latest update, when the page loads, all the columns are present, but almost immediately they disappear, leaving only the photographs and a blank page. If you go back a page, then forward, it will reload and may or may not be readable. After a few minutes, the app crashes and you have to start over again. ✓ There is no “crime” sectionThe desktop/mobile website hardly ever works, so I figured if I paid for this app I wouldn’t have as many issues. I was incorrect, and furthermore, there isn’t even a section for crime on the app, but there is on the website. This is the only thing I care to utilize this app for. If they fix it I will reinstate my subscription, but it’s not worth the time it took to download, let alone the monthly fee..Version: 5.22.2
